This might give you a better understanding of what was going on that day:
“In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16 To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” 17 His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.” (Ps 69:9)
18 The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?”
19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
20 They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body. 22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.”  John 2:14-22

In the organization, God’s House, His dwelling (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16) has turned into a spiritual “marketplace”.  In exchange for forking over their priesthood, the anointed “stones” of the Temple, slave for men; not only by purchasing “spiritual food” with money, but they have exchanged their devotion and dedication to the true God, for something men have created – the earthly organization.  (Rom 1:21-25; Rev 13:2,4,11,15-17)
So, yes, Jesus is now saying again, “Zeal for your house will consume me”.
1 Cor 3:17 – “If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”
Since each anointed one is God's "Temple", how do feel about your elder body replacing God's priesthood?
No, it's more like the Wt. is mocking the Body of Jesus Christ.  It is mocking God's new arrangement that Jesus spoke of that day, when he drove out the money changers from the existing temple.  You seem to believe the Wt. has replaced that early temple.  Well, it certainly has tried. (Dan 8:11) Too many who have left the organization now realize what the assignment of God's "living stones" is, and how Zion will rise above your "mountain".  (Isa 2:1-22)
Do you understand what Jesus meant?

Quote @César Chávez You blame Jesus for setting a standard of going to the Synagogue or temple for prayer and teaching.
Oh yes, that Temple was soooo important that GOD had it destroyed in 70 C E by the Romans.
I don't actually remember the Apostles building physical Temples. Do you know why ?
Simple answer. BECAUSE THE ANOINTED ARE THE TEMPLE. NOT A PHYSICAL BUILDING.
So now you have a problem because you are saying that 'a building' is important, BUT GOD did not defend that Temple made of stone.
GOD replaced that Temple with a spiritual Temple, that is the True Anointed Ones, the Brothers of Christ.

...or people can decide to not buy cars and go by foot :)) so they will not have problem with parking cars on wrong places.
This mantra about "core teachings". What is the real meaning of that phrase? What this have to do with JW's spiritual and real position inside WT Corporative Religion System? Do you obligated to listen and believe in some doctrines and/but not to others that are less "core"? Does your "unity" depend only on "core teachings" or on all doctrines that are "unique" only to JW Religion?
How you make choices and decisions that some teachings are core and other are not?
What about "to be faithful in small and large things"?
What GB doing in Warwick? :))
Russell, Rutherford and similar "fathers" ? Or today's  "fathers"? Does this time "of not to be afraid" is passed or will come in the future?
WT Lawyers and other Representatives"will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake", and give false, mislead and semi-true testimonies and claims.
Where GB beg for favor? UN, OSCE, Human Rights Institutions, Courts, Ambassadors,  Secular Presidents ..., etc?

Today I am 71 years old. And today I gave thanks and praise to Almighty God through Jesus Christ for either keeping me alive or allowing me to live this long. I gave praise for life itself and for the wonderful creation (which many people call nature) around me.
My wife bought me a card and put up a couple of balloons and made me an apple cake. No visitors, no fuss, but just praise to God and a little bit of fun.
It felt wonderful not to be under inspection from those Elders of the CCJW.  Not to have to OBEY the man made rules of the Governing Body.
Not to worry about some other JW grassing me up to the Elders for 'celebrating' the age i have reached.
I really do not miss all that misery of conforming to GB rules and Elders dominating me.
If I ever return to the CCJW it will be because the True Anointed have taken control of the earthly part of the Org, under the leadership of Christ, and balance has been obtained.
I have faith in God through Christ, that things will change in a very large way within the CCJW.  And if God allows me to live longer then hopefully I will see those changes.
Warmest Christian Love to all, JW or not.

