  1. By what you, and what @4Jah2me continue to lay out on the table, proves that this people, this organization that taught me truth was logical...that the organizational arrangement is logical...proves their "logic", their "truth", is nothing but illogical insanity. Jer 51:7; Rev 18:4-8
  2. There is an anointed body, that must not be separated from one another. 1 Cor chapter 12 But what you see taking place in the Wt; what you take part in, and what you believe as elders having full authority to rule over all, even the anointed, is an acceptable teaching...from superfine apostles. (Matt 24:48-51) “Representing the royal priesthood are appointed elders, who serve in positions of responsibility in congregations of Jehovah’s people around the earth. These men deserve our respect and wholehearted support, whether they are of the anointed or not. Why? Because, through his holy spirit, Jehovah has appointed the older men to their positions. (Hebrews 13:7,17) How can that be? w02 8/1 p. 13-14 These scriptures in Hebrews apply to the anointed body and their gifts, positions assigned to them by God as outlined in Eph 4:7-16. However, Eph 4:7,8 is applied to you and your fellow elders instead. This is verified in your magazines. Were you appointed by Holy Spirit to be an elder? Is this why you cross your fingers behind your back when approached by other elders for your rogue actions? The crowns are worn by the elders in the organization – not by the anointed – not in the Wt. You have power over them, to judge them as spiritually “dead”. (Rev 13:11,12,15) Their status as God’s priests has been robbed from them, and given to the elders. (Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5,9) Although gathered/surrounded by a spurious rule over them, they are “scattered” throughout the congregations. They have been taken spiritually captive, to lies. Col 2:8; Rev 13:10; 16:13-16 You can either support the lie and continue to relish your position of lording it over the anointed, or you recognize them as God's genuine dwelling of Holy Spirit, and break the bonds of falsehoods (1 Cor 3:16,17) Do you know who the Wt. says are the locust swarm in Revelation 9? It states these locusts are the anointed, with a stinging message. This is a lie. This huge army comes against the anointed who have not been sealed in the heavens - the anointed under elder rule. (Rev 9:3,4; 7:4)
  3. Rev 1:1 - "The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show *his servants* what must soon take place." Matt 17:10,11 - And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” 11 Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things. Mal 3:1-3 - “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts. 2 “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, (the Levitical priesthood) And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness." Rev 11:1-3 - "Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my *two witnesses*, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” "Then he answered me and said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” 14 So he said, “These are the *two anointed ones*, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.” Zech 4:13,14 "in order that they may all be one" John17:21; Eph.4:13 -- Rev. 12:6 reads; And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that THEY should feed her there a thousand two hundred sixty days." Rev.11:3,7; Matt.24:28; 1Cor.10:17; Isa.41:27; Eze.14:22 --- For those seeking to understand the correlation between prophecy and current events among the Chosen Ones, as well as the Organization who call themselves witnesses of Jehovah.” https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/
  4. You might find this recent comment by an anointed one helpful. Both Jesus and the Father are referred to, as Alpha and Omega. Does this mean that they are the same person? Nothing about Alpha or Omega, means 'the same nature'. That is not to say that God and Christ are not the same nature [they are both divine spirit, just as all sons of God become (2Pet.1:4)], but that similarity of nature, is not expressed in either "Alpha' or 'Omega'. Neither do each of those words mean "uncreated, eternal, atemporal, or timeless". We are told at John 1:1 that "In the beginning". That of itself is speaking of a moment in time, a start... not eternity. That verse continues... "In the beginning, the Word/Logos, was." We are told that the Word exists, "In the beginning" of God's creation (John1:1; 1John1:1; Prov.8:22-31; Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:14). Alpha and Omega simply mean, first and last. Can two different identities be first and last, and remain two different identities? Of course. As a simple example, an only son is the first and last son. If he marries and has an only son, that son is also, first and last. Yet they remain, two different people. But how does this compare to the identity difference between God and Christ, while both of them are Alpha and Omega... First and Last? The Bible tells us. The Logos, was the first of all creation. Jesus Christ is the FIRSTborn of the new creation (Rom.8:29; 2Cor.5:17). But that NEW creation, finally allows God to enter His Sabbath Rest permanently, and able to declare with finality, all things Good. He made that declaration at the end of the physical creation (Gen.1:31; 2:2), but it did not last (Gen.6:5-6; Rom.8:20-22; John5:17; Heb.4:9-11). The start/FIRSTborn of that NEW, incorruptible creation, is the resurrection of Christ... the LAST Adam (1Cor.15:45) because from him (the "eternal father" -Isa.9:6) all others receive life. He is the Alpha (FIRSTborn born of the New Creation) and Omega (LAST Adam/man, needing to be created) of the New Creation, because all those after him, come from him. "So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the *last Adam, a life-giving spirit."