  1. A Place That Will Bring You Praise—Chorus ????? 1. Jehovah, the Maker of heaven, By heaven you can’t be contained, Even less an earthly dwelling place. But your spirit can here remain. Adorning this center of worship Are people who walk in your light. We rejoice to serve in unity; Our devotion is your delight. (BRIDGE) There is nothing we have That you haven’t provided. From your own hand, we’ve given All that we offer you. (CHORUS) For all you have done, we are grateful; Our voices in song we now raise. For you’ve made our hope reality With this place that will bring you praise. 2. Jehovah, you knew that we wanted A place that will bring to you praise And will serve the needs of worshippers, Helping others to walk your ways. And now may this place serve your purpose. There’s work needing yet to be done, To pick up the pace and carry on In the work given by your Son. (BRIDGE) So we offer the best Of our time and possessions. You alone are deserving — Giver of all good things. (CHORUS) For all you have done, we are grateful; Our voices in song we now raise. For you’ve made our hope reality With this place that will bring you praise. Tap on Video Link mp4_____Enjoy! IMG_7873.MP4
  2. Got this from a sis, as related at Bethel.... Brother Sanderson told a tear jerker experience from the Phillipines. A sister started a Bible study with a little girl named Isa who was only 4 years old. Basically she taught her the Bible Stories by using the pictures. She quickly learned and before long was reading, She even went to cong meetings and in the public ministry with this sister over the course of the next 6 years. (The experience did not say, but am wondering if perhaps the sister was a maid or nanny in the household.) The little girl's mother was involved in politics and the father was a policeman so they were not interested in Bible truth at that time. Then the sister had to move away. She was heartbroken about Isa and wondered what would happen to her. When Isa found out that the sister was leaving she ran after her and cried, "Auntie, when I get to paradise who will be my mama and my papa since my mother and father are not witnesses?" The sister replied, "Your auntie and uncle will be there with you." (In other words, the sister and her husband.) The years went by. Later, the sister learned that Isa was killed in a motorcycle acident. The parents were heart broken and were going to have a religious funeral for Isa. The school teacher let the parents know that on recent papers that Isa had turned in at the school she said that she was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. So the mother and father asked the local witnesses if they would conduct the funeral for Isa. The brothers and sisters rallied around the parents and the parents were so glad to learn that they could see their daughter again in paradise that they began studying the Bible, the father resigned as a policeman, and the mother gave up politics. They were baptized. So now when Isa comes back in the Resurrection (John 5:29 & 11:21-25; Acts 24:15...) imagine her ecstasy when she not only sees her "auntie and uncle" who taught her Bible truth, but also her very own mom and dad! Just had to share that experience with you as it was such a sweet one. Little do we know to some young ones who can't read yet, even though taught God's Word, pictures mean so much! ?????