The true core teachings in Jesus Christ and the apostles, have been taught and believed in, for the last 2,000 years.  It didn’t take an established religion to preserve those teachings, but only an individual’s heart inclined to follow them.(John 4:23,24; Matt 13:3-9) The faithful anointed and believers in Christ did not disappear after the apostles died.  Is that what you believe?  God’s “organization” has always been present in the faithful “living stones” of His Temple – His authentic Zion. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17)
Satan has upended this truth, by presenting established “Christian” religions with a centralized authority, since the first century.  Your religion is only different from other established “Christian” religions, because it has captivated God’s remnant “Israel” in the last days, the very people who are to worship only in spirit and in truth.  They gravitated to morsels of truth, and tolerated the made up stories that accompanied them. (Luke 22:31; Col 2:8; Rev 2:8-10; 13:10)
If someone offered you a pail of rotten food that smothered  chunks of fresh bread scattered throughout, would you eat it?  This is what you offer your ‘hearers’, and what you tolerate.  The Pharisees taught the laws of Moses, but Christ condemned them.  John told them “The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”  Mark 3:10    If the teachers of the law faced this condemnation, why do you believe that a few teachings of truth will save your teachers/”trees” and organization from God’s condemnation?  It shows that you put a higher value on man’s words, than the words of God and Christ.  Perhaps you put a higher value on your words, than those of Christ.
“Be careful,” Jesus warned them. “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.” Mark 8:15
You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 “‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
    9 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’”  Matt 15:7-9
33 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”  Matt 12:33-36
“Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.”  1 Tim 4:16

I doubt you even read the quote from Zechariah.  And, I believe you should research the meaning of the word, "truth".
"Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues."  Prov 10:19
    “Whoever would love life
        and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech."  1 Pet 3:10

@TrueTomHarley talks more rubbish again. To quote him
All are dings, dents, scratches, and pothole damage acquired by driving the cramped and narrow road over the decades. All could have been avoided by leaving the car parked and doing nothing. None are the core teachings of JWs, the combination of such teachings that are found nowhere else.
Lets us examine this statement of his.
Um, not exactly is it ?  What it is, is false teachings. Including 1914, in my opinion. The idea of Armageddon threatened many times. The 1960's false teachings about Armageddon and 1975 'Stay alive 'till 75'.  The teaching about 'One must be a baptised JW to be saved'. The wrongful use of words for baptism. The misuse of 'power' to disfellowship for no honest reason. And most importantly the GB exalting themselves to the position of the Faithful and Discreet Salve and in so doing 'beating up their fellow slaves'.
No as for core teachings, I would say that The teaching about 'One must be a baptised JW to be saved'. is a core teaching of JWs... And I would say that the GB exalting themselves to the position of the Faithful and Discreet Salve is a core  teaching of JWs..
    Next quote
The Name, the ransom, no trinity, no hell, earthly paradise, God’s kingdom as government, the preaching work, earthly resurrection, the reason God allows suffering explained—all core teachings that have been firmly in place for over a century.
The Name. That name was in use a long time before JWs existed, and that was why they chose it, because it was already known. I think they actually admitted that Yahweh was the true name but they chose Jehovah as it was well known and could be easily related to.
the ransom, no trinity, no hell, and I think these things were believed by others before JWs.
Now as for this bit  all core teachings that have been firmly in place for over a century.  So one might ask, what has the leadership of the CCJW been up to since 100 years ago.  And the true answer is, they have been busy making money and misusing people, and spouting lies and false predictions. Oh and Child Sexual Abuse of course.
BUT the Leaders / GB of the CCJW  have not served Almighty God. How do we know this ? Because they have not been inspired of God's Holy Spirit and therefore they have not been able to pass on true information from God through Christ.
The misuse of the Romans scripture 'Superior Authorities' was one of the biggest sins because it was used to give power to the leaders of the JW organisation at that time, showing lack of spiritual guidance and greed on behalf of those 'leaders'.
Back to our dear old Tom and i quote, an overriding desire to malign your spiritual betters.
'spiritual betters' Tom ? Aimed at Witness I know but who exactly are those 'spiritual betters' ?  Are you in fact placing your GB above all others ?  Um, isn't that worshipping them ?
Or is it referring to the True Anointed as a whole, you know, the ones I often mention ?
I'll leave everyone with a question. I'll quote Tom again here All could have been avoided by leaving the car parked and doing nothing.
So, which do you think God and Christ would prefer. Do you think they prefer the leaders of the CCJW to make things up as they want to and in so doing give false information, OR, do you think God and Christ would prefer that the leaders of the CCJW be humble and wait on God through Christ to give true information to feed the flock.
Please remember that at least half of the preaching work that has been done earthwide by JWs has been false information or even lies. They could have simply given praise to God through Christ but instead they pushed forward their own agenda.

If we were to analyze the aura of leadership in the organization, what do we find?
We find an ongoing history of false and failed teachings, which the scriptures refer to as “empty words”, and “bad fruit”. Each one is evidence of spiritual darkness. (Matt 12 :33-37; Rom 16:18; Matt 6:22,23; John 3:19; Eph 5:6)
We find its governing leaders admitting to having no spiritual inspiration from God – more evidence of darkness. (Micah 3:6; 2 Pet 1:20,21)
We also see that no matter the teaching or decree, it must be accepted and obeyed, according to a certain prominent leader who presently is receiving some ‘heat’ in the internet world. JWs abide by this rule, not only out of cautious fear of losing the life they know, but also to preserve any honor bestowed on them by men. (Prov 29:25; Isa 51:12; 1 Cor 1:20) (John 12:42,43; Mark 8:34-36; Isa 2:22; Rom.6:16; Gal.1:10)
It is taught that new decrees are from God, somehow reaching the dark minds and hearts of uninspired men. These men compare their authority to enforce their organizational rules, with the apostles, the inspired anointed prophets and teachers of the foundation of Truth in Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:28-30;2 Cor 11:12-15; Rom 16:17,18; Gal 1:6-9)
They, with Christ Jesus as the chief cornerstone, comprise the foundation of “living stones” of the Holy Temple of God. ( 1 Cor 12:28; 1 Cor 3:10; 1 Pet 2:4-6; Eph 2:19-22)
The organization’s illicit rulership assumes to have the supremacy to denigrate established truth and decrees in Christ, with additional decrees that benefit only the life of an earthy organization…and the desires of men. (Deut 12:32; Prov 30:5,6; Matt 23:42; 2 Tim 3:16; Gal 1:6-9)
This also, is oppressive, spiritual darkness. (Isa 28:10; Micah 2:1,2; 2 Pet 2:1-3,17)
“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them; 8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light 9 (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth)” Eph 5:6-9
So, tallying up just these three points shows us that spiritual darkness is exhaled by the leadership of the spirit-directed organization. (Rev 13:11,12,15-17) It is the “breath” of spiritual death. (1 Cor 2:6,7; Rom 1:21,22; 1 Tim 4:1,2,16; Eph 2:1-3; Rev 16:13-15)
Can the light of God’s Word ever be found in darkness? No. Spiritual light does not and will never, reside compatibly with teachings of darkness; teachings proven to be falsehoods. They are opposing forces. (Job 26:10; Ps 119:130; John 8:12; 2 Cor 6:14; 1 Thess 5:5)
“And this is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light and there is no darkness in him at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.” 1 John 1:5,6
Thus, God’s light in Christ’s teachings, would not exert any aura of power in the organization or its doctrines. (Acts 26:17,18; Heb 1:3; 4:12)

