Some news has just come to me about a JW man (whom I would have once called a brother) that I spent a lot of time with, until he was told not to spend time with me. He was in his mid 80's and on lots of meds' for heart problems etc. He has died in hospital. But if the information is correct, he fell down at his home, was unable to get up, and was not discovered for some time. He was 'old', he was ill, and death happens. But if he had still been in contact with me I may have found him much sooner and he may have lived longer.
I'm not angry, I'm not sad, even with all his health problems, he had a good long life and kept himself happy even after his wife had died a few years before..
What this topic is for is to ask ALL of you. If you know of someone that may be 'fragile' in any way, or may just need comfort, Please visit them. Please help them to feel safe and wanted.

A few years back there were 22 multiverses. before Hawkins died he actually reduced the number.
The reason they have all these multiverses is that it allows for "chance" to create something.  We know this is absurd but this is how they make the jackpot of gambling on "chance" bigger.
These theories are calculations done by math.... but remember this: math is a language to express something.  It does not mean it is reality or truth.  It is just a tool.  Too many people forget this.

How would you describe a "dimension"  if the word does not yet exist?  We all know that even on earth the angels move in a dimension we cannot physically detect.  Beyond the physical universe there are more dimensions. In our physical universe we are bound by dimensions of  time and space.  Beyond this.... there is no time and space....

Truthseeker reacted to Witness in BETHEL'S BIG SECRET
Jehovah's Witnesses have a secret database in their online library full of questionable material they wrote. They "have nothing to hide" but keep access to this portion of the website under lock and key. What could be so bad that it needs to be hidden from their millions of followers?

