Personally I would never grab my jw.org button and pray to Jehovah with it. I would never wear it as a symbol of the Christ .  I would not hang it in my house or in my car for a form of protection. And I would only direct ones to it as a teaching tool that leads them to their bibles and the truth Jesus taught according to jehovahs direction. These are the last days and Jehovah is trying to reach every searching soul. Disciples of truth. Just my two scents?

A good soldier always follows his regimental flag. The Watch Tower Bible And Tract Society is our flag. w 1917 p318

  2. C. J. Woodworth was very important for the WT, so Important that we see him in the photo with the governing body  ... together with Rotherford in the book Proclaimers. So good brother he was that the WT chose him to write the 7th volume of the Studies of the Scriptures ... the Finished Mystery. But what is very interesting is that he was also under the influence of the demons ... he even admitted it in one convention and we have his words in writing -  Thirteenth Souvenir Convention Report, page 274.
While on the stand he also made advertisement of the books of the also demonic author (and worldly person)  Mary Baker Eddy. So when Jesus came as king in 1919 He would never chose a person like Woodworth. Yes but the WT put him in the position of the editor of Jehovah's magazines from 1919 until 1946. This is how the spiritual food came to Jehovah's witnesses except this food was not from Jehovah but from demons.

may I ask, what have you done to require such a trial?

I already told you... I ask many questions and some don't like this... and I know since the trials are in secret anything bad can happen to me even disfellowshipping for apostasy. Who will know the real facts behind closed doors?
I don't trust the elders or the organization.... And your answers make me even more suspicious.

in a previous question I gave you a fact and you all pretend you haven't saw.
" In the Greek Watchtower of 1970 page 766 we read about a homosexual brother who disfellowshipped for 3 years in advance".
So the Elders punish him unscripturally  for three years in advance and the Governing Body found it very wise to advertise it in the watchtower !
How can I trust after that the Elders or the Governing Body ??????????????

Giannis: In ancient Israel the congregation of Israel knew everything about everyone.

Eoin: It is not possible to support these statements with fact.

Well I gave you the quote from the Awake! magazine (Jan 22, 1981, p17) and you pretend you haven't read it: "there was no question about the trials being public"!
Also from the epistles of Paul and others we learn all the dirty secrets of brothers in the congregations. Note that the first Christians didn't have a Governing Body nor send their letters in secrecy. Everybody had the right to a fair public trial... Like all the servants of Jehovah in Israel before them .... otherwise Paul wouldn't have the opportunity to talk about something they didn't like when he came to the synagogues of Greece. But they herd him first and later they rejected him!
why I don't have the same right?
Hear me first and later judge me !
Do you have something to be afraid of?
Do you have something to be ashamed of?

  4. 1.The Elders in my area are old and uneducated. (but I feel they don't like disagreements anyway)
    2. I found disturbing cases on the Internet and I feel same rules will be applied to me too (if you question you will be disfellowshipped for apostasy).
3.I feel that I don't have rights. of course Ι will never go to the room alone only with elders. I see in the scriptures that it is my Christian right to ask for a public trial. please note that I don't ask the same for other cases - only for my case (maybe child molesters want secrecy so they can make it again in other congregations).

Just wondering what is the true motive of this post?

I was hoping to hear your opinions based on the scriptures...
In ancient Israel the congregation of Israel knew everything about everyone.
In the Christian congregation the same.
Jehovah's witnesses are Christians or not?
Jehovah's witnesses follow the scriptures or not?

I want to know before I disassociate my self from JW.
the elders don't like my questions.
    can you help?

By cross referencing the scriptures we arrive at the understanding as well as the J documents (J7,8,10,13-18,22-24)which confirm that Jehovah is meant at Romans 10: 13. But, maybe that discussion is for another thread.

I think God's name is meant, it is not meant the name "Jehovah".... there is another thread by me here:

I personally have not blocked you

Of course not you ... but someone who have access to the management of this forum did... without telling me anything. Just because i make questions he don't like.  He started by misplacing my questions... look here for example:

  7. No!
I will give a very simple explanation. The method takes for granted the amount of C in the air the time we want to find. But simply we do not know the conditions of the atmosphere before cataclysm. So the method is closer to reality for after cataclysm dates.

So, you do you believe psychiatric conditions are actually demonic possessions?

No I didn't say that I believe something like that !

This is not logical reasoning, using someone else's experience to suggest that it will be true in other cases. There's a reason that verse does not appear in the NWT sir.

this reasoning has been used by the JW.ORG publications all the time. As for the translation NWT ... is just a translation...
unfortunately I don't have demons dictate me whether a bible verse is true or false. Only "Westcott and Hort" had this ability ... oh yes also Johannes Greber and the New World Translation of Jehovah's witnesses.

As for the Matthew verse I don't think your problem is whether or not this is what Jesus taught because we can find similar words on Mark 9:29. I think your problem and the problem of the people you represent (JW.org) is the fact that the new testament don't teach to call on Jehovah's name but teaches to call on Jesus name! Because you don't want people to know that the name Jehovah is an imaginary name given by Masoretes in 10th century, without any power and use. Yes I saw with my own eyes that calling on the name you teach is useless. Only the name of Jesus was worthy of calling... praying ... and repenting. Of course I don't believe that Jesus is equal to his Father, but I do believe that to Jesus have been given the name above any other name. This is my humble opinion, you are free to agree or not.

    Still a DEAD LANGUAGE.

Sort of like ancient English, but *older*.

OR *every single Greek* person would claim biblical infallibility. But if you care to make a FULL TRANSLATION of the ENTIRE NT TEXTS and get them past translation reviews, I might change my opinion.  Until then, I hold my position.

    ha ha ha
who told you to speak in a dead language?
I just told you that I never cared what translation you use... and I never asked you such a question ... I don't understand why you answer me for questions I don't ask! ... or maybe I do ... maybe you want to confuse all those who read my posts and to take them in out of topic arguments!
with this kind of reactions I just become more sure that the JW.ORG is not from God !

PS. I pretty much never quote the NWT because of argumentative feedback. I use BibleHub or Biblegateway. Didn't you notice I mentioned (ASV)?

who cares what translation you use... I USE THE ORIGINAL TEXT IN "ΚΟΙΝΗ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ"

And thus, I showed you scriptures that indicate a waiting period *is* reasonable in order for the elders to attempt to ascertain the DF person's repentance.

And thus, I showed you that the scriptures that you gave me have no validity:

2 Cor 7:11-12 is out of topic also because the organized religion "helped" very much in the translation of the bible in English. In order to control the flock of God they even invented hell... an imaginary place of torture. Same way in order to control the disciples of Christ translated the word "συνεστησατε"  that means "presented" as "gave proof" that gives an entirely different meaning to the text. This is the past time of the verb "συστηνω" ... We use this verb to introduce one another.

Sorry I had to make new account in order to answer you... the old one is blocked partially.

  12. Dear JWtheologian I made this question that you just took part.... but I made a question... I didn't post anything (this is not a blog)... but to my question has been given the name "post" and transported from the QUESTIONS section here to the "Parking Lot for Controversial Posts". If I knew that my question would be transferred here I would never make it. In this section we read:"Only enter this section if you feel strong enough spiritually to defend yourself biblically. As you probably are aware, not everyone on Facebook, Twitter and the Internet is nice and civilized. Some are rather rude. You are hereby forewarned".
Isn't rude to transport questions that you feel is "Controversial" ?
So all the other questions that remained where they were from the beginning were not "Controversial" ?
Dear JWtheologian I believe that some people don't like to listen the truth and they even try to hide it... are you one of those people?
I even had to make new account in order to be able to answer to some of my own questions...
weird if you want "people to have the ACTUAL FACTS"

The evidence shows that many early Christians preferred yearly, and this makes the most sense

Hi from Greece Insider, and thank you for your reply, here the time is 19:00. Can you please give me something more solid? I want to prove to some eastern Orthodox Christians that Memorial should be celebrated annually. They say that the first Christians was taking from bread and wine every week on Sunday... or whenever they had meetings.
