  1. Speak for yourself. Don't speak for the united brotherhood. If you want to feel sorry, feel sorry for yourself and the bad behavior you are displaying here. Then REPENT for your sins. But like I said, your redemption is now in question. There is time to show sympathy. Cuddling apostasy is not that time.
  2. Once again, how do you justify this position? Wasn't Paul born a Jew, but held ROMAN citizenship?? Wasn't Paul anointed to continue the works of Christ to the gentiles? Didn't then Paul commission others to follow in his service of preaching? That relates to the apostles. Which scripture are you reading? Now how about this gem. How do you justify your erroneous view? Luke 10:1 ¶ After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. Luke 10:2 zAnd he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Luke 10:3 Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. All those that were appointed also received God's Holy Spirit. NONE of whom held a prior position in any religious school or synagogue as an overseer, bishop, elder, or shepherd, priest, or high priest. Yet, by either a commission, or by appointment, they became all of the above, just like Paul's commission continued to go forward without the aid of Christ. Therefore, God appoints his representatives today by the Holy Spirit as he has done all along. Don't confuse the OT with the NT.
  3. You first. This poster has self-condmned itself, far worse. Yet, you MOCK God by using his name in vain. Not only is that mocking God, but showing disrespect, and insulting him. Matt. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? However, this poster redemption is now in question by its blasphemy.
  4. @WitnessConfectionProgram Now, you speak about Mary Magdalene washing Jesus feet. The tone for "anointed" here is different. It has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit but rather, a blessing. Mark 16:1 ¶ When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and iSalome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. Luke 7:46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Verb anoint - /ənˈɔɪnt/ 1 To administer an oil or ointment to, often in a religious ceremony of blessing.
  5. Think about it, Kate. Who does the anointing? Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him. 2Cor. 1:21 And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us. Heb. 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness, therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” 1John 2:20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. Your confusing Jesus commission vs anointed. GOD anoints. How old was Timothy when he was commissioned by Paul? Who anointed Paul since Christ was not around when he received his commission? Yes! Jesus spoke to Paul, but Paul was not part of the original apostles to be physically commissioned by Jesus. You have no claim to your interpretation since it's being misapplied. God can "anoint" anyone he wishes to be in his service. The condition for us now is we don't need to be physically commissioned by Christ in order to receive the calling of anointed or be anointed by God's Holy Spirit. The same kind of confusion you have with the Body of Christ.
  6. Now, how about both of you, start learning to understand scripture correctly! 😏 James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 1John 2:27 But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
  7. With reluctance and a heavy heart, I have to acknowledge and agree with this comment.
  8. More incoherence coming from one apostate to another. Once again, PROVE Christ was NOT enthroned in 1914. Don't just say it, PROVE IT!!! Now, how can @Witness, explain to this poster about "anointing" when neither party understands what it means and represents? @Audrey Kennedy-Tripp Show where the Watchtower falsely claims that Elders are OF the anointed instead of being anointed by God's Holy Spirit. Then think of that commission and task on how, the REST of the members of Christ's Body can receive that same spirit. Whoever taught this poster scripture, failed miserably. Remember, don't just post nonsense like the poster is doing. Answer the questions like an adult.
  9. Lack of understanding of word definition just keeps piling up in ignorance by uneducated people with NO linguistic background and skills. But, that's expected here. Noun congregation - /kɑŋgɹəgˈeɪʃən/ 1 The act of congregating2 An assemblage of people or animals or things collected together. A congregation of children pleaded for his autograph A great congregation of birds flew over 3 A group of people who adhere to a common religious belief and habitually attend a given place of worship ThesaurusSynonym congregating faithful fold Hypernym accumulation aggregation assemblage assembly collection gathering social group Hyponym flock Holonym denomination Derived congregate congregations Noun organization - /ɔɹgənaɪzˈeɪʃən/ 1 The act of forming or creating something 6 A group of people who work together7 The persons committees departments or similar parties who make up a body for the purpose of administration or management ThesaurusSynonym administration arrangement brass constitution establishment formation governance governing body organisation system Hypernym activity administration beginning body commencement disposal methodicalness orderliness social group start structure Hyponym adhocracy affiliate alignment alinement alliance association, Association of Orangemen bench blue brotherhood All of which any church has implemented correctly for centuries, even in Jesus day and in the OT. Rom. 16:16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you. Plural not singular. However, keep the comedy show going.
