There were plenty of press releases and breaking news stories about Russia. But nothing about ARC, Montana, or the Netherlands. Russia banned them for extremism, since they slander other religions, force women to stay in abusive relationships and dissuade young people from getting higher education. That got plenty of attention. But there has been no news about Holland at all. In my opinion, action against a church in Holland is more newsworthy than continued intolerance by a backward nation like Russia. They are just too embarrassed to admit it even happened. After all, Holland is a paragon of freedom and openness. They protected Tyndale while he translated the Bible to English. The Dutch also helped many religious minorities, like the Puritans. If the Borg can push the Netherlands beyond their limits, they are not immune to prosecution anywhere. CSA is their Achilles heal.

ヘブライ10:24~25 NEW!2019-04-18 21:35:00 テーマ： ブログ 集会を休みがちになると、撲羊で必ず開かれる聖句の１つに、ﾍﾌﾞﾗｲ10:24,25があります。皆さまも嫌というほど聞かされてきた聖句の1つでしょう。 さて、この聖句、新しい改訂版ではどうなっているでしょうか？ ●(2019年発行:新世界訳聖書改訂版より引用) ================================= 24 また，互いのことをよく考えて，愛を表し立派な行いをするよう勧め合いましょう。 25 仲間と集まることを怠ってはなりません。よく欠席する人たちに倣わないようにし，いつも励まし合いましょう。定められた日が近づいているのですから，ますますこうしたことを行っていきましょう。 ================================= 比較するように一般的に使用されている聖書からも抜き出してみましょう。 (新改訳聖書より引用《ｻｲﾄ飛びます》) ================================= 24 また、互いに勧め合って、愛と善行を促すように注意し合おうではありませんか。 25 ある人々のように、いっしょに集まることをやめたりしないで、かえって励まし合い、かの日が近づいているのを見て、ますますそうしようではありませんか。 ================================= ま、新改訳もほぼほぼ我々が使っていた従来の新世界訳と同じような感じですね。 改定されたことによる違和感。それは何でしょうか？ 『どこにスポットを当てているのか』がポイントでしょうか。ここの聖句の適用はあくまでも「集まり合うことをやめないようにしましょう/互いに励まし合いましょう」というものだと思いますし、実際我々もそのように理解してきました。 ところが、改訂版聖書だと(結局内容は同じなんでしょうけど、私を含め素人視点で読んでみると)、ここの聖句の要点が「欠席するような人間とは関わるな」というものに変換されてしまった気がします。『集まることをやめたりせず』という言い方で十分にその趣旨が理解できていました。今回の倒恥態の目的が“より一層趣旨を明確にするものだ“と言うのであれば、それは違うんじゃないですか？！「集会に欠席するんじゃねーぞ！そんな奴等はふさわしくない人間とみなす」という、普段のアンタ達の身勝手な主張を聖書を利用してメッセージを発信してるだけなんじゃないですか？！ こうゆう部分が今回の改訂版が『改悪版』とか『改竄版』などと揶揄される理由の一つではないでしょうかね。 ま、それにしてもエホバ教のやり方は、ある意味でハッキリしていますね。『人に罪悪感を抱かせる』『自己嫌悪に陥らせてから手を差し伸べる(フリをする)』。これ、常套手段です。 少し前の塔でも、「神やイエスを愛してるなら集会に来るはずだ」「集会に来る人は謙遜な人である」といったことを平然と言ってのけてしまうのだからビックリです。それを見た時に、行きたくても行けない人や、参加できないことに引け目を感じている人はどのように感じるのでしょう？『打ちのめされる』に違いありません。 では、神様は『人を打ちのめす』方なのでしょうか？ 残念ながらここの青い神様はそういう方であることを証明していますし、もし、本当に神様がいるのであれば、これほどの神様への冒涜はないことでしょう。 みなさんはこのヘブライの聖句の新しい訳し方についてどう思われますか？またご自由な視点で大いに結構ですので、コメント欄にでも書き込んでみてください。 #エホバの証人#ものみの塔#宗教#カルト#海老名市#キリスト教#集会#聖句

New revised Bible was released this week in Japan, Hebrews 10;25 becomes a popular topic of conversation among PIMO. where some bible's have the word "earth", the original Hebrew should more accurately be translated "land". This gives a much different context. Essentially those verses are saying that the Jewish people would maintain possession of the promised land. Doesn't really fit with the concept of a bunch of immortals living on a paradise on earth as the JWs would have it. ------------------------ there are no original hebrew versions of Matthew, but the modern hebrew does use the word for land and not earth. Young's Literal Translation also uses the word land. Do you know if it is literally "land" in the original greek text of that verse?

in the Bible the word paradise is only said 4 times, and only once (during Jesus’ crucifixion) is it said to possibly mean the earthly paradise. So the paradise is a lie. The lie was pushed by Rutherford when they realized that the religion was growing too fast, so they had to figure what to do about everyone else. Paradise is a fabrication, a lie, and is the reason anyone joined in the first place. Apparently between 1928 and 1942 the number of witnesses went from 44,000 to 115,000. that is some very rapid growth.

