Faith and fear are great infectious words because they spread like epidemics, but you must be careful of what you listen to and those you associate with. Many people have allowed the faithless words of others to drive them into despair by which they end up being a failure. What is Faith? Faith is simply: F - future A - actions I - intended and expected T - to H - happen While fear is: F - fake E - experience A - appearing R - real Thus, a person with fear is known as a coward because "a coward dies ten times before their death". Here is a true story. ? A man started running down the street of his town screaming, "The dam has broken". Women shopping in the supermarket heard the scream and they dropped their grocery baskets and joined him; men in the barbershop and offices heard the mob and joined them; so also the police and the firemen. Soon the street was filled with people screaming, "The dam has broken!" One old man ran as fast and far as he could and then sat down on the curb for a moment and thought, "I have lived here all my life. What dam?" The truth and fact was there was no dam. There was no danger. ? A short while later the citizens came shuffling back into town embarrassed by their collective response to fear. Some suffered from the stampede, some died, while others were fortunate. ? Reject fear and choose faith to get a better future. The New Testament scripture of Matthew posits that men should go into the world and make disciples of people by baptising and teaching them the ways of the Lord Christ Jesus. ????????? One such denomination that has made the mission their own is the Jehovah Witness (JW), a group that worships in Kingdom Halls. ????????? According to him: "It was intimidating at first to see how people react to JWs. However, from a very tender age, my mother made sure that I would identify myself as one of Jehovah's Witnesses wherever I go so that, should the need arise, I would be ready to make public declarations of faith." ????????? Community members are known to have shut doors in their faces, hide when they see them coming and others blatantly ask the witnesses to exit their yards as they want nothing to do with them. ????????? Nelson remains heartened. ????????? "The rejection doesn't discourage me. Instead, I'm encouraged by Jesus' word that we will be hated on account of His name," said the faithful witness. ????????? Family and Religion wanted to find out if Nelson, as a UWI student who lived on campus and was surrounded by young people partaking in the "frivolous things of the world" got tempted and felt like giving up. SAD NEWS REACHING US FROM MEXICO. THREE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES  CONFIRMED DEAD DUE TO THE MEXICO EARTHQUAKE A  magnitude 8.2 earthquake struck off MexicoÂ’s southern Pacific coast. The quake is the strongest to hit Mexico in a over a 100 years,  killing at least 60 people. Sadly, we have received confirmation that one of our brothers and two of our sisters were among those who died. Additionally, initial reports indicate that many homes of the brothers and several Kingdom Halls have been damaged or destroyed. Two Assembly Halls in Chiapas State were also damaged. Assessments are ongoing. The earthquake is said to have occurred late Thursday when many people were asleep We continue to pray for our brothers and sisters, confident that Jehovah will comfort and strengthen them.—2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17. Some have asked: " what is the best way to contribute financially to the relief work carried out by Jehovah's witnesses?" It is recommended that all donations of humanitarian and relief assistance can be done throughout the world. Jehovah's witnesses do not maintain a separate fund which is limited only to a disaster area such as hurricane Harvey. Instead, the efforts to help this hurricane and other natural disasters are funded by work around the world. Natural Disasters—Evidence That God Is Cruel? ?????????? WHAT YOU MAY HEAR: “God rules the world, so he causes natural disasters; therefore, he must be cruel.” WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” (1 John 5:19) Who is “the wicked one”? The Bible identifies him as Satan. (Matthew 13:19; Mark 4:15) Is that far-fetched? Think of this: If Satan has power over the world, then he influences humans to be as selfish, greedy, and shortsighted as he is. Would that not help to explain why man so badly mismanages his own environment on the earth? Many experts warn that mismanagement of the environment may play a role in natural disasters, whether by causing them, worsening them, or making human society more vulnerable to them. Then why does God allow Satan to have so much influence? The answer goes back to the dawn of human history, when our first parents rebelled against God as Ruler. Most of mankind has followed the same course ever since. That choice—the rejection of the rule of God—has placed the world of mankind in the hands of God’s enemy, Satan. Jesus thus called Satan “the ruler of the world.” (John 14:30) Will Satan rule forever? No! Jehovah* is not callously indifferent to the suffering that Satan causes. In fact, God is deeply moved by human suffering. He has appointed his Son, Jesus Christ, to be a just and righteous King forever. #MEXICO 8.2 m earthquake, the most intense in 100 years, in Mexico's history. The seismic focus occurred at midnight on Thursday, 7 September, was located 69 km deep and the epicenter was located 113 km south of tonalá and 198 km South-Southwest of Tuxtla Gutierrez. There was a replica of 5,7 to 29 miles southwest of wall, Mexico. At least 16 people lost their lives in Mexico and Guatemala as a result of the devastating earthquake. 15 of them were in Mexico, 10 of them in the state of Oaxaca, 3 Chiapas Tabasco. In addition, one person died in Guatemala. According to the governor of chiapas, as a result of the replicas there was damage to homes, schools, hospitals, there is no electricity. He urged people living near the coast to flee their homes in the near future. According to the governor of the state of Tabasco, two children died in the region. The large sunspot that rotated out of view about two weeks ago has returned. Though much reduced in size, it did blast a good-sized coronal mass ejection about a week ago on the far side of the Sun. News Hurricane Irma Since last Sunday, all the committees responsible for the areas where the hurricane happened, advised the congregations not to wait at the last hour to be prepared. ??They tell us from Florida: It's crazy here in fl, so many cars on the street getting ready for the storm. We went to the supermarket yesterday and was flooded because they were almost out of water, managers saying that they would have to ask for an emergency supply at that rate. The Soup, crackers and good preserves were backed up, everyone having the same idea, not perishable! Long lines even though gas prices Rose 40 cents in our area, but now they're completely out of gas. My family and I have made plans to evacuate the north, but we have removed our emergency packs only in case the traffic is backed up, with first aid kits, extra food, clothing changes, multiple tools like flashlights, etc. The reaction to the storm has been to open your eyes. My family and I are not concerned about the damage to home that come as our lives are much more important than that, but for some people it's all they have. Material things are their God, so they're falling behind to keep their "priceless" THINGS FROM THE STORM AND LOOTERS. Some are simply not taking the warnings seriously, (sounds familiar? ), thinking that they are hard enough to ride a category 5. Hurricane makes me think of their priorities. One day while going house to house he encountered a woman who answered the door with a rude and impolite manner stating she couldn’t be bothered. Immediately, the Brother replied; arenÂ’t you Mrs. ________ and donÂ’t you have a little child named ________? The woman very surprised demanded to know how the Brother how could know this? He replied; I was the paramedic that responded to your 911 call and revived your child. She immediately said “please come inside.” - ???- Thank youÂ
