    - strong core - 2 tim 3 14,15 .... from whom he learned teaching
    - wicked man and impostors would twist Jesus words - generation teachings - constantly repackage Jesus teachings
    - spiritual foundational muscles
    - dogmatic statements we made in past
    -
    - etc. etc
RL speaking about wicked man and impostors that would twist Jesus words.
What was Jesus' words about, for example, "generation"?? Only what we can read in Gospels.  Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened. Mat 24:34
And He stopped at that point!
Who did constantly repackage Jesus words about "generation"? WT and GB! Period! We are witnesses of at least 3 crucial changes on "generation" interpretations.
Please, JW's "strong core" depending very much on Teachers from which they primary heard "the word", is one of element RL speaking about. WT Teachers from Russell to nowadays ...they have changed. Various Teachers and JW got/have various spiritual food. So, this famous "spiritual core" he want to highlight, was different for various generations of JW's. Various generation of JW's are/were not UNITED in one and same Teaching in this time period from 19th century until today. Are they UNITED with Teachings from 1st Century??
And look the miracle. Different, even opposite "spiritual core" that is needed for "spiritual foundational muscles" is based on one, single and same, never changed Jesus' words about "generation". Or about any other Jesus' teachings. But in WTJWorg World everything is possible. To be extracted different and various "divine" teachings from ONE and SAME Bible verse about word "generation" in Mat 24:34.
Who are "wicked man and impostors" inside WTJWorg that (would) twists Jesus words and constantly repackage Jesus teachings? Ex-JW aka apostates? :))) or GB+Helpers+Elders?
?? desanitize = To remove the cleanliness from something; to dirty. To make unsanitary.
WTJWorg past and present is mixture of clean and unclean things. Is that what RL is trying to explain??
... one day we may hit the time whether personally or as organization when all the other peripherals are gone, all the extras (conventions, TV, videos, music WT articlec etc).
What will they have left, to JW's, when traditional and peripherals spiritual elements gone? They will be left with "old questionable spiritual food" ... as in all the years, decades before.

I didn't bother to read @TrueTomHarley book promoting rubbish above, as he just loves to try to be funny and/or make excuses for his failed American Governing Body. It is such a shame that they are all American or American influenced. They have become 'big headed' and obviously do not have God's or Christ's approval.
A couple of quotes for dear Tom.
It’s called getting the overall picture and not just zeroing in on what you want to see.
OK, so lets enlarge on that one Tom. Overall picture of the Org' from it's beginning shows that the Org and it's Leaders have been putting dates on Armageddon from step one. It shows the Org' has been using Armageddon to frighten people into the Org'. One reason for doing so is to get more money from people, more congregants = more donations. another reason for doing so is Power. The bigger the Org, the more people the Leaders can control. Add to this that there is then more people to spread the lies of the Leaders. The more the lies are spoken, the more people will start to believe them.
Then of course we have, what Tom calls my favourite subject. An overall picture of the Child Sexual Abuse within the CCJW / JW org shows that in Australia they started recoding it 50 years ago, but strangely enough America only seems to have a database / records for the past 25 ish years ???? But overall it can be seen as an Earthwide serious problem within the CCJW.
So there we have an overall outlook on a couple of points concerning the CCJW. Just to note that many of us on here do look at the overall picture but then we get criticised for it.
    Second quote
And what of this diatribe of yours that the ‘true anointed’ is to manifest itself (out of nowhere) in but a few years max? Is that not you asserting we are in the last of the last?
It does seem that some on here do not have ANY SPIRITUAL FEELINGS AT ALL. They have NO FAITH IN GOD OR CHRIST.
I can imagine Tom stood at the Red Sea with Moses. Tom would be saying "What's this diatribe about God saving us from the Egyptians"   Where is your faith Tom ?
The last hour of the last day as per your GB, would seem to mean this year or next.  I have said it would take a few years to straighten out the CCJW and that would need a True Anointed to run it.  I like to say 'True Anointed' as it has two meanings. 1. your GB keep saying that some 'anointed' are actually mentally sick. 2. your GB seem to think only they are 'special' and anointed. So TRUE ANOUNTED ones would not be 'sick' and would not be of your GB.
I have in the past backed this up with scripture, but it has proven pointless as JW GB worshippers are blind to reason.
    @Anna quote
Yes. It's natural for every generation to want to live to see all the good promises fulfilled in their lifetime. With the right attitude, this should not be a disturbing thing to anyone, at best.
Sorry Anna, bad try. You seem to be washing over facts, such as your GB  pretending to be the F&DS and previous leaders also pretending to be inspired of God's Holy Spirit. Not only have congregants served those Leaders to the point of worshipping them, but congregants have taken that message to millions of people in the world. The message that has been spread so far and wide has been LIES. If you do not find that disturbing then you have a problem.
Thank you @Witness for adding further proof of the OVERALL PICTURE which Tom seems to want.