* Does this mean that when God declares Himself Alpha and Omega, that he is saying that He is Jesus Christ? No, because God tells us what He means, by being the first and the last... Isa.43: "10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. ***Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me."*** So, Is God the *first Almighty God? Is He the *last Almighty God to ever be? Can any other god be compared to him, or be equal to him in likeness, including His eternal sovereignty? (Phil.2:7; Isa.40:18,25,28; 43:13; Ps.93:2). How then, would He come to be in the likeness of men? He did not. The Logos/Jesus, did. No creation, compares to the eternally unchanging Father of Jesus Christ. So, two different persons can share being first and last, but that does not mean that they are first and last in the same regard, or to the same degree, or must be the same person. Both Jesus and God can be described as an Alpha and Omega; but that does not mean that they are the same person, or first and last in the same way. Yes, the Logos emptied himself, became a human, and even died. Major changes. Yet God never changes (Ps.90:2; 102:24,27; Mal.3:6; James1:17; Gen.21:33; Job.36:26; Jer.10:10; Hab.1:12) If He is indeed the peerless God, from everlasting, to everlasting (Ps.90:2)... then He has never died.
  5. Don't you own the "Shepherding the Flock of God", book? Aren't you guided by that book during judicial matters? Do you give talks from outlines that you must adhere to? Do you collect "time"? Are you in charge of the donations? What are your jobs as an elder? If you don't do any of this, then no...you are not a company man, and soon will not be an elder.
  6. We can be part of collectively adhering to the truth of Christ, (which is determined by God and Jesus) or collectively adhering to the lies of men. But, all of us stand as individuals before Christ at the end. If accused of tolerating and favoring lies, we cannot say, “but our leaders told us to abide by their teachings!” Matt 7:21-23 Do JWs realize that as a collective, they are not saved? Individuals who defied God’s direction in the wilderness during the days of Moses, were not saved because they were part of Israel. “They have contradicted the Lord and insisted, “It won’t happen. Harm won’t come to us; we won’t see sword or famine.” 13 The prophets become only wind, for the Lord’s word is not in them. This will in fact happen to them.” Jer 5:12,13 The Lord said: “These people approach me with their speeches to honor me with lip-service, yet their hearts are far from me, and human rules direct their worship of me.” Isa 29:13 @Srecko Sostar, you brought out the simple scripture not long ago, that tells us to stay away from establishing “organization”; and all religious organizations have a centralized authority. We cannot claim that any religion organized by men on this earth, will lead us to eternal life. “A dispute also arose among them, which of them was considered to be greatest. 25 He said to them, “The kings of the nations (“Gentiles”/elders) lord it over them, and those who have authority over them (the “Gentiles”) are called ‘benefactors.’ (“friends of the people” – the GB) 26 But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.” Luke 22:24-26 He reiterated this plea in John 4, saying God is seeking those who only worship Him in “spirit and truth”. John 4:21-24 For 2,000 years, the only religious organizations during that time period have proven to be false. Yet, true believers outside of these organizations, still worshiped in spirit and truth. They put their trust in God only. And who can say otherwise, the WT? If the need for an earthly organization to worship God is found necessary, that person is unable to take confidence in God and Christ, to lead them into truth.
  7. What are you downvoting, Allen? The fact that the GB member was exposed for his stupidity? I remember watching him create his drawing, thinking how confusing his account seemed. What was his point, I thought. But, I didn’t investigate it, and moved on. I appreciate how the maker of the video drew my attention to Jackson’s melding of two Bible accounts, into his own. After realizing this mistake, I thought to myself how many people were used in filming just his part of the meeting, and no one questioned his demonstration of this account about Jesus, as inaccurate. So, what are you downvoting? Are you downvoting Jackson – that he should have done better research, even pray about his demonstration to be in harmony with scriptures? Or, are you downvoting someone who isn’t a JW, but found the error? What concerns you more?
  8. "Reviewing the 2020 Annual Meeting Part Three) For the first time on camera, a Governing Body member gets the Bible wrong merging two different stories about Jesus into one. And the for some reason, the holy spirit did not stop this error featuring as part of the most illustrious event in the Jehovah's Witness calendar."
