When using the actions of 'the world' to make excuses for the actions of one's own religion then In My Opinion (and I am allowed an opinion) it makes them part of the world.
To say that everyone else does this or that, is judging one's own standards by 'worldly standards', not by God's standards..
For instance, saying that CSA is everywhere in 'the world', is not a good enough reason to accept it in one's own religion. And to say that everyone else misquotes scientists etc, is not a good reason to think that deliberately misquoting someone is good.
Jehovah's Witnesses think that their Organisation's standards are higher than the standards of 'the world'. This is being constantly disproved, not only by 'opposers' but by JWs themselves. Therefor the CCJW Organisation, like most other religions, is just part of the world.
The Spirit of this world includes, telling lies, being deceitful, hiding the truth, being dishonest, lacking love and mercy and mistreating others. Many Jehovah's Witnesses, from the top downwards, are guilty of these things. Hence i say that they are part of this world.

Yes, it is interesting that only Abraham was "voiced" as God's  friend.  Yet, His expressions of love, especially for "Jacob"/Zion,  is stated all over the Bible.  Deut 7:6-9; 1 Kings 10:9; Ps 47:4

It is possible to look on this and similar situations in WT history as in case below:
Mi·caiʹah then said: “Therefore, hear the word of Jehovah: I saw Jehovah sitting on his thronep and all the army of the heavens standing by him, to his right and to his left.q 20  Jehovah then said, ‘Who will fool Aʹhab, so that he will go up and fall at Raʹmoth-gilʹe·ad?’ And one was saying one thing while another said something else. 21  Then a spirit*r came forward and stood before Jehovah and said, ‘I will fool him.’ Jehovah asked him, ‘How will you do it?’ 22  He replied, ‘I will go out and become a deceptive spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’s So he said, ‘You will fool him, and what is more, you will be successful. Go out and do that.’
Even the most ignorant JW bible scholar could be able to understand this .... IF he apply it to themselves ---- JHVH already allowed deception on "chosen nation" before, why He could not do it again?

I believe how more practical reason for such "resisting" would be in this: If you give advice to someone, you bear responsibility for content of advice if person implements it in own life situation and things go bad.

It's a little bit like the way the Watch Tower publications used J.A.Bengel, above, completely out of context on his point about the Hebrews believing a generation was 75 years. First of all the statement was completely false. And his context was only that it fit the time from Jesus' birth to the year 70. If you read the entire reference, you can see that it's just as much about how Jesus' words would fit the period of 40 years from the year 30 to the year 70. And that it would fit the 75 year idea, too.
@JW Insider  This is what you wrote. So, you seem to be saying that the W/t took it completely out of context, and that the statement was completely false. Is my assumption correct ?
Now the Organisation / Watchtower / CCJW / GB are supposed to be 'spirit directed' is this correct ?
If you add what TTH said to what you said then I cannot see any direction of Holy Spirit at all.
You and Tom really do seem to forget that you are talking about, what is supposed to be the Faithful and Discreet Slave, giving the proper food at the right time.
This organisation you belong to is supposed to be the 'one and only Truth', but it is full of un-truth as you keep telling us all so clearly.
Another quote "but chronology is one of those things that we still carry on from traditions that go back nearly 150 years now. "
Traditions of men ?   Wasn't that a fault of the Jewish religious leaders ?

That is so funny. No more than a month ago I was talking with an Elder on the telephone and I asked him about his view on something. His reply was that he would have to go and do some research on it. I wanted HIS viewpoint, not the Org's viewpoint, but i do know that JWs are told not to give their own personal viewpoint on anything relating to the Bible or the Org.  (been there, done that)

