Government cabinet are still in a meeting ironing out the last details but it looks like it'll be:

• Pubs, bars, restaurant doing takeaway/delivery only
• Essential retail only
• No household visits or social gatherings except weddings and funerals (6 guests at a wedding, 10 mourners at a funeral)
• Cannot travel more than 5km from home unless for essential reasons like work
• Schools and creches will stay open
• Elite level sport may continue
• Lockdown likely to be eased on county-by-county basis

Can't keep workers working if their kids aren't at school

If children aren't in school parents are taking time off work to look after them. If people aren't working the economy isn't growing. Politicians will say the priority is children, but it's always about money.