However, there is a definite aura emitted by the entire organization, that is seen not with the spiritual eye, but with the physical eye. It appears as light coming from God; when in fact, it also has its source in darkness. (Matt 24:23-26; Luke 21:8; 2 Cor 11:4,13-15; Rev 8:10,11)
Someone once stated, which I will call an equation, that money is equal to power - power makes the laws, and laws make the government. This is what the physical eye can comprehend and transfer, to the leadership and development of the organization. Certainly, the power of God and Christ is not dependent on money, nor will His Kingdom rely on it. (Matt 6:19,20; 1 John 2:15-17; John 18:36; Col 3:2) Yet, the governing leaders tell JWs that donated riches can “buy” one’s salvation; that one can “buy” friendship with God, by giving generously to the organization.
(This information is found in Wt’s publication, “Jesus – The Way, the Truth, the Life”, chapter 87, par. 8)
Men ruling in spiritual darkness, cannot exert their dominance or make laws for others to obey, without a first ingredient of this man’s equation – money. (Eccl 5:10; Matt 6:24; Luke 16:14,15)
“But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out. 8 If we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. 9 But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. 18 Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and willing to share, 19 storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of what is truly life." 1 Tim 6:6-19
And what is that treasure – that spiritual wealth, that builds our foundation leading to eternal life in the future? It is the light of truth in the Word of God, the fulfillment of God’s precepts in Christ, and our faith in them. (Ps 19:7-10; Isa 50:10; John 1:1-4; Matt 5:17-20; John 14:6; Luke 6:46-49; 12: 16-21; James 2:5)
The equation can be perceived in Satan’s words to Christ:
The devil took him to a high place and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in an instant. 6 The devil said to him, “I will give you all the power and glory of these kingdoms. All of it has been given to me, and I give it to anyone I please. 7 So if you will worship me, all this will be yours.” Luke 4:5-7
We are well aware that kingdoms and powers are sustained with money. The devil doesn’t hand over the cash, but he can give incentives on how to acquire it. In the visibly developed organization, JWs assist in this plan with their donations, which the organization then invests however they choose. (Isa 55:1,2) With their help, the growth of a governmental power ruling over them, has gradually gained a strong foothold. To put it bluntly, the leaders have stressed that without its members’ monetary help, their organization could implode, since they have ‘modestly’ stated that there is “more money going out that coming in”. (Eccl 5:10) What an ironic conjecture, for an organization that teaches it relies on God’s Spirit to direct it. (Phil 4:19)
Satan is the ruler of darkness. (John 12:31; 1 John 2:15,16; Eph 6:12) It is he, who has created the equation for men to rise in power over others.
Darkness is the oppressive aura that surrounds the organization and its leadership. It is an unlikely, yet effective demonic snare that the two Beasts of Revelation, presently working side-by-side…revel in. The prophesied snare has captured and conquered God’s holy people in the last days. (Matt 24:24; Rev 13:1,2,4-9,11,12) (Eccl 9:12; Luke 21:34; 2 Thess 2:9-11; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10)
This evil allurement is used to deceive and seduce the anointed priesthood into a sense of spiritual security. (Jer 14:13,14; Amos 5:18; 1 Thess 5:2,3) They, and all with them, engage in supporting and promoting the dual power over them – a false prophet/Harlot and the organization “she” directs. (Ps 49:5-9,12,13,16-20; Rev 13:11,12; 17:3-5; 18:4,5)
    Going back to Luke 4:5-7…
The devil took him to a high place and showed him all the kingdoms of the worldin an instant. 6 The devil said to him, “I will give you all the power and glory of these kingdoms. All of it has been given to me, and I give it to anyone I please. 7 So if you will worship me, all this will be yours.” Luke 4:5-7
We see that Satan as the “ruler of the world”, can indeed offer the enticement of riches and power. At that time period, the Pharisees were the dominant spiritual power over the Jews. Jesus called them the sons of the devil. (John 8:44) His oppressed people desired to see him replace their rule, and set up his kingdom on the earth. (Luke 4:16-21; Matt 4:23; Luke 24:21) Although he made it plain that his kingdom was not of this world, he was a threat to the Pharisees as people turned to him for truth about God, his healing miracles, and his promise of relief from oppression. (John 18:36; 12:19; Luke 20:20; Matt 11:28) Satan aided in the uprising, by offering Jesus a greater earthly rulership, with riches and power over the Scribes and Pharisees – a magnificent sprawling kingdom of spiritual darkness.
The “world” in Luke 4:5 is the Greek word, οἰκουμένη, can generally mean “the inhabited land”, or “inhabited earth”. God’s word tells us that the land and home He “inhabits”, is His possession - His holy chosen people. (Isa 43:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9;1 Cor 3:9)
The word for “kingdoms” in this scripture, can be translated as…
“royalty, royal power”, “not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom”
    οἰκουμένη:
    “All the inhabited earth"...
[literal Greek "being homed" (John 14:23; Rom 8:9; Ps 27:4; 1 Cor 3:16; 6:19; Ps 23:6; 26:8; Eph 2:19). Some translate as Matt 24:14 as "world" ("cosmos" in Greek) which is not the Greek word used there)]
The "inhabited home" refers to those who are unsealed, but are God's chosen people. Please read Jer 25:29,30. When God is referring to His whole People, He refers to them as His "filled home"/ translated, "all the inhabited earth". When He performs His will against this group, it is always His people...not Satan's entire "world" which are totally under Satan's control (1 John 5:19). When Jer 25:29,30 was fulfilled, it was fulfilled only with the Jews...not with the whole world.
    To clarify, God's people (1 Pet 2:9,10; Jer 32:37,38; 31:33; Ezek 37:27,23; 2 Cor 6:16; Heb 8:10,12; Jer 31:10,11) are His priesthood.  Pearl Doxsey