I don't know where to begin.    Firstly, he mentioned "reinstatement" here:
When this actually happen, we don't really know.  He said above, "I have come to the conclusion that logic and reason is not the end-all that I had aspired to, and that all things being considered, it would have been better for me to be "Brother Watchtower", than the man I have become."
Perhaps since this reinstatement, he cannot fully accept the organization that you believe he should accept,  because he sees hypocrisy.  Anyone who can perceives this, has a conscience.
One JW here that I am certain you well respect, stated once that Christ transcends the organization.  If Christ does, so does God; which means that "Jehovah's organization" is not salvation.  You fit the term "Brother Watchtower" to the tee, since you cannot see this.  As much as I care for you also, I see your blindness toward scriptural truth.
Secondly, I am finding that many JWs have this agenda to personally ridicule anyone who rejects "organization" and brings out solid facts as to why.  They are not rejecting God or Jesus.  Your response in this regard is to ridicule the person and not the information they may provided. You can call me anything that comes to your mind, Tom. (and you have)  But, it really doesn't give you any ammunition of worth, unless you bring scriptural facts of the contrary, to the fore.
One more thing, since I have your attention:
Don’t assume that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to turn
    a man against his father,
    a daughter against her mother,
    a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
    36 and a man’s enemies will be
    the members of his household.
37 The one who loves a father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; the one who loves a son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And whoever doesn’t take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Anyone who finds his life will lose it, and anyone who loses his life because of me will find it.  Matt 10:34-39

Yes @Space Merchant I do realise that Jesus has all authority and power given to him and that he leads God's people by the use of Holy Spirit.
The point i was making was that a person does not need to be guided by the CCJW or Watchtower or their GB.  I think in part you would agree with this ? You yourself are not a JW but you feel you have a close relationship with God through Christ.
Mr Harley seems to feel that a person has to be a JW and work inline with that organisation to be able to serve God.

@TrueTomHarley   He lost all his kids—none will speak with him. And for what? So as to spread every opposition taunt and insult about the earthly organization that Witness and 4Jah and Srecko and Shiwiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and Matthew4 5784 are perfectly content and capable to spread?  That is worth losing your family for?
You are a writer, and like many writers you write in riddles. But the gist of the above is that James spread every opposition taunt and insult about the earthly organization that Witness and 4Jah and Srecko and Shiwiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and Matthew4 5784 are perfectly content and capable to spread?
James spoke truth. He didn't shy away from it. And if his children turned away from him for his speaking truth, then his children are at fault, not James.
And if you are still so spiritually immature that you need to be 'bottle fed' by your GB, and if you are brainwashed into believing that the CCJW have God's approval, then you seriously have a problem for yourself.
Its a good job the disciples didn't feel that they still needed to be bottle fed by the Scribes and the Pharisees after Jesus was no longer on Earth. After Jesus had been resurrected to heaven the disciples had no leader on earth. They relied on being guided from above, by Holy Spirit.

As far as I know (I do not know the exact history and origin of such a calculation) a period of one year or 12 months is the framework for measuring the term - generation. So, all persons born within those 12 months of a given year can be considered to be one (1) generation. Every person born after December 31st in a given year, becomes part of some other generation from the following year with the date of January 1. This is a normal and common understanding of the term generation. And it works still today between people with normal, common sense. :)))
Everything else one wants to add as an explanation for the purpose of defending the idea of GB about the "overlapping generation" is nothing but religious entanglements that should support a failed organized-religious concept of a failed ideology that is still alive in WTJWorg.
Most here have finished high school. When you graduated, what generation of graduates were you? What generation of graduates do you still belong to today? To my generation, was born in 1961? Or my father generation who was born in 1923? ............. Or you belong to both (triple) generations of graduates in the same time because you were born in 1949?

"Generation" is cluster (of people) around major historical events.
"Historical generation" are people who have an experience or a series of experience.
In both examples we see how center of attention, limelight are not people but events or in Bible terminology "signs".
But, are they, "signs" in the eyes of the beholder trustful, reliable measure for conclusions? And as you mentioned before, what "signs" and events truly speaking? Are they beginning of start point or beginning of end point? Or, are they a means for help, for understanding  that it will become more difficult for each generation in each subsequent period marked by new and uncertain things, events, circumstances?
Things can going from bad to worst, and they going in that direction for centuries. But also, we see how some things went from bad to better. It depends, all is in the eyes of beholder.