  10. Since you don't understand scripture, this observation is moot. CSB 2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother who walks irresponsibly and not according to the tradition received from us. KJV 2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. NAS 2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep aloof from every brother who leads an unruly life and not according to the tradition which you received from us. NLT 2 Thessalonians 3:6 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don't follow the tradition they received from us.
  11. Does the poster understand its own arguments and the contradictions it places before the poster? So, does this poster suggest that the Elders should air the posters dirty laundry for everyone to be aware of, even if the sin is great? I believe, that's what the committee is about. FACT finding. If the sin is great, the entire church will be made aware of it. For instance, @Audrey Kennedy-Tripp, conduct is unbecoming a Christian and a blasphemer. People here already know that. Does the poster need to have it shouted over a rooftop? Should the Elders yield out, Brother so-and-so had sexual relations with so-and-so's wife, and now they are D'fd. Will that satisfy that nonsensical argument? Remember, SHUN is an apostate excuse and word. That makes the poster an apostate. So accept it.
  12. NWT (2 John 10, 11) 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him. 11 For the one who says a greeting to him is a sharer in his wicked works. Which lexicon is giving the poster trouble, if the poster doesn't understand scripture to begin with? What part of DO NOT, does the poster not understand? I see you can't answer the other text either. CSB 2 John 1:10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and don't say, "Welcome," to him; KJV 2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: NAS 2 John 1:10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; NLT 2 John 1:10 If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don't invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement. BGT 2 John 1:10 εἴ τις ἔρχεται πρὸς ὑμᾶς καὶ ταύτην τὴν διδαχὴν οὐ φέρει, μὴ λαμβάνετε αὐτὸν εἰς οἰκίαν καὶ χαίρειν αὐτῷ μὴ λέγετε· [Fri] μή negative particle not, used for assumed, hesitant, or indefinite denial; where οὐ (not) denies the fact, μή denies the idea; generally used with all moods except the factual indicative, including its use with the infinitive and participle; (1) used to negate an assumption (JN 3.18 ὅτι μὴ πεπίστευκεν because he has not believed); (2) used to introduce questions expecting a negative answer (1C 12.29, 30); (3) used with the aorist subjunctive and present imperative to express prohibitions; (a) with the aorist subjunctive it has an ingressive denotation signifying don't begin to do something (HE 3.8); (b) with the present imperative it signals to bring to an end an already existing condition; stop doing something, don't do it any longer (MT 14.27); if the action has not yet begun, it signifies don't get into the habit of doing something So, what part of the word "EXPEL" in scripture, a word of God inspired, does the poster take offense with? Remember, it's God's command and Christ's instructions the poster is rejecting, and condemning. The poster already has the word definition. So, let God know why the poster disobedience should supersede God's judgment?
  13. 2John 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting.
  14. Funny the poster mentions this since the poster's conduct is just that about the Org and its members. Now the poster is behaving like another D'fd poster here. Wants to see the word specifically mentioned without reading the rest of scripture's intent with its context. Matt. 18:17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Titus 3:10 As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, Titus 3:11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned. Does the poster know how the Jews felt about a tax collector?
  15. I guess this poster is suggesting there are levels of bad conduct. Something like a little white lie vs a big red one. To God, a lie is a lie regardless of its level. Does this poster even understand basic definitions of the English language? The poster can't pick, and choose what it likes out of scripture, and condemn the rest, just because it doesn't meet the poster's approval. The poster is NOT God. Try reading the word definitions I posted, and debate where the word "remove" that is in 1 Corinthians 5:15 the poster submitted can be "twisted" to make the poster argument valid? Noun remove - /ɹɪmˈuv/ 1 Degree of figurative distance or separation Just one remove from madness, or It imitates at many removes a Shakespearean tragedy Verb remove - /ɹɪmˈuv/ 1 To eliminate or get rid of something concrete as by lifting pushing or taking off or to do away with something abstract At what point does this poster believe scripture can't be applied to mean various wicked actions?
  16. Since "expel" is part of scripture, the obtuse poster is NOW calling God WICKED. Another individual that has blasphemed against God's Holy Spirit, and has now condemned that soul to the second death. Matt. 12:31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 1John 5:16 ¶ If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life—to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.
