Who wrote the dead sea scrolls?
Our organization relies heavily on the translation of the new world into these rolls that appeared in clay pots in caves, according to the photo.
The other photo exposes parts of these scrolls, which contain writings from the most ancient acquaintances of what is today the Bible.
Who wrote the dead sea scrolls and what was qumran?
For seven decades, Biblical scholars, historians and archaeologists have argued.
The Famous Dead Sea Scrolls were written by the essenes, who had established qumran as a remote religious community.
No, qumran was a fortress where the scrolls of the Jerusalem temple library were hidden just before the Roman Siege of Jerusalem.
Or was qumran an important ceramic production center and the refugees had hidden the scrolls while fleeing during the great Jewish revolt?
Where is the truth, if any truth is yet to be established?
Twenty-five years after the rolls came out.
The distinguished professor of Hebrew and other eastern languages at Harvard University Frank Moore cross summed up the current thought when he wrote "the dead sea scrolls and the people who wrote them" in biblical archaeology review in 1977:
The Scrolls and the people who wrote them can be placed within a broad historical framework with relative certainty under the external controls provided by the archaeologist and the paleógrafo.
The Essenes, a Jewish sect who lived in the remote desert in monastic isolation, were the authors of the scrolls, believed cross. He sums up his story:
The Essenes of qumran were a community formed and guided by a group of priests. In the second half of the th century bc, after losing hope to recover his former authority in the theocracy of Jerusalem and under the active pursuit of a new house of reigning priests, they fled to the desert and, finding new hopes in apocalyptic dreams, prepared They themselves for the imminent trial when their enemies would be defeated and they, the chosen of God, would receive the final victory according to the predictions of the prophets.
These evolved priests were undoubtedly the authors of the dead sea scrolls, according to cross. The evidence was clear as the crystal.
The certainty was fleeting. For 1990, in Bible review, Lawrence H. Schiffman was convinced that either the sect sect was not esenia, but was saducea, or that the movement had to be fully redefined as emerging from the beginnings of the sadducees.
The Origins of the scrolls themselves have also been challenged. The expert in dead sea scrolls schiffman, professor of and Hebrews studies and the director of the global institute of advanced research in Jewish studies at the university of New York, wrote:
Scholars used to think that the library was entirely the product of the inhabitants of qumran. Instead, you can now say, this treasure trove includes material that represents a variety of Jewish groups, as well as controversy against other Jewish groups.
Finally, schiffman refutes a recent proposition that qumran was clearly a fortress, not a religious settlement, while pointing out that the graves of women and children found there indicate that the place was neither fortress nor monastery.
The truth, at last?
Today we have the most recent grant from Sidnie White Crawford, professor at the department of classical and religious studies at the university of Nebraska, Lincoln, and member of the publication team of scrolls.
Crawford returns us to the hypothesis, this time using completely different archaeological evidence that had not been quoted previously.
Indeed, a casual student of biblical history cannot be blamed for experiencing confusion beyond tolerance in the face of this constantly changing scholarship.

Truth or Consequences? Which One? 
A missionary from a distant town was transfer to  a city. Some weeks after his arrival, he had an appointment that made him to board a bus to another part of the city. 
When he sat down,  he discovered that the driver had mistakenly given him his balance in excess of #50. 
As he considered what to do, he thought within him, 'You'd  better give this money back. It would be wrong to keep it'. Then another thought came, "Oh, forget it, it's only #50; who would worry about this little amount, after all the bus company makes so much money on fares; they will never miss it. 
Accept it  as 'a gift from God' and keep quiet. "When he was getting down from the bus, he paused momentarily at the door, and then handed the #50 to the driver and said, 'Take; the balance you gave me was over'. The driver, with a smile, replied,'Aren't you the new  preacher in town?' 'Yes I am' he replied.'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about where to go to worship. 
I just wanted to see what you would do if I give you balance in excess. I'll worship with you at your kingdom hall this Sunday. 
When the missionary stepped off the bus, he grabbed a nearby electric pole, looked up and said, 'Oh Jehovah I almost sold your  sheep for #50. 
Our lifestyles are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is just a subtle example of how much people watch us as Jehovah witness, and will put us to the test! Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Jehovah on your forehead and shoulders once you call yourself a Jehovah's witness. 'Watch your thoughts;they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. 
Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. 
Watch your character; it mean ur life'. I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder and I  chose to forward it to you. 
Now you would have reminded someone of serving Jah whole souled.
After reading this it remind me what the bible book of 2cor 6vs3 say, In no way are we giving any cause for stumbling, so that no fault may be found with our ministry.