  9. Ps 146:3 - Do not trust in nobles, in a son of man,who cannot save. The entire Psalm 146 is relevant to those who decide not to trust “nobles” – the dual rulership of the organization. Their eyes were opened by the grace of God, and they are no longer held spiritually and emotionally captive to false teachings; although they realize this could mean the end to any relationship with family or friends. (2 Pet 2:1-3; Matt 19:27-29) Jesus tells us this loss would happen to those who know that his teachings are far superior to those of men. (Luke 11:46; Matt 15:14) This spiritual judgment of “death” translates into a victory of freedom, to pursue truth in Christ. (John 16:2; Heb 13:13; Rev 13:15; 11:1-3,7) A relationship with God and Jesus develops without intervention from “nobles”. Have you disfellowshipped anyone for rejecting the GB, the organization, or its teachings? You don’t seem like the type who would go along this regulation. “The Lord protects resident aliens and helps the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.” Ps 146:5 How does He frustrate the ways of the wicked? The evidence is in Wt’s constant renewing of failed teachings. (Isn’t there now “new light” about the sheep and the goats?) He can also “send” a lying spirit upon those who refuse to serve Him in truth, preferring to follow their own heart’s desires of gaining material wealth, prominence and power over others. (1 Kings 22:22; 2Thess 2:9-12) (Luke 22:24-27; 4:5-7;1 John 2:15-17) Failed teachings do not have their source in the Spirit of Christ. Nothing ‘poisonous’ would come from the lips of one speaking Christ’s truths. (Matt 12:34; Luke 6:43; 1 Cor 10:12; Heb 12:15; Prov 5:3-6; Rev 8:11; 17:15) God voluntarily removes His Spirit from any anointed who “fall” from His grace. (1 Sam 6:14; 1 Cor 5:1-5) Why do JWs trust in the words of men who cannot save even themselves, from their own adulterous tongue? (Ps 5:9; James 1:26) Two spiritual nations inhabit the organization – “Israel”, the smaller nation, has put its trust in elders/”Gentiles”, and arrogant leaders of “Israel” (if they are all anointed). The elders act as nobles – “princes”; even called such in the magazines. (Jer 23:1,2) This larger nation has the authority to keep “Israel” in check, according to the regulations of those in charge. (2 Thess 2:3,4) Is this scriptural? No. But it has happened numerous times to the physical nation of Israel. Although this rulership is called “shepherding”, it is an internal force of evil to instill power over God’s people. The accusatory remarks about the anointed being mentally unsound, that they may be fakes, (I’m not saying it can’t happen), etc.; have their source in the accuser himself. He demands to sift God’s saints “as wheat”. (Job 1:10; Zech 3:1,2; Luke 22:31; Rev 12:10) He did the same to Jesus Christ, through the religious leaders. (Matt 12:24-28) You say you love to read and research the scriptures. You must see this has happened time and again where God has allowed nations to overcome Israel. And why? They choose false teachings and idolatry over giving God exclusive devotion to Him and His decrees through Jesus Christ. This organization is not the Israel of old where the prophet Moses led people through the wilderness, but that is exactly what JWs translate the organization as today. There are sly connections made of the GB to Moses. What blasphemy. In comments such as, “come to Jehovah’s organization for salvation”, or ‘when the slave passes decrees, these decrees come from Jehovah and must be obeyed’…we see idolatry in its most blasphemous form. We have God's decrees already written down. Are we to add to the Bible? The only “organization” now, is through the Body of Christ – it is not a physical apparition built on a mountain that JWs expect their studies to stream to. (John 4:21-24; Acts 7:47-51; 17:24-27; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22) Satan has one last shot of wiping out God’s holy people. (Rev chapter 12) It took something “different” to turn "Israel's" hearts from God this time, to lead them into serving an idol that promises salvation. It has been well manipulated and developed over the years, becoming a sinful inclination to admire and love - the “Beast” that “makes war with the saints”. (Dan 