For the 8,000 believers on the peninsula, who have professed their religion freely for decades, this news was completely unexpected. These 22 local religious organizations of Jehovah's Witnesses in the republic of Crimea were registered on the initiative of Russian authorities in May 2015. Since then they have not received from the state any charges, fines, or warnings. Therefore they are extremely perplexed with regard to the initiative of the Ministry of Justice to ban them and to recognize them as extremist. Most disturbing is that the Ministry of Justice considered it possible to declare all these organizations outside the law—behind their back and without involving them in the case. The plaintiff's declaration—with much delay—was sent only to the Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia. For this reason, 22 Crimean local religious organizations filed in the Supreme Court a petition for involving them in the case in the capacity of an administrative co-defendant. They recall that in the Russian federation the right to judicial protection is among the basic inalienable rights. There was no announcement about posting on Social Media at Bethel morning worship in New York neither today nor yesterday. Perhaps they did in Russia would make sense but Internationally we WANT attention given about this event which is the entire reason for the letter writing campaign in the first place. Opposers of course would not want this publicized since it obviously shows that only Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion since it is only JW.ORG that was banned and only JW's are currently under threat of that as well. No other religion is currently under consideration for banning. Check out "Russia Religion News" for all news related to Religious repression under former Soviet bloc nations. About 85% of the material is on Jehovah's Witnesses and the persecution that they are getting. Other Christian and Muslim groups are also being affected but ONLY the Jehovah's Witnesses are threatened with banning the entire religion in Russia. No matter the outcome in Russia this will be a major Witness to the world and many right - hearted ones will see it for what it is that the True Religion is being targeted as the Bible says it would be. Consider the "baseless" claims of why they consider us "extremist"? Don't you think how that will affect peoples attitude about the Witnesses and the possible King of the North's attack on true worship both just before and during the Great Tribulation. For example "photos", "photos Bible Student", "photos Russell" and so forth. None of the photos I have to sell are originals however only reproductions.

A definition may mean one thing to one person and something else to another. What I offer are facsimiles or reproductions taken directly from the item such as a photocopy would be. A replica would not be a "photocopy" of the original item but something someone made up to look like the original = replication. Therefore a replication can be altered in the sense that anyone can put whatever they want into it whereas a photocopy of the original would be exactly that without any alteration. I do not sell or deal with the "apostate" versions of the "Studies in the Scriptures" which you can tell because they were printed not in Brooklyn but East Rutherford , N.J. Whether they have been altered is not of my concern as I do not care since they do not come from the original publishers.

They are facsimiles of Septuagint and Dead Sea Scrolls that were produced by the Israeli Antiquities Authority who currently own the original Scrolls.

Interestingly according to Josephus and other first Century historians the primary reason the Roman Armies came into Jerusalem and its temple was because of groups of religious extremists that they were pursuing. The extremist went to the temple thinking that was a sanctuary or safe place that the Romans would dare not enter. However the Romans were fed - up with all the violence [sedition] and attacked the temple. The extremist said no way and actually started the fires that led to its ultimate destruction - the Romans never intended to destroy the Temple as they wanted it for themselves of course. And most of the Jews were law abiding religious people who were just minding themselves but were "caught in" the place of destruction { except the Jewish Christians who obeyed Jesus words and left}. Notice any similarities today especially since 911? No wonder the Bible says "get out of her my people". Notice also the "legal" reasons why a nation or nations [democracies] that have laws as did the Romans to not interfere in religions can easily be changed?

I like watching it on dvd from ebay on a big screen tv better. Notice how Russell says the name Jehovah right in the very beginning slide.

I have one on DVD that seems much better quality than the ones on youtube but I didnt think you could download a video from youtube, how does one do that?

Interestingly that "World" article about the Bible Students and 1914 is sold as a reproduction on ebay!!! So you can see most of that article for yourself. The sellers who are Witnesses have the ebay designation "lisa.joeywit" or "Watchtower Historical Items and Research Publications". They have an amazing collection over 800 of stuff including replicas of artifacts from the Dead Sea Scrolls and Septuagint with the tetragrammaton on it.