Jesus turned down Satan’s attempt to sway him with the desire of the eyes, dominion, and power on this earth, saying, ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”
And, just as Jesus experienced, every anointed member of his Body, also must face Satan’s test to be sifted “as wheat”. (Luke 4:6b; 22:31; Rev 12:17; 9:5,6,10,11)
Those who take the devil up on his offer, become the weeds that have allowed lies and fleshly desires, to choke out the words of Christ. (Mark 4:7,18,19; Heb 3:14) They are the “wolves in sheep’s clothing”, the false prophets that deceive the “elect”, and who distort the word of God with men’s doctrine and decrees. (Matt 24:24,25;7:15,16; Mark 8:36,37; 2 Pet 3:15,16; 2 Cor 4:2-4)
Their glory is seen by what money and power has brought them. It reflects an artificial light of “glory” from the father they worship. (John 5:44)
The faithful followers of Christ cannot be discerned by outward appearance, but by the fruit of their lips. (1 Cor 1:26-29; 1 Pet 2:5; Heb 13:15) Their teachings should reflect Christ’s truth, light and his glory. (John 1:14; 5:41; 17:22; 8:12; Rev 5:12; Matt 5:14-16)
I look at Luke 4:4,5 so differently now when relating it to today’s “Israel” who rule over God’s spiritual household. It isn’t just a leadership that has used Satan’s toolbox of riches and power to build a religious kingdom “government” in this world as we know it; but he has created his “high place”/”mountain” of authority, where his ministers are offered not only riches, but power and authority over God’s “inhabited earth” – the anointed kingly royal priesthood. (Zech 4:7)
God addresses “high places” of idolatry in the scriptures; and if we fall into idolatry, who are we worshipping? (Ps 78:56-58; Hos 10:8; Rev 13:4; 6:15,16)
The Beast of Revelation is Satan’s high place of idolatry. On the outside, it represents what riches can accomplish in the world of religions; on the inside, it represents Satan’s determination to destroy the last remnant of the anointed in Christ. He used both the temptations of the world, and corrupt men to destroy Jesus Christ when he was on earth. (Luke 4:13; John 13:27; John 14:30; 16:33; Rev 12:17)
It is the same scheme being used today, against those belonging to Christ. One JW told me just recently, that outside of the Wt., few even know what “anointed” is. I agreed and asked him how any other organization would know who the anointed are, in order to “tread” on the Temple members of God, “make war” and conquer the saints, as all of his leaders are already successfully doing. (1 Cor 3:16,17; Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-3,7; 13:6,7)
The Beast and false prophet have replaced the body of Christ, and Jesus as Head of his body. It is a counterfeit arrangement meant to replicate and replace the holy reality among the Chosen. The Gentile Beast is falsely given the power of the priesthood (through its Image as inspired)...power to "speak" for God, and to carry out judgment (Matt 24:15). And all that power and authority is rooted in the fallen anointed false prophet who bestowed it (Rev 13:12,15; 9:1,3; 17:3,6; Hosea 9:1; 4:12).

However, there are those who walk in Christ’s footsteps, and who gain victory over the Beast. (John 16:2,3; Heb 13:13; Rev 13:15; 11:7,11; 12:10; 15:2; 3:21; 5:9,10)
     “Praise Yah!
    Blessed is the man who fears YHVH;
he takes great delight in His commands.
    2 His generations will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches are in his house,
    and his righteousness endures forever.
    4 His light rises in the darkness for the upright;
He is gracious and compassionate and righteous.
5 It goes well for a man who is gracious and lends,
who conducts his matters in justice.
    6 For he will not be shaken forever;
the righteous will be remembered forever.
    7 He is not afraid of bad news;
his heart is steadfast, secure in YHVH.
8 His heart is sustained; he will not be afraid,
until he looks in triumph on his enemies.
    9 He gives lavishly to the needy;
    his righteousness endures forever.
His horn rises high in honor.
10 The wicked sees it and is vexed.
He gnashes his teeth and becomes weak.
The desire of the wicked perishes.” Ps 112:1-10