True. And that Revelation book was written at the same time as the 1989 article when a lot of these "hints" of world disaster from outsiders were highly prized. I think that change you mentioned was made around 2006. But it reminds me that the Society put out a new edition of the "Truth" book in 1981 even though we never did much with it. The time for the original "Truth" book (1968) had already passed, and this update was well nigh ignored compared to the original. And the edits were all focused on getting rid of the quotes from scientists or authors who had directly or indirectly pointed to 1975. (But replacing them with just enough space to replace only those parts so that most of the pages could be reprinted without redoing the pagination of whole book.)
So it's a matter of just how many selective quotes were selected from those "some scientists."  After a while the purpose of those quotes tells more about the selector than the scientists, especially because we could have found just as many or more who believed that science would resolve life-threatening problems.
Back when we believed it was important to remind people that man had been on the earth for 6,000 years, the publications even looked for quotes that dropped that hint, and then italics might even be added to make sure readers noticed the reference to "6,000 years." Here's one from 1975:
    *** g75 8/22 p. 20 Is the Industrial Way of Life a Failure? ***
Psychoanalyst Erich Fromm declares that the current sicknesses of industrial society can be dealt with “only if the whole system as it has existed during the last 6000 years of history can be replaced by a fundamentally different one.” [Italics ours]
Fromm saw no particular significance in the number 6,000. But we certainly did.

The idea of 75 years, supposedly found in the Seder Olam, was not there in the original Seder Olam (Rabbah) from the year 169 CE. It's not even in the most expanded version of the Seder Olam (Zutta) from 804 CE. (I took the picture from his 1862 version of his work on New Testament words. The 1877 version had changed Hebrews to Jews, but still contained false information about the supposed 75 years:

The footnote (2) in the above is not about the 75 years but about how in the 40 years leading up to Jerusalem's destruction in 70, that there were earthquakes and famines and pestilence and war, just as Jesus had predicted.
I point this out because it shows how easy it is to start selecting specialists and scholars (even if one needs to go back to 1862) to find a "fact" that isn't even a "fact" to support chronology. It seems important to me, because of the potential for doing this all over again with 2034 or the "devil in the details" behind Splane's chart.

I don't recall that particular context. But I didn't include all the quotes from Wohl either. Also, if it were Wohl, he didn't say it until 1980.
I noticed that there were several interesting quotes about the "industrial age" and "industrial revolution" that could be implied to fit what you (and Wohl) are saying, but I didn't see the one in the place where you saw it.
This reminds me of another thing the Society said about the "generation." It's definitely not the quote you are looking for, but it reminded me about the kind of generation that Arauna mentioned:
    *** g88 4/8 pp. 13-14 The Last Days—What’s Next? ***
How Long Can a Generation Last?
The American Legion Magazine pointed out that 4,743,826 U.S. men and women had participated in World War I. But in 1984 only 272,000 remained alive, and they were dying off at an average of nine every hour. Does that mean, then, that the generation of 1914 has already disappeared?
The Greek word for generation is geneá, used by Matthew, Mark, and Luke in their accounts of Jesus’ words. It can have different applications according to the context. However, The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology defines it as: “Those born at the same time . . . Associated with this is the meaning: the body of one’s contemporaries, an age.” A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament states: “The sum total of those born at the same time, expanded to include all those living at a given time generation, contemporaries.” These definitions allow for all those who were born around the time of a historic event and all those who were alive at that time.
    J. A. Bengel states in his New Testament Word Studies: “The Hebrews . . . reckon seventy-five years as one generation, and the words, shall not pass away, intimate that the greater part of that generation [of Jesus’ day] indeed, but not the whole of it, should have passed away before all should be fulfilled.” This became true by the year 70 C.E. when Jerusalem was destroyed.
Likewise today, most of the generation of 1914 has passed away. However, there are still millions on earth who were born in that year or prior to it. And although their numbers are dwindling, Jesus’ words will come true, “this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.” This is yet another reason for believing that Jehovah’s thieflike day is imminent. So, what events should alert Christians watch for?. . . “Peace and Security” . . .
For anyone who wants to do the math puzzle, there must have already been just about no one left from this number of persons still surviving who had participated in WWI. (Assuming there were 272,000 dying at 9 per hour since 1984.) That was near the end of 1984, because although it doesn't say, the American Legion article is from their December 1984 issue. So since there are 24 hours a day for 365.25 days every year, multiplying by 9, and carrying the 1, there would be 78,894 dying every year and, therefore, they would all be gone by April 15, 1988. And this article came out in the April 8, 1988 issue!  And it was in March 1988 that the Awake! magazine had just begun adding the following to the inside masthead about "the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away." (That statement was in every issue for the next 7 and one-half years.)
And, of course, it was just a few months later when the January 1, 1989 Watchtower indicated that Armageddon would be here by the year 2000. Someone caught that mistake in just enough time to remove it from the bound volume and the Watchtower Library CD.
Of course, people don't really die off at constant rates like that (9 per hour), but I get the impression that someone was watching those numbers from that American Legion article a little too closely, perhaps from the time it came out. It's like you joked about before, about waiting for the last person to die off. (At least, I hope you were joking!)
In fact, in the article above, it was the first time that the number 75 had been used for the "Hebrew" length of a generation, based on something this scholar named Bengel had said. And the scholar was actually referring to the highly discredited Seder Olam. And, of course, the Seder Olam doesn't say anything about a generation being 75 years. In the Seder Olam, except for the longer generations before the Flood, it would have been a closer match to the 490 years as being only 14 generations, per Matthew. That's 490 divided by 14 which is 35 years for each generation. The reason that Bengel wanted it to be 75 was because of his theory that the generation could therefore include not just the 40 years from Jesus' prophecy in 30 CE to 70 CE, but it was a generation that could have started when Jesus was born (which he assumed was about 5 BCE).
Also, Bengel was only interested in 70 CE, but the real reason for the 75 years in the Awake! was the point about persons born in 1914 or the year prior, as it says. 1914 + 75, is 1989, and for the year prior 1913 + 75 is 1988. So this was cutting it pretty close. And according to the American Legion magazine, the last surviving soldier from WWI would be dead in just a couple weeks.