7:23; 8:10; Rev 11:12; 13:7) God has allowed this test to fall upon them. (Luke 22:31,32) This is the essence of the Great Tribulation and the divisive war of Armageddon. (Joel 3:14) Have you ever wondered why the leadership repeatedly warns of the GT positioned on the doorstep, but no matter what devastation may occur in the world, they still haven’t laid down that card? What’s stopping them? How many JWs have died from covid? How many are in prison, some for many years? How many earthquakes and natural disasters, uprising in the governments, will it take for them to say, “it’s here”? Do they know something that JWs don’t - that the GT is really about the saints (“kings of the earth” Rev 1:5) conquered by their lies? (Rev 16:13-16) And that the "signs" are not literal but spiritual? (Luke 8:10; 17:20,21) “Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord! What will the day of the Lord be for you? It will be darkness and not light. 19 It will be like a man who flees from a lion only to have a bear confront him. He goes home and rests his hand against the wall only to have a snake bite him. 20 Won’t the day of the Lord be darkness rather than light, even gloom without any brightness in it?” Amos 5:18-20 Darkness represents Satan’s deceit, leading to death. “Light” represents Christ and his truths, leading to eternal life. Matt 4:16; John 1:5; 8:12; Col 1:13; 1 Pet 2:9; 2 Cor 6:14; Eph 5:14…etc. The true shepherds, chosen by God through anointing, (Isa 43:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Eph 2:20-22) have put their trust in nobles instead of Jesus Christ and God to lead them. They have neglected their role to teach the people His laws.(Mal 2:7; Heb 8:10) “Israel” is oppressed by men – again! (Jer 50:33; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10) They can continue to languish behind Wt’s walls of darkness, allowing men to rule over them; or, as Revelation shows, they turn to Jesus Christ for freedom and truth. (Rev 3:18) Any JW can and should, do the same. (Rev 18:4-8; Matt 24:15,16) “Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God” Ps 146:5 Although elders are believed to be God’s shepherds, they are in fact only herders, hired to keep “Israel” surrounded with the GB’s falsehoods and oppressive rules. (Rev 9:1-5;13:11,12; 20:7-10) Even dogs can herd sheep, and follow the commands of their master. (John 10:7-13; Matt 24:48-51; Rev 9:1-5; 13:11,12,8; 17:8; 22:15; Matt 6:24) You seem to be a kind man, but your position as an elder ruling over/”sitting” in the spiritual Temple of God is a very dangerous one to be in. (1 Cor 3:16,17; Rev 13:5-7; 22:10-14) The “man of lawlessness” sitting in the Temple of God, is the exalted heartbeat of the fourth “beast”/organization – and you, as an elder, contribute to that heartbeat. (Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:1-4,8,9-12) I apologize if there are mistakes in scripture EDITED
  10. I don't believe I "assume" that nobody else was. Perhaps if we were in the congregation together, you would understand the picture more fully. 🙂 That was only one of other congregations that I have been in. Each had their prejudices and hypocrisy. An elder with a beard in the 80's and 90's may add to your perspective. The burdens put upon him were quite large, while also raising a family; as well as the aspect that he didn't "fit in", was also a burden. Can you imagine how visitors who were servants may have criticized the congregation because of my husband's presence? I witnessed it at a circuit assembly once. An elder made the point to seek him out, point his finger and say, you will never give a talk in "my hall". Men and their power! This first congregation scaled down to a total of two elders; my husband and one other. I am not sure how many servants there were, but only one was in charge of the week's service meetings.
  11. Wow, this really hit a nerve with you. My husband had a full time job during the week in the outside environment. He conducted the service meetings on the weekend. Who knows, maybe others went to him with the problem also. I didn't pry. 🙂 Oh, so the shepherd/servant was not to blame. It took the sisters with small brains to put their heads together and over-ride the recommendations of the servant. Well, good!
