  1. Before you criticize my comment? First learn to read. I neither made any suggestion the POPE ordered any type of vandalism on any ancient pagan shrine. However, there are unscrupulous people in Mexico that hate the Watchtower enough to orchestrate such a thing. Later will find out. As for the POPE making comments about how fast Catholics in Latin America are converting to Witnesses? Google it and learn. I understand you pretenders of the truth need an avenue to criticize the Watchtower.
  2. The subject matter is what I was referring too, nothing else. It seems your definition of Jesus is therefore, as a prankster. Like the TV SHOW, Supernatural that gets a lot of input by Robert that is in real estate and has little knowledge other than being a witness once. The Watchtower doesn’t control my thoughts or understanding, God(Jehovah) does, the father of the heavenly Son, and the son of man. Two different people. I understand what you think scripture means to you, however flawed. I was asked why I think Christendom isn’t following scripture by making disciples and baptizing them. Well, here’s a very good argument how far Christendom still needs to learn fundamental truth. Very Text you mentioned, you have misinterpreted. So, who lied to you?
  3. Yes, its very telling as a pretender of the truth as you hasn't a clue, of what goes on in the background in the WT Society, and how many claims are errors of not understanding the laws that govern spirituality and social justice. As for the Status Bar you mark, well to each its own. The fact that you hate your post being challenged speaks volumes of all the falsehoods you have posted so far.
  4. Its flattering when I see a pair of born again Christians coming together to hypothesis that Jesus is God. While it is an antiquated view? It seems to making its way back since The Catholic Pope right now is a Jesuit. The best argument a Cardinal once gave me was John 1:1. “The Word” It has more of an impressive overture to figuring the scale of Deity Jesus was. Then you have to file the myriad of information from the Jewish, Coptic, and Early Christian tradition. Of course this would have to be after the Nicene Fathers, and after the reformation of the 15 century. The thing, this Cardinal couldn’t answer, that is, with the for mentioned scripture, there’s always room for confusion. Trinitarians always find a need to join the Father, Son, and the Holy ghost into one, by misinterpreting scripture. It suggests ancient script can neither be understood or translated to a proper meaning or definition. Yet with the variations of scripture, one can understand the intent the writer meant to rely. One is Luke 23:34. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up His garments by casting lots. The question the Cardinal could not answer was this: Since God has no beginning or an end? Why would God find it a need to materialize? It was for the benefit of who, and why would Jesus the Father need to supplicate to himself. Same question from a different view point. Matthew 27:46. About the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me? Why would God find it a need to yell out in a loud voice, if he is one and the same. Is God, a God of trickery? Did Jesus find it a need to deceive his audience? What was the purpose of looking up to the heavens if he created it, and the angelic realm? To supplicate to himself. That would imply a delusional Christ, a wicked Messiah, because he’d be crazy enough to talk to himself, and deceive a group of people all this time. It is only the absurdity that some suggest that the Trinity has any merit. It would be equally absurd to suggest that Jesus was the creator or co-creator of this system implied by the librarian, instead of a Master Builder. So, Jesus (Yahushua) the Christ becomes “lord and Savior” “the anointed one” (messiah) in its original form, “Help of Jehovah or Savior” not as God but as the “word” a God, which is a lesser deity for being the first created, and savior of humanities sins.
  5. No really, Sensationalism always makes the News, especially if its towards Jehovah’s Witnesses. Now there are many shysters out in the world trying to cash in on this Child Abuse, and many ex-witnesses making claim. God will handle it all appropriately without the intervention of clueless people attempting to add to this sensationalism.
  6. While sensationalism is heightened? It is always prudent to know the subject one is referring to. The last Latin American Cities Conference the Pope attended in Santiago Chile this past April, outlined the scope in converts in Central America. Perhaps you should expand your knowledge and learn to criticize appropriately. If you must include Pastor Russell in your discussion? Then learn the truth that it was the Catholic Priest that first attacked him, by calling him a none pastoral charlatan.
  7. Exactly! where has Christendom been for those 2000 years, but waging war within themselves and other religions. So the premise of CULTS!!! lie with how? lets at least define what Christendom has NOT done to properly follow in Christ Steps.
  8. Just like in anything, sensationalized by the media. Were these people actual JW’s? Some stipulate they were recent converted group of Witnesses that became overzealous and acted independently of The Watchtower Christian Teachings. However, even an uneducated witness wouldn’t care one way or the other to ancient Pagan shrines. The only good answer would be, a group of Catholic sympathizers pretending to be Jehovah’s Witnesses orchestrated that defilement to tarnish the Watchtower in order to STOP an unprecedented convert from Catholic to Witnesses. Jehovah’s Witnesses are fully aware the attack the POPE has imposed on the Watchtower, and has committed its Bishops to stop the converts at all cost. So if you’re going to read things about the Watchtower only to complain, and criticize it? Then review and read the fine print of other religions that Satan is using to attack the Watchtower. For the Watchtower, there is nothing new with religious attacks other than since the 80’s with the introduction of the internet. Scrupulous people tend to exaggerate a problem such as child abuse, that ALL religions are guilty of. People seem to view a bad apple as a bad barrel. Sensationalist journalist will always over play facts. Remember, LATIN AMERICA is famous for that.
  9. This seems a little farfetched, if you believe your understanding has a better claim to salvation than Christ. You mention “Mother”. Many Christians maintain an earthly view of Mary. However, Mary served her purpose as a vessel, nothing else. Now, you seem to forget, or don’t wish to recognize is, no one comes to the Father, unless through me. All past covenants are now reliant on Christ Sacrifice. So, while you may wish to advertise frivolous websites? Only through the Glory of God and Christ will anyone gain everlasting life. That’s non-negotiable, including Witnesses, and or anyone claiming falsehoods through their own understanding, NOT scripture. The last time I looked, The Watchtower has made every attempt as Christ did to educate the spiritually infirm. What has Christendom done, besides boast that Jesus is God, and there is no Armageddon, but there is a literal heaven and hell. Bible thumpers usually stick with hellfire, but that’s why learning scripture goes a long way. Matthew 28:19 Context: THE GREAT COMMISSION Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Where is Christendom about accepting a command Christ instructed. Matthew Henry Commentary He now solemnly commissioned the apostles and his ministers to go forth among all nations. The salvation they were to preach, is a common salvation; whoever will, let him come, and take the benefit; all are welcome to Christ Jesus. Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 13:52 Context: The Parable of the Net 52Then He told them, “For this reason, every scribe who has been discipled in the kingdom of heaven is like a homeowner who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.” What would be the objective for Christendom? Which they have NOT done in the name of Christ. Luke 24:47 Context: Jesus Unveils the Scriptures and in His name repentance and forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem. Acts 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. So, the process was to continue beyond the Apostles time. Where is Christendom with the simplest of task, that the Jehovah’s Witnesses have taken the lead on. Who has come to emulate our Lord and Savior really? Christendom, please! They only devote themselves for self-interest, not for the people of the world. Matthew 25:31-32 Context: The Sheep and the Goats When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. 32All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 Context: Christ's Coming 7and to grant relief to you who are oppressed, and to us as well, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels 8in blazing fire. He will inflict vengeance on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. This will include churