On Sunday, CNN reported that John McCain will likely miss this weekÂ’s tax bill vote — a scenario that made Collins' vote even more important. McCain, suffering from brain cancer, is recovering in Arizona after being hospitalized for a viral infection. Senator Jeff Flake now remains the only Republican hold out on the bill.

The re-vote isn’t expected to change the outcome.
