It was a crisp fall day in the Pacific Northwest as Paul contemplated his new life while chomping down on a Washington apple. He had quit his job at Amazon and was deciding where to go next. With nothing more than his flannel shirt, jeans, jacket and an iphone he had decided to start over. The fact that he had just inherited his father's wealth made him wonder how he should spend his time. He decided to go to bar, have a drink and think about things before launching.
None of the material things of this world meant anything to him now that the gravitational secrets of the universe were at his disposal. His spherical ship was minimalist yet unimaginably powerful in ways that most humans will never understand at least for the next million years or so.
