  1. Jesus and his disciples ate the bread on the 14th of the month Nisan which is one day before of the 15th of Nisan and the celebration of the unleavened bread (Leviticus 23:6).
  2. Wow I was born in 1975, It was a great privilege to have you spoken to me even from the Internet. It was my dream one day to go to other lands as a missionary (Gilead). I remember I was sneaking to my grandpa's library just to read past articles from the ""purposing my purpose in life". Thank you for your honesty brother and sister. Yes things like this ( NGO involvement ) shook my faith to the watchtower... because I hate double standards... while we forgive and forget the mistakes of the Society but we cannot forgive our brothers who come and ask for forgiveness. Watchtower made us impose rules that Jehovah never asked. We have our repented brothers in the back of the room for many months even for years to prove what? that they are not proud? can the Society prove that is not proud? I am coming here and make this questions because I feel that the wrath of Jehovah against the Society becomes bigger and bigger. The Watchtower Society became a stumble many times now for the little sheep of Christ. It is time for this impunity to come to an end! Do you love my little sheep ? I ask you again: do you love my little sheep ? I will ask you again and again till you will not send back to the mouth of Satan my little sheep !
  3. Hopefully I can still write to this question. thank you Admins. 1.Dear brother Colin Thorpe, I would prefer if you yourself could make some research and not let it to the others. If you don't still drink milk ... prove it ! 2.Dear Eoin Joyce, before you talk about Haman, Please read "The Guardian" of October 8 of 2001 page 13. also please read the pages 142 to 160 from the book "Jehovah Himself Has Become King". (but read it !) there you will read that Jehovah’s Witnesses in France independently published a brochure entitled “A Mission to Africa.” In it they explained in detail the activities of the Aidafrique NGO. On pages 9-10 we read: "The best form of travel, if not the only one, is the airplane. Often we used the H.C.R.’s (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) planes". Also please read the public statement the watchtower made. Also read the public statement UN made. (http://ask.un.org/loader.php?fid=714&type=1&key=98fd5be823c972e94733f7fd50f6088d) Dear Eoin Joyce, Paul did not use the name of Stoic poet Aratus to make advertisement for him, neither he was member of his philosophy group as the watchtower was a member of UN-NGO for almost a decade until the Guardian told us what was happening. This is what the statement of UN says: that the NGO share the ideals of the UN Charter; have a demonstrated interest in United Nations issues and a proven ability to reach target or specialized audiences, such as educators, media representatives, policy makers and the business community; have the commitment and means to conduct effective information programs about UN activities by publishing newsletters, bulletins and pamphlets, organizing conferences, seminars and round tables; and enlisting cooperation of the media. 3.Dearest Librarian I read your link and everything you say is beautiful ... about a brother who made a mistake and all that... but can you prove anything of what you say?
  4. According to Robert King and his book "Jehovah Himself Has Become King" from page 142 till page 160 we have a detailed list of watchtower publications that promote UN. I will give you an example: Awake! July 22 1999 the Governing Body tells us that 1999 is the international year of older Persons. 1994 also just so happened to be the UN’s “International Year of the Family” (Watchtower Magazine 9-15-95). 1995 was to be the UN “Year of Tolerance”. (Watchtower Magazine 10-1-95). The year 1998 was the UN-declared “International Year of the Ocean,” (June 8, 1998, Awake!). The year 2001 was designated by the United Nations as the “International Year of Volunteers.”(January 1, 2001, Watchtower). My question is: who should the organization be advertising, the UN or the Kingdom of God? If they were advertising the UN isn't that spiritual fornication? and what is the punishment for that!
  5. And now just remembered that I never saw brothers with beard in the watchtower publication .... isn't that weird if they didn't forbid it ?
