you know, Bible Speaks..... I think I have to ''back-up'' on this....why.... doesn't the Great Tribulation start FIRST, then Jehovah puts ''the thought into their minds'' ????
so, maybe the Ukrainians are doing the ''if you can do this to the Witnesses, we can do this to the Orthodox church'' deal....
don't want to get ''too big for my britches'' where Jehovah is concerned.....

Agree with the librarian. No one has to open or download the files if they don't want to know.  Personal choice. It doesn't ruin the release at the convention, but makes me be sure I am in my seat, listening to the talk. And I have had plenty of experience in attending conventions (baptism in 1942). 
 

The site JW.ORG asks if you have attended the convention before you see the downloads. If your a true Christian then you might want to answer before you review them? That way you don't bother your conscience or others too. Just a thought? Some can't get to a convention and as last year have tie-ins. Thankful for this provision from Jehovah! Agape to all. I've been in the Truth 62 years now.

Finished already in usa the first regional convention, comment like something never seen, the final speech of brother Stephen Lett of the governing body, "still waiting, won't take", that brothers applauded nonstop for over 3 minutes.He commented several times that the end is imminent.

Again employing vivid imagery, Isaiah goes on to say: “All those of the army of the heavens must rot away. And the heavens must be rolled up, just like a book scroll; and their army will all shrivel away, just as the leafage shrivels off the vine and like a shriveled fig off the fig tree.” (Isaiah 34:4)

The expression “all those of the army of the heavens” does not mean the literal stars and planets. Isa 34 Verses 5 and 6 speak of a sword of execution being drenched with blood in those “heavens.”

Hence, this must be a symbol of something in the human realm. (1 Corinthians 15:50) Because of their loftiness as superior authorities, the governments of mankind are likened to heavens ruling over earthly human society. (Romans 13:1-4) So “the army of the heavens” represents the combined armies of these governments of mankind.

How do the symbolic heavens prove to be “just like a book scroll,” and what happens to their ‘armies’?

This “army” will “rot away,” molder, like something perishable. (Psalm 102:26; Isaiah 51:6) 
????
To the naked eye, the literal heavens above us appear curved, like an ancient book scroll, the writing of which was generally on the inner side. When the material written on the inner side of a scroll has passed before the eyes of the reader, the finished scroll is rolled up and put away. Similarly, “the heavens must be rolled up, just like a book scroll,” in that human governments must come to their end.

Reaching the final page of their history, they must be brought to their finish at Armageddon. Their impressive-looking ‘armies’ will fall just as withered leaves fall off a grapevine or “a shriveled fig” drops off a fig tree. Their time will be past.—Compare Revelation 6:12-14.

seeing every promise come true..... makes me think of the video, ''Not One Word Has Failed''.   Just watched it a couple of days ago....  also reminds me of what else Joshua said.... ''but as for me and my family,  we will serve Jehovah.''   not exactly word-for-word, but the point is clearly made by him.

In this world of stress and tension we all have so much to deal with. At times we feel unloved or tragedy affects everyone of us in a different way. So comfort for the Scriptures is always important for each of us and always to help and encourage others as we go through these last days. you know, Bible Speaks, as much as people might dislike being reminded of things, these are reminders that we can always use, especially for me right now..... this is good to hear.  

EARTHQUAKES ?????
Jesus prophesied: “There will be great earthquakes.” (Luke 21:11) Many powerful earthquakes are now expected every year. Since the year 1900, over two million people have died because of earthquakes. And although technology has helped to detect earthquakes earlier than before, many people still die.
? The Bible foretold that during the last days, the world would be full of pain and suffering. But the Bible also says that good things will happen.
? Do you believe that we are living in the last days? Many Bible prophecies about the last days are coming true. Soon Jehovah will decide to stop the preaching of the good news and “the end” will come. (Matthew 24:14)
? What is the end? It is Armageddon, when God will remove all wickedness. Jehovah will use Jesus and his powerful angels to destroy anyone who refuses to obey Him and his Son. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-9) After that, Satan and his demons will not mislead people. And all those who want to obey God and accept his Kingdom will see every promise of God come true.—Revelation 20:1-3; 21:3-5.

Does God Really Care About Me? Learn How He Comforts Us ?

God is described in the Bible as “the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort.” (2 Corinthians 1:3) 
????
God, whose name is Jehovah, knows we need comfort. The Bible uses “comfort” in various forms over a hundred times, assuring us that God not only understands what we face but also desires to comfort us. 
????
This knowledge convinces us that even when others do not seem to notice, understand, or care about our plight, Jehovah God does.
????
The fact that Jehovah cares for people as individuals is clearly seen from the Scriptures. “The eyes of Jehovah are in every place,” says the Bible, “keeping watch upon the bad ones and the good ones.” (Proverbs 15:3) 
????
Similarly, at Job 34:21, we read: “His eyes are upon the ways of man, and all his steps he sees.” Jehovah sees what we do—good or bad—and he is aware of our circumstances, so that he can respond in ways he sees fit. 
????
This is confirmed in the words of Hanani the seer, or prophet, to King Asa of Judah: “As regards Jehovah, his eyes are roving about through all the earth to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him.”—2 Chronicles 16:7, 9
????
Jehovah keeps watch over us for another reason. Jesus explains: “No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him.” (John 6:44) Jehovah cares enough to search a person’s heart to see if it is inclined toward him. If it is, he can respond in ways truly amazing.

Many people today believe that God takes no interest in human affairs. But as we have seen, the Bible clearly shows that God very much cares for those who demonstrate true faith in him. 
????
Even though life today is often filled with distress, worries, disappointments, and hurt, we need not despair. Jehovah God does care. In fact, he lovingly invites us to turn to him for support. “Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you,” says the psalmist. “Never will he allow the righteous one to totter.”—Psalm 55:22

The book of Revelation, written about 63 years after the statements recorded at Luke 23:42, 43 were made, indicates that these events were still in the future.