  12. How did Jesus allow himself to be "wronged"? I'm not sure I understand what you are meaning. When it comes to false teachings, did Jesus and the apostles turn the other cheek? Didn't the apostles make it known who they were? Didn't Jesus make it known that he is the Son of God? On the other hand, how often do you hear the words, "faithful and discreet slave", or "faithful slave" and KNOW who these titles refer to? Did Jesus already tell them they are "faithful and discreet"? (Matt 25:21) Or, do they just assume through their arrogance that they ARE indeed, faithful? Being humble before God and Christ, doesn't mean caving in to the rules and regulations of men, who say be humble, before THEM! "For am I now trying to persuade people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." Gal 1:10 Anointed can use the very avenue that the organization uses to "teach" - the internet. Is there a rule set by Christ that says they cannot go online and preach about Him, and the authentic "good news" of the restoration of Jacob? (Isa 43:1; Joel chapter 3; Mal 1:6; 3:1-4,12; 2:4; Isa 61:9; Luke 1:16,17; Matt 17:11; Rev 11:1-6; Zech 4:11-14; Rev 5:9,10; Gen 22:18)
  13. Oh my goodness. Perhaps if you had been there, you might have noticed the prejudice - I say, might. #1 The sisters decided to arrange themselves, reaching out to others (sisters) to help them…before showing up for the service meeting. #2 – As a good elder’s wife, I eventually told my husband who was the service overseer, that it was a repetitive problem during the week. From what I remember, he said he would address it. Does that answer your question? Can you please tell me where I have stated that I, personally, was cheated out of my anointed status? You should be concerned about the cheating of all the anointed out of their status as God's priests in the organization. I am so glad I am not part of the organization, and no I would never go back to make sure I wasn't "cheated" out of my anointed status. You have chosen to remain in the dark about "Israel". Someone here said the anointed are not to rule until the Kingdom arrives. I'm just attaching my comment here. 1 Pet 2:5,9 - As you come to him, a living stone—rejected by people but chosen and honored by God— 5 you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. This is written in the present tense. The apostles set the standard for God's priests to follow while on earth. But since the Wt has developed, Jesus must call God's priests OUT OF DARKNESS, now. (Rev 3:18; 2:14,15,20,21;18:4-8) If they remain faithful to Jesus, they will "proclaim praises" about God and Christ. Those who have left, fully understand the darkness that you choose to live under. There is no possibility of God's priests to act upon the posted scriptures while under the rulership of a wicked slave.
  14. I remember I asked an anointed brother once, how he knew he was anointed. This allowed him to share his feelings and his desires to serve Christ. There is nothing wrong with this, but it is exactly what your leaders are telling JWs not to do. Do you think, under this circumstance, that all anointed are going speak up and say, yes I am anointed? Or, is there a huge possibility that many refuse to even partake, for fear of being judged as fakes, or mentally imbalanced? Take those words, mentally imbalanced. Since the organization stresses that there is a large possibility that anointed are not authentic because of this, don’t you think that many JWs will give someone a wide berth if they heard the person was anointed - thanks to the lies said about them? The best safety measure then, is to leave them alone. Don't ask them questions, especially what they may think about the teachings of the GB. This is the message the GB is projecting. Of course, the anointed are also told not to gather together to study the Bible. Your leaders who receive "special treatment" tell JWs not to give this to any anointed one. Why? They will have a hard time remaining humble, as if those arrogant men have insight into the hearts of Christ's servants. w16 January p. 24 Christ's word tell us how to treat anointed ones. We should seek them out and learn from them, for they are the priests of God. (Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5,9)
  15. Whether someone is anointed or not, it concerns everyone. These words of the GB are twisted, as usual. The believers in the first century were well aware of those who were anointed. Should it now stop knowing who they are? And why? Eight men hold power over all, that is why. This is opinionated persuasion of men who have a devious underlying reason, for teaching JWs to avoid the anointed. It is only to preserve their dominance. Why do men’s opinions become law, with no backing of God’s Word? Why don't JWs put Christ's teaching before the laws, decrees of men? This is what Christ says: John 13:20 - Truly I tell you, whoever receives anyone I send receives me, and the one who receives me receives him who sent me." This shows, that avoiding any who claim to be anointed, as the WT stresses, could possibly result in rejecting not only Jesus Christ, but the Father. This means knowing what is in their spiritual heart. What gift have they received? How can they contribute to the Body? (1 Cor 12) Matt 10:40,41 - "The one who welcomes you welcomes me, and the one who welcomes me welcomes him who sent me. 41 "Anyone who welcomes a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward. And anyone who welcomes a righteous person because he's righteous will receive a righteous person's reward.” Matt 10:14,15 - "If anyone does not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town. 15 "Truly I tell you, it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town. So, the Wt wants the anointed to remain anonymous. What if, within that group of anointed, there is a prophet, or a "righteous person"? How will JWs react when Jesus asks, "why did you reject me"? (Matt 10:42) Why did you choose to listen to a false prophet instead of whom I sent? (Matt 7:15-20) Matt 10:24,25 - "A disciple is not above his teacher, or a slave above his master. 25 "It is enough for a disciple to become like his teacher and a slave like his master. If they called the head of the house 'Beelzebul,' how much more the members of his household!” In the case of Ray Franz who spoke up against the leadership, he was disfellowshipped for following God’s Word instead the governing body, and for exposing their lies. He was labeled an apostate, which in reality was an act of sinning against the Holy Spirit committed by the leadership. Whose side did the majority of JWs take? Did they say he had an evil spirit for speaking against the GB? Most likely. So most of the anointed have chosen to remain anonymous as they are told, for fear of being called into the back room? Whatever the Spirit of truth placed in the heart is not used, since they cannot act upon who they are - as someone Jesus sent to reveal truth. (1 John 2:20; Mal 2:7) John 15:5-8 - "I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me. 6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you. 8 My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples." How can they prove to be disciples of Christ, if the anointed are told to reject any questions about who they are? They are not producing "fruit", but selling what a false prophet has produced. There is always irony coming out of the GB's mouth. In the annual meeting, K. Cook mentioned the anointed, how all of JWs must take into account how they treat those in Christ. He stated Jesus will judge us by how we accept them. (Matt 10:42) Now, according the above quote, can anyone really "accept" the anointed if no one can inquire about their anointing, or how they feel about truth? Oh, he also said the way to support them, is through the "preaching work". There you go, that is safe. No possible challenge can be made against either the GB or the elder body. We know that this work is regulated spiritual food, already dished out without any of the anointed taking part, except those of the wicked slave. (Matt 24:48-51; Rev 13:11,12,16) In the harvest, we are "sorted" by the teachings we choose. "Dear Friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone into the world". 1 John 4:1` Thank you, Srecko!
