People come up with different things to add on to what is there. But none of us should be letting your guard down.

Another thing we should be watchful of is those who distribute ill content regarding children for I believe one Priest was caught having been receiving and distributing pornographic material regarding children.

The dark web is usually where such material is often in distribution, in this priest's case, his action eventually led to his discover, as are for those who do the same.

Other than that, it is indeed an issue, but those pushing to make it normal are only adding more to the fire and such a fire cannot be put out.

Maybe, but I doubt it. It's probably quite the opposite. Of course there will be some who think this way, that's why Ted Talks rejected the talk. But those who speak of Ms. Heine are more likely the ones embarrassed by the speech, and who hope that their own agendas are not hurt by those wanting to make pedophilia legal. I see the number of mentions of Ms. Heine as overwhelmingly against making pedophilia legal. A few more might agree with Ms Heine's position that acting on pedophilia is a crime, but that we need more sympathy even for the devils who act upon it. Perhaps you  are referring to a "darker" part of the web that doesn't come up in my Google searches and/or newspaper, website, research database searches. I expect that some of those who copy the video are in agreement with Ms Heine's position that acting on pedophilia is a crime, but do not realize the danger of creepy scope creep. I agree with what you said:

I can imagine the paper shredders now working 24/7/365 ..... in both the Vatican, and in Warwick.

The Statute of Limitations has run out on pressing criminal charges on all but TWO of the accused priests ... but I wonder about the CIVIL liability that the church itself has.?

Just as Al Capone  was prosecuted for Income Tax Evasion, perhaps the Catholic Church itself can be prosecuted for conspiracy, organized mob activity, or some other thing RELATED to the great evil perpetrated here.

In their "Secret Archives" ... I wonder if they use "Blue Envelopes", to report  these crimes to their equivalent of Branch Overseers ... the Bishops .....  as we do for OUR secret archives.?

Several years ago the Catholic Los Angeles Diocese was sued and a lost 600 MILLION dollars, in the same sort of cases, and because they did not have the money, the courts confiscated their real estate, and sold it at auction.

(That's almost 3/4 BILLION dollars ....  for those in Rio Linda.).

( Yeah, I know it's less than 2/3 billion ... and you know it ... but they get confused easily with odd "change" ...)

Granted that they and other churches have already been confronted and their rules have been dissected in accuracy, it will not be at the scale of the Catholic Church, for not only the Catholic Church is passive, but it has twice as many child abusers left and right, in the hallways and trenches, etc., the very reason why they, among others, are on a very high percentage right now in the US and in the EU.

The Catholic Church has several billion adherents, and they have infiltrated every form of government ... and historically ... especially during WWII ... they acted as Intelligence Services for whatever government they thought was going to win. ( Look up the July 20, 1933 "Holy" Concordat, between the Vatican and the German Third Reich, especially article 16).  They bet on the wrong horse when they were the first to recognize the new Nazi Government, at the time.

At Amazon.com you can get books showing a "paper trail" a thousand years long of child sexual abuse, and child slavery, and child trafficking, the most notable  of course was the "Children's Crusades', where "innocent children" were rounded up, all over Europe, and marched to fight for the "liberation" of Jerusalem, under the custody of Catholic clerics to the Mediterranean  Sea ... where many died of hunger, raiders, and exposure .... to the coast, where they were met by Muslim slave ships, and sold into slavery to the Muslims.

I firmly believe that Jehovah's Witnesses have the LEAST amount of child exploitation of any organized religion, and that we are doing the best we can with the limitations of human frailty and decadence .... but "the road to hell" is paved with the bodies of the innocent, set as paving stones, by the accountants and lawyers of ALL organized religions ... including ours ... to one degree or another.

The REASON is ..... when there is several BILLION dollars of "free money (contributions) at stake, and small cities of Real Estate are in jeopardy .... then equity, Justice, and truth are ALWAYS subverted, to maintain and conserve those assets.

There never has been any exceptions to this rule ... and there are not any now.

That is why Jesus owned ONLY the clothes on his back ... not even a change of clothes.
