I WOULD NEVER DO THAT ~

Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree that God had forbidden them. You think: "I never would!"
But do your daily decisions show that you consider that obedience to God is the best way of life?
 
Lot's wife missed abandoned products and became a pillar of salt. You think: "I would never do that!"
But are you always happy with what you have and do not envy anyone?
 
Peter denied Christ three times, fearing the opinions of the people. You think: "I would never do that!"
But were you ever afraid of what family members, colleagues or classmates would say when they knew you were a Christian?
 
Jonah refused to fulfill God's mission to preach to the people of Nineveh. You think: "I would never do that!"
But are you always willing to preach the word of God?
 
Korah and his associates rebelled against Moses. You think: "I would never do that!"
But, perhaps, did you criticize the Elders in your Christian congregation?
 
For many years, Solomon was faithful to God, but then he began to sin. You think, "I would never do that!"
But does the same fire of love and zeal for God burn you, as at the beginning of your spiritual journey? "I would never do that!" - We think, when reading the Bible.
"He who thinks he is standing, be careful not to fall," God warns us lovingly (1 Corinthians 10:12).

Why would you even post this? It says plainly to all Bodies of Elders. Granted, there is nothing here that is controversial. Just instructions for contributions to the annual meeting. Slight change from last time. It is like you are just trying to stir up controversy where none exist? Reminded of one of the things that Jehovah hates mentioned at Proverbs 6:19  . . .  And anyone sowing contentions among brothers.