  16. I tuned into the annual meeting.🙂 Obviously, from the looks of one of them, his obesity - yes - stems from too much alcohol.
  17. I don't suppose you have taken a good look at the governing body lately? Surely you've noticed a growth spurt among a few, such as A. Morris, G. Jackson, M. Sanderson, with K. Cook and G. Loesch not far behind. Wow. that's 5 out of 8. Or, are they not considered part of the "brothers and sisters" who are "giving a bad witness"?
  18. And that's only what the rank and file sees. What happens beyond that level. Jesus and the apostles are our example in the "preaching work". Everything that the organization expects is so foreign to their example. But as we know, JWs accept it as necessary to get the work done. Where is the faith in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? They accomplish some goal they may have set; organize it, gather the money and the people to go for it, to build it, and then when finished it is proclaimed that God made it happen. What? When the golden calf was created at the desire of men, God wasn't involved. There is no difference with the organization's 'marvelous' accomplishments.
  19. Well, you asked, so here it goes. My experience was more negative than positive, but I held on for over 30 years. I could not reconcile the hypocrisy that my elder husband had to deal with, I couldn’t reconcile with the clicks, the pressure of privileges and esteem based on works, the blatant stupidity of elder shepherds who ignored single mothers, widows, and women with children. Many times meeting for service, and elder would put two mothers and their children together in one group, while the elders buddied up with single sisters. My husband did his best to be a good elder; he was preferred by those in the congregation for shepherding calls. He was known as a humble man, who didn’t care if his shoes were polished, or that he wore a blue shirt with a tie that didn’t match. He didn't conform to the elders' set of rules, and finally left them to their hypocrisy. My sons were chided by individuals in the congregation for wearing colorful shirts - they should have been white. Absolute stupidity. One son quit college because an elder told him he should be ashamed for choosing college over pioneering. Everything that the organization expects is outward perfection, which mirrors the pharisaical leadership of Jesus' day. The heart of this organization is full of sin. I couldn’t reconcile with the excuses that the leadership gave for their membership as an NGO in the UN. Today, they are still NGOs in other countries. Their hypocrisy is commonplace, when there was a day that this was considered being "part of the world". They work right along with the governments they say will be destroyed. They invest heavily, while expecting their members to live in poverty. They hide their child abuse problem, sweeping their false prophesies under the rug…and the shunning, the disfellowshipping. I would hope that a disfellowshipped one would choose to sit by us during a meeting, just so I could give that person a reassuring smile of love. It is not a loving provision to treat one as "dead". This is evil. JWs live as naively as possible, closing their heart and minds to the sin that is all around them. This can only occur through demonic intervention. (2 Cor 11:3,4; Rev 18:4-8) I wanted to understand the anointed Body of Christ. Before I came to realize what “Armageddon” is really about, I wanted to gather them together, and care for their physical needs. Before my husband died this last August, we had owned a large piece of property where together with our sons, built a small solar house over many years. There, I thought, I had enough room to allow them a safe haven during WT’s physical teaching of the Great Tribulation/Armageddon. (Joel 3:14-16; Rev 16:13-16) I knew this Body was important, but now I truly understand that the Kingdom will not arrive until the last faithful anointed is sealed. (Zech 4:8,9) JWs don't see this, they believe their organization will bring them safely into the "paradise". But God has another plan for the mountain of sin. (Rev 8:8) I realize that the majority of the anointed inside will not gather, for fear of losing the life they have, under a dual power lording it over them. (Matt 10:39) Or, they love unrighteousness, over truth. (2 Thess 2:9-12) They are held spiritually captive, and they are too weak to fight it. (1 Tim 4:1; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10) They will not gather as one body under Christ, while the elders must gather, as their Head the GB, expects them to. Surely, you see the hypocrisy. The "camp of the saints" is surrounded. This will not occur a thousand literal years after Armageddon, since those saints will be ruling with Christ then. It is happening NOW...in the organization - Satan's magnum opus to destroy those