If you notice the Topic, I'm alone on this thread having the work of bearing witness concerning Jesus. Even Saul was found coming against the members of the 'Body of Christ" in the first Century.  "But Saul, still breathing threat and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that he might bring bound to Jerusalem any whom he found who belonged to The Way, both men and women." (Acts 9:1-2)   

The Way also had a governing body of the Twelve Apostles to organize the brothers in how to care for the congregation. "So the Twelve called the multitude of the disciples together and said: “It is not right for us to leave the word of God to distribute food to tables.  So, brothers, select for yourselves seven reputable men from among you, full of spirit and wisdom, that we may appoint them over this necessary matter;" (Acts 6:2-3)  

The Way was also referred to as a sect of the Nazarenes. "For we have found this man to be a pest, stirring up seditions among all the Jews throughout the inhabited earth, and he is a spearhead of the sect of the Naz·a·renesʹ." (Acts 24:5)

"With that the Jews also joined in the attack, asserting that these things were true. 10 When the governor nodded to Paul to speak, he answered:" (Act 24:9-10a)  Here is Paul's Defense:

:“Knowing well that this nation has had you as judge for many years, I readily speak in my own defense. 11 As you can verify for yourself, it has not been more than 12 days since I went up to worship in Jerusalem; 12 and they found me neither arguing with anyone in the temple nor stirring up a mob, either in the synagogues or throughout the city. 13 Nor can they prove to you the things they are accusing me of right now. 14 But I do admit this to you, that according to the way that they call a sect, in this manner I am rendering sacred service to the God of my forefathers, as I believe all the things set forth in the Law and written in the Prophets.” (Acts 24:10b-14)

Jesus said to them: “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone that the builders rejected, this has become the chief cornerstone. This has come from Jehovah, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? (Matthew 21:42)

"This is why I say to you, the Kingdom of God will be taken from you and be given to a nation producing its fruits.  Also, the person falling on this stone will be shattered. As for anyone on whom it falls, it will crush him.” (Matthew 21:43-44)

Jesus Christ is a stepping stone for me, but for the unbelievers and persecutors, he is a stumbling block........and you are falling on this stone.... Jesus words are true, As for anyone on whom it falls, it will crush him.

Water Baptism is not spurious but the Baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit IS........trinitarians are counterfeit christians.

Jesus is very organized, matter of fact, the Organization in the first century that baptised in water were members of the "Body of Christ'. They were called, 'the Way".

That gathering is coming to it's completion and the appointed time is concluding.  How can I convince someone without faith?  "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ," (Ephesians 1:3)  

If scripture doesn't convince you nothing will....  :-(

Obviously, the manuscript of Matthew being used by Eusebius was different than the words we find in today's Bibles. Eusebius is not the only one to provide us with clues concerning this issue:

"In Origen’s works, as preserved in the Greek, the first part of the verse is cited three times, but his citation always stops short at the words ‘the nations’; and that in itself suggests that his text has been censored, and the words which followed, ‘in my name’, struck out." – Conybeare" End of Quote.

The Historian Eusebius of Caesarea (263-339), had extensive access to the Library that kept a copy of the original text of Matthew.  Eusebius was also a Bishop whom quoted the Shem Tov Book of Matthew some seventeen times and all quotes of (Matthew 28:19) were quotes of one accord with no variations, (In My Name). 

However, between the years 315 and 325 CE the Hebrew Book of Matthew was shelved or in some manner hidden away.  "The Greek version used by Eusebius poured more widely these verses, but in no way changing the sense of the Hebrew text, because when he quotes in his Ecclesiastical History(Book 3, Chapter 5:2), part of Matthew 28:19, he writes: “Poreuthentes mathêteusate panta ta ethnê en to onomati mou”, or “Go and make disciples of all nations in my name”,   http://lavia.org/EN_ShemTov.html

So if this true what Jerome stated, then Shem Tob’s Matthew must be the original one who was passed down generation to generation. One thing people need to know is, there is no manuscript in Hebrew for Matthew’s Gospel, this is according to Christians of today. But according to some of respected Church fathers there was a Hebrew Gospel of Matthew available in their day. So the question Christians need to answer is: where is the manuscript of Gospel of Matthew? There is a manuscript of Matthew in Hebrew from 1385 and some Scholars believe this is the copy of the original one that was passed down." End of Quote:

Destruction of "the wicked" is a process

Be careful Ann, those tossed in the lake of fire do not come out.... everlasting destruction is everlasting.

" For they deliberately ignore this fact, that long ago there were heavens and an earth standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God;  and that by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water,  by the same word the heavens and the earth that now exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people." "Let no one lead you astray in any way, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction.  He stands in opposition and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits down in the temple of God, publicly showing himself to be a god.  Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I used to tell you these things?" Again, I gave you the sign of the son of man.  THE SIGN IS (Matthew 24:14)  How do 'the wicked' respond? In a negative way do they not? They try to hinder the good news about God's Kingdom because it crushes the earthly kingdoms to dust in the same manner as in a grinding mill.  Little by little the earthly kingdoms fragment into smaller and smaller pieces until they are dust.   Violently fragmenting, they weep and gnash their teeth but you cannot see it.

When the earthly kings ban the preaching work, they are actually helping to fulfill the SIGN of the son of man in (Matthew 24:14) otherwise why would they attempt to stop it?  They unwittingly know they are being crushed and therefore respond violently. There comes a time when the 'wicked' recognize the sign of the son of man.

The Last Days that began in 1914 are now coming to their end. When Armageddon is about to begin, the son of man's presence is finally revealed to wicked mankind, and "all the peoples of the earth will have to see that Jehovah's name has been called upon you, and they will indeed be afraid of you." The gathering of a people out of all the nations for God's Name is now coming to its completion! (Acts 15:14)

"And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14)

Since the first century , Christendom has been fulfilling this other prophecy...   LOOK OUT THAT NOBODY MISLEADS YOU. FOR many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ AND WILL MISLEAD MANY. 6 You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars. SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT ALARMED, FOR THESE THINGS MUST TAKE PLACE, BUT THE END IS NOT YET.

It's simply too detailed for me to get too in depth about it...  the simple answer is that 607 BCE was when the time of the Gentiles began as to the interruption of the pure worship of Jehovah until the one who has the legal right resumes pure worship 2520 years later.  Now that we have over 120,000 centers of pure worship of Jehovah.... Evidently, early in Zedekiah’s reign messengers arrived from Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, and Sidon, perhaps with the intention of getting Zedekiah to join them in a coalition against King Nebuchadnezzar. It was also early in his reign that Zedekiah (for some reason not stated in the Bible) sent Elasah and Gemariah to Babylon. If the incident is presented in chronological order, this would have been in the fourth year of Zedekiah’s kingship.—Jer 28:1, 16, 17; 29:1-3.
Zedekiah personally went to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Likely this was to present tribute and thereby to reassure Nebuchadnezzar of his continued loyalty as a vassal king. Rebels Against Nebuchadnezzar. Approximately three years later (c. 609 B.C.E.), contrary to Jehovah’s word through Jeremiah and the oath that the king himself had taken in Jehovah’s name, Zedekiah rebelled against Nebuchadnezzar and sent to Egypt for military assistance. (2Ki 24:20; 2Ch 36:13; Jer 52:3; Eze 17:15) This brought the Babylonian armies under Nebuchadnezzar against Jerusalem. The siege of the city began “in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month.”—Eze 24:1-6.
It may have been at the commencement of this siege that Zedekiah sent “Pashhur the son of Malchiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest,” to Jeremiah in order to inquire of Jehovah whether Nebuchadnezzar would withdraw from Jerusalem. Jehovah’s word through Jeremiah was that the city and its inhabitants would experience calamity at the hands of the Babylonians. (Jer 21:1-10) It appears that after this, Jeremiah, in compliance with divine direction, personally went to Zedekiah to advise him that Jerusalem would be destroyed and that the king would be taken to Babylon, there to die in peace.—Jer 34:1-7.

In besieged Jerusalem, Zedekiah and his princes deemed it advisable to do something to comply with Jehovah’s law and gain His favor. Although it was not the Jubilee year, they concluded a covenant to release their Hebrew slaves from servitude. Later they broke this covenant by enslaving those whom they had set free. (Jer 34:8-22) This appears to have taken place at the time a military force from Egypt came to the defense of Jerusalem, causing the Babylonians to lift the siege temporarily to meet the Egyptian threat. (Jer 37:5) Apparently believing that the Babylonians would be defeated and unable to resume the siege, those who had released enslaved Hebrews felt that the danger was over and, therefore, again brought freed Hebrew slaves into servitude.

During this general period Zedekiah dispatched “Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to Jeremiah” with the request that the prophet pray to Jehovah in behalf of the people, evidently so that the foretold destruction of Jerusalem would not come. But Jehovah’s answer, as conveyed by Jeremiah, showed that the divine judgment remained unchanged. The Chaldeans would return and destroy Jerusalem.—Jer 37:3-10.

Later, when Jeremiah decided to leave Jerusalem to go to Benjamin, he was seized at the Gate of Benjamin and falsely accused of falling away to the Chaldeans. Though Jeremiah denied the charge, Irijah, the officer having the oversight, did not listen to him but brought the prophet to the princes. This led to Jeremiah’s being imprisoned in the house of Jehonathan. After a considerable period had passed and Jerusalem was evidently again being besieged by the Babylonians, Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah. In reply to the king’s inquiry, Jeremiah told Zedekiah that he would be given into the hand of the king of Babylon. When Jeremiah pleaded that he not be returned to the house of Jehonathan, Zedekiah granted his request and had him put in custody in the Courtyard of the Guard.—Jer 37:11-21; 32:1-5.

Indicating that Zedekiah was a very weak ruler is the fact that, when the princes later requested that Jeremiah be put to death for allegedly weakening the morale of the besieged people, Zedekiah said: “Look! He is in your hands. For there is nothing at all in which the king himself can prevail against you.” However, afterward Zedekiah granted Ebed-melech’s request to rescue Jeremiah and directed that Ebed-melech take along 30 men to assist in this. Later Zedekiah again had a private audience with Jeremiah. He assured the prophet that he would neither kill him nor deliver him into the hands of those seeking his death. But Zedekiah feared reprisals from the Jews who had fallen away to the Chaldeans and, therefore, did not heed Jeremiah’s inspired advice to surrender to the princes of Babylon. In further display of his fear, the king requested that Jeremiah not reveal the subject of their private discussion to the suspicious princes.—Jer 38:1-28.

Fall of Jerusalem. Finally (607 B.C.E.), “in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month,” Jerusalem was broken through. By night Zedekiah and the men of war took to flight. Overtaken in the desert plains of Jericho, Zedekiah was taken to Nebuchadnezzar at Riblah. Zedekiah’s sons were slaughtered before his eyes. As Zedekiah was only about 32 years of age at the time, the boys could not have been very old. After witnessing the death of his sons, Zedekiah was blinded, bound with copper fetters, and taken to Babylon, where he died in the house of custody.—2Ki 25:2-7; Jer 39:2-7; 44:30; 52:6-11; compare Jer 24:8-10; Eze 12:11-16; 21:25-27." I just gave you the sign of the son of man.... "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14)    Can you really see it??

Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined. And the wicked ones will certainly act wickedly, and no wicked ones at all will understand; but the ones having insight will understand.” (Daniel 12:8-10) There was a sure hope for the holy ones! Rather than being destroyed, they would be whitened, blessed with a clean standing before Jehovah God. (Malachi 3:1-3) Their insight into spiritual matters would enable them to keep clean in GodÂ’s eyes. In contrast, the wicked would refuse to understand spiritual things.
 

We are at a time when the preaching work is coming to its  conclusion.  If a person doesn't understand 607 BCE or 1914 CE it's with a reason.  Of course Jerusalem was sacked in 587 BCE, however, those with insight understand that the pure worship of Jehovah was interrupted in 607 BCE when the priests were slaughtered.  That's when the trampling of nations began for 2520 years. The end of the Gentile times was marked with the Presence of Christ in 1914 CE... Christ would rule in the midst of his enemies for a period of time before the revealing of his Presence to 'wicked mankind'.  The great tribulation is the manifestation of Christ Presence.  "Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence." (2 Thessalonians 2:8)   It's SPIRITUAL...  the wicked simply die the second death at an appointed time, an everlasting death in the same manner as Adam and Eve never to be resurrected.  

The Last Days that began in 1914 are now coming to their end. When Armageddon is about to begin, the son of man's presence is finally revealed to wicked mankind, and "all the peoples of the earth will have to see that Jehovah's name has been called upon you, and they will indeed be afraid of you." (Deut 28:10) 

"then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation" (Matthew 24:30)   It's 'ungodly mankind' that laments, not God's Named people. (Deut 28:10) 

The sacred secret of the Last Days are only given to those whom already proven their faith in Jehovah and are willing to submit themselves to the appointed King of God's Kingdom.  The sign given by Jesus was to reveal his presence in Kingdom power.  The epiphany is the manifestation of his presence.
