You forgot one thing. Maintain the spiritual stance of obedience to the almighty. While anyone can receive this fine gift of the Holy Spirit, it can be lost just as quickly by NOT maintaining true to the promise made in baptism. A reference made in the gospels about it would have been better they would not have known (come to the truth). Why, because God can read your heart. The fundamental of first century Christianity is spiritual growth, faith, love and obedience. It doesn't need rocket science to implement those factors in daily life.