  3. Jehovah Does Not Forget His People - HOPE ON AND BE COURAGEOUS! - ?????????????? He is constantly thinking of his loyal ones. He remembers them as if their names were engraved on his hands ~ (Isaiah 49:16) Look! Upon [my] palms I have engraved you. Your walls are in front of me constantly." ?????????????? (Isaiah 49:13-14) . . .Give a glad cry, YOU heavens, and be joyful, you earth. Let the mountains become cheerful with a glad outcry. For Jehovah has comforted his people, and he shows pity upon his own afflicted ones. 14 But Zion kept saying: “Jehovah has left me, and Jehovah himself has forgotten me.” ?????????????? (Song of Solomon 8:6-7) . . .“Place me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; because love is as strong as death is, insistence on exclusive devotion is as unyielding as She?ol is. Its blazings are the blazings of a fire, the flame of Jah. 7 Many waters themselves are not able to extinguish love, nor can rivers themselves wash it away. . ." ?????????????? (Isaiah 26:1) In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city. He sets salvation itself for walls and rampart." ?????????????? (Isaiah 60:18) “No more will violence be heard in your land, despoiling or breakdown within your boundaries. And you will certainly call your own walls Salvation and your gates Praise." ?????????????? In his letter to the Galatians, the apostle Paul exhorted Christians: “Let us not give up in doing what is fine, for in due season we shall reap if we do not tire out.” (Galatians 6:9) To the Hebrews he wrote the encouraging words: “God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name.” (Hebrews 6:10) ?????????????? Never should we feel that Jehovah has forgotten his people. Like ancient Zion, Christians have good reason to rejoice and patiently wait on Jehovah. He holds firm to his covenant terms and promises. ?????????????? Now that he has taken us up into his theocratic organization, we must never leave it, never cease meeting with it. He never forgets his faithful organization and so cannot leave and forsake it. If Jehovah never abandons his organization, then for us to abandon it would be equal to abandoning him. If we abide in his unforgettable organization, he will never forget us. For him to forget and leave us would mean our eternal destruction. Never may that happen! Read more at:: jw.org
  4. What Do You Know About God and the Ice He has Given? ???????? (Job 38:22-23) . . .Have you entered into the storehouses of the snow, Or do you see even the storehouses of the hail, 23 Which I have kept back for the time of distress, For the day of fight and war?" ???????? (Job 37:5-16) . . .God thunders with his voice in a wonderful way, Doing great things that we cannot know. 6 For to the snow he says, ‘Fall earthward,Â’ And [to] the downpour of rain, even [to] the downpour of his strong rains. 7 On the hand of every earthling man he puts a seal For every mortal man to know his work. 8 And the wild beast comes into the ambush, And in its hiding places it dwells. 9 Out of the interior room comes the storm wind And out of the north winds the cold. 10 By the breath of God the ice is given And the breadth of waters is under constraint. 11 Yes, with moisture he burdens the cloud, His light scatters the cloud mass, 12 And it is being turned round about by his steering [them] for their performance Wherever he commands them upon the face of the productive land of the earth. 13 Whether for a rod or for his land Or for loving-kindness, he makes it produce effects. 14 Do give ear to this, O Job; Stand still and show yourself attentive to the wonderful works of God. 15 Do you know when God laid an appointment upon them, And when he caused the light of his cloud to beam? 16 Do you know about the poisings of the cloud, The wonderful works of the One perfect in knowledge?"Â Read the Bible online at: https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200002130 jw.org
  5. Are You Looking at Worthless Things? - Why Our Life is Involved and Why We Should Avoid Them! - This is No Cute Joke! ??????? (Psalm 119:37) Make my eyes pass on from seeing what is worthless; Preserve me alive in your own way." Worthless Things to Avoid In today’s world, it has become increasingly common to ‘keep on looking’ at pornography, particularly on the Internet. We do not have to look for such sites—they look for us! In what way? An ad with an enticing picture may suddenly appear on one’s computer screen. ??????? Or an innocuous-looking e-mail, once opened, may explode into a pornographic picture designed in such a way as to make exiting from it difficult. Even if a person gets only a glimpse before deleting it, the image has already made an impression on his mind. Just a brief brush with pornography can have sad consequences. It can leave an individual with a guilty conscience and a struggle to erase immoral scenes from his mind. Worse yet, someone who deliberately “keeps on looking” needs to have his illicit desires deadened.