I couldn't help but think of the irony here.  What makes a JW vulnerable?  Having complete trust in the GB.  One would be vulnerable to the the results of their misguidance, which they admit, can happen.
Yes.  On so many fronts, they are dealing with opposition and outcry against their leadership.  Mr. Glockentin gave three ways that "Lies create doubts and destroy trust".
"Outright lies" - each false prediction and false doctrine in the organization fits this category
"Cunning reasoning" - 'if Jehovah and Jesus trust the slave, shouldn't you?'
    Here's another -
The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err indoctrinal matters or in organizational direction. In fact, the Watch Tower Publications Index includes the heading “Beliefs Clarified,” which lists adjustments in our Scriptural understanding since 1870. Of course, Jesus did not tell us that his faithful slave would produce perfect spiritual food. So how can we answer Jesus’ question: “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?”  Wt 17/2 p. 26,27
"Easy solutions with empty promises" -  his own quote:

Of course, he was referring to the media's "fake news" and the "misinformation" from apostates.
He stated, that the "greatest lie in the near future" is that of "peace and security".  It is "fake news and many, most people will believe it".  Well, if you're are a part of the only "way to succeed", wouldn't you have inner "peace and security" knowing that you will be led safely through the great tribulation?

“ When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come, make us gods **WHO WILL GO BEFORE US.**” Exod 32:1a
“So Moses went back to the Lord and said, “Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold.” Exod 32:31

Just recently on a jw video, Gajus Glockentin, a GB helper, said:
“LIES CREATES DOUBTS AND UNDERMINES OUR COMPLETE TRUST IN THE GOVERNING BODY.  THIS MAKES US VULNERABLE”
Vulnerable to what? To learning the truth about the idol JWs follow?  That trusting the GB is following blind men into a pit? Matt 15:14 Obviously, this is damage control resulting from the release of Furuli's book.
    He continues:
“Jehovah will use his **organization** to **LEAD US** through the great tribulation. THERE IS JUST NO OTHER WAY TO SUCCEED”
This is a lie, and it definitely should create doubts in the JW mind.  It is no different than the rebels under Moses creating a golden calf to LEAD them, "GO BEFORE" them,  through the wilderness.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”  Matt 11:28-30
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”  Matt 17:20

The GB has lost any Holy Spirit they may have been given.  I do believe that there are men on the GB that were genuinely anointed, but I have my personal doubts about all of them receiving an anointing.   Who would know, since their “anointing” is kept a secret?
What are the signs of one losing Holy Spirit? The pursuit of power, dominance, and material riches. Do they not have access to all of that?  Power, to decided what their brothers in Christ are to do and preach?  What to build, where the money goes, etc?  They assumed the position of a "faithful slave" over the house of God.  Isn't that to be Christ's choice and revealed when he returns? It's pretty bold of them to assume they are the faithful steward when what they offer as "food", rots while it sits on the table. (John 15:16; Isa 28:7-10) And shouldn't that be up to the individual who is admonished by Christ, to test the fruits /teachings each slave offers? (Matt 7:15-20)  Since they walked into that role, with "new light" up their sleeve, they are indeed, "wicked".
“The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 If you worship me, it will all be yours.”  Luke 4:5-7
Compare that scripture with Jesus’ words in Matt 6:19-21 - "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”.   The GB treasure their organization of material riches.  They “treasure” their assumed responsibility over God’s household. (Luke 12:42)  Jesus would not have warned of a wicked slave/steward rising over God’s anointed house, if it were not a possibility. After all, it was he, a perfect being, who was initially offered those “gifts” by Satan.  How much harder would it be for a human to resist Satan’s temptation?  (Matt 24:45-51)
“I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. 10 So when I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church.”  3 John 1:9,10
The GB has no desire to “welcome” the anointed in Christ. They fully reject their opinion, turning to a “Gentile” elder body for assistance, to produce spiritual food.   Are their actions of disfellowshipping any different than what Diotrephes did?
They preach a “different Jesus”. (2 Cor 11:4) HE should be the focus; instead, THEY are the focus.  All obedience is given to them, over Jesus Christ. They have replaced the “Head” of the Body, thus severing themselves from Jesus.
“ They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.” Col 2:19
“You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”  2 Pet 3:17,18
Just because an individual is anointed, it doesn’t mean they are all found to be “faithful” slaves when Jesus returns.  (Matt 25:26-30)
If they had remained part of the Body, the vine of Christ, the spirit would have led them to seek out all anointed in the organization.  As humans, we would dread losing one of our physical bodily appendages.  Spiritually, all anointed should desire to seek out the “members” of Christ’s body.  (1 Cor 12) And yet, the "rule" is that they should not "BOND".  Surely, you should ask, why.  Their bonding together would threaten the GB's headship over them.   I speak here, knowing there are anointed listening in.  It is my prayer that they wake up and get away from the wicked rule of the organization. This includes everyone.  Rev 18:4-8

That is exactly how I feel. I hazzard a guess that I'm not the only one. It has actually been one of the things that I have found difficult to get my head around. I am glad that others see this paradox as well. What I find concerning though is when the same people who see the illogicality of it will then say something to the effect that they will just obey regardless. That's a bit scary.
I like the way you explained what you think might have been the steps to rectify this situation. I meant to reply to your other comment a few days ago, just haven't got around to it yet!