The church believes that blood transfusion is evil. A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy from Bulawayo is precariously clinging to life, as his parents, who are staunch Jehovah’s Witnesses are allegedly refusing that he undergoes a blood transfusion to save his life, citing church religious reasons. The minor (name supplied) who is admitted at the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH), has reportedly been in hospital for the past three months, after suffering a cancerous ulcer, which saw him losing his left leg. According to health workers at the hospital, doctors had initially prescribed that the boy undergoes a blood transfusion, before he eventually lost his leg. “The boy is not producing blood and the wound is not healing. A few weeks ago his leg fell off on its own, as it was rotting and was dry. Right now he is only receiving medicine to assist him to generate blood but it appears to be futile. His parents refused him to undergo a blood transfusion, saying it was against their church doctrine,” said a source from the hospital. The workers also alleged that the boy’s mother has kept him guard since February to ensure that the hospital does not carry out blood transfusion as prescribed. “We are not God and neither do we have the ability to see into the future but the boy doesn’t have much time to live,” said the source. Sunday News visited the hospital, where it witnessed the boy’s mother standing guard besides his hospital bed. The mother declined to talk to the Press concerning the issue. UBH clinical director Dr Narcisius Dzvanga confirmed the issue, saying the hospital was only administering drugs to help the boy generate blood and also to ease the pain. “It is their religion and as a hospital we respect their wishes. The boy is getting injections to help generate blood but his parents are adamant about getting a blood transfusion. As doctors we cannot determine much on the boy’s life,” said Dr Dzvanga A similar case of a Jehovah’s Witness couple from South Africa, was reported in that country, after the family refused their chronically ill child undergo a blood transfusion. Their decision ended up being challenged in a court of law. Two days ago it wasn't what it was 800 years ago either. Many people don't grasp that buildings like that aren't just finished one day and then stay unchanged over the centuries. The spire that collapsed? Built around 1850, larger than the original one that had been removed in 1786 because it was about to collapse. The glass in the western rose window? Also 19th century. Most of the statues on the outside? Made in the 19th century restoration (the original ones were mostly destroyed during the french revolution). Even when the initial construction finished in 1345, it wasn't the same as what was planned 200 years prior, the plans had already changed many times in between, for example incorporating new building techniques that enabled thinner walls and larger windows as they went along (that's for example why the north and south rose windows are so much larger and contain much more glass than the west window, as the western wall had already been built when the new techniques came along). Did you know that in medieval times the insides and outsides of churches were painted? The painting styles changed over the centuries, having mostly exposed stonework like we are accustomed to today is actually a pretty recent thing, many churches had their 19th century paintjobs (purporting to imitate original medieval paintwork, but not resembling actual history in their designs and colors - "fake" historicity was pretty common in the 1800s) removed during the first half of the 20th century. This is an example of how gothic cathedrals probably looked like in medieval times. There are many, many 800 year old parts that were not destroyed in the fire, just as there are many, many parts that had already been replaced and rebuilt over the centuries. In 144 years, the Great Fire of 2019 and its subsequent renovation will be just another chapter in the 1000 years of its history since they started construction in 1163.

Here are some English reports on the child abuse scandal coming out of Belgium. Jehovah's Witnesses' scandal: state intelligence to home in on sects Belgian justice minister Koen Geens (Flemish Christian democrat) wants Jehovah’s Witnesses wishing to leave the organisation to receive help from the sects’ watchdog. The minister was speaking after VRT's Pano programme revealed widespread sexual abuse of children among the Jehovah’s Witnesses organisation. On Wednesday several people came forward to bear witness to sexual abuse of children among the Jehovah’s Witnesses, an organisation that is often seen as a society within society and whose members are obliged to follow strict religious rules. Numerous were the Jehovah's Witnesses who said how difficult it was to leave the organisation. Karel Decaestecker, who grew up in a Jehovah's Witnesses family, but decided to leave, explained how difficult it was to obtain benefit to live on. Mr Geens is proposing that IACSSO, the Belgian sects' watchdog, play a fuller role in helping people leave the organisation. The minister stresses the need for a multidisciplinary approach saying people should receive help to steer a course among the various agencies that can play a role in providing e.g. financial and psychological support. The justice minister also insists that elders within the Jehovah's Witnesses movement should report criminal acts. There are claims that the names of child abuse suspects are kept in a blue envelope that hasn't been shown to the justice department. Moreover, there are worries that child abusers have been tried by internal courts and that offences have been kept from the wider public. Mr Geens notes that negligence is a punishable act. Federal prosecutors are investigating possible abuse within the organisation. In Pano several former Jehovah's Witnesses spoke out about child sex abuse that was swept under the carpet by the organisation. The Jehovah's Witnesses, labelled a sect by some, operate their own law system. Child sex abuse suspects are brought before a judicial committee. It's alleged that the names of perpetrators are kept in a blue envelope at Jehovah's Witnesses HQ in Kraainem, but it's thought the information isn't always handed on to the judiciary. Federal prosecutors are now heading an investigation, while parliament last week established a special committee.