—Read Ephesians 5:3, 4, 12; Col. 3:5, 6. ??????? Children can be drawn into pornography by their natural curiosity. If that happens, it may have lasting effects on their view of sexuality. These effects, notes a report, may range from a distorted sense of sexual norms to “difficulty maintaining a healthy, loving relationship; an unrealistic view of women; and potentially, pornography addiction, which can interfere with school work, friendships and family relationships.” Even more devastating can be the effects later in a marriage relationship. ??????? Another “good-for-nothing,” or worthless, thing to avoid is entertainment that promotes materialism or the occult or that features violence, bloodshed, and death. (Psalm 101:3) I shall not set in front of my eyes any good-for-nothing thing. The doing of those who fall away I have hated; It does not cling to me." ??????? Christian parents have the responsibility before Jehovah to be selective about what they allow to be viewed in their home. Of course, no true Christian would deliberately involve himself in spiritism. Still, parents need to be aware of films, TV series, video games, and even comics and children’s books that highlight uncanny practices. (Proverbs 22:5) Thorns [and] traps are in the way of the crooked one; he that is guarding his soul keeps far away from them." Whether we are young or old, our eyes should find no pleasure in video games that feature violence and depict killing with gory realism. (Psalm 11:5) Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, And anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates." ??????? We must refuse to focus our mind on any activity that Jehovah condemns. Remember, Satan is targeting our thoughts. (2 Corinthians 11:3) But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent seduced Eve by its cunning, YOUR minds might be corrupted away from the sincerity and the chastity that are due the Christ." Even spending too much time viewing entertainment that may be considered acceptable can encroach on family worship, daily Bible reading, and our preparation for meetings. (Philippians 1:9-10) And this is what I continue praying, that YOUR love may abound yet more and more with accurate knowledge and full discernment; 10 that YOU may make sure of the more important things, so that YOU may be flawless and not be stumbling others up to the day of Christ." (Numbers 15:39) ‘And it must serve as a fringed edge for YOU, and YOU must see it and remember all the commandments of Jehovah and do them, and YOU must not go about following YOUR hearts and YOUR eyes, which YOU are following in immoral intercourse." (Proverbs 4:25) As for your eyes, straight ahead they should look, yes, your own beaming eyes should gaze straight in front of you." (Proverbs 23:5) Have you caused your eyes to glance at it, when it is nothing? For without fail it makes wings for itself like those of an eagle and flies away toward the heavens." (Matthew 7:17) Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit." (Psalm 119:25) My soul has been cleaving to the very dust. Preserve me alive according to your word." READ MORE AT: jw.org
  6. May You All Be Blessed! Share With Others, We All Need Hope! ???????? 2 Cor. 4:13, 16: “We too exercise faith . . . Therefore we do not give up, but even if the man we are outside [our physical body] is wasting away, certainly the man we are inside is being renewed [or given fresh strength] from day to day.” (We may be wasting away in a physical sense. But spiritually we are being renewed as we continue to feed on GodÂ’s precious promises.) ???????? Everyone needs encouragement. Giving it may require rendering personal help or expressing appreciation. ???????? Often it involves assisting someone to see how to cope with a difficult situation or discussing reasons for confidence in a better future. ???????? The Bible provides the finest basis for such encouragement, and the texts quoted below can be helpful in giving it to persons faced with various situations. At times much good is done by simply displaying a sympathetic attitude.—Rom. 12:15.Â