Your comment reminds me of Satan’s ability to create counterfeits on all levels, the opposite side of truth.
The Beast from the Sea (Rev 13:1) is a counterfeit of Mount Zion, a “mountainlike organization” with a counterfeit priesthood.  Its “seven” symbolic heads is the antithesis of the “seven stars” in Jesus’ right hand. (Rev 1:20; 5:6)  The Beast’s seven heads are a succession of  “kings” – false prophets that rule over the Wild Beast (Rev 17:9,10).  (The “ten horns/kings” of the Beast are part of the composite “eighth king” to arise, once the ‘guiding’ false prophet  (Rev 13:11) is removed.  Rev 17:12-18)
Even the “head wound” of the Beast has a counterfeit display. (Rev 13:3) Rutherford, one of the heads of the organization, is said to suffer this death stroke fulfilling the prophesy of the “two witnesses” of Rev 11:3,7,11,12. Research shows up his cowardliness and the real reason he was temporarily was imprisoned.
A “body” of elders submit to the last symbolic “king”/head of the Beast, a composite false prophet/false christ (Matt 24:24)  that approves of this “body” judging and “killing” Christ’s anointed members of his body. (Rev 13:5-7,15) The silencing of the anointed has come on strong over the last years of the organization’s existence.  When I heard that S. Herd stated all JWs are part of the “temple”, this tells me that the Beast from the Earth/harlot/false prophet, and the last ruling symbolic “king” guiding the Wild Beast from the Sea, has well established its counterfeit “mountain” with “Gentile” “stones”.  God’s “living stones” of “Israel” must either conform and mold themselves to the Beast, or they are disfellowshipped.  (Rev 13:15)
The Beast/mountain, comprised of primarily the elder body is “spirit-breathed”, spirit-directed, giving it an "image" that must be revered. (Rev 13:15,4)
The authentic Temple/Zion is built with inspired “living stones”, the “stars”/kings belonging Christ.
Satan uses the world to create a counterfeit physical display of the events Jesus spoke of in Matt 24 concerning the last days. Counterfeits upon counterfeits, layers upon layers of deception.  His ability to deceive is not on human level, making it impossible to perceive without the help of Christ.  Matt 7:7