  6. Dear Melinda mills thanks for the sexual education (and the exegesis on porneia), but the two women made nothing of that! They did not have oral sex, they did not have anal sex, they did not masturbate each other. Elders forbid this brother (the victim) to talk anymore about his problem and they showed him that no matter what he does he cannot remarry ... and they prove that from the watchtower magazine: "While both homosexuality and bestiality are disgusting perversions, in the case of neither one is the marriage tie broken." Watchtower 1972 Jan 1 p.32. since you are a woman imagine your husband to have sex with the dog (bestiality) and you not to have the right to remarry ! my question still stands !
  7. I thought beard is forbidden everywhere so I really don't understand this unscriptural rules... so what? Greece is not part of Europe ... or have different culture from the west? or this about Russel Idolatry is a joke excuse ? or we follow unwritten traditions of men ? ... my question still stands !
  8. thank you for your reference on Watchtower magazine but as I already told you "the women just lying down naked". In Greek this is not porneia (porneeah) ... except if Americans know more good Greek than Greeks. my question still stands !
  9. So what a brother from Greece can make in order to have beard and at the same time not to have consequence from the elders? I tried once to bring up the matter (when they told me about Russel) and they started saying that we must go some day in "the room" because I make so many questions !
  10. Look I was not present, this is what the brother say ( like if he was gossiping). He say he cannot scripturally divorce because no girl have instrument and thus there were no penetration and thus no divorce ! what can I say? personally I think lesbianism is porneia even without penetration, but elders say otherwise. I heard that in America is an "everyday" problem this with homosexual brothers and sisters. so I ask this question...
  11. Hi to all, I know a brother who caught his wife cheating on him with another woman (the cleaner of the house). His wife is a sister also but in a moment of weakness she went to bed with her servant lady. The brother caught them naked on bed kissing and brought some brothers to witness the event. Although he has witnesses and everything he cannot have a scriptural divorce to remarry. Because he don't want to see this woman in his lifetime again, the elders gave him two options if he wants to remarry: 1. to wait for his wife to die and then remarry or... 2. to wait for her to fornicate (porneia) with a man (although she is a lesbian now).
  12. Yes exactly. This is what I cannot understand. We can celebrate the birth of the child as a fact BUT NOT as the day. When it comes to marriage then is ok to celebrate it as a day and not as the fact that it happened. Because we don't celebrate it as the fact of marriage only once, but the day again and again every year and we call it anniversary.
  13. I am just a Jehovah's witness ... you have to ask a hypocrite Jehovah's witness to get your answer.
  14. I asked in the past and some elders told me that the beard is idolatry of pastor Russel - But mustache we can have because he didn't have.
  15. I cannot agree with you more brother. I say the same thing. I do not like celebrations... all of them .... but some people do like them ... do I have the authority to forbid them this joy? if yes then I must prove it from the scriptures.... and if I want to play God then is pure hypocrisy to allow them the first birthday celebration and after that no more !
  16. Is it scripturally correct to press the brothers in the congregation to remove all facial hair (beard) except the mustache?
  17. under the question Why do Jehovah's Witnesses not celebrate Valentine's Day? I read that: Jehovah's Witnesses only formally celebrate the one event that Jesus commanded his followers. The memorial of his death (1 Cor. 11:23-26). They also celebrate other events which are referred to favorably in the Scriptures such as marriages, anniversaries, the birth of a baby, graduations and many other happy occasions. But why don't Jehovah's Witnesses celebrate St. Valentine's Day? I want to ask why in my country is ok for Jehovah's witnesses to celebrate the 1 of May, as a "workers day"?
  18. under the question Why do Jehovah's Witnesses not celebrate Valentine's Day? I read that: Jehovah's Witnesses only formally celebrate the one event that Jesus commanded his followers. The memorial of his death (1 Cor. 11:23-26). They also celebrate other events which are referred to favorably in the Scriptures such as marriages, anniversaries, the birth of a baby, graduations and many other happy occasions. But why don't Jehovah's Witnesses celebrate St. Valentine's Day? What I don't understand here is that WE CAN celebrate the first birthdays of a child but WE CANNOT continue beyond that date in the following years.
