I read this news in Spanish about a case of a murder in Panama. The matter I am interested on is that it mentions that the judge ordered a blood draw but the defence lawyer said that she did not agree with that because the person that she is defending is a JW, and this religion does not allow blood draws. ("permitir" "allow" is the word the news are using)

Is it a new understanding or is it someone pretending to be a JWs or fake news?
