NEWS - THE SESTROTESK DISTRICT  COURT LEGALISES THE  SEIZURE OF   PROPERTIES OF JEHOVAH'S  WITNESSES  IN RUSSIA. 

As a result of a 4-hour meeting on December 7,2017, the court, presided over by Judge Bogdanova, satisfied the prosecutor's request with the tacit agreement of the representative of Rosreestr to confiscate the bethel property. The property  is a  large complex of real estate in St. Petersburg , "The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania."
The issue deals with 14 buildings of 33,000 square meters, located on ten hectares of improved land in the village of Solnechnoe in the Kurort district of St. Petersburg.The property is valued about 800 million rubies 
 This complex has been openly owned since 2000 by the "Watchtower Society," an association that has been active since 1884 serving the interests of Jehovah's Witnesses throughout the world.
The Russian federation did not finance the construction of the complex. An abandoned Pioneers' camp was acquired on a commercial basis by Jehovah's Witnesses from a Russian enterprise. The ownership rights to the aforesaid complex, belonging to the "Watchtower Society," were officially registered by appropriate agencies of the Russian federation and for a space of 17 years nobody has challenged them. In these years, the "Watchtower Society," as owner of the real estate, transferred to the Russian budget tens of millions of rubles in the form of taxes.
However, the Russian publication believes Russia will inevitably face lawsuit and pay for the confiscated Bethel property, and the total amount of the compensation may far exceed the property cost. Thus, reporters believe that Russia made a generous gift to Jehovah's Witnesses. He also believes Witnesses will go to not only European but also American courts, and a diplomatic scandal is guaranteed.
It is shocking that even top Russian officials can lie in a brazen and unblushing way.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that Jehovah's witnesses do not obey Russian laws and teaches its members to do the same. He said : "As for Jehovah's Witnesses, in Russia all organizations that call their supporters to openly violate Russian laws are prohibited. This is exactly what the sect did. They were warned, but failed to hear and continued involving their members in anti-Constitutional activity. There are no questions here."
This is one of the officials whom many Witnesses across the world sent their letters.

If this is the same case I read about earlier, the Society tried to pretend that this property was not "owned" by Russian Jehovah's Witnesses, but circa 2002 transferred ownership to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, USA. 

THEN ... they continued to use it as before, thinking that this brilliant piece of legalese would work the same way in Russia that it does in the United States. 

In the United States, a Corporation is considered the same as a completely different immortal person (as long as the taxes are paid...).  In Russia the thinking (obviously) is different.

We have our arrogant fantasies about Justice ... they have bayonets with very sharp points.

Russia is getting alarming powered up by the church and state, meanwhile they claim victory of an enemy that can't really be defeated in the Middle East. This goes for the other things taking place in Europe, Asia and the Emirates.

He specifically tried to sell him a  deed to a summer cottage he did not even own of the Sea of Galilee without telling him violent waves kicked up by frequent storms making seafront property worthless for that body of water - AND that it was polluted with the carcasses of 1000 pigs that had leapt off from the precipice above!!

It makes as much sense at hiding an elephant under a bath towel for the Russians to discover the ruse.

The posturing of duped Russian authorities in their pathetic attempts to prevent the preaching of the good news of the kingdom must carry some sort of internal kudos. The seizing of this little postage stamp of property carries little weight in any  positive estimation of the value of the administration there otherwise.

In reality, it is as about effective in it's aim as the activities of the slavery sanctioner, Oddone Colonna were, in his actions to trample vindictively on John Wycliffe, who famously cheated the authorities of his day.

As Jesus prepared his followers for this kind of onslaught, we can take comfort in what he said: 

"Be on your guard against men, for they will hand you over to local courts and they will scourge you in their synagogues. And you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a witness to them and the nations. However, when they hand you over, do not become anxious about how or what you are to speak, for what you are to speak will be given you in that hour;  for the ones speaking are not just you, but it is the spirit of your Father that speaks by you.  Further, brother will hand brother over to death, and a father his child, and children will rise up against parents and will have them put to death.  And you will be hated by all people on account of my name, but the one who has endured to the end will be saved." Matt.10:12-17.

The saddening element of it all, however, is the inevitable familial treachery that is flushed out in this necessary exposure of the demonic domination of the earth, albeit a necessary excercise in the programme for the permanent solution, under the direction of our King Christ Jesus, and our Sovereign Lord, Jehovah.