@Anna  Quote "they will just obey regardless. That's a bit scary."
I think you have got it in one.   That is the stupid sheepness of many JW sheep.
They are blinkered. They do not look outside the box.
But i will admit that for many years of my life I was one of them.
Moses could easily be seen to have God's guidance. The GB cannot be seen to have God's guidance simply because they do not have God's guidance.
Moses was chosen by God. The GB were not chosen by God. By their works you will know them.
How can any JW sheep condemn a Catholic for believing in the Trinity. it is what they are taught from birth. A JW that just follows blindly is as bad as a Catholic that just follows blindly. They both have their faith in Men.

“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
Luke 21:2 - “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings (false priests) and governors (GB), and all on account of my name."
John 16:2 - "They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God."
Heb 13:13 - "Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore."
Does this happen to JWs?  Are they “thrown out of the synagogue”, the Jewish meeting places?  Or, are individuals thrown out of the organization where the majority of God’s anointed “Jews” reside?  One can easily be disfellowshipped, considered spiritually “dead”, for turning solely to Christ Jesus.  (Rev 13:15)
14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.
Spiritual “murder” is committed daily by the organization. In Russia, the act of disfellowshipping – the breaking up of families -  is considered extremism.  For that, JWs “suffer”.   Thievery is a daily occurrence as the sheep are expected to support with their labor and money, a falsehood known as “the truth”.   2 Thess 2:9-12
16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, (the anointed) what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
The judgment begins with the anointed spiritual house of God. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17;Eph 2:20-22)  Will they be foolish and remain under the rule of a wicked slave and its elder body, continuing to “buy” their spiritual oil from the wicked slave? (Matt 24:48-51) Or, will they suffer for turning to their Head, Jesus Christ, and enter the Marriage Feast? Matt 25:1-13
     18 And,
“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,
what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”  1 Pet 4:12-18
So, I am guessing you really believe that God will turn a blind eye to the organization’s sins – the same sins that are committed by others in the world, just because 8 million people call on the name of “Jehovah”, yet put total faith in an earthly organization.
Who, what, is your ROCK?  A "mountainlike organization"? or, the Almighty God?  We cannot slave for two masters.  Matt 6:24

According to WTJWorg interpretations of Bible, event you mentioned is future event an fulfillment, hypothesis, of Bible prophecy. It is interestingly that satan who allegedly created "all religions on earth" want to destroy own kingdom ?? I don't understand this logic. I would understand  that he want to destroy JW religion because, hypothesis, JW religion is his enemy, but why would he destroy own lies??
No. That mean you have to pay own lawyers and fight against WTJWorg Australasia in individual court case. And WT Lawyers have more money than individual victims.
    ARC is not "kangaroo court".
ARC established, according to WT Branch Office cca 5000 documents - 1006 perpetrators in WT archive documentation and 1800 victims.
I wonder what sort of "court" is "kangaroo court"?
JW Judicial Committees from 1950 to 2015 or ARC in 2015 ??

Why this is not enough for you, but you ask for more? :)) Act  chapter 2 is enough for me to put your claim (and JW's claim) into question. It seems you don't believe in Act chapter 2 as answer for Last Days "inspiration". "Last Days" started, according to WTJWorg and JW members, in 1914. You defending JW Truth. Do you stand for their truth about 1914 as start point for "Last Days"? If you do, what is problem when Act chapters 2 said how God will "inspired" "all people" in "Last Days" (from 1914 on)?
If 1914 is starting point to "Last Days", according to official doctrine in JW Church, how it is that JW Church denies Act 2:17 as part of "Last Days" fulfillment?
You have problem, not with my reading Bible verses, but with your reading Bible verses and statement you made:  there are NO inspired prophets that came forth after Apostle John ...
and with Act chapter 2: In the last days, God says  I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Do we living in "Last Days", as your JW friends claims? If you agree with your JW friends you will also say, "Yes".
Now, you and your JW friends need to find consensus about Act 2 17. About what "Last Days" is about in this verse and when this "Last Days" started or will start? Am I missed the point?? :)) Or you?
When you answer on first part of enigma than second part will be normal component, constituent part of "Last Days".