Truthseeker reacted to Witness in WHERE ARE THE WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING?
If the only path of eternal life is truth in God’s Word, why would one tolerate untruths? (John 1:17; 14:6; 17:17; 1 John 4:6; 2 Tim 2:15)
Once we fall into a truth-baited trap, finding we’ve been surrounded by the deep darkness of untruths, what happens? (Ps 140:5; Amos 3:5; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10; 2 Cor 6:14)
We either fold our hands and accept the good with the bad, as thousands have done so for the rest of their fleshly lives; or our heart condition is motivated at some point to know why – why would God teach His people doctrine that is revealed to be untrue; doctrine which men call repeatedly, “adjustments in understanding” and “new light”. (Isa 5:20,21; 50:11; Eph 5:6,11; Rev 2:2; Mal 3:18)
God would not condone untruths, and neither would Jesus Christ. (Num 23:19; Mark 7:7; 2 John 1:9; Heb 6:18) But men in the organization convinced us otherwise. (Gal 1:6-9)
Jesus, who established the foundation of the Temple of Truth, has always been straightforward in providing the light of God’s word for those who seek it. (John 2:19,21; John 14:6; 8:12; John 3:20,21;1 Cor 3:11; 1 Pet 2:5,6; 1 Cor 12:28; Eph 1:13;2:19,20; 1 John 4:6)
However, “wolves in sheep’s clothing”, who receive their powers of deception from the father of the lie, are responsible for setting the successful trap of confusion. (Ezek 22:27; Isa 3:12; 9:16;Matt 7:15; 24:23-26; Acts 20:29; John 8:44; 1 Tim 4:1,2; 2 Pet 2:1-3)
They claim their personal role and that of their organization, is to disseminate truth, and this work is approved by both God and Jesus Christ. (Matt 24:48-51; Rev 13:11,12) Yet, neither the Father nor the Son would abandon what was initially established on the body of Christ in the first century, in order to accommodate the lying doctrines and aspirations of men. (Matt 16:18;1 Cor 3:10; Col 1:5; Eph 2:20,21; 2 Tim 1:13; 2:2; 3:14)
Each doctrine and subsequent doctrinal change, is an obstacle to one’s spiritual growth. (Mark 9:42; 1 Cor 4:6; James 3:15; 1 Tim 6:3-5)
“I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.” Rom 16:17,18
In fact, the climate found in the organization reminds me of the air breathed when wildfires rage close to home. For days on end, the sun’s rays are obscured with smoke and ash. We may initially complain, but this obstacle is eventually accepted as an oppressive “normal”, and adaptations to continue in the daily routine are made. Our lungs and ensuing health suffer from inhaling harmful residue from the fires. In the organization, we adapted to the smoke and mirrors of deception and idolatry, contrived by the “ruler of the power of the air”. (Ezek 32:7; Isa 13:9,10; Joel 3:15; Eph 2:2; Rev 9:1,2) We were existing without the light of the “sun” – the light and truth of Christ’s teachings. We “breathed” in spirit-driven falsehoods, letting them settle into our hearts and placing our spiritual health in jeopardy. (Ps 5:9; Zech 8:17; Isa 29:13; Rev 16:13-16)
We didn’t realize that each doctrine established, is a clear sign that men have diverted from the Temple foundation of truth. (Jer 8:8-9; Matt 7:15-20; John 15:4,5; Col 2:3,4)
We were unaware that these false teachers appease their fleshly need for power over others, through the ‘sale’ of their false doctrines, while also exalting what they have built. (Exod 34:12-15; Isa 2:7,8; Hab 2:18; Rom 1:25; Rev 2:20;13:1,3-4,11,12,16,17)
We shared in the sins of their folly. (Jer 5:31; Isa 3:11;Prov 19:3; 1 Tim 6:9; Rev 14:9-11; 18:4-8)
“And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also” Eph 2:1-3
The organization’s existence serves the spiritual thieving need for Satan to destroy the competition – those “kings of the earth” under Jesus Christ. (Rev 1:5;5:9,10) (Rev 13:5-7; 20:7-9)
Is it really true that the governing leaders would accommodate Satan’s driving passion to destroy God’s priests/kings? (Luke 4:5-7; 2 Cor 11:3,4,13-15; Heb 12:15,16; Rev 8:10,11)
Well, it is not uncommon in the history of political rulership to witness corrupt men coming to power, only to rob and crush the poor and the needy. How much more so would Satan implement a plan to rob and crush the “remaining ones of the woman’s seed” under the façade of righteous acts, and using his ministers to carry it out? (Eccl 10:5-7; Jer 9:8; Isa 3:5,13-15; Zech 7:10; Hab 2:9,10; Jer 8:16; Joel 1:6,7;2 Thess 2:4,9,10; Rev 9:3,4,7,8,11; Rev 11:2; 12:13,15,17; 2 Cor 11:4,14,15)
Can you imagine Satan sitting back and allowing his kingdom to be destroyed, which without a doubt will happen when the Temple of living stones has reached completion? (Zech 4:6,7; Dan 2:34,35; 7:27; Rom 8:19-22)
No corrupt leader willingly gives up what he has built without a fight to protect his interests; and Satan’s only threat, is Jesus and the anointed members of his body. (1 John 5:19; Matt 28:18;:33; 1 Cor 15:25,26; Eph 6:12; Rev 12:7,10)