Reading the news reports on this potentially major find I was delighted to read that this clay seal purported to be a clay seal of Isaiah was found only 10 feel away from where the Royal seal of Hezekiah - King of Judea & Jerusalem - had been found recently also.
As we will all remember from the drama at the convention in 2016, King Hezekiah looked to Isaiah for counsel from Jehovah on matters of state. So for these signature seals to be found in close proximity, yet again we find the Bible being proved accurate & historical. 
Amazing to think also that these seals date back to the time when Jehovah's Angel destroyed 185,000 Assyrian troops of the then dominant world empire ruled by the merciless King Sennacherib; after he had Jehovah's name taunted in front of the gates of Jerusalem & threatened to annihilate its residents & destroy the City & the temple.
How we all long for the day when everyone on earth will come to know that Jehovah alone is the true God & that his name has been vindicated.

That spirit would have us believe that a stockpile of material things will provide lasting security. We should ask ourselves, ‘Has my life become focused on a quest for material comforts and pleasures?’ By contrast, God’s spirit-inspired Word encourages us to have a balanced view of money and to work hard to provide material necessities for ourselves and our family. 
(1 Timothy 5:8) Certainly if anyone does not provide for those who are his own, and especially for those who are members of his household, he has disowned the faith and is worse than a person without faith."
GodÂ’s spirit helps those who receive it to reflect JehovahÂ’s generous personality. Such ones are known as givers, not takers. They value people more highly than things and gladly share what they have when they can afford to do so.
(Proverbs 3:27-28) Do not hold back good from those to whom it is owing, when it happens to be in the power of your hand to do [it]. 28 Do not say to your fellowman: “Go, and come back and tomorrow I shall give,” when there is something with you."
And they never allow the pursuit of money to take precedence over serving God.

Signature of Isaiah Discovered in Jerusalem
Excavations in Jerusalem have unearthed what may be the first extra-Biblical evidence of the prophet Isaiah. Just South of the temple mount, in the excavations of Ophel, Archaeologist Eilat Mazar and his team discovered a small imprint of seal that says "[belonging to nvy ". missing the top of the printing and is damaged The left side. . Reconstructing a few Hebrew letters in this damaged area would make the impression "[belonging to the prophet isaiah ". if the reconstruction is maintained, this may be the signature of the biblical prophet Isaiah

They do not know God! Russia is god and upset when those that love God read the Bible and tell others the Good News. Pray for Russia!

This is our little sister Helen Gotthold, a German Jehovah's witness who was arrested many times for serving Jehovah during the Nazi ban. Helen was convicted, condemned to death and beheaded on December 18,1944 in Berlin. What was her crime? Serving Jehovah faithfully..(Matthew 16:25)

DUE TO THE BAN IN RUSSIA ,MORE THAN 4,500 JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES AND FRIENDS TRAVELLED TO HELSINKI,FINLAND TO ATTEND THE 3-DAY REGIONAL CONVENTION
This convention was organised just for our Russian brothers and sisters and some of them had travelled 10,000 kilometres to get there.
The Finnish brothers opened their homes to the Russian brothers whom
they didn't know personally, providing over  4,500 delegates with accomodation, food and transport to the Convention for all three days.
Despite the fact that most Finns don't speak a word of Russian, love helped to overcome the linguistic barriers (John 13:35).
Brother Mark Sanderson, of the Governing Body, was amongst those present, having come specifically to strengthen our persecuted brothers in russia.
Can you hear the love and joy from their singing to Jehovah?