I am not here to defend her or your opinions and statements. I don't know is she inspired or not. But i can comment your comment about her. For example Act chapter 2 is interesting for this subject.

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost
2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.
explanation about this is given in next verses:
These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
        and they will prophesy.
Writer of Act book said two interesting information:
    1) Year 33 AD is LAST DAYS period
    2) "ALL PEOPLE" (young, old, men, woman) and "MY SERVANTS" will be inspired by HS
Does people today living also in "LAST DAYS" ??  Do we have more than one "LAST DAYS" period/s? "Overlapping Last days"?? :)) "new light"
What is difference between? Who are  "ALL PEOPLE" and who are "MY SERVANTS"? Is this people in the same religion or are they various people around the globe?
WTJWorg GB making strong claim how it is impossible to be inspired by HS today, because that was only unique for 1st century Congregation. On other hand GB Stephen Lett claims how we today living in Last days ("the final part of last days", "the final part of final part of the last days")))))). - short video of his famous statement     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mrges_TxOzQ
It is obvious how all of them "evangelize"something . And they make testimony for Jesus. At the "end of the day" Jesus is, according to Bible, the one who is in capacity to say:
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. -  Matt 7
Well SM, are you really ready to take Jesus role and make judgement about her evangelizing, anointing and to conclude she is or she is not inspired ?? :)))

Covid 19 is an interesting phenomenon. Even more interesting is how science and authorities reacted at the start of the pandemic, and how they are doing it today or how they will do it tomorrow. The instructions are similar but still different in scope and application from country to country.
I am not sure in what way GB gives instructions regarding Covid, because all sources about Covid comes from science, medical experts and secular authorities. GB "instructions" are based on secular sources NOT on guidance from HS. How Covid 19 worldwide instructions can be interpreted within, in conection with the two religious doctrines uttered by GB.

The first is: Watchtower 13 11/15 p. 20 par. 17 Seven Shepherds, Eight Dukes—What They Mean for Us Today ***
At that time, the direction that you receive from Jehovah’s organization may seem strange or unusual. But all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether we agree with them or not.
The second is: Watchtower 2009 Feb 15 p.27 "Since Jehovah God and Jesus Christ completely trust the faithful and discreet slave, should we not do the same?"
I don't know exactly what instructions JW's received and receive today about Covid, but how is possible to connect this pandemic episode (not first not last in history) with "spiritual food" and "life saving instructions" from GB when, normally, all about Christian life or JW life is about to stay faithful to JHVH and Jesus in "universal issue".
To stay health despite pandemic or to be ill because of pandemic, is not "universal issue".  And by that, "obedience" (or disobedience) to GB instructions about Covid can't be part of this "universal issue" as was explained in many WT publications.
THE universal sovereignty of the Creator of heaven and earth is the foremost issue before men and angels. - https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1990488

Oh dear Arauna. If it was only JWs that were being persecuted earth wide then you would have a point, but lots of religions are being persecuted earth wide. I used to look around at the last congregation I was in, and think to myself, would they last out, would they stay faithful if persecution came. Many of them used the congregation as a social club, it was such an easy lifestyle here in England. None of them conscious of CSA problems, so none of them worrying about abuse on the doors. But I think you are looking forward to persecution the way you write it.

It turns out that there may be no more place to hide even if you flee.  Soon the world authorities want to tag all of us electronically... and you will not be able to hide. Prison may be a place where we will be together - like Rahab and her family were together when the walls fell around them at Jericho.  Witnesses looked after each other in Nazi camps before …. so we can help and strengthen one another together.  Will you be one of those who help to put us in prison and feel vindicated when we are put in prison?

I want to relate something here which my wife and I found interesting. I have just been sat at our kitchen table with my wife and our son. My son went out yesterday and met up with a friend and they were talking about families and household situations. Who is speaking to whom and who isn't etc. My son happened to mention that I am an ex JW and therefore many people will not talk to me. He didn't mention anything else. His friend then mentioned this BOOK and mentioned the ARC and CSA. His friend knew all the abreviations and what they meant. Now I found that interesting because my son is not really interested in it, only in as much as it involves our close family.  But his friend watches videos and reads news articles all about the situation and knew a lot about it. His friend is not a JW and not an ex JW, he just has an interest in things going on in the world. Now Arauna does this as do many JWs. They keep on the watch. And this young man seems to be doing likewise.  BUT, if a JW should knock at his door, i do wonder what his reaction will be. It brought out to me, that people 'in the world' are aware of the 'problems' in the CCJW, and those 'problems' will of course cause a stumbling block to many. Yes JWs may go from door to door preaching, but do those same JWs realise how much information the public already has. A, it will cause people not to listen to the 'message' and B, it could cause abuse towards the JWs knocking on doors.