The traditional warring campaign is to target, capture and kill. Of course, this is Satan’s tactic against the kingdom heirs since he originated the plan. (Ezek 38:10,11; 1 Pet 5:8; Rev 20:7,8) If we analyze the organization’s drive to search out those who are called “honest-hearted ones”, (“the hearts of the naïve”), the realistic goal behind the deception, is to target the unsuspecting ones, and lead these individuals into the indoctrination of men, resulting in spiritual famine, disease and ultimate destruction. (Hos 4:1; Amos 8:11; Isa 32:6; 1 John 3:8)
Pearl Doxsey once said Satan “dredged the world to get anyone interested in the Bible.” Upon hearing this, I immediately thought of gold dredging in the high country of rivers and streams where I grew up. Many believe that this practice is destructive to stream life. I tend to agree that it can destroy spawning grounds of fish, diverting riverbeds from their natural course. From what I’ve learned, any man-made change that does not accommodate the natural flow of rivers, streams, small seasonal run-offs, and moisture from the heavens, constricts or prevents all established trees, plants and water life dependent on their natural setting, to continue thriving as they once were.
A valuable “token” of Holy Spirit is deposited into each heart of one chosen by God through the anointing. (2 Cor 1:21,22; 1 Pet 2:9) Jesus compares the spirit of knowledge and truth, to “fine gold”. (John 14:15-17; Rev 3:18)
Each vessel chosen to do God’s will, should preserve the word of God, and teach it. (Mal 2:7; Matt 5:14-16; 1 Cor 4:1; 2 Cor 4:7; Eph 4:11,12; 1 Thess 2:4) Through their faithfulness and sacrifices of praise, the wisdom of God should grow within them. (Matt 25:14,19,21; Eph 2:10; 3:20; 4:15; Phil 1:6; Eph 1:7-10)
Jesus also compares the end harvest of the “sons of the kingdom”, to fish caught in a net. (Matt 13:37-39, 47,48; Jer16:16,17,18,15; 5:26; Hab 1:15-17)
    These “sons”/anointed are God’s “possession”. (Exod 19:6; John 15:16; 1 Pet 2:9,10)
Through this fishing and dredging process, they became Satan’s captives, in time to halt the progress of further spiritual development of truth within themselves. (Heb 5:12-14) He halted the flow of “living water” that Jesus promised would come from the hearts of those who believe in him, and who remained attached to the “vine”/sap of Holy Spirit. (John 4:10; 7:38; 15:4; Jer 2:13)
He successfully blocked their connection with their Master and Head, Jesus Christ, and introduced them to a new Master, under the covenant of death. (Eph 5:23; Col 2:19; Jer 8:18,19; Hos 17:10,13,16; Matt 24:24; Rev 13:11; 17:3; Isa 28:15,18)
Satan diverted the waters of life, preventing any who showed interest in the word of God to receive truth. (2 Chron 15:3; Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5; 1 Cor 5:20; 2 Tim 2:15) He created his own poisoned waters, through his ministers, to the fatal harm of all who drink it in. (Rev 8:10,11) He prevented the members of Christ’s body to receive the “bread of life”, preventing their union as one body, “one loaf” sent by Christ to those hungry for truth. (John 6:35,50,51; Matt 10:40,41)
At his demand, God has allowed this testing by Satan to come upon the final remnant in the last days. (Luke 22:31; Jer 9:13-16; 2 Thess 2:9-12)
Pearl had mentioned that just as Herod went into Jerusalem to find the young Jesus and kill him, Satan has searched out those under the New Covenant in Christ – the anointed of “Jerusalem above”, to destroy with deceit. The “preaching work” of JWs, facilitated Satan’s plan. (Gal 4:26)
These counterfeit "witnesses" unwittingly go "door to door" with the bait....searching out the "firstborn sons" for Satan....
that they might take the bait...becoming ensnared, enslaved, and "destroyed" before they have a chance to grow to sealed maturity (Eph.4:13; 1Cor.2:6; Gal.4:19)....just as the soldiers of Herod sought through every home in Ramah, to destroy the promised seed (Rev.12:17; Heb.12:23; Rev.14:4; 2Thess.2:13,14; Matt.2:16,17,18; Isa.49:21; Eze.14:22; 6:8; 7:16; 12:16)
Unfortunately, Satan did not care that innocent babies were killed in his rage (reflected in Herod) against the promised "seed" Jesus (Gal.3:16). Neither does he care, that interested Bible students are perishing from the poisonous waters he has unleashed to target the "seed" today (Gal.3:29,26; Rev.12:4,15,16,17).
There is nothing superior about the indoctrination offered to the Bible students of "Jehovah's Witnesses".
They are learning lies just as members of Christendom are learning lies.
The only path to life, is Truth.
Whether you are "babes" to doctrines of men, or babes to the real truth,
the Great Tribulation will be a severe spiritual test, which most will not survive (Matt.24:22,24,13)...
Not because the test is unfair, but because most of those of the learned and the unlearned,
prefer the idolatrous lies (2Thess.2:9,10; Matt.7:13).
For lovers of truth, all things are possible, including salvation.

