  1. There was alcohol abuse when I was staying at the COBEs house for the summer prior (prior to when I finally told on all the stuff). He drank alcohol starting first thing in the morning sometimes. His "study" looked like a college dorm room with all the empty liquor bottles. When I hung out with him that summer, I started to drink more too. But when I started to realize what was happening, he was acting sketchy, not like a "dad", so I cut off association with him and wouldn't let him around my kids either. Then I told on the other stuff that happened before, and that's when everybody got all mad at me. My husband got arrested for domestic assault, the elders wouldn't talk to me, the "friends" abandoned us. The kids and I went to another KH over Zoom for awhile, then switched to ASL. Finally the elders told us we had to go back to English because Bethel told them (I had sent copies of everything to Bethel because I thought they would help us). Then they disfellowshipped me for "reviling and causing divisions" for telling the truth.
  2. I had just recently moved to Maine and was staying with my mom. After I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses, since she was disfellowshipped, I was under the impression it wasn't appropriate to live with her anymore. I moved in with another sister in the congregation, we both worked as waitresses at Denny's (I also did some temp work. There aren't really a lot of archaeology jobs in this part of Maine.) The sister I was living with had a little girl. When I would come home from work, the little girl was locked in her room and the mom was upstairs smoking marijuana with the neighbors. It wasn't a good situation. Eventually she was disfellowshipped and her daughter lived with her aunt. The PO/COBE used to come into Denny's almost every night and sit at the counter and get coffee after coffee. He and his wife said they thought I needed parents. They were not my Bible study conductors. I studied with an older pioneer sister whose son sold vitamins and herbal remedies for work. When I described the "Abba! Father!" thing (being anointed) she wanted me to take "herbal remedies" and she told the PO what she thought. After I moved in with them, they told me to read books about certain psychology diagnoses and took me to a psych doctor they knew. They talked to him, and I repeated what I had been groomed to tell. The drugs made me sedated and have other side effects. I didn't want to take them, but the PO/COBE and his wife told me they would kick me out if I didn't listen. I had no where to go.
  3. When I first read Rose Ball's experience, it totally creeped me out. My experience is not the same as hers, but certain parts reminded me of it.
  4. I think that made it worse, when I finally told, the entire JW community that I knew shunned me (this was way before they disfellowshipped me) and said how evil I am for not being more grateful to the COBE. I got quite a few hateful emails from people. The elders said "it's just corporal punishment" about some of the stuff, even though he admitted to it.
  5. In order to get it "reversed" since I didn't have the money to get a lawyer, my real mom and I went to the local courthouse and I got "adopted" again by my real mom. But I didn't know how else to "reverse" it and at the time the entire congregation was still supporting the COBE and my husband (who was not allowed home by the State because of the assault). He and the congregation think the culty way of doing things is proper, and they were mad when I didn't agree.
  6. That's not what I was told by the men in authority when I first came "in the truth." Wanna hear how "culty" it was? I was 24 years old. I had been in the "truth" for about six months. I was anointed. The COBE (called PO back then) said it wasn't possible (after all, I was too young, too new, and a woman) so it couldn't be possible from his point of view. He said "you must be crazy" and spouting psychology theory (he is not a doctor or professor of any kind - he was a window washer). My real mom was disfellowshipped. They didn't say "you can hang out with her". This is what happened... He (the PO) said I needed "a father". He and the CO said I should be adopted so I could live with him and his wife at their house and nobody would say anything about it because it was legal. I was dumb and thought they represented God. Since I knew the scriptures were true but I thought they knew more than I did, I submitted to the "adult adoption". I think it cost him $70. My mom and dad were still alive at the time. Shortly after he spouted more psychology theory and said "you need to be medicated". I think I already told you before what happened when I flushed the drugs. I was a fool. I can't go back and change that, but when I finally told on some of the stuff that happened, that COBE tried to get custody of my kids by making fraudulent calls to DHHS. Those men don't represent Jehovah. They act like a cult. (I got the "adult adoption" reversed during the time when he was trying to get my kids. And I apologized to my mom. My real dad died over a decade ago. I didn't get to apologize to him in time.) I could tell you more about how culty it is, but I don't feel like it right now. It makes me sick.

  8. You need ask yourself that very question. I did, but unfortunately not until around the time I was wrongly "disfellowshipped". Prior to that time, I supported the ungodly disfellowshipping doctrine and shunned my own mother for almost two decades. That conduct of following the manmade GB doctrine stumbled my brothers and sisters so that they didn't want to learn anything about Jehovah. Even so-called "worldly" people can see how antiChrist disfellowshipping is. I can't go back and undo the damage I did. I could only apologize for my bad conduct. My mom was "reinstated" a few years ago, and even then I treated her as if she was some kind of recovering leper. I am ashamed of myself for treating her that way. She missed out on the time with her grandkids. I wish I had never listened to the COBE and his wife and the CO who gave me certain "advice". I wish I had never listened to the GB and all their crack-talk with their wicked disfellowshipping doctrine. I hate it. It was my own decision to shun. Like I said, I can't go back. But I can do my best to tell the truth now. And the truth is Jehovah hates the disfellowshipping doctrine because it misrepresents Him, just like the hellfire doctrine and the other false doctrines. Aren't we all? Jehovah is the greatest artist. Jesus used illustrations from Jehovah all the time. If anybody has "copy rights" it's Jehovah! I'm not very good, but here are some things I've tried to paint... When one of my friends from the Kingdom Hall lost two babies (first to miscarriage, second stillborn) I did this one as a resurrection scene... This one is my little goat Cecilly that we used to have... This one was a gift for my sister in the Kingdom Hall, her son fell in the local river and drowned a few years ago, it was awful - her other son lived. The one that passed away loved dinosaurs... This was my favorite hen, Henrietta, for my son... This one was for my daughter... And another hen one in my room... (Sorry if the glass made it hard to get a clear picture on that one...) Are you an artist? That's what a lot of people say when Jehovah's witnesses try to talk to them about the Bible...🤭 I think it would be difficult to make an accurate pie chart as to what percentage is what. Suffice to say there are some issues! Jesus' illustrated it like this: weeds sown among the wheat; a little leaven fermenting the entire lump of dough; a mustard seed that eventually all the birds come hang out on (who wants birds on the mustard tree?) "Babylon the Great has fallen, and she has become a dwelling place of demons and a place where every unclean spirit and every unclean and hated bird lurks! For because of the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, all the nations have fallen victim, and the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth became rich owing to the power of her shameless luxury.” Some parts of Babylon the Great have grown along with the wheat in the Jehovah's Witnesses organization, just like in the rest of Christendom. People in the org have come out of all different religions. But there is still leaven everywhere. The weeds are all over the place. Jesus will remove them after the great tribulation starts. Jehovah's name will be sanctified. And all the little sheep everywhere will be brought together in refined worship. Jesus used what was on hand to do miracles. He used the dust to make a paste to heal the blind. He used the few fishes and few loaves to feed the masses. He will use what he has on hand for the basis of the organization that will get through the great tribulation. But it has to be refined first. The Bible says it will be. Praise Jehovah. Only a miracle could heal that org. They will have to know it isn't men doing the saving. Our God is known for His miraculous works. We will see Him do more miraculous works than the plagues of Egypt and the Red Sea. Just like he healed Lazarus after Lazarus was dead several days and starting to rot, so he can heal the Christian congregation and make it one united people for God's name. Yeah, we're not even on the feet yet!