So, how is the announcement read when one is disfellowshipped?  Has it gone from...
"John Smith is no longer a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses"...
    to...
"John Smith is no longer an individual of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses"...
    or, is it...
"John Smith is no longer a publisher for the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses"?
One thing is for certain, they cannot say the Body of Christ comprises every JW now, since Rom 12:4,5 says,
"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
But, that's okay, because this scripture is about the anointed Body of Christ, which doesn't need to change meaning to accommodate men's unscrupulous principles in the court systems.

    First Amendment Annotated
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. - https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-1/
Can the question be asked: Is criticism of religion and pointing out the questionability of its dogmas the right of every believer in the US? or elsewhere? Or is it "hate speech"? When victims of abuse protest in front of a religious institution and seek answers and change is it reprehensible?
Why does the representative of the WT, who represents the only true religion that represents The Truth, not want to answer the question but refer to the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution?
JW "religious freedom" speaking about how all people who do not accept JW "Truth" are part of "God's enemies" and belong to "satan' world", and deserved to be destroyed. And how all JW's who left "organization" are mentally diseased", "despicable apostates", "bad society" and similar expressions, must be  "shunned" and will be destroyed because they are even worse than "worldly people". Is this sort of "free speech" also inside "full religious freedom"?
WT and JW members read text of Bible and they took the right to produce "judgement" on people in the name of God. Just like many believers before them, in various religions.
Please be realistic. What would the future of people in the "New World", who would not accept JW learning, look like?

In other words, your dedication to the organization,  your “vow” that you must keep as slaves to men, comes first.  (Gal 1:10) There is no “vow” that we make to God that requires turning down a job which will support a family.  JWs, can’t you see how easy it is for him to say this, a man who has all his needs fulfilled?    Can’t you see how cold-hearted it is to expect a family in need to put an earthly organization’s wants, ahead of one’s family?

@TrueTomHarley I can't believe how delusional you are.  False prophets are AMONG YOU.  Have you forgotten already, the long line of falsehoods your leaders have pushed onto the people?  And all failed?
Perhaps you could read from your organization's "Insight" Book about how to distinguish false and true prophets:
Insight on the Scriptures, Volume 2 p. 696-697
Distinguishing the True From the False. In some cases, such as that of Moses, Elijah, Elisha, and Jesus, God’s prophets performed miraculous works that attested to the genuineness of their message and office. Not all, however, are recorded as performing such powerful works. The three essentials for establishing the credentials of a true prophet, as given through Moses, were: The true prophet would speak in Jehovah’s name; the things foretold would come to pass (De 18:20-22); and his prophesying must promote true worship, being in harmony with God’s revealed word and commandments (De 13:1-4). The last requirement was probably the most vital and decisive, for an individual might hypocritically use God’s name, and by coincidence, his prediction might see fulfillment. But the true prophet was not solely or even primarily a prognosticator, as has been shown. Rather, he was an advocate of righteousness, and his message dealt primarily with moral standards and their application. He expressed God’s mind on matters. (Isa 1:10-20; Mic 6:1-12) Hence, it was not necessary to wait perhaps for years or generations to determine whether the prophet was true or false by fulfillment of a prediction. If his message contradicted God’s revealed will and standards, he was false. Thus, a prophet who foretold peace for Israel or Judah, at a time when the people were engaging in disobedience to God’s Word and Law, of necessity was false.—Jer 6:13, 14; 14:11-16.
Jesus’ later warning concerning false prophets paralleled that of Moses. Though using his name, and giving “signs and wonders to lead astray,” their fruits would prove them “workers of lawlessness.”—Mt 7:15-23; Mr 13:21-23; compare 2Pe 2:1-3; 1Jo 4:1-3.
The true prophet never foretold simply to satisfy human curiosity. Every prediction related to God’s will, purpose, standards, or judgment. (1Ki 11:29-39; Isa 7:3-9) Often the future events foretold were the consequence of existing conditions; as the people sowed, so they would reap. The false prophets lulled the people and their leaders with soothing assurances that, despite their unrighteous course, God was still with them to protect and prosper them. (Jer 23:16-20; 28:1-14; Eze 13:1-16; compare Lu 6:26.) They imitated the true prophets, employing symbolic language and actions. (1Ki 22:11; Jer 28:10-14) While some were outright frauds, many were evidently prophets who became delinquent or apostate. (Compare 1Ki 18:19; 22:5-7; Isa 28:7; Jer 23:11-15.) Some were women, false prophetesses. (Eze 13:17-23; compare Re 2:20.) A “spirit of uncleanness” replaced God’s spirit. All such false prophets were to be put to death.—Zec 13:2, 3; De 13:5.
Tally up the past frauds who directed your organization.  Picture the latest chart on "this generation".