    7 It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
    10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
11 and poverty will come on you like a thief
and scarcity like an armed man." Prov 6

    past the vineyard of someone who has no sense;
31 thorns had come up everywhere,
the ground was covered with weeds,
and the stone wall was in ruins.
32 I applied my heart to what I observed
and learned a lesson from what I saw:
    33 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
34 and poverty will come on you like a thief
and scarcity like an armed man." Prov 24

The temple of God’s dwelling where truth could be found in a united anointed priesthood of “living stones”, (1 Pet 2:5) is in symbolic ruins in the organization. (Matt 24:2; Luke 19:41-44) Thorns and briars have taken over. (Dan 11:36,37; Ezek 2:6; 2 Thess 2:4; Rev 11:2; 13:7) The saints are scattered among the nations, but that doesn’t mean that a “restoration” work is impossible. (Eph 2:4-10) It is happening now. As Pearl said, “For lovers of truth, all things are possible, including salvation.” (Ezek 34:12; Isa 50:10; 52:1,2; Eph 5:14-16; Jer 31:10,11;16; Isa 10:20)

Leave the organization if you haven’t already done so! And if you have left, help as many as you can to leave the abyss of deep darkness behind.

"If you falter in a time of trouble,
    how small is your strength!
    11 Rescue those being led away to death;
hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
12 If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,”
does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who guards your life know it?
Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?" Prov 24

I don't think 'evil' existed in the beginning so Satan didn't actually 'choose evil', he 'created it'.  The same as disobedience didn't exist until Satan was disobedient to God. The problem all humans have is that we use words to explain things, and all of those words can mean different things to different people. It becomes more complicated when words need to be translated from one language to another.
Will there not be a final testing at the end of a thousand years of Christ's reign ?

Oh yes but JWs are also taught to SHUN anyone that leaves the ORG.  Shunning their own children. Turning their teenage children out of the house. And they pretend tis is love.

Truthseeker reacted to Arauna in Climate change is the LEAST of anyones' REAL problems.
Whether one believes in climate change or not.  The UN Agenda 2030 will be using this a its basis to control all inventory on earth and measure its carbon output. Everything will go forward under the label of "sustainable development".  This is their goal.... to control all food production, water, land use, etc  and WEF is in agreement with them.  "You will own nothing and be happy" is the WEF motto.
The WMO with the IPCC will be selling "carbon credits" by 2030.  This is like our fiat currency - just another way to make money for the rich 1% .....because it will not be ploughed back into fixing the environment.  You are already paying your taxes to the FED, which is a private banking cartel since 1913, and they do not put any funds back into the infrastructure of the country. They just print more and more fiat money and our government pays the interest on the money they are lending off the printer of the currency. It is fiat - not based on silver or gold and comes from thin air.
The world system is fake/fiat and all about making money for the richest of the rich.  Do I believe "climate change" is real - yes. Do I believe it is man-made - yes...... The global mega companies which have been making money by ruining the earth and are the richest companies in the world have been the biggest contributors to pollution.  Large gas companies such as BP, Monsanto which produced genetic crops and spread their poison over the earth (killing the natural micro-organisms in the ground necessary for healthy crops), the list goes on and on. At present they are busy destroying the meat farming industry in USA because it emits "methane"............ The truth is that "mega farms" where cows eat corn (not grass), and use antibiotics and growth hormone - these farms produce methane..... not the small organic farms with seed and animal diversity.
These "global corporations" will now be in charge and will make our fake / frankenstein meat, imitation baby milk etc.   Now their public spin/ propaganda is: they are all on the bandwagon to be climate (carbon and CO2) - friendly.
Do I think the measures they are bringing will fix the problem - NO... it is to make them more money while the poor will have nothing and will not be able to get nutritious food and clean water (only purified urine water).
The great reset will definitely benefit the rich...... but when they turn against religions (Babylon the great) in their typical totalitarian way -  they will cry over their lost riches as Revelation 17 and 18 indicates.
Their money and position will not save them. Jehovah will have to fix the climate and ruined earth together with those who survive the system.
I guess you gather that I no longer trust any human organization or government.  The foul smell of the corruption is worse than a dead corpse.

Truthseeker reacted to JW Insider in Was Jesus Anointed at His baptism ?
As soon as I saw this on the 21st, I wrote a response that disappeared just as I was about to "Submit Reply." I figured that it was probably a bad sign that my computer touchpad was jumping the cursor all over the place, but it was probably a good sign that I shouldn't keep writing 3 page responses to a simple question. So I didn't try to rewrite it, and went on to other things.
To my surprise, I came back here today and see that @Witness gave nearly the exact response that I had written. I even gave that response of hers an upvote, and I even agree with much that is in the second response she gave right after it.
(Luke 3:21, 22) . . .Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus too was baptized. As he was praying, the heaven was opened up, 22 and the holy spirit in bodily form like a dove came down upon him, and a voice came out of heaven: “You are my Son, the beloved; I have approved you.” (Luke 4:1) . . .Then Jesus, full of holy spirit, turned away from the Jordan, and he was led about by the spirit in the wilderness (Luke 4:17, 18) . . .So the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him, and he opened the scroll and found the place where it was written: 18 “Jehovah’s spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news to the poor.. . . Then I had added a few additional verses, starting with:
(Acts 10:37, 38) . . .starting from Galʹi·lee after the baptism that John preached: 38 about Jesus who was from Nazʹa·reth, how God anointed him with holy spirit and power, and he went through the land doing good and healing . . .
(Hebrews 1:5-9) . . .For example, to which one of the angels did God ever say: “You are my son; today I have become your father”? And again: “I will become his father, and he will become my son”? . . . 8 But about the Son, he says: “God is your throne forever and ever, and the scepter of your Kingdom is the scepter of uprightness. 9 You loved righteousness, and you hated lawlessness. That is why God, your God, anointed you with the oil of exultation more than your companions.”
Along with this, to help explain the context in Hebrews, I had added that the expression "You are my son, today I have become your father," was a formulaic expression for the anointing of kings like David and Solomon. This is clearly how Hebrews 1 is using it with the idea of the throne and scepter and the obeisance and "his Kingdom" -- "that is why . . . God anointed" him.
@Witness had gone directly to Psalm 45:7 which Hebrews quotes from and then used some of the same additional scriptures about the anointing of kings.
@Witness went a little further on this point and added the priests to the equation and therefore tied in later scriptures in Hebrews (and Revelation, etc.) about how the kingdom is also a priesthood, which I had not thought to mention. But Hebrews happens to tie the priestly appointing (anointing) as part of the same event when Jehovah said at Jesus' baptism: "You are my son, today..."
(Hebrews 5:1-6) . . .For every high priest taken from among men is appointed in their behalf over the things relating to God, so that he may offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. . . . . 4 A man does not take this honor of his own accord, but he receives it only when he is called by God, just as Aaron was. 5 So, too, the Christ did not glorify himself by becoming a high priest, but was glorified by the One who said to him: “You are my son; today I have become your father.” 6 As he also says in another place, “You are a priest forever in the manner of Mel·chizʹe·dek.”
Also, you will notice that the article @Anna posted from the Aid book contains several of the same points that Witness made.
The one point I take some exception too, @Patiently waiting for Truth, is that you have made more of the specific timing as if it is the most important thing to get out of this. And you may have "summoned" my take on this because you know that I will agree that it indicates the Kingdom did not start in 1914. I agree that it doesn't. But this doesn't mean we need to focus on exactly when Jesus was appointed as King or Priest, or when the Kingdom started, or when he was "King-Designate." Recall that David was anointed (by Samuel) before he became King, and that he was hailed as King by his early followers before he was officially made King after Saul's death.
Specific timing of appointments and titles is not the importance of scripture to us today. It's the "fact" of Jesus' appointment to the "offices" of king and priest and mediator and his own sacrifice as a ransom payment for sin. Is it wrong to say Jesus was born king? Or what about the prophet Simeon?
(Matthew 2:2) . . .“Where is the one born king of the Jews? . . .
(Luke 2:25-32) . . .And look! there was a man in Jerusalem named Simʹe·on, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for Israel’s consolation, and holy spirit was upon him. 26 Furthermore, it had been divinely revealed to him by the holy spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Christ of Jehovah. 27 Under the power of the spirit, he now came into the temple, and as the parents brought the young child Jesus in to do for him according to the customary practice of the Law, 28 he took the child into his arms and praised God and said: 29 “Now, Sovereign Lord, you are letting your slave go in peace according to your declaration, 30 because my eyes have seen your means of salvation 31 that you have prepared in the sight of all the peoples, 32 a light for removing the veil from the nations and a glory of your people Israel.”
I'll fall back on the argument that even if Jesus wasn't yet officially "anointed" ("Christ") at birth, he was designated ("appointed") to this purpose and this meant it was as good as accomplished for those who have faith in the fulfillment of Jehovah's purpose.