  9. @TrueTomHarley The GB has taught most of Jehovah's Witnesses to act like the Prince in the movie "Ever After", who said the following in the dialogue that takes place after the above clip... "PRINCE: I confess, the plight of the everyday rustic bores me. DANIELLE: I gather you do not converse with many peasants. PRINCE: (chuckles) Certainly not, no! Naturally. DANIELLE: Excuse me, Sire, but there is nothing natural about it. A country's character is defined by its everyday rustics, as you call them. They are the legs you stand on. That position demands respect, not... PRINCE: Am I to understand that you find me arrogant? DANIELLE: Well, you gave one man back his life... ...but did you even glance at the others?" "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all—this is what is to be witnessed to in its own due time. For the purpose of this witness I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—a teacher of nations in the matter of faith and truth." (1 Timothy 2:5-7) "That is why the Kingdom of the heavens may be likened to a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves. When he started to settle them, a man was brought in who owed him 10,000 talents. But because he did not have the means to pay it back, his master ordered him and his wife and his children and all the things he owned to be sold and payment to be made. So the slave fell down and did obeisance to him, saying, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay back everything to you.’ Moved with pity at this, the master of that slave let him off and canceled his debt. But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves, who owed him 100 de·narʹi·i, and grabbed him and began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay back whatever you owe.’ So his fellow slave fell down and began to beg him, saying, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’ However, he was not willing, but he went and had him thrown into prison until he could pay back what he owed. When his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they became greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their master all the things that had happened. Then his master summoned him and said to him: ‘Wicked slave, I canceled all that debt for you when you pleaded with me. Should you not also have shown mercy to your fellow slave as I showed mercy to you?’ With that his master, provoked to wrath, handed him over to the jailers until he repaid all that he owed. My heavenly Father will also deal with you in the same way if each of you does not forgive your brother from your heart." There is no "committee" that stands between you and who you choose to shun. Jesus ransom is enough to show mercy. He is the King, not the GB or a body of elders. Jesus already paid. It is not proper to treat those who have been "freed" by the King as if they are still slaves. "Nevertheless, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those who are not really gods. But now that you have come to know God or, rather, have come to be known by God, how is it that you are turning back again to the weak and beggarly elementary things and want to slave for them over again?" Whoever you obey as a slave is your master. "Slave for the master, Christ." Love is the Kingly Law of the Christ.
  10. @TrueTomHarley I know you have love. How much time did you spend writing letters to Russia? How much time did you spend doing research so as to properly understand what our brothers there were going through? Why did you do that? I already know why - you told me - it was a labor of love. If you are willing to go through so much effort to help those who are wrongly imprisoned overseas, why are you not willing to consider that there are some who have been wrongly "imprisoned" by means of a false doctrine from within the organization who also are deserving of your affection and love? The GB is the same as Putin in that regard, of mislabeling people and then treating them as "criminals" when it is not appropriate. You can see that when it comes to what is going on in Russia, but why can't you see that with the disfellowshipping doctrine? Is it because of the prejudice that comes from listening to the GB? That's what it was for some of the Christians who followed Pharisaical Christians. They made divisions where divisions didn't belong, and rules where rules didn't belong, because they were prejudiced against people who they perceived as different, or who had a label. They made commentaries about the Bible and then commentaries about the commentaries. It's the same thing the Pharisaical Jews did with the Hebrew Scriptures...eventually they followed the "commentaries" more than the Word of God. It's the same today. People follow the "commentaries of the commentaries", namely, the elder book, the Watchtower, the Insight book, more than they follow the Word of God. "You have made the Word of God invalid by your traditions." "Go, then, and learn what this means: ‘I want mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came to call, not righteous people, but sinners." "Stop calling defiled the things God has cleansed." The GB teaches like the Pharisees. They have made the Word of God invalid by their traditions. They call people who have been redeemed by the ransom "too defiled to eat with and talk to." Jesus is not pleased with the sacrifices of such Pharisaical ones. The ransom is enough for repentant sinners. There is no scriptural precedent for a three person judicial committee, or extended "shunning" beyond the time a person makes a change in their behavior, or "disfellowshipping" someone who tells the truth and keeps their integrity. "You are much mistaken." I know you have love, and faith. But it's time to "widen out" in your brotherly affections. The Lord is near.
  11. No, I used to. I switched to tea, but I do prefer the taste of coffee. It was more for health reasons I had to cut back on the caffeine. I still enjoy a coffee ice cream from time to time. I hope you enjoy your coffee today!☕️😊🫶🌷
  12. @seeknontruther101 Hi! 😍🥰 Enjoy your coffee! I have to go do some stuff for now...Talk to you later! 😘 "All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. Here is my greeting, Paul’s, in my own hand. If anyone has no affection for the Lord, let him be accursed. O our Lord, come! May the undeserved kindness of the Lord Jesus be with you. May my love be with all of you in union with Christ Jesus."