You know what's ironic, is the updated version of the Shepherd the Flock Manual from April, 2020.  It has replaced the word for "member", with "individual" or "publisher".  I'm sure this is an attempt to weasel out of future lawsuits.
"Individual" - 1a: of, relating to, or distinctively associated with an individual  b: intended for one person c: being an individual or existing as an indivisible whole       2: having marked individuality, an individual style.         3: existing as a distinct entity : SEPARATE   We all are individuals, and we should be independent of another's spiritual demands made upon us. (Isa 2:22)  Individuals hold their own opinion and are not afraid to speak it.  How confusing it must be for JWs to realize they are no longer "members" of "Jehovah's organization", but are in the company of many individuals who happen to "associate" with an organization.    Can there be a "brotherhood", a unity of belief if all express their individuality separate from another?    As individuals, will they gain a voice after all?  Will they actually have the freedom to express their distinct spiritual entity? Will they finally use their ability to be independent spiritual thinkers, without any repercussions?     Under the present wide-sweeping leadership of the GB and elder body, it's not possible no matter what JWs call themselves.  The change, is simply for business purposes.

I think I know what you are insinuating. You might be thinking that the term is too loosely based. What if for example one religion's faith tells them to kill the infidel? In that case, obviously, that kind of religious freedom is dangerous. However, we know what kind of religious freedom Ms. Baran is talking about. She would be referring to religious freedom that does not violate human rights, or takes another persons life. This kind of religious freedom has existed in America since the First Amendment, and seems to be working just fine. Also, she is saying that although Russia supposedly has religious freedom, that can't be true if a peaceful religion such as JWs are banned.

This is essential to understand. Victims are victims, and abusers are abusers.
What with violent behavior in shape of shunning? If JW members use bullying behavior in the form of shunning, "social distance" toward ex members or "spiritually weak" members, we can name it as abusers/victims relation. If third party see this and want to stop such relations between them, what tool will they use? Legal, semi legal, illegal? Some western courts decided that JW internal policies (dogmas) are not of concerns for secular authorities and their citizens. Russian courts said opposite. Both decisions are legal according to different courts understanding and their laws.
What looks like understanding of individuals inside and outside JWorg? According to JW's belief system in "final day" god will violently destroy all violent people. And spare all victims? This illustration (in form of JW hope) shows how "violence" is justified if you used it against "abusers".
JW people are "neutral" in question of wars, revolutions and other "violent" changes inside societies. And want to be "peaceful", but resolutely refuse to change their "shunning policy" parallel with some other questionable directives and instructions.
Who is who in Russia or in US, Europe etc?

JW people are not independent in spirituality. And they accept this ideological aspect in their church, because independence is viewed as wrong and against God.
But :))), male members can choose, independently, colors of tie, .... but tie is mandatory. There is no negotiation about tie. If you want be on stage that will not be possible without tie. Or perhaps to give comment at meeting without tie as baptized member.   Teaching people how to "fish" independently, can be dangerous for teachers in WTJWorg :))