  7. Reasons Why Jehovah’s Witnesses Do Not Celebrate Halloween - ?? ? ?? Long but educational - ????? Some might argue that the origin of Halloween celebrations is of little consequence despite the fact that these celebrations are undeniably pagan in origin. But how should Christians view Halloween if they truly wish to worship and please God as best they can? Would even limited participation in the celebration meet with God's disapproval? The following will assist in determining the answers to these questions. Halloween's Pagan Origin "Its name means hallowed or holy evening." - The World Book Encyclopedia, 1952, Vol. 8, pp. 3245-6. To really understand this "holy evening" you must realize that Halloween, as we know it today, has grown from several different sources. The main source has been traced back to religious ceremonies of the ancient Babylonians. - The New Golden Bough, Sir James Frazer, edited by Dr. T. H. Gaster, p. 468, Mentor Book, 1964; and Funk and Wagnalls Standard Dictionary of Folklore, Mythology, and Legend, 1949, p. 38. - From Babylon, this pagan religious celebration spread throughout much of the world. The Druids of ancient Britain also borrowed this Babylonian festival and celebrated it to honor Samhain, Lord of the Dead, whose festival fell on November 1. - Halloween Through the Centuries, Linton, p. 4. They believed this pagan god called together "certain wicked souls on Halloween" - Encyclopedia Britannica, 14th ed., Vol. 11, p. 103. PopoutIn honoring this pagan god, his supplicators hoped to be protected from these "wicked souls." Therefore, many of the things done in celebrating this "holy evening" are in honor of the false gods of the Druids. For example, "When you light a candle inside the jeering pumpkin face, you are in a small way imitating the Celtic Druids" who lit "great bonfires on hilltops to honor the sun god" and thereby help keep away winter and the evil spirits. - The Book ofHolidays, McSpadden, 1958 ed., pp. 149-153; and All About American Holidays, Krythe, 1962, pp. 214-215. Since the "Mother" Church (which was established in Rome about 200 years after the death of the last Apostle) embarked on a course of adopting and adapting pagan religious ceremonies into the Church, it is not surprising that elements of ancient Roman false worship were also added to the "Holy Evening"celebration. For example, "when you duck for apples ... you are doing as the Romans did - - honoring Pomona, the Roman goddess of orchards." - The Book of Holidays, pp. 149-153 andCollier's Encyclopedia, 1975, Vol. 2, p. 192. Although Halloween poses as a Christian holiday, it is exposed as a pagan feast. One dictionary describes "pagan" as: "One of a people or community observing a polytheistic religion." "Polytheistic" means "the worship of or belief in more than one god." True Christians should consider these things as serious because God views these things very seriously. (Lev. 19:2) God Himself said: "You must not have any other gods against my face. Because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion." (Ex. 20:1-5) NWT Yet some may wonder what harm could possibly come from letting children attend a costume party or simply participate in a superficial way. Yes, it is not Scripturally wrong for children to have a costume party or play games such as bobbing for apples. However, doing so as a part of Halloween would be celebrating that pagan religious feast. This would be compromising Christian principles. The Biblecondemns the whole idea of putting a Christian mask on a pagan practice. If pagan ceremonies, customs, god names, etc. are really mixed in with ceremonies, customs, etc. that we use today, they are not merely unacceptable - - - they are detestable to God. We must completely get away from these unclean things and not even "touch" them. (2 Cor. 6:17) Notice how exclusive the worship of God must be: "Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips." - Exodus 23:13, NIVSB. Also see: What Does the Bible Really Teach? - Take Your Stand for True Worship from the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (WBTS). Halloween and Witchcraft The real religion celebrated by the "Holy Evening" of Halloween is still a living religion. What is sometimes called "witchcraft" has had its ups and downs but is still practiced as a religion in nearly every country of the world. "It began in the shadowy darkness of man's early religion. It lived and flourished through the ages and it is by no means wiped out even yet. Witchcraft in the Middle Ages was the `art' of controlling natural forces by power obtained from the Devil. Witches were people who made agreements with the Evil One." -Britannica Jr., 1957 ed., Vol. 15, pp. 131-132. Whether deluded or not, these "witches" were (and are) making a public declaration: a demonstration of their faith and a defiance of the God of the Bible. They continued to practice their religion (in many different, varying sects) in spite of great persecution. This religion of the Middle Ages actually grew out of the earlier pagan Druid religion. "These rites did not die .... When a monk or knight swore that in a clearing of the woods he had seen witches dancing around the devil, he did not lie. What he saw was ... people worshiping with a priest of the heathen religion. The prayer meetings of the witches were called witches'Sabbaths. .... Two nights especially were set aside - October 31, called Halloween and the eve of May Day, called Walpurgis." - Britannica Jr., pp. 131-132. "Though the Church was able to destroy the temples and outward forms of worship of