in Christ, with a flood of lies. (Rev 12:1,2,13,15-17; 16:13-16; 20:7-10) My beliefs are written in many places here. Isa chapter 2 speaks of Mount Zion rising, and those who put trust in a false “mountain” will see it become level ground. (Zech 4:7) This is the time of “small beginnings”. (Rev 4:10; Amos 7:5) It didn't happen when Russell came on the scene teaching that the Great Pyramid was God's stone witness. It didn't happen with Rutherford, who was imprisoned for a book filled with strange fables, that the clergy and the government were up in arms about. It has happened because the elder body has risen from the ground up, and now is granted total power over God's saints. (Joel 2:1,2; Dan 11:36; Rev 13:5-7; 9:3,4) Anointed “kings of the earth” have gathered, (Rev 1:5; 5:9,10) and many with them, and they are teaching truth outside of the WT. The Marriage Feast does not come after Armageddon, it begins with the unveiling of Revelation. (Rev 1:1,11:1-3; Matt 17:11; Mal :1-3,18; Rev 3:18) This understanding is reaching around the world. Those leaving the “apostate city” are invited, since many who were expected, refuse to attend. (Matt 22:1-10; 25:6-10) YHVH's Genuine Mountain
  20. Prov 27:1 – “Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth” And the result of “predicting”? Matt 24:48-51 - But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. These “servants” are anointed slaves of Christ. (Matt 25:21) How are the anointed Temple "stones", “beaten”? Oh, it has been brought out so many times here, and not one JW who comments, takes note. 1 Cor 3:16,17 - "Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple." Is there truly "anyone" destroying God's temple? "Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God." 2 Thess 2:1-4 Doesn't any JW see, that the fulfillment and the warning scriptures of the end times apply directly to the anointed? "Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. " Who is the man of lawlessness that has exalted itself over the anointed Temple? The "evil servant" of Christ who, after so many failed predictions, gathers his army of elders who "eat and drink" what the evil servant produces. The anointed cannot bond, they are trampled by "Gentiles" who have replaced them as God's priests. THIS is a direct order from the evil slave. (Rev 13:1,2,5-7,11,12,15)
  21. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." 2 Tim 4:3,4
  22. As a JW? As an elder? As a member of an organization that required your "dedication"? No. Jesus is the only "gate". It is a direct path. Any other "path" is a thief that can rob us of eternal life. (John 10:7-10) The organization is not our mediator to reach the Father. (Acts 4:11,12) Maybe you know this; and if you do, surely you realize that no one can serve two masters. (Matt 6:24) However, as an elder, you are serving the needs of an organization, and the men who guide it. You are serving a fake Zion, while obeying the GB's orders to oppress the true "Zion"/"holy city" - the anointed priesthood. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2) You have fallen into the lie that the "royal priesthood" can be "represented" by the elder body. (2 Chron 13:9; Ezek 44:6-9) These members are part of the Body of Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 12) So, whatever is committed against them, is equally committed against Jesus. Something to think about, as a "follower" of Jesus. (Dan 8:25; Acts 9:1-5; Rev 9:4,5; 13:5-7) You had said it would be difficult to worship outside of an organization. The difficulty comes when leaving it - leaving the life you have developed, and the people who would subsequently shun you...behind. It is like the true Christians that fled to the mountains of Judea before Jerusalem was destroyed. They made similar sacrifices, but they were blessed abundantly. (Matt 10:39; 19:29; Luke 14:26; 12:53)
  23. Your whole comment was nicely said. Thank you! It’s not my asking for perfection, it is the desire to know the God of Truth and His Son who is Truth. It would be dishonoring to both of them, to accept the untruths - lies - of men. The “new light” mentality, has nothing to do with the Word of God, but everything to do with the words of uninspired men who fail to receive understanding from Christ. He promised it to those who remain with him. (John 15:5) How many years does it take for someone to realize their spiritual leaders are not receiving the correct understanding from Christ? The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” Ps 119:130 How often has the organization backtracked in the "understanding” of their own doctrine? Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. 17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18 Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.” John 7:16-18 Nothing false to be found in a man of truth. Can you say that about your leadership?
