COOKEVILLE × Memorial services for Mrs. Anna Mae Kolbe Hacker, 67, of Cookeville, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Cookeville. The family will receive friends immediately following the services.

Anna passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 5, 1950, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Harold and Lydia Holloway Kolbe.

Anna was raised in Wisconsin and later moved back to Tennessee. She was baptized as one of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses and was a member of the West Congregation in Cookeville.

Anna was a talented poetry writer and was awarded for some of her work. She loved being outdoors and adored her cats.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dan Hacker, whom she married March 15, 1974 in Cookeville; two brothers, Jerry and Tommy Kolbe of Algood; and aunt, Golda Walker (Lee Earl) of Monterey.