these heathen religions, it could not completely eradicate the faith and beliefs of their priests and worshipers. These found an outlet during the Middle Ages in witchcraft which was devoted to the worship ofSatan. This cult included periodic meetings, known as witches' sabbaths, which were given over to feasting and revelry. One of the most important sabbaths was held on Halloween." - Encyclopedia Britannica, 1956, Vol. 11, pp. 106-107. "The witches' sabbat [sabbath], or Black Mass, was a mockery of the religious one. It began with the assembly of the witches' covens, always at night, in forests, open fields, at crossroads, and even secretly in churches.... The name `sabbats' for these meetings is believed to have come from the Old HebrewSabbath - the seventh day." - A Cauldron of Witches, Alderman, 1973, p. 9. The Bible warns against the practice of spiritism. (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) The apostle Paul wrote: “I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.” (1 Corinthians 10:20-22, New International Version) He also asked: “What common interest can there be between goodness and evil? How can light and darkness share life together? How can there be harmony between Christ and the devil? What can a believer have in common with an unbeliever?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-16, Phillips) While it is true that the vast majority of those who celebrate Halloween would claim to reject Satanic practices, we should, nevertheless, be aware that historically this holiday has close connections with the occult. Therefore, celebrating Halloween can serve as a door leading to spiritism, especially for impressionable youths. Pagan rites and traditions tainted by spiritism simply have no place in Christian worship; they are far from harmless. (Also see: Dabbling in the Occult—What's the Harm? and What You Should Know About Witchcraft from the WBTS.) Halloween - Based on Unscriptural Beliefs Finally, Halloween, All SaintsÂ’ Day, and All SoulsÂ’ Day are all based on the beliefs that the dead suffer or that they can somehow bring harm to the living. However, the Bible clearly shows that such beliefs are not true, saying: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for thedead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5) For that reason, the Bible counsels: “All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol [the common grave of mankind], the place to which you are going.” (Ecclesiastes 9:10) Since the dead are unconscious and thus incapable of harming others or suffering themselves, we have nothing to fear from them. At the same time, prayers to help them are of no use whatsoever. But this does not mean that there is no hope for our dead loved ones because the Bible assures us that “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) (Also see: The Bible's Viewpoint - What Happens at Death? from the WBTS.) Should You Celebrate Halloween? Clearly, God would not approve of any ceremonies or customs that have any pagan associations. The Bible also warns us about the practice of spiritism - of which Halloween historically has close connections with. And finally, Halloween is based on beliefs that run completely contrary to what the Bible teaches. So when it comes to celebrating Halloween - especially after considering what you have just read - what will you decide? - Contributed
  8. "All your works will glorify you, O Jehovah, And your loyal ones will praise you. They will proclaim the glory of your kingship. And speak about your mightiness." (Ps 145:10,11) ???????? May Jehovah Bless You as You Praise Him. Jehovah Is Great in Loyal Love“Jehovah is . . . great in loving-kindness.”—PSALM 145:8. ???????? Let us therefore keep our thoughts centered on the grand future that awaits all of JehovahÂ’s loyal ones. By doing so, we have the wonderful prospect of being included among those who will exalt, bless, and praise Jehovah “all day long” and “even forever.” (Psalm 145:1, 2) May we therefore ‘keep ourselves in GodÂ’s love with everlasting life in view.Â’ (Jude 20, 21) As we continue to benefit from our heavenly FatherÂ’s marvelous qualities, including the great loving-kindness he displays toward those who love him, may our sentiments always be like those expressed by David in the final words of Psalm 145: “The praise of Jehovah my mouth will speak; and let all flesh bless his holy name to time indefinite, even forever.” ???????? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2004044?q=ps+145%3A10%2C11&p=par#h=29 Â