Question is: Do they, as one group of people, who were part of some particular event or/and events that is of special significance for human, for nation, for individual (or for God) constitute "generation"? "Generation" in only one meaning and for only one purpose as WTJWorg done and still doing with "1914 Generation"?
We could speak about specific event/s that marked some period of time, than that could include people of various ages and prominence/background, in one part of the world or on global scene. Biggest Tsunami in Philippine, biggest Hurricane in Florida, biggest earthquake in Croatia marks specific time period in particular part of world and by that particular people in that time frame when event occurred can be possible to put into "generation frame" as one of possible meaning according to Dictionaries. People of many various ages, nationality, ethnicity and religious, educational ... etc belongings, were part of one group of people (not generation in chronology sense) that were connected because of same, collective experience inside same event or inside same time frame .
Perhaps using wording 1914 Generation (in various meaning and content, from: all people to wicked people to 144000 class to GB members) for this and such purpose (speaking about particular time period and events inside particular time frame) is not best choice and not describe real meaning and purpose.
Also, what is of main importance in connection to WTJWorg and Bible context. Their fixation on the year 1914 as start point of events and their fixation on particular people who was born in that year, who was old enough to saw that year events, who was part of something in that year, became Conceptual Problem for some time already. Only for that reason they came with "overlapping generation" . But, in fact they already accepted old meaning, from past till today, how generation, as term already means overlapping (b: a group of individuals born and living contemporaneously). In fact GB not invented nothing new but they just contributed to more confusion in already confusing doctrine and they try to stretch time frame little more, because narrow, strait life span of generation as partially biblical view is 70-80 years.
WTJWorg no longer have Basic 1914 Generation doctrine, because that doctrine, as religious truth, became religious lie. But they have need to continue with same wrong, err doctrine and continue with it. Lie with new wording - "overlapping generation". Since consumers in an OLG model are modeled as individuals who live for n periods (n ≥2), people born in n different periods (or n different generations) coexist in any given period t. While consumers die at the end of n periods, reproduction assures that there will be an infinite succession of consumers, each living for n periods. - https://www.encyclopedia.com/social-sciences/applied-and-social-sciences-magazines/overlapping-generations-model
For sure, WT doctrines Consumers coexist in any given period. ;)))
I would look on their religious problem with this thoughts. If they are enough aware how wrong they are and they were all this paste decades after 1914 generation died and not see fulfill about all promises that WT published, nowadays WT bible scholars and leaders missed opportunity and moment to throw away all that errors. And to purified themselves. But with upgrading old misconception they inherited from past leaders, they (today leadership) purposely entering into darker space. Why? Because of reason to justified old error they constructed new fixation with intention to cover old error. And such mental process with this sort of product from these individuals, made them to be religious fraudsters or liars.

It is interesting to notice how WTJWorg Managers took bible terminology for Holy Spirit, that is "Helper", and transfer it to Humans who replaced HS and became Helpers for one part of "anointed" aka GB. When GB claim how not even they and no one else in JW chuch is "inspired" by HS, it is understandable why they need another sort of helping from "Helpers" who also have nothing with HS.

In good times, and bad times, in times easy and times hard, I have relied on the JW-Archive as a sounding board for many things, and appreciate the forbearance when I have ranted and raved about all sorts of things, even from the Librarian, who often deleted my posts, with cause.
I have come to the conclusion that logic and reason is not the end-all that I had aspired to, and that all things being considered, it would have been better for me to be "Brother Watchtower", than the man I have become.
I am 73 years old, and I probably do not have time to change .... realistically, but for 14 billion years I did not exist, and I don't remember it bothering me any.
My Wife Susan, and my sons and daughter will fulfill whatever unfulfilled dreams I had, as the stars I could reach ... were just starfish on the beach.
With whatever time I have left, it is going to be my life's challenge, so I bid each of you so long, and hope you stay closer to Jehovah than I did.