  13. "The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness who is never unjust; Righteous and upright is he." (Deuteronomy 32:4) He IS the Rock! 😁
  14. "As they were walking along, speaking as they walked, suddenly a fiery chariot and fiery horses made a separation between the two of them, and E·liʹjah ascended to the heavens in the windstorm." (2 Kings 2:11) "After he had said these things, while they were looking on, he was lifted up and a cloud caught him up from their sight. And as they were gazing into the sky while he was on his way, suddenly two men in white garments stood beside them and said: “Men of Galʹi·lee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus who was taken up from you into the sky will come in the same manner as you have seen him going into the sky." (Acts 1:9-11) (Jehovah's made people "fly" in the past without a helicopter or a plane. He's going to do it again at the appointed time. It's no big deal for Him.☺️)
  15. (Perhaps someday in the future you'll get to do something like this...😁) "All things are possible with God." 🥰
  16. Jesus resolutely trashes those things - the leaven of the Pharisees, the false doctrine of FDS/GB-Benefactorworship, and the satanic, antiChrist so-called "discipline" of the disfellowshipping doctrine. He is coming to trash them completely in the very near future. Will you shun Jesus too? The Bible is God's Word, and at present many Jehovah's Witnesses are on the opposite side of Jesus' clear teachings. They should not be content with all of what the GB is teaching them, because a lot of what the GB teaches apostatizes from God's Word. You "can live with that", true, if the "people" you disagree with are just nobodies like me, perhaps...but what if the "people" you disagree with are Jehovah and Jesus? The Kingly Law of Love is not optional. It's a command. If you choose to continue disagreeing with that Law, it will not go well for you. "Insight slows down anger." I have learned that sometimes crazy "abusive" types like the MoiseRacette and boyle characters are just coping with some issues and don't know what they're doing, or they're just fooling around. I prefer their company to some who strain out the gnat but gulp down the camel, claiming to be holy and close to God yet disobeying Christ's clear command that is so simple a kid could follow it: Love Your Neighbor. If the MoiseRacette and boyle characters were real, I am convinced that they would stop and pick up a beat-up person on the side of the road, because the person behind the puppets showed mercy at times during the discussions, which is more than I can say for those who kept walking on by during truly abusive situations, people who you strive to imitate and would consider to be in "good standing" as Jehovah's Witnesses, including your GB idols and Bethel branch people. Today's Watchtower is all about how loving "Jehovah's Witnesses" are, superior in love to those labeled non-"Jehovah's Witnesses". The Daily Text was all about how important it is to go to meetings because people there care about you and want to be your friends, unlike those labeled non-"Jehovah's Witnesses." While there are sincere loving Jehovah's Witnesses, any one of Jehovah's Witnesses who follows the disfellowshipping doctrine as taught by the GB is antiChrist and unloving. For them to say "we are the most loving people on earth - everyone else is less loving than us" is the pot calling the kettle black. "In reply he said to them: “Why do you overstep the commandment of God because of your tradition? For example, God said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Let the one who speaks abusively of his father or mother be put to death.’ But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother: “Whatever I have that could benefit you is a gift dedicated to God,” he need not honor his father at all.’ So you have made the word of God invalid because of your tradition. You hypocrites, Isaiah aptly prophesied about you when he said: ‘This people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshipping me, for they teach commands of men as doctrines.’” Jesus loves you, @TrueTomHarley @Anna @Arauna @JW Insider that is why he disciplines you. There is a lot of dross in the organization that needs to be cleaned off, and he wants you to help comfort others in the days ahead. But you have to wake up and put on your clothes first and stop walking around naked. @Pudgy and @Srecko Sostar are already awake. When the tribulation hits, they will know what to do. They already know what it means to show impartial love.
  17. https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/delhi-minor-stabbed-murder-people-indifferent-police-rohini-shahbad-dairy-2386114-2023-05-29 "A man killed a 16-year-old girl by repeatedly stabbing and bludgeoning her in full public view. A CCTV footage of the crime, which has gone viral, sends shivers down the spine. But what is equally chilling is the indifference of the passers-by who didn't intervene." (Can you imagine if she was known to be "disfellowshipped" and the people walking by were Jehovah's Witnesses...do you think they would intervene?) I know @Pudgy would intervene. "He who is faithful in least is faithful in much." If you saw "abusive behavior", @TrueTomHarley, enough to note it and to think it merited the administrator removing the abusive person, why did you not think to comfort the "victim"? "He who is unrighteous in what is least is unrighteous in what is much." That is why the "tax collectors and prostitutes and sinners" and disfellowshipped people who know how to show kindness with impartiality are going ahead of you into the Kingdom.