  11. NOAH DID JUST SO! - ARE WE THAT OBEDIENT? ?????????? MOST of us remember occasions when we heard important news. We remember details—not only where we were and what we were doing but also how we reacted. No doubt, Noah never forgot the day he received news from Jehovah God that he was determined to bring to ruin “all flesh” by means of a Great Deluge. Noah was to build a gigantic ark for the preservation of him, his family, and animals of every kind. How did Noah respond? The Bible tells us: “Noah proceeded to do according to all that God had commanded him. He did just so.” Noah was obedient. This is a very important point, for that statement explains in part why Noah found favor in GodÂ’s eyes; Noah was willing to do what God asked him to do. We must be like Noah to survive when God again cleanses the earth of all wickedness. - Genesis 6:9. Â
  12. Philippines Scene of the tragedy in tacloban now houses Bible translation offices Photo: the new structures built by the members of jw on land where hundreds of bodies were swept away by the storm wave at the height of " Yolanda." Tacloban city - what used to be the tomb for hundreds of bodies swept by the storm wave of supertyphoon "Yolanda" (International Name: Haiyan) is now an extensive ground for the message of life. The lot of 3.800 square meters in barangay 77 Fatima here, where the bodies were razed by Yolanda on November 8, 2013, was transformed by Jehovah's witnesses (Jws) into his remote translation office (RTO) where the Bible and Bible-based publications are translated into waray-Waray. The Complex has 13 translation offices, sound recording room, dining room, laundry and 14 rooms that can accommodate 19 translators who have given up their professional fees to work eight hours, five days a week , said Dean Jacek, spokesman for the watchtower bible and tract society of the Philippines, the legal and corporate arm of jws in the country. He said that the 16 internal translators and three other translators, who travel daily from their homes, were unpaid volunteers who spent time and effort to ensure that biblical literature could easily be understood by ordinary people. The rto began operating on January 22, 2016, but was open to the public for the first time this year, according to jacek. Since last year, the team had translated more than 100 books, brochures and magazines in English which were distributed to the public for free, he said. They are also available for free download on jw.org, the official website of the JW, added. One of the most popular titles produced by the rto was "Konan usa imga hinigugma namatay", which jacek said was very useful to the survivors of Yolanda. Jacek admitted, however, that translating English into waray was a challenge. Very specific "tends to be more specific than English, which has a wider range of meanings", he said. He also mentioned differences in regional languages. Since there were four provinces that spoke waray-Waray, what was understood in some areas could be misunderstood or even not understood in other areas, said said. Since the facility is primarily directed by volunteers, several survivors of Yolanda, whose houses were rebuilt by Jehovah's witnesses after Yolanda, have been made available to work in the rto without paying. http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/933340/scene-of-tragedy-in-tacloban-now-hosts-bible-translation-offices
  13. Behold the Doer of Wonderful Things! Joshua 3:5 5 Joshua now said to the people: “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow Jehovah will do wonderful things among you.” ??????? Jehovah brought plagues on ancient Egypt and then parted the Red Sea so that Moses could lead the ancient Israelites to freedom. (Exodus 7:1–14:31;Psalm 106:7, 21, 22) There is a similar event related in Joshua chapter 3. Joshua, Moses’ successor, was to lead God’s people across another body of water and into the Promised Land. Joshua said: “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow Jehovah will do wonderful things in your midst.” (Joshua 3:5) What wonderful things? ?????? Well, the account shows that Jehovah opened a watery barrier, the Jordan River, so that many thousands of men, women, and children could pass over on dry ground. (Joshua 3:7-17) If we had been there watching the river open and all those people cross safely, we would have been struck by how wonderful an accomplishment this was! It displayed God’s power over creation. Yet, right now—in our lifetime—there are things comparably wonderful. To see what some of these are and why we should give them attention, consider Job 37:5-7. 5 God thunders with his voice in a wonderful way; He does great things that are beyond our understanding. 6 For he says to the snow, ‘Fall to the earth,’ And to the downpour of rain, ‘Pour down mightily.’ 7 God puts a stop to all human activity So that every mortal man will know His work." ?????? Should not our sense of wonder over God’s grand works move us to speak of him, of what he has done, and of what he will yet do? The answer is obvious—we should “declare among the nations his glory, among all the peoples his wonderful works.” (Psalm 96:3-5) Yes, we can manifest our humble appreciation for the wonderful works of God by sharing with others what we have learned about him. Even if they grew up in a society that dismissed the Creator, our positive, informative expressions may awaken them to recognize God. More than that, it may move them to want to learn of and serve the one who “created all things,” the Doer of wonderful works, Jehovah. ?????? 