One of the GB “helpers” presented a video about curbing one’s curiosity concerning the anointed in the organization.   He is a confident speaker, delivering his information in a powerful, convincing manner.   Resulting from it, was a comment made by @Srecko Sostar, a member on this forum:
“It seems how WT Society have only one group of "anointed generation", and that is present GB. In his morning worship talk Mr. Malenfant explained this:
‘we don't need to know all names of the anointed on earth today, ....
... in our congregations we see the emblems being passed and we can see individuals partaking in ...
...it would be pointless to try and ascertain who among God's servants will eventually be part of 144000. The final judgement and sealing of the anointed is a very private matter between JHVH and individual anointed ones......
.. and i might also add at this point. Even though we don't know about that personal relationship that comes about, we don't experience it ourselves, but we are convinced, for example, that the members of the GB have the heavenly calling."
Mr Malenfant is person who can control his curiosity about things no one knows, not even he, but it seems how he knows all about that personal relationship and very private matter  that supposedly exist between GB members and JHVH.
and he try to manipulate audience with this ‘confidential information’.”

Included is my response with additional comments -
It appears to be “pointless” to find out just who are Christ’s “ambassadors”, (2 Cor 5:20; 1 Cor 4:1) since the only names one needs to know (according to this elder) are those of the GB.  And, since it is a “very private matter”, what JW would dare talk to one of these other ambassadors? Rejecting the ambassadors/members of Christ’s body, is a rejection of Christ, since the very idea of an ambassador is someone who represents another. Yet, only a selective few of these ambassadors are apparently needed. (Luke 16:2,10-12)
But, it’s been this way for a long while, since a “wicked slave” and its spiritually “drunk” elder body have worked together to beat down the anointed Body of Christ, while exalting themselves. On the other hand, everyone in every congregation, knows exactly who the elders are and what their role is, who work closely with those “elite” anointed.  (Matt 24:48-51; Luke 22:24-27; 2 Cor 11:4-6)
The elder specifically states that Jesus is our leader and we must follow only him, by citing Matt 23:10. This scripture was spoken by Jesus to those new members of his body, meaning that his “body” has one “Master”/teacher over its members; but these individual members are given various gifts, which includes teaching.  As priestly “stewards” of truth, teaching would be woven within each selective gift an anointed would receive.  (1 Cor 12:7-14; Eph 4:11,12)
“But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.” Matt 23:8
However, following only Christ results in disfellowshipping, since the pseudo headship of the GB is rejected. (Mark 13:21,22; Acts 20:29-31; Matt 10:16-20; John 16:2; Rev 11:3,7; 13:11,12,15)
The anointed have allowed the GB/elders to cut them off from their Head and Master, Jesus Christ. (Rom 6:16)
“They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.”  Col 2:19
“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”  Rom 12:4,5
“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good… so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. “  1 Cor 12:7,25
The elder stated that no one needs to “know all names of the anointed on earth today.”
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”  Matt 7:15-20
The Greek word here interpreted as “know” means,
recognize; by implication, to become fully acquainted with, to acknowledge, perceive.
It is imperative for each of us to “know”, who the anointed are during our lifetime, and what these “trees” teach.  We are to recognize their fruits as either good or bad – good from Jesus Christ; bad from the Father of the lie.  (John 8:44; Luke 6:45)
“Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. 41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”   Matt 10:40-42
We cannot “welcome” any anointed disciple of Christ, if we are told to avoid these priests who are to teach Christ’s truth. (Mal 2:7) This includes the ability to markedly distinguish them from others, by the fruit they produce.
When I was a JW, I thought that by providing, as an example from my personal experience, a place for an anointed one and his family to live, I was giving them a “cup of cold water”.  Jesus is the source of “living water”. (John 7:37,38; John 4:10) Those who remain “in Christ” will have that same “living water” flowing from their heart. In turn, anyone who “receives” these teachers producing “good fruit”, give back that living water that flows from their own heart as well; resulting from their recognition of teachings produced in harmony with Christ’s truths. (John 13:20)
The fruit they produce, signifies their “daily, regular sacrifices”/”constant feature” offered before God.  (1 Pet 2:5; Heb 13:15; Rom 12:1; Rev 7:15)
Mouthing allegedly “righteous” words, this is another “helper” in the cause to eradicate a spiritual nation, by “trampling” the anointed priests/Temple “stones” in the organization. His words support the termination of each anointed one's sacrifices to be made before God.  (Ezek 44:6-9; 2 Chron 13:9; Dan 12:11; 2 Thess 2:4)
He has chosen to join forces with a demonic dual power in eradicating Truth and the works of Christ’s ambassadors. (Rev 12:7; Eph 6:12; 5:11; 2 Cor 10:3-5; Rev 9:1-4;16:13-16; 20)
"His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the regular sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.”  Dan 11:31
To support the doctrine that “one flock” referred to in the organization includes everyone – anointed and those not anointed -  he states that no one would attempt to “make a name for themselves to seek personal glory”.  Thus, JWs would not seek out the names of God’s priests to “follow them”.
“That’s not what we do”, he says.
And, he’s right.  Although we do not follow the individual, God’s faithful priests are sought out as the source of living water of God’s word.  (Lev 10:11; Matt 18:10;5:14-16; 1 Pet 2:9; Heb 8:10)
Mal 2:7 - “For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth.
In the traditional contradictory fashion by the organization's leaders, this man has personally “made a name” for himself as a vital helper of the GB.  He is one of many, whose names can be rattled off the tongue of any JW faithful to the organizational arrangement; and it is imperative that a JW ‘follows the direction’ – ‘seeks instruction’-  from not only  the GB, but the body of elders also.   ( Luke 22:25,26) Yet the remaining messengers or ambassadors of Christ are cut off from everyone, including each other. (Isa 51:7,8; 2 Thess 2:4)
He stressed the “one flock” teaching which supports the organization’s unity among all.  On the surface, this seems acceptable as the meaning of John 10:16, but further evidence refutes this doctrine.
John 10:16 - “I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.”
Jesus was establishing the spiritual Temple of God that was to replace the physical Temple, and its way of worship. (2 Chron 6:9; Acts 7:47-50; John 2:19-21; 4:21-24; Acts 17:24; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16; Eph 2:20-22)
While on earth, the “little flock” of his sheep pen, were the members of his body and foundation of the Temple, chosen from the Jewish nation. (Matt 15:24) They were the first to receive salvation from God, and to serve under their High Priest, Jesus Christ. (Rom 1:16)
Because of the rejection of Jesus by the majority of Israel, God has been selecting people from all physical nations for the last 2,000 years, called to be His chosen and faithful priests. (Rev 1:5;5:9,10;17:14)
It had its beginnings through Paul and Peter. (Acts 13:46)  Peter experienced the vision of the sheet coming from heaven, containing all sorts of creatures considered unclean to eat.  God told him, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” (Acts 11:9)  Shortly afterward, Cornelius, the “uncircumcised“  Roman Centurion, and those with him, received the anointing of Holy Spirit. (Acts 10:44,45) Consequently, these “other sheep” and more who followed, were brought into Christ’s sheep pen which already held those chosen from the nation of Israel …”I must bring them in also”.  The boundary demarcation of fleshly circumcision no longer mattered, as the spiritually “circumcised” came to cross all national borders.  (Gal 3:28,29; Eph 3:6)
“So, then, remember that at one time you were Gentiles in the flesh—called “the uncircumcised” by those called “the circumcised,” which is done in the flesh by human hands. 12 At that time you were without Christ, excluded from the citizenship of Israel, and foreigners to the covenants of promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who made both groups ONE and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In his flesh, 15 he made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that he might create in himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace.
For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So, then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building, being put together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you are also being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit. Eph 2:11-15, 18-22
As God’s messengers, the “living stones”, “trees” of His Temple will further fulfill Mal 2:7 and “teach” His children life-giving spiritual direction and sustenance from Jesus Christ.  (Rev 22:1-3)
“I also saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. 3 Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God’s dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God.” Rev 21:2,3

