  1. Jehovah said He would make Solomon rich, ergo, money isn't evil. Solomon's disobedience led to his downfall, multiplying wives and concubines from the nations, it was those that inclined Solomon's heart to follow their gods, not money.
  2. It is later revealed what was going on, who was bringing his troubles and why. Nevertheless, he is a remarkable example of keeping his integrity whilst unaware of the facts.
  3. A nation of people plus proselytes organised to worship Jehovah, 'is' an organisation. "...built with riches that Satan has been given authority over." The same riches King Solomon is so well known for? 1 Kings 10:14 Jehovah told Solomon He would make him rich. It is the 'love' of money, not money itself, that is the root of all evil, money is for a protection. Those two lovely anointed sisters were extremely active whilst alive, they were an excellent example. Many of Jehovah's people have been hailed before courts throughout history, it is nothing new. I have to marvel at what a genius Jehovah is, His word is like a two-edged sword, able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart. Jehovah is constantly refining His people. What is your story?
  4. You are free to come to that conclusion. Who behaves perfectly...not a one because we are not yet in a state of perfection. All have time to repent and be forgiven, at the moment.
  5. They're very hurt and angry. I feel sad that my brothers and sisters have lost their way and hope they come back. No matter what other humans do or say, that is not Jehovah, and we are taught to "keep putting up with one another" which is an indication that things are not going to be perfect. The counsel to the congregations given in Revelation also is evidence that things were not what they should be yet Jehovah didn't abandon them, he counselled them. Expectation postponed is making the heart sick in this instance too it seems. Let it go and return to your God for he forgives in a large way. Stop expecting perfection when Jehovah Himself doesn't expect it.
  6. That's not been my experience so I don't recognise what you're saying as factual. There are many, many JW's that have been sexually abused by non-JW's. Do not confuse an acceptance of human imperfection with not being bothered about anything, that's you, not me and as such is a projection of your take on things and again, not factual. Jesus taught that we should remove the rafter from our own eyes before trying to remove the splinter from others.
  7. That's right, no human can determine Jehovah's forgiveness or indeed demand their own standards from Him. You answer your own objections, interesting. No, I'm not American.
  8. See I wouldn't describe myself as "full of positive vibes", what I am is realistic. Closed JW forum?, do you have a link please?
  9. I understand what Tom means when he writes, "they". That's the wonderful thing about Jehovah granting us free will, we can exercise it and if people choose to leave, that is their decision. Jehovah said He would feed His sheep using His organisation, that is what He is doing and through a feeding programme using literature, I have no problem understanding that at all. You won't be able to wipe out Jehovah's organisation, many have tried and failed and if you know anything about the end times, you will know that a coalition of nations will eventually turn on us and that that will be the trigger for Armageddon when the nations will know that Jehovah is who He is. Until then He works with imperfect people to carry out His will.
  10. Not at all. Kind David had an illicit affair with a married woman and then sent her husband to the front line in order for him to be killed, he also numbered the people when he shouldn't have. Jehovah did not depart from using King David to carry out His will. Jehovah is also aware of the effects of sin and if His people are repentant, He forgives them, He is not unreasonable so as to expect perfection from imperfect people. I have not found Jehovah's organisation to be lacking in mercy and love. I don't agree with you about our GB because that hasn't been my experience I read all of our beautiful Watchtowers and Awakes and savour every word, here is purity in it's finest form. Over 300,000 baptised...no stumbling block there. If the 'whole world' is lying in the power of the wicked one, I would not be expecting them to be complementing our organisation.
  11. They won't be talked out of it but I won't stand/sit by while they make baseless accusations against Jehovah or His people I do know what I'm dealing with here, don't worry, the truth will always win out and any rightly disposed towards everlasting life may see and take note.
  12. Ah well you would say that wouldn't you Of course I'm aware of who the anointed are, I personally knew 2 of them, lovely sisters, so humble and it makes me smile to think of them in their heavenly role. Night night
  13. Those are not two masters, Jehovah has a representative organisation on the earth, that makes it one master using His organisation to feed His sheep. I don't blind myself at all, I realise that all humans are prone to the effects of sin and all will answer in that day. I don't expect perfection in an imperfect world.
  14. Adam and Eve were in a state of perfection, they had freewill and exercised it badly, completely different from Job's situation. Suffice it to say that I go through many of the same tests as my brother's and sisters, that is not in dispute, but, I am completely aware that those tests are brought about by the devil and nothing to do with Jehovah. I have absolutely no problem whatsoever proving the devil a liar when he claims humans would only serve God for selfish reasons. The weather is what it is.
  15. Actually, Jehovah has provided all things, the devil and his minions then interfere to the best of their ability to distort it all. Gandhi said, "there is enough for everyone's need, but not everyone's greed", and he was right. Those serving Jehovah 'completely' are able to compare what is written with what is said. Quite frankly, I would expect all of this to happen as it would serve to refine His people. I have found that those more concerned with how they perform to other humans, are often those that fall by the way whereas those that are concerned with serving Jehovah remain steadfast.