15. Jehovah Values You ?❤️? Jeremiah 31:3 3 From far away Jehovah appeared to me and said: “I have loved you with an everlasting love. That is why I have drawn you to me with loyal love." Nothing Can “Separate Us From God’s Love” Jehovah Values You ?❤️? The Bible directly teaches that God sees worth in each of his servants. For example, Jesus said: “Do not two sparrows sell for a coin of small value? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore have no fear: you are worth more than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:29-31) ?❤️? Now we may begin to see Jesus’ point. If Jehovah places such value on a single sparrow, of how much greater worth is a human! As Jesus explained, Jehovah knows every detail about us. Why, the very hairs of our head are numbered! ?❤️? Our hairs numbered? Some might assume that Jesus was being unrealistic here. Just think, though, about the hope of the resurrection. How intimately Jehovah must know us in order to re-create us! He values us so much that he remembers every detail, including our genetic code and all our years of memories and experiences.* Numbering our hairs—of which the average head grows about 100,000—would be a simple feat by comparison. ?❤️? What are some good works that Jehovah values? Certainly our efforts to imitate his Son, Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:21) One vital work that God values is the spreading of the good news of his Kingdom. At Romans 10:15, we read: “How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!” We may not normally think of our lowly feet as being “comely,” or beautiful. But here they represent the efforts Jehovah’s servants make in preaching the good news. All such efforts are beautiful and precious in his eyes.—Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20. ?❤️? 16. “Praise Jah!”—Why? “Praise Jah! . . . How pleasant and fitting it is to praise him!”—PSALM 147:1. ????? The psalmist looked at the sky and said that Jehovah “counts the number of the stars” and “calls all of themby name.” (Psalm 147:4) The psalmist could see the stars, but he had no idea of how many there really are. ????? Today, scientists know that there are billions of stars in our galaxy. And there may be trillions of galaxies in the universe! Humans cannot count all the stars, but the Creator can. In fact, he knows each star so well that he has given each one a name. (1 Corinthians 15:41) ????? The God who knows where each star is also knows you. He always knows exactly where you are, how you feel, and what you need! ????? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/402017486?q=he+knows+them+by+name&p=par

  18. Bolivia, Contributions Decline Letter to all Congregations of Bolivia: To all Congregations ?????? Subject: donations for world labour Dear Brothers, With this letter we want to point out something that concerns us. This is the sum of donations for the global work donated by the bolivian assemblies during this year, which has declined compared to previous years. One of the reasons for this decline is that the brothers don't plan their donations in advance, something that needs a change. In view of this, we want to ask you to help us implement a change: Take the opportunity to present a 2-minute demonstration in the local needs of the week of 16 October 2017, where a married couple talks about the importance of planning donations. Not to mention figures, they consider their household income, expenses and unexpected costs. Finally, they decide to donate "this amount" to the world play. In the same programming period, 3 minutes are used to explain the nature of voluntary donations: (a) should be planned and planned as planned (1 CO. 16: 2 a) (b) should be proportional to income (1 Corinthians 16: 2 B). Although a Christian earns little, the Lord estimates a small donation (Luke 21: 1-4). (C) they should come from the heart and be given joyfully (2 COR 9: 7).
  19. Newsletter Newsletter Last minute news | more information about Puerto Rico after the passage of hurricane Maria For today, 25 September 2017, information is already available from 15 of the 19 circuit superintendents serving in Puerto Rico. It was reported that there was only one person injured because of hurricane Maria. We are still waiting for news of the four circuit superintendents on the west side of the island as it has not been possible to communicate with them. Nearby circuit brothers have achieved motorcycles and SUV vehicles to visit the west area and learn more. We continue to pray for our brothers (Santiago 5:16). ??????