Please do not confuse spiritual Gentiles, with physical Gentiles.
The "one flock", made up of the little flock of physical Jews; and the "other sheep" not of that "little" fold, who are physical Gentiles who become spiritual Jews, (Rom 2:28,29; Gal 3:28,29; Gal 3:28,29,26) are all anointed. That one flock of anointed, do not include those not anointed... just as the Bride, is not her children.
Becoming anointed (and joining Christ's anointed flock/"Bride") is not the same event as becoming sons of God.
    Anointed do become "firstborn" sons of God (James 1:18; Rom 8:23; 2 Thess 2:13; 1 Pet 1:23; Rev 14:4,5; Eph 1:4; 2 Cor 11:2)
and non-anointed can become sons of God, through anointed spiritual parents...
Christ, the original one anointed by God's spirit, and the chosen priests/Christs to follow him, also anointed by God's spirit.
That spirit gives life (John 6:63), not only to Christ and the anointed, but to all God's sons, through Christ and his bride.
Non anointed prove their son-ship to God, by obeying and imitating their own spiritual parents, who already belong to God's spiritual family.
Pearl Doxsey, “One flock / ‘ Sheep’ and ‘Goats’ /  ‘firstborn’
The “one flock” doctrine is manipulated by the complex matrix of decision making, which sustains not the Temple of God, but the temple idol; the Beast of Rev 13:1,2  Within it, are both the “circumcised” and “uncircumcised”, with spiritually “uncircumcised Gentiles” ruling over and replacing God’s priesthood of “circumcised Israel”. There is no distinction made “between the holy and unholy” – the holy Temple of God, and the idol/organization that blasphemes God’s dwelling.  (Ezek 22:26; 44:23; Rev 13:5-8) Just as I think the Beast’s “trampling” of God’s Temple has reached its high point, another lying pretense about the role of God’s priests, has emerged…from the mouth of the Beast.  (Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2)