  17. That's what I thought. The poster can't defend anything to do with scripture. The poster is now a charlatan. Noun charlatan - /ʃˈɑɹlətən/ 1 A flamboyant deceiver one who attracts customers with tricks or jokes. ThesaurusSynonym mountebank Hypernym beguiler cheat cheater deceiver slicker trickster Hyponym craniologist phrenologist quack
  18. Dis- /dis/ prefix 1.expressing negation:"dislike" 2.denoting reversal or absence of an action or state:"dishonor" 3.denoting removal of the thing specified:"disbud" ▪denoting separation:"discharge" ▪denoting expulsion: "disbar" 4.expressing completeness or intensification of an unpleasant or unattractive action:"disgruntled” Verb excommunicate - /ɛkskəmjˈunəkeɪt/ 1 To exclude from a church or a religious community The gay priest was excommunicated when he married his partner2 To oust or exclude from a group or membership by decree ThesaurusSynonym curse unchurchAntonym communicateHypernym boot out drum, oust exclude expel keep out, kick out oust shut, shut out, throw out Derived excommunicated excommunicates excommunicating excommunication See also curse unchurch Verb expel - /ɛkspˈɛl/ 1 To eliminate a substance often a liquid or gas2 To cause to flee Artillery will expel out the enemy from their trenches3 To remove from a position or office4 To force to leave or move out He was expelled from his native country ThesaurusSynonym boot out discharge drum out eject exhaust kick out oust release rout, rout out throw outHypernym defeat displace get the better of move overcome remove Verb disassociate - /dɪsəsˈoʊʃieɪt/ 1 To part cease relations or break an association She had to disassociate herself from the organization when she found out the identity of the president. ThesaurusSynonym disjoint dissociate disunite divorceHypernym break, break up part separate split, split up,Derived disassociated disassociates disassociating disassociation Noun purge - /pɜɹʤ/ 1 An abrupt or sudden removal perhaps through assassination of a person or group from an organization or place 2 An act of removing by cleansing thus ridding of sediment or other undesired elements 3 The act of clearing oneself or another from some stigma or charge
  19. According to Whom? This poster and apostates? Who is this poster that people should believe? If expelling the wicked is in the bible, why should readers accept the lies presented by this poster? 1Cor. 5:13 God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.” 2 Tim. 3:5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. The above texts is in the bible. GODS WORDS. Finally, defend your misunderstanding of scripture like an adult, not a spiritually immature person. Where in scripture does this poster see where Christ claimed the wicked should be allowed to poison the minds of the church members by their unrepentant wicked ways? I'll await a coherent answer. EXCOMMUNICATION • See CHURCH, GOVERNMENT OF • See CHURCH, RULES OF DISCIPLINE IN
  20. Once again. This poster needs to make up its mind which team the poster wants to be in. None of the aforementioned were stumbled. They are the cause of stumbling just like this poster. Their erroneous understanding of scripture and its interpretation cannot be corrected unless they learn to interpret scripture correctly. After they repent, perhaps. Unfortunately, some have gone beyond blasphemy against God's Holy Spirit. There is NO forgiveness for that. They have sealed their souls to the second death. If this poster wants to feel sorry on a personal level, feel sad for that.
  21. I have no friendship with the devil and never will. I do however have millions of friends that are TRUE Christians. Don't confuse "rebuke" with "hate." I'm not this poster nor @Witness I don't go around, talking ill of my brothers as this poster does. James 4:11-12 Eph 5:7: | Therefore do not become partners with them; Eph 5:11: | Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. 1 Jn 1:6: | If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. Heb. 3:8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, Heb. 3:15 As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Jude 11 Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain ato Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion. Therefore, poster, don't recommend something that this poster is NOT doing. 2 Corinthians 6:14: 14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
  22. Prov. 17:11 An evil man seeks only rebellion, and a cruel messenger will be sent against him. This goes for any obtuse man or woman posting nonsense that defiles God and his word. Only a foolish heart takes a hearsay letter face value.
  23. Rebellion against God » Punishment for 1 Samuel 12:15 Verse Concepts If you will not listen to the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the command of the Lord, then the hand of the Lord will be against you, as it was against your fathers.
  24. John 17:19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.
