Existe muita baboseira na Internet. O ódio e a incompetência intelectual daqueles que odeiam as Testemunhas de Jeová os cega, corrompe e os torna, em muitos casos, tudo aquilo que eles nos acusam de ser.

      Uma dessas baboseiras é a de que Charles Taze Russel era maçom. Mas a verdade é: Russell nunca foi maçom. Nem antes, nem durante seu ministério cristão. É fato que Russell conhecia muitos maçons, devido ao seu status social e econômico desde antes de seu ministério cristão. Ainda assim, ele nunca foi maçom, embora tirasse vantagem, em prol do Reino, da relação amistosa que tinha com muitos maçons. (Os Estudantes da Bíblia, naquela época, não tinham lugares para se reunir como Salões do Reino, e por isso, alugavam até mesmo templos maçônicos para ser reunir).
     Eu resolvi traduzir esse post para fornecer-vos uma ajuda rápida e prática quando acusam o irmão Russell de ter sido maçom enquanto era Estudante da Bíblia.
      É muito simples de argumentarmos sobre isso. Você pode citar o livro e a página [está traduzida] e questionar:
– Se Russell era maçom, por que a maçonaria nunca o criticou por criticar a maçonaria?
– Não acha estranho que alguém que pertença a maçonaria a critique e não seja condenado por ela?
        No entanto, não seja otimista demais. Quando alguns opositores, principalmente ex-membros, inventam de fumar o cachimbo da obstinação, nada, a não ser eles mesmos, pode os desintoxicar. Já aconteceu comigo de eu mostrar a carta da maçonaria que postulava que Russell nunca fora maçom, mas a pessoa disse que tal carta ‘não provava nada’. Assim, que provas você pode usar contra pessoas que não aceitam provas?
       De qualquer forma, aqui vai um forte argumento. Espero que gostem.

 He yelled at her, “Don’t you know that when you give someone a present, there’s supposed to be something inside it?”The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said,”Oh, Daddy, it is not empty. I blew kisses into the box. All for you, Daddy.”

 The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness.It is told that the man kept that gold box by his bed for years and whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

 In a very real sense, each of us as humans have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, friends, family and Jehovah God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold. -
