USCIRF Exposes European “Experts” Who Support CCP Campaigns Against “Cults”

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom publishes a document against Russian anti-cultist Alexander Dvorkin and his organization FECRIS, both supporters of religious persecution in China.

On July 17, 2020, the USCIRF, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, unveiled a new document, whose title is “The  Anti-cult  Movement  and Religious  Regulation in Russia and the Former Soviet Union.” The USCIRF is an independent, bipartisan U.S. federal government commission created by the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA). Its Commissioners are appointed by the President and by Congressional leaders of both political parties. 

The title may indicate that the document does not concern China, and in fact its main focus is Russia. However, there are three important connections between the new USCIRF report and China.

First, the report offers a detailed and accurate analysis of the activities of Alexander Dvorkin, a Russian activist who has led for almost thirty years campaigns against religious movements he has labeled as “cults.” As the report documents, he has been instrumental in preparing the repression of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia, and has attacked many other religious minorities. The USCIRF asks the government of the United States to “publicly censure Alexander Dvorkin and [his organization], the Saint Irenaeus of Lyon Information-Consultation Center (SILIC), for their ongoing disinformation campaign against religious minorities.”

The report mentions Dvorkin’s activities outside of Russia. Although this part of his “disinformation campaigns” is not mentioned by the USCIRF, Dvorkin has regularly supported the CCP in its repression of movements labeled as xie jiao. Dvorkin went repeatedly to China and Hong Kong to offer his support to the persecution of Falun Gong, to deny that the CCP is harvesting organs from prisoners of conscience, and to applaud the repression of The Church of Almighty God. In turn, the CCP has supported Dvorkin’s campaigns against the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia, and “imported” them to China. While the CCP has introduced Dvorkin as an authoritative “Russian expert in sect studies,” the USCIRF report exposes him as a pseudo-expert “relying on discredited theories” and promoting religious intolerance and discrimination.

Second, Dvorkin, as the USCIRF report notes, has been active internationally as vice-president of a transnational anti-cult organization known as FECRIS, the European Federation of Research and Information Centers on Sectarianism. FECRIS is also notorious for the support several of its members, in addition to Dvorkin, have offered to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong in China. In turn, the CCP’s Anti-xie-jiao association has advertised and republished reports by the FECRIS against the Jehovah’s Witnesses and other groups. The more one investigates, the more one discovers a two-way relationship between FECRIS (and Dvorkin) and Chinese organizations who promote and justify the bloody persecution of Falun Gong, The Church of Almighty God, and other religious movements.

The report from the USCIRF proposes some means by which to combat the violations to the rights of the Jehovah’s Witnesses to practice religion freely. One was recommending that the United States government state “Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan as ‘countries of particular concern’ for their ongoing, systematic, and egregious religious freedom violations, and include Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on its Special Watch List.”

Yes, these militant atheists are gaining strength.  As your article states, they hate any form of spirituality and particularly hate JWs because we do the work of spreading the truth about the bible.  We are a special cult deserving of hateful attack.

I am not surprised that he is working with China because China has systematically been eradicating any form of religion; only allowing worship of the state. They have been using the organs of "conscientious objectors" together with Falun Gong …. more than 10,000 transplants per year of organs harvested from religious groups without their consent. 

Many people still have the idea that China is a good country to live in. They cite that they have had children study there. However, foreigners used to have a good time before, they were not censured in their personal freedom like the Chinese citizens. Now the CCP have started to clamp down on foreigners as well.  Many foreigners are leaving the country.  One can see that these countries are part of the King of the north. 

Russia and China are both expanding their ports in the world...they have moved into many parts of the world and by devious means obtaining the wealth of the earth such as rare earth minerals, control of fishing areas etc.   As seen in Daniel 11: 36 to the end of chapter.  Their partners are previous soviet countries, Iran, turkey, Syria. Russia now has control of a port in Syria and now expanding into Mediterranean in Libya.  Russia annexed Crimea and control the entire Black-sea area there.  Encroaching on the land in the rest of Crimea as well.

If anyone had doubts that we are living in the time of the end …… they must re-examine the scripturas and look at what is really going on in the world.

I console myself that Jehovah will judge these wicked people who love control of other people.  The history of Pharaoh and the ten plagues is wonderful.  We are doing it at present and it gives me faith that Jehovah may use signs again to "I shall prove to be".  The signs are starting.  The world-wide lockdown is a first for the entire planet in all its history since the flood. Noah was locked down for more than a year but now the people of the entire planet is in lockdown - not just one family.

Yes lift up your heads..... scoffers of Jehovah believe that things will improve … that this is just a normal cycle of civilization going down….. but civilization will rise again.  Well, the time is close for Jehovah and his name to be vindicated.  All those killed by these evil people will get a resurrection..... that comforts me... and helps me to put trust only in Jehovah.

There seems to be some slight information to make it clear that it is not only JWs being persecuted. So the idea that all other 'religions' are part of the world and therefore not effected, is proven wrong. 

As for leaders of one country telling leaders of another country, how to run their country, we know that America does that all the time. That is why it is such a shame that the rulers of the CCJW are American. Americans have such a domineering attitude and always want to be in charge.

Yes but we have been living in the time of the end for a very long time, and it could still be years away. 
Remember it was due in the 70's according to the JW leaders back then. (1967 Watchtower saying last part of last day)

Well, they are coming and violently arresting JWs in the middle of the night with terrorist squads as if witnesses are terrorists..... throwing the elderly on the ground as if the are dangerous people. They know we carry no guns and refuse their military training.  it is pure theatre so the neighbors can really get the idea that these people have weapons and secretly plotting against the government or  something.

The New world bible translation has been banned as dangerous material. 

In China too - the only bible allowed is the state translation where all scriptures have been removed that they do not like. Conscientious objectors (we know who they are ) - their body parts are used in the thousands of transplants they do per year.

It is easy to deny this...… this proves the bias.  Yes others are persecuted too but not in such as violent way..... but this will also ensue when ALL religion will be removed...… soon on the UN agenda.