  24. This answer really isn’t for you, since you are so stuck in your organization, and all the delight you experience because of it, that I doubt you will see any spiritual logic.(I so wish you could) But, perhaps those who visit here, who are waking up, can relate. Oh, I can always hope...that perhaps Anna, who sometimes walks precariously around Wt's doctrines, will some day take a side for the authentic "truth" in Christ. (John 14:6) As always, JWs compare themselves, their ”spirit-directed organization”, and its failures, to other organizations, religions, and now… “science, technology medicine, relationships etc.”! When was the last time you really read the Bible? What did Jesus promise those chosen to be part of his Body, and who “remained” in him? Matt 7:7; 18:19,20; John 14:12-14,26; 15:5; 16:23,24; 1 John 2:20-21 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matt+7%3A7%3B+18%3A19%2C20%3B+John+14%3A12-14%2C26%3B+15%3A5%3B+16%3A23%2C24%3B+1+John+2%3A20-21&version=NIV 539 A.D. 1780 1798 1799 1829 1840 1844 1846 1872 1874 1878 1880 1881 1891 1906 1910 1914 1915 1917 1918 1920 1921 1925 1926 1928 1932 1935 1940s 1951 1975 2000 Dates, now worthless and dropped like rocks in a pond. They were all “visions” of your leaders’ minds. And you think God has turned a blind eye to your leaders misleading thousands with their theories? You believe He is that flexible about unrighteous acts, which is another word for “ungodliness”? “Therefore, this is what the Lord of Armies says concerning the prophets: I am about to feed them wormwood and give them poisoned water to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land. 16 This is what the Lord of Armies says: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are deluding you. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the Lord’s mouth. 17 They keep on saying to those who despise me, ‘The Lord has spoken: You will have peace.’ They have said to everyone who follows the stubbornness of his heart, ‘No harm will come to you.’” Jer 23:15-17 Is this why you love the organization in spite of its false teachings? Do you believe that it is the haven of peace and security that it touts to be? (1 Thess 5:3) Like a brush ready to be dipped in the pot, “new light” is frequently held in the hand of your leaders. (Isa 44:20) They apply this convenient coating over the “old light”, to sustain their position and their “tower” built with walls layered with “new light” reinforcement. (Gen 11:4; Isa 2:12-17) It is only a coverup of what lies in their hearts. God reads each heart. (Luke 6:45) You can see what God thinks in this one Bible account of the ancient practice of applying “new light”. In this account, it is referred to as “whitewash”. “‘Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: You have spoken falsely and had lying visions; that’s why you discover that I am against you. This is the declaration of the Lord God. 9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and speak lying divinations. They will not be present in the council of my people or be recorded in the register of the house of Israel, and they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord God. 10 “‘Since they have led my people astray by saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and since when a flimsy wall is being built, they plaster it with whitewash, 11 therefore, tell those plastering it with whitewash that it will fall. Torrential rain will come, and I will send hailstones plunging[a] down, and a whirlwind will be released. 12 When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, “Where’s the whitewash (“new light”) you plastered on it?” Ezek 13:8-12 If JWs truly were not subservient to men, they would not be in the organization. The elders, have immediate power to condemn anyone who may say, "I will only serve God and Christ", since these men expect immediate obedience. And YOU are taught this. JWs will always be subservient to men only. Subservient: -“ prepared to obey others unquestioningly.” “For example, Jehovah wants family members to obey the head of the family. (Col. 3:20) And he wants those in the congregation to obey the elders.” w21 February p. 17-18 Do I obey the elders in my congregation and also those who care for the worldwide congregation?’ w14/9/15 p 9-14 “How can we display our gratitude and esteem for the older men—elders, or overseers—in the congregation? ... Yes, we are to obey them and be submissive, to yield, to them.” w02 3/15 pp. 13-18 “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Gal 1:10 There doesn't appear to be any room to obey/please/win the approval of... men, according to this scripture. (Rom 6:16) Should We Obey Men?