Each and every living stone inducted into the anointed Temple of God, must undergo grievous tribulation and refinement to be cleansed, previous to their seal (Mal 3:3; 1 Pet 5:10; Heb 12:5-11; Prov 3:11,12; 1 Cor 11:32; Rev 3:19)

Not so the spiritual Gentile Elders comprising the Wild Beast. These counterfeit priests only need comply with Organizational arrangements, expectations, standards, and suggestions. The claim that these are only chosen based upon 1Tim.3 is just not the whole truth.
The greatest requirement for priestly service is "spiritual qualifications" (Gal 6:1), which is not referring to the list at 1 Tim 3 as the WT professes. The original words for "spirit qualifications" is "those who are led by spirit/walk by spirit/live by spirit", and these are defined at Rom 8:14 (Rom 8:16,17) as those who will reign with Christ.

"Elders" have been empowered to trample and expel God's genuine chosen priests with impunity...for now.
In the meantime, to erect and empower a counterfeit Temple priesthood, claim it is filled with Holy Spirit and appointed by God, and then demand that all worship its Image, is a third sin against Holy Spirit. (Ezek 44:6-9; 2 Chron 13:9; Num 3:10; Rev 11:2; Mark 13:14)
Pearl Doxsey – “What is the Worst Sin the WT Has Done?”

"Go now, write it on a tablet for them,
        inscribe it on a scroll,
that for the days to come
it may be an everlasting witness.
9 For these are rebellious people, deceitful children,
children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.
10 They say to the seers,
        “See no more visions!”
    and to the prophets,
“Give us no more visions of what is right!
    Tell us pleasant things,
        prophesy illusions.
    11 Leave this way,
        get off this path,
    and stop confronting us
with the Holy One of Israel!”
12 Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:
“Because you have rejected this message,
        relied on oppression
        and depended on deceit,
13 this sin will become for you
like a high wall, cracked and bulging,
that collapses suddenly, in an instant.
15 This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:
“In repentance and rest is your salvation,
in quietness and trust is your strength,
but you would have none of it.
    18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him!
19 People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” 22 Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Away with you!”  (Isa 30:8-22)

Well one of the things the GB through their 'management' told 'you' as a congregant, was to not report Child Sexual Abuse to the police or outside authorities.
And another thing it told congregation elders was not to name paedophiles in the congregations and not to tell the whole congregation that there was a paedophile amongst them.
And you agree with that in principle ?  Doesn't that makes you part of the problem ?
I think to use that scripture as a generalisation is not so good.

I think the end could come in the next 2 minutes, before I finish writing this post. And the current chaos would certainly fit the kind of end times we expect. It also shows us just how fast things can go from typically bad to extraordinarily bad. How even the best of intentions can quickly send us to "Hades in a hand-basket."
But these signs, which we definitely see, are not supposed to be used to support a supposed Bible chronology. The Bible appears to tell us that in Matthew, Mark, Luke and Paul. Whenever any humans have done that, it always has ended in failure, embarrassment, and it brings reproach on those who "go there."