Such a flippant remark, as if God doesn't hear; especially when HE stated:
"But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”
If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.:  Deut 18:20,22
After their long lineage of failed prophesy, they didn’t stop with 1975.
    These are prophesies as well:
1989 "The apostle Paul was spearheading the Christian missionary activity. He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century." Wt. Jan. 1, 1989, p. 12 [bound volume changed "20th century" to "day"])
"The countdown that has proceeded for some six millenniums now nears its zero hour. So close is it that people who were alive in 1914, and who are now well along in years, will not all pass off the scene before the thrilling events marking the vindication of Jehovah's sovereignty come to pass." Survival into a New Earth (1984) p.184
1992 "Today, a small percentage of mankind can still recall the dramatic events of 1914. Will that elderly generation pass away before God saves the earth from ruin? Not according to Bible prophecy. 'When you see all these things,' Jesus PROMISED, 'know that he is near at the doors. Truly I say to you that THIS generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.' - Matthew 24:33, 34." Wt May 1, 1992 page 3: The Year That Shocked The World)
"Before the last members of the generation that was alive in 1914 will have passed off the scene, all the things foretold will occur, including the “great tribulation” in which the present wicked world will end." Reasoning from the Scriptures p.97
And then, we have this spiritual “Reasoning”…
1993 "Further, the widely circulated booklet Millions Now Living Will Never Die presented the view that in 1925, God's purposes regarding the restoring of the earth to Paradise and the resurrecting of the faithful ones of old would begin to be fulfilled. ... The year 1925 came to its conclusion, but the end was not yet! Ever since the 1870's, Bible Students had been serving with a date in mind - first 1914, then 1925. Now they realized that they must serve for as long as Jehovah wishes." (Watchtower; Nov. 1, 1993; p. 12)
It interesting that they didn't mention 1975 in that quote.  With your leaders, once a false prophet, always a false prophet.  They continue to “prophesy” falsely, today.
Concerning who comprise “this generation”, in 1995 it is said,
"Jesus was not departing from his established use of the term “this generation”, which he consistently applied to the contemporary masses with their “blind guides” who together made up the Jewish nation. ... Jesus refers principally to contemporary people of a certain historical period, with their identifying characteristics." Watchtower 1995 Nov 1 pp.14,20
No, no no!  THIS is what Jesus meant:
2008 - "As a class, these anointed ones make up the modern-day "generation" of contemporaries that will not pass away "until all these things occur." This suggests that some who are Christ's anointed brothers will still be alive on earth when the foretold great tribulation begins." Watchtower 2008 Feb 15 p.24
    But wait!  Evidently, he meant…
2010 - "He evidently meant that the lives of the anointed who were on hand when the sign began to become evident in 1914 would overlap with the lives of other anointed ones who would see the start of the great tribulation." Watchtower 2010 April 15 p.10
And…where are you and David Splane with this today?  Just who are the “blind guides” anyway?
1 John 4:1 - "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

You uphold an organization’s teachings that you really know little, of what is taught its members.
The image of the beast at first was the League of Nations, now called the United Nations, for this arrangement was established to perpetuate the visible, political organization and its control over the earth.   w66 8/15 pp. 497-502
As explained in previous issues of The Watchtower, the scarlet-colored beast is the international peace organization now known as the United Nations.  w67 4/1 pp. 219-223 -
Today the hot question under debate is: Call mankind be one under these two systems, democratic and totalitarian? Can these two systems keep living side by side, ruling at the same time on the earth? A political attempt at holding them together is the organization of the United Nations. w56 4/1 pp. 195-208
The “scarlet-colored wild beast” represents the United Nations, and “the ten horns” represent all the political powers that support it.— Read Revelation 17:3, 16-18.  ws15 7/15 pp. 9-15
Soon Jehovah will cause the political elements of Satan’s system, as represented by the United Nations, to attack false religion.  w12 6/15 pp. 14-18
This is why no loyal JW would engage in any activity having to do with the United Nations.  This is why many left the organization when they found out the WT held membership as an NGO.
Yes, your view is worldly, in the same manner as the Watchtower organization.  Your eye is completely centered on the fulfillment of Christ’s coming according to the visible signs seen in the world.  1 Cor 2:14
I’m done answering your comments here, SM.  When you can explain Watchtower’s involvement in the OSCE, then be sure to let everyone know.

