Srecko Sostar got a reaction from BTK59 in Who is in a better ("stronger") position? Man or woman?
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. - Gen 3:16
What form of "patriarchy" is prophesied here? Jewish form ? 1st century Christian form? Catholic form? Protestant form? WTJWorg form?

It is not clear to me how you can call the transition from one distorted dogma to another distorted dogma "guidance and redirection from HS". lol

I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. Is there a recommendation to do something? Believe something?

This phrase "Why don't former members of Jehovah's Witnesses recognize the impact that other religions have on societies as a whole here?" is weirdly ambiguous.
On the one hand it claims that "former members" have a certain belief in common, namely some ambiguous "[a failure to]  "recognize the impact that other religions have on societies as a whole here"".
I don't know how anyone could know anything consistently true about ex-JW's other than that they are ex-JW's. Their reason for being ex-JW's varies, and how any of the business of being an "ex-JW" could be queried such that one could speak of them as a bloc in holding any given attitude about anything is beyond me.

Then it seems there's some squishy words which we're supposed to imagine flows naturally to "What are you doing about evil in the world?" Implying that some unclearly named others aren't, w/o making an explicit argument.

Then we're having our attention directed to a case of some nuns who have issues with their hierarchy, and somehow this is supposed to exemplify something, but what that is isn't clear either.

Then SS uses this as an opportunity to express himself, however how any of his expressions can in any way connect with the OP's ambiguous post is beyond me.

Maybe if I passed this through some gematria calculator, it will make more sense.

Turns out that phrase has the value of 8957, which is also tellingly the same numeric value as the phrase:

It sounds very reasonable, whether true or not true. If true, then there is the “problem” of say, as an example only, one might disfellowshipped for openly celebrating your childrens’ birthdays in 2026, and a week later it’s a “conscience matter. Or the blood issue, same thing.
It’s macavellian to make arbitrary rules  and regulation just for the purpose of intimidation and fear, but it is a common practice everywhere, and sometimes is fully justified.
To consolidate power and authority and fear for a school teacher is a good thing, and always necessary. My wife is a high school math teacher, in a school system that has abandoned that. Arbitrary rules heavily enforced and the fear it creates keeps the rug rats in line …. or used to.
To consolidate power and authority and fear of clerical authorities with arbitrary rules and regulations is not permitted in a religion where absolute obedience to TRUTH is what is required, and how a Congregation should be run and disciplined is given by Jesus in Matthew the 18th Chapter, and by his example.
Jesus didn’t even have a small suitcase, and certainly not multi-billions of dollars in real estate, or a private Jet. Or several.
i really don’t have any standing to pontificate about this, as I asked to be disfellowshipped, except on the basis of common sense… which often is not all that common.

Srecko Sostar reacted to Nobody You Know in New Light on Birthdays
I read on another site that at least one Bethel insider is saying that the Governing Body is going to start allowing birthdays. They say the Watchtower hired a PR/rebranding firm and has a 10 year plan to roll back doctrine and policies to become more mainstream. They are supposedly 2 years into the 10 year plan. Birthdays next with blood to follow, becoming "conscious matters".
    Has anyone else heard this?

…and the really sad part is … your agenda prevents you from telling the truth …
The question has become not “Can Satan tell the Truth ?”, but “Can George88 tell the Truth ?”.
So far, the answer is a documented (on this topic thread), “Never”.

Obfuscate, Obfuscate Obfuscate, divert, project and mislead and chatter on abouuuuuut …. NOTHING!
It’s a very simple question … with A VERY SIMPLE ANSWER!
    NO.
(… the answer shown below did not even address the question.)
INSTEAD… we get THIS “word salad” blather!
Even if Georgie believed the answer was “Yes”, a “Yes” with follow up facts to support the opinion would have been honest.
    …. would have been.

    Projection is not Proof, Georgie.
It’s people like you who had Sir Thomas More executed for remaining silent when accused of treason.
His persecutor and prosecutor Cromwell, was executed 5 years later for treason.

Only a Liberal agenda driven Moron could misunderstand THAT.

If I am interpreting correctly, you will engage in agreement with every Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and Hindu who has not renounced their faith, beliefs, but you will not engage in agreement on anything with a former JW. .... lol
Dualism is necessary, because without it we would not be able to see the opposite. If there are no lies, there is no truth. Without darkness there is no light. Etc.
Everything would be a long straight line that proves nothing.

I was at a stoplight, when this scraggly non-Caucasian with some brochures and a can motioned for me to roll my window down
He was asking for contributions to the BLFM, and I put two dollars in his can.
as he turned, a I asked “What is the BLFM?”.
He replied “Better Lunches For Me”.

Hiding and holding the truth out is often the hallmark of GB members and their lawyers. So I agree with you on how important this issue is.
    Ok. Give some interpretations, please.

Satan as Lucifer was supposed to teach humanity about God, and other stuff, and from the time of his creation by Jesus as Michael sometime after the Big Bang, told the truth.
That’s why he was there in the Garden of Eden.
This is how simple things become when TRUTH IS YOUR GOAL, and not your AGENDA … and you ask the right questions.

The right answers JUMP OUT AT YOU!

You asked a good question. As far as I know from the Bible, no angel ever sounded the alarm. Were angels not present during the conversation between Satan and Eve? If they didn't, then nobody knew what was going on. If one of them listened to it and did not react, then one must ask why?
Yes, since Satan initiated the process of deception, it stands to reason that all his words thereafter become suspect. However, this does not prove that he was not telling the truth before that unfortunate event. It also doesn't prove that he can't decide to start telling the truth. Because you yourself say that it's all a matter of choice.

Every intelligent creature created by God with free will is capable of telling truths and lies. What is unclear about that? Or what in that conclusion is contrary to the words of Jesus?
Perhaps, if you want a different answer, you should ask a more adequate, more accurate question.