Truthseeker reacted to Anna in Was Jesus Anointed at His baptism ?
This is what the Aid book has to say:
    https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200012397?q=jesus+baptism&p=par
The outpouring of holy spirit at the time of Jesus’ baptism marked the time of his becoming in actual fact the Messiah, or Christ, God’s Anointed One (the use of this title by angels when announcing his birth evidently being in a prophetic sense; Luke 2:9-11; note also verses 25, 26). For six months John had been ‘preparing the way’ for the “saving means of God.” (Luke 3:1-6) Jesus, now “about thirty years old,” was baptized over John’s initial objections, voiced because John till then had been baptizing only repentant sinners. (Matt. 3:1, 6, 13-17; Luke 3:21-23) Jesus, however, was sinless; hence his baptism testified instead to his presenting himself to do his Father’s will. (Compare Hebrews 10:5-9; see BAPTISM [Jesus’ Baptism in Water].) After Jesus had ‘come up from the water,’ and while he was praying, “he saw the heavens being parted” and God’s spirit descended upon Jesus in bodily shape like a dove, and Jehovah’s voice was heard from heaven, saying: “You are my Son, the beloved; I have approved you.”—Matt. 3:16, 17; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 3:21, 22.
God’s spirit poured out upon Jesus doubtless illuminated his mind on many points. His own expressions thereafter, and particularly the intimate prayer to his Father on Passover night, 33 C.E., show that Jesus recalled his prehuman existence and the things he had heard from his Father and the things he had seen his Father do, as well as the glory that he himself had enjoyed in the heavens. (John 6:46; 7:28, 29; 8:26, 28, 38; 14:2; 17:5) It may well have been that the memory of these things was restored to him at the time of his baptism and anointing.
Jesus’ anointing appointed and commissioned him to carry out his ministry of preaching and teaching (Luke 4:16-21), and to serve as God’s Prophet. (Acts 3:22-26) But, over and above this, it appointed and commissioned him as Jehovah’s promised King, the heir to David’s throne (Luke 1:32, 33, 69; Heb. 1:8, 9), and to an everlasting kingdom. For that reason he could later tell Pharisees: “The kingdom of God is in your midst.” (Luke 17:20, 21) Similarly, Jesus was anointed to act as God’s High Priest, not as a descendant of Aaron, but after the likeness of King-Priest Melchizedek.—Heb. 5:1, 4-10; 7:11-17.
Jesus had been God’s Son from the time of his birth, even as the perfect Adam had been “the son of God.” (Luke 3:38; 1:35) The angels had identified Jesus as God’s Son from birth onward. So, when, after Jesus’ baptism, his Father’s voice was heard saying, “You are my Son, the beloved; I have approved you” (Mark 1:11), it seems reasonable that this declaration accompanying the anointing flow of God’s spirit was more than just an acknowledgment of Jesus’ identity. The evidence is that Jesus was then begotten or brought forth by God as his spiritual Son, “born again,” as it were, with the right to receive life once more as a spirit Son of God in the heavens.—Compare John 3:3-6; 6:51; 10:17, 18; see BAPTISM (Baptism into Christ Jesus and into His Death); ONLY-BEGOTTEN.

I do not agree with this. (highlighted for the benefit of others) My reasoning is that the scriptures say that God / Christ will bring to ruin those ruining the Earth. And there has to be a complete Judgement of ALL people living on the earth so that the earth can be cleansed. This has to be done all at one time.
If Armageddon was 'within' as you say then the 'world' would continue to be ruled over by the Devil and suffering would continue forever.

Women are imperfect and act on imperfect hormones.  God has regret..... but this is not as strong as repentance, remorse and the other emotions inbetween.  God does not make mistakes. Regret indicates that  human  actions made God  change his mind as to their future.......
One can read your own emotions into the bible if it suits one.
No doubt, God was very disappointed and all mankind justly deserved destruction. Because God is a God of life it was really regretful to have to do what justice required. ... to destroy.

    I was.
    I did.
    He wasn’t.
    You’re wrong.
It’s his heart that it never came up into, his center of motivation. It is the furthest thing from what he would ever do. It’s not that he can’t imagine it.
There is division among translators over this verse. Someone want to spend some time looking into this? I’ll take the NWT any day in this case. It dovetails far better with everything else we know of God.

One translation best captures the “mind” sense with, “I never entertained the thought,” which is not the same as being “surprised.”