For you, a man of the world,  its all absolutely fine and acceptable.  For a devout JW who believes they are "no part of the world",  they are following God’s organization, and who are thoroughly convinced the Wild Beast is the UN, ANY association with it, on ANY level is not acceptable, as they have been taught through the organization’s teachings.
No matter how you slice it.
Especially since any JW that may choose to work for a political organization, can be disfellowshipped.

    Two documents to consider.
JWfacts breaks down the event quite thoroughly, including how #1 was implemented through the literature; while also providing examples of WT linking the UN with Revelation's Wild Beast:
"No, the UN is not a blessing, even though the religious clergy of Christendom and the rabbis of Jewry pray heaven’s blessing upon that organization. It is really “the image of the wild beast,” the visible political, commercial organization of “the god of this system of things,” Satan the Devil. So the UN will soon be destroyed along with that beastly organization." Watchtower 1984 Sep 15 p.15
    Please notice the documents state,
#1 ..."the (Watchtower) organization agreed to meet criteria for association, including support and respect of the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and commitment and means to conduct effective information programmes with its constituents and to a broader audience about UN activities".
#2...that the "issuance of a library pass is independent of NGO status or any other status."

Is this enough honesty for you, @BillyTheKid46?
Since an NGO status is not needed to receive a library card, why did the Wt. apply for NGO membership?  Can your leaders honestly tell you why?  Not really, otherwise they would not have terminated their status as an NGO.

I admit, I didn’t read what you so laboriously wrote; because, it really doesn’t matter.  When the Watchtower was caught as an NGO member in the US, they blushed, made excuses and quickly removed their membership.  Why?  Since it began as the League of Nations, it has been labeled the Wild Beast of Revelation 13:1.  JWs are taught again and again that it is a blasphemous image….to stay away from.  To find out that WT leaders dabbled in ‘blasphesmy’ led to many people leaving their hypocritical teachings behind.  What was “Jehovah’s organization” doing, by cavorting with the Beast, and the world? To a JW who sincerely thought he was “safe” in “Jehovah’s spirit-directed organization”, such news can be devastating and nauseating, physically and emotionally.   Those that taught others to be "no part of the world" are fully immersed in its activity.
Thank you for linking the Six Screens "Healing River" program.  .  It reminds me to post Pearl’s latest soundcloud which was very good.  About this, you just don’t get it, SM.  This forum is an avenue to air opinions and facts.  I am surrounded here by the majority who disagree with me and I don’t agree with them.   Should I leave because I personally feel JWs have been misled by lies?  Until I’m told to leave, I’ll stay, because I believe there are truths that need to be aired to those that were once my “brothers and sisters”.   Should Pearl stop using Six Screens because the majority there hold a different view? She is not endorsing the programs of others.   If  another choice is easier for her, she will change.  For the meantime, it is an avenue that draws many listeners – JWs who have been harmed or disgusted by two-faced doctrine and want to know spiritual truth.   It provides a similar outlet just as this forum has provided.  I don’t agree with all that Jason Zelda believes, but I do appreciate what he has exposed as hard facts about the WT.
You have fallen in the same trap that Jason spoke of, when he addressed shunning.  You have snubbed your nose and lumped Pearl together with all others on Six Screen.  This is a view the Pharisees were good at - narrow-minded accusations that Jesus was a sinner because he spoke and ate with tax collectors and harlots.  The interesting thing is, they listened; while the Pharisees who needed to listen as well, labeled him as a demon.  This is what the WT does continually to those who refuse their doctrinal lies.  They are labeled “human apostates”, “mentally diseased”, as Jason brought out in the video.
In a doctor’s office that my very sick husband visits, the receptionist is a JW from another congregation that I was in.  But, she knows who I am.   He had to step out when paying for the visit so I stepped in to finished the transaction.  She couldn’t look me in the eye, keeping her head down; since my name far and wide carries the label, “apostate”, of the very worst.  I thanked her at the end of the transaction but she was so afraid, she couldn’t utter “you’re welcome”, imparting a slight grumble instead.   This is so different than how I approached disfellowshipped ones when I was in the organization.  I wanted to assure them of my love and wasn’t afraid to sit by them during a meeting, making eye contact and smiling at them.  I wasn’t afraid to speak to them in public and ask how they were.   They received no other love when visiting the congregation.  Their faces were deadpan, they were completely ignored when attending meetings.  For many, the only reason they strive to regain their place in the congregation is because they want to be loved by those whom they thought would loved them until the end.
To the woman in the office, I am her enemy, but it won’t stop me from following Jesus’ teachings as closely as possible, and speaking to as many JWs and anointed “Israel”, as I possibly can.  Matt 10:6,23
“You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For he causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what are you doing out of the ordinary? Don’t even the Gentiles do the same?48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”  Matt 5:43-48
“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 If you do what is good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High. For he is gracious to the ungrateful and evil. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.”  Luke 6:32-36

I write this to JWs, who know exactly what I'm talking about.  You are an outsider, fully immersed in the activities of the world; so, to you, whatever WT does, appears to be okay; as they cleverly speak out both sides of the mouth.  They convince its members they are "no part of the world" by saying,
     - Stay away from politics.  Be neutral. (but, for the org., it's okay to accept gifts from members that includes military stock)  Don't smoke, (but its okay for the org. to have stock in cigarette companies if it is a gift)
But train the JW eye to...
     - Pay attention to the signs in Satan's world.  Look closely at politics and the wars at hand.  Examine all activities occurring in Satan's realm and be prepared for disaster.
"About the times and the seasons (this is the season of worldly unrest):  Brothers and sisters, you do not need anything to be written to you.  For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.  When they say, "Peace and security" then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape" 1 Thess 5:1-3

You are so right, SM, I am “ignorant” of UN’s worldly dealings, since I try earnestly to be “no part of the world”.  If it has been debunked, perhaps YOU can share this with @Equivocation as ‘food for thought’.
In the meantime, some things are just so blatant, they can’t be “debunked”.   This is for Equivocation to explore Watchtower’s worldly ties in Europe, even after it was revealed the organization had been a member of the NGO in the US for nine years.
     It begins around 8:48

Here’s just one example of their involvement, reaching out to the UN instead of God for support.  There are many more.   In fact, Watchtower’s historic court battles are always fought on the worldly front.  If a case is won, they say God is responsible for their victory.  However, Russia steps in and wipes out their material holdings, and JWs begin fleeing the country.  The case presented by JW’s lawyers just didn’t save them, much to their surprise.  Where was God’s helping hand during that time?  To mitigate the conundrum, Russia is now prophetically proclaimed  by the GB as the “King of the north”.  Ah, that remedies their problem of dealing with mass hysteria.  Apparently, God will step in soon and save the Watchtower idol.
    No.
"This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:
I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you for your benefit,
who leads you in the way you should go.
18 If only you had paid attention to my commands.
Then your peace would have been like a river,
and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
19 Your descendants would have been as countless as the sand,
    and the offspring of your body like its grains;
their name would not be cut off
or eliminated from my presence."  Isa 48:17-19
Membership is dropping, simply because the Watchtower is bolstering a lie and people don't want to hear it.

    Another example.

There is one thing that I know that you don’t know, SM.  I can recognize Watchtower’s deception.  You are ignorant of its power.

I really don't know, but speaking of NGO, here is some food for thought.