Yes. I think that you have hit upon the reason that the quote about peace and security was considered "Satanic." It was haughty in the sense of being far too optimistic and ambitious. Perhaps the words "supremely" and "vision" also give it a religious sense.
    "In+ these+ Goals+ and+ targets,+ we+ are+ setting+ out+ a+ supremely+ ambitious+ and+ transformational+ vision.+ We+ envisage+ a+ world+ free+ of+ poverty,+ hunger,+ disease+ and+ want,+ where+all+life+can+thrive.+"
Of course, we know from the context that we are likely trying to read into it things that just aren't there, if we try to make too much of the supremely flowery rhetoric.
But, do we really know what is the demarcation line for calling an organization evil and disgusting? Is it the grand scope of the optimism? The scope of the effort? Is this because they envisage the whole world to be better, not just limiting their efforts to a small country here and there?
We don't call a school teacher evil and disgusting if he or she spearheads a project for a cleanup of a park, or a tree planting effort. But what if all teachers in several different countries support the idea of an "Earth Day" where several hours of that day every year are used for the promotion of such projects? What if the teachers optimistically claim that such efforts will save the world from a climate crisis? What if it turns out that the funding and promotional materials for these "Earth Day" efforts come from policies and think tanks at a government level, and these governments are haughty enough to think they can achieve these good things without God?
(I noticed that even evangelists like Billy Graham and others have felt a need to counsel their audience that Earth Day is not evil. Here's another:
So should Christians care about Earth Day? Yes.The contemporary environmentalist movement has often been flawed and clumsy and sometimes evil, as any movement made up of fallen sinners tends to be. But, at the core of it, is a concept Christians ought to recognize.
But there is always a conspiratorialist somewhere who will be happy to find evil in anything. Here's an example:
Don Stewart’s letter (News Messenger, April 22, page A5, “Celebrate Earth and not Lenin”) argued that Earth Day is connected to Lenin’s birthday as both fall on April 22. Celebrating Earth Day shows you are a red Communist and plotting much evil in the world of capitalism.
Snopes.com even had to produce an article against that idea, since Lenin had supposedly murdered and "composted" his girlfriend. Other pro-capitalists found other political reasons for calling Earth Day "evil." https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2000/04/earth-day-evil/
The UN policymakers and think tanks look at the world as a bunch of projects. When they look at poverty, they see how some government policies have succeeded in a short amount of time in bringing very poor countries on their way out of poverty, from say 80% below a UN-defined poverty line only 8% still in poverty.  Or other countries bring the meaningful amount of free health care from 50% of their population up to 100%. Or free education of children that was available for 20% of a population is now available to 100%. So the UN recommends some of those same ideas to other member countries in such a way that doesn't bring any specific God or gods into the equation.
But for us, if the UN wants to promote projects they see as good, they will always be seen by some of us as "evil and disgusting." Even if member countries think this is a good thing in the eyes of their God, bringing God into the equation is a sure way of bringing prejudice and sabotage to these projects.
And what if they did bring God into the equation? Wouldn't that just make them more evil and disgusting in the sight of most of us? The United States Supreme Court and other government agencies put up a sign that says "In God We Trust." Does that make them any more or less Satanic in our eyes?
I know we don't tie the term Satanic to all political organizations and entities as we have done in the past, but especially when it comes to the UN, we are apt to use words like evil and disgusting. We can do this, while at the same time praising their efforts.
Rutherford looked at the British armies occupying Palestine in the early decades of the last century and saw them as the "disgusting thing;" "the abomination of desolation." At the same time the Watchtower temporarily praised the League of Nations, using words saying, in effect, that it was the political expression of the Kingdom of God on earth.
I see the United Nations as just another governmental organization about which we need to stay neutral. We can watch it as we would any government on earth. We can see its failures and see its successes. And we can see how people put too much faith in it, and their own governments. But if we start calling it specifically evil and disgusting then we are not neutral. We are not idolizing the UN if we point out its successes, just as we are not demonizing it when we point out its failures.

It is not. One thing flied through my mind about "throwing the food away". You can imagine the following situation: You work in a company, you are a hard worker, diligent, responsible and so on. The situation around you is such that other workers are waiting for their time to pass, they are not interested in the job, they do not have self-initiative, they do not care. Company management does not run a firm in a good way. After a lot of time in such a work environment, a diligent worker has had enough of everything and says: so what am I trying to do, why am I annoyed because of someone else's reluctance? And then because of that he raises his hands and lets some damage happen in the company or some work is not done. Perhaps some of these elders are also in such a mental state that they don’t care why the food box is thrown away.
Charity means helping. Each JW assembly is a "charity company". Not only do they help themselves but also others who are not "theirs".