    “A MISSION TO AFRICA”
Jehovah’s Witnesses should not be naïve to the fact that the Watchtower Society acquired a measure of political stature with the United Nations after becoming an associate NGO. Ostensibly, the purpose was to muster support in behalf of Jehovah’s Witnesses facing difficult situations in various countries throughout the world. And evidently partnering with the UN has not gone unrewarded, which is betrayed in small ways by the organization itself, such as the following brief report that appeared in the July 22, 2001, Awake!
To what extent has the Watchtower received help directly from the United Nations? It is hard to say. However, it turns out that it was much more than the use of a vehicle on one occasion. In trying to get to the bottom of the Watchtower’s dealings with the UN, this researcher has discovered that the Watchtower has spawned nearly a dozen subsidiary NGOs in various European nations. For instance, prior to the Watchtower gaining associate NGO status in 1992, in 1990, an NGO called Aidafrique was set up in France. What was its intended purpose? The Zambia Daily Mail of June 17, 1999, under the heading: “French NGO officials, jet in to help Congo DR refugees,” reported the following:
The Zambian news reveals that it was only through their cooperation with UNHCR that the Aidafrique NGO was able to accomplish its humanitarian objectives. But if the secular media in Africa openly reports on Aidafrique’s cooperative ventures with various agencies of the United Nations, why is not the Watchtower more forthright in informing Jehovah’s Witnesses about their accomplishments? If the Watchtower’s relationship with the United Nations is such an honorable arrangement, why not publicize it—as they have so many other UN-sponsored programs? Most likely the reason subsidiary NGOs like Aidafrique were set up in the first place was in order to keep the more familiar Watchtower brand name in the background and off the front page.
Interestingly, a few years ago Jehovah’s Witnesses in France independently published a brochure entitled “A Mission to Africa.” In it, they explained in detail the activities of the Aidafrique NGO. On pages 9-10, the revealing comment was made:
Certainly, no one is questioning the motives of Jehovah’s Witnesses in seeking to render lifesaving emergency aid to the long-suffering brothers in Africa. It was the right and Christian thing to do. But the question is—at what price? Is it worth cutting a deal with the Devil to save a soul? Jehovah’s Witnesses in Malawi did not think so. They were not even willing to buy a 25-cent political ID card, even though they're not doing so unleashed a horrific pogrom against them.

I was under the mistaken opinion that the Isaiah 2 quote had been removed somehow (my ignorance).  So, after doing a little digging, I came up with this quote, which tells me the U.N. never was involved “with putting that text in big letters on that wall”.
“The complex is also notable for its gardens and outdoor sculptures. Iconic sculptures include the "Knotted Gun", called Non-Violence, a statue of a Colt Python revolver with its barrel tied in a knot, which was a gift from the Luxembourg government and "Let Us Beat Swords into Plowshares” ", a gift from the Soviet Union. The latter sculpture is the only appearance of the "swords into plowshares" quotation, from Isaiah 2:4, within the complex. Contrary to popular belief, the quotation is not carved on any UN building. Rather, it is carved on the "Isaiah Wall" of Ralph Bunche Park across First Avenue.
Ralph Bunche Park is a small municipal public park in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of New York City, on First Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets.. It was named in 1979 for Ralph Bunche, the first African-American to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
The park is across First Avenue from the United Nations headquarters. (This stretch of First Avenue is also known as "United Nations Plaza".)
It was built and dedicated in 1948 during construction of the U.N. headquarters and has the famous quotation from Isaiah 2:4: "They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more" incised into its wall. Known as the Isaiah Wall, it was rededicated in 1975 and had the name "Isaiah" added under the final word.
Because of its proximity to the United Nations, the peace theme of the Isaiah Wall and Peace Form One, and Bunche's career as a peacemaker, the park is a popular site for demonstrations and rallies concerning peace and other international issues. In 1985 the park was dedicated as New York City's first Peace Park.
Loesch:  “Before true peace and security will come to the earth…there will be a time when people will think they have achieved it, but they will be in error”.
What people would that be, really?
“’For the law will go out of Zion, heavenly Zion today, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem.  And then in verse 4 it says that they will beat their swords into plowshares their spears into pruning shears, nation will not lift up sword against nation nor will they learn war anymore.’”  Well, wonderful prophesy.  When will this prophesy be fulfilled?
***It’s been already fulfilled in Jehovah’s people***.
So, we are part of the fulfillment of this prophecy.”
    Which part of prophecy?
“When they say, “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”  1 Thess 5:3
“because when this will be fulfilled it could be some catching announcement, or it could be a series of such announcements about peace and security – it must be something special because they always in the past been talking about peace and security, but we expect something special to be ***announced*** and then (?) the Watchtower expressed that this reflects the wrong assumption of the people…”
JWs, to assume that the law will go out of Zion through an organization waist-deep in lawsuits, and an elder rule having power to judge another as spiritually “dead”, is sheer blindness to God’s righteous decrees.
Personally, I felt Loesch seemed quite uncomfortable at times when giving this talk. For a polished speaker, there must be some underlying reason for his attempt not to choke on his own words.  Perhaps he was lying.

It is so sad, that these men do not exalt Jesus as David did; but instead, exalt themselves.  (Ps 110:1)   David will always be exalted.  Rev 3:7;5:5; 22:16

“Notable efforts”, “sincerely tried”, “provided”, “contributed”, “assisted”.  It sounds like  the WT was successful in supporting the UN Charter.
But, during the same time period, in another magazine…
To trust any man-made substitute for God’s Kingdom makes that substitute an image, an object of worship. (Revelation 13:14, 15) Thus, encouraging reliance on political institutions, such as the United Nations, for peace and security is an illusion, a lie.
Even a revived UN can never bring peace and security. God’s prophetic Word shows that the United Nations organization with its member nations “will battle with the Lamb [Christ in Kingdom power], but, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them.”—Revelation 17:14.  w91 6/1 p. 19-20

“What is this symbolic creature’s source of authority? Why, none other than Satan, the dragon! And just imagine! To this political monstrosity a two-horned beast (the Anglo-American World Power) is seen to make an “image,” now known as the United Nations. Many are coerced to worship the wild beast and accept its “mark” by doing things its way and letting it rule their lives. But Jehovah’s Witnesses staunchly reject the demonic mark of the wild beast!”  w91 5/1 p. 22-23
This is so ironic!  We see the Wt. accepted the UN’s “mark” by supporting/doing things the UN’s way - supporting their Charter -  while slandering it with vile comments, in another titled magazine, most likely not made evident to the UN.
Can we trust an organization that speaks evil and good out of the same mouth?
“Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12 My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.”  James 3:11,12

So, what really is…the man-made substitute for God’s Kingdom that defines the Beast of Revelation?  Who really is…the false prophet/two horned Beast of Rev 13:11 that guides the first Beast/organization?
It is the only organization that knows who God’s “saints” are, and who “makes war" against them, by blaspheming the role of the appointed priesthood designated by God. (Rev 13:5-9)   It is the only organization that guarantees "peace and security".  (1 Thess 5:3)  If any “reject” this organization’s mark, they are “killed” - disfellowshipped.  Rev 13:15
"For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles."
    After all, they are beasts.
"They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things (a man made organization)  rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen."  Rom 1:21-23,25

WT writers of Awake magazine using words that shows how UN is/was powerless in many worlds events, wars primarily, but how their work is commendable and how JW members render due respect to UN as any other government because they are here with God's permission and how some form of government is necessary to maintain order and law in society.
The Awake magazine using Bible verses that are, that have wide application. Read this please: Clearly, the United Nations does not have the ability to bring world peace. Its members and supporters are all imperfect humans, notwithstanding their lofty goals. The Bible says that “to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.” (Jeremiah 10:23) Furthermore, God warns: “Do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs.”—Psalm 146:3.
Two facts are supported with Bible verses which are "a double-edged sword". One edge is for UN and other edge is for GB. First, earthly man is unable to direct his steps, and second, do not put your trust in man. And what JW members can learn from this? If they listen better to what anyone is telling them on JWTV, then they will wonder why GB leaders are inviting their members to show them their trust and why GB thinks that they are able to manage/direct their own steps?
Did the UN “accomplish these aims”? Did it get the nations to unite their strength and maintain peace and security? No, not so far, although the UN has sincerely tried to be a significantly better way than the League of Nations....Jehovah’s Witnesses firmly believe that the United Nations is going to play a major role in world events in the very near future. No doubt these developments will be very exciting. And the results will have a far-reaching impact on your life. We urge you to ask Jehovah’s Witnesses in your neighborhood for more details on this matter. The Bible clearly paints a picture showing that the United Nations will very shortly be given power and authority. The UN will then do some very astonishing things that may well amaze you. And you will be thrilled to learn that there is yet a better way near at hand that will surely bring eternal peace and security! - https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/101991643
For 50 years the United Nations organization has made notable efforts to bring about world peace and security. Arguably, it may have prevented a third world war, and the wholesale destruction of human life through the use of nuclear bombs has not been repeated. The United Nations has provided millions of children with food and medicine. It has contributed to improved health standards in many countries, providing, among other things, safer drinking water and immunization against dangerous diseases. Millions of refugees have received humanitarian assistance. - https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1995720

@Srecko SostarThank you for posting the "proof".  It’s interesting to note how the organization lived up to its agreement to support the Charter of the U.N.  It is easy to find news and articles in the Awake magazine on the U.N./United Nations for those years of the organization’s membership.   During that time period and in that magazine particularly, it wasn't all about the UN as the "Beast" of Revelation, but relating to its works world-wide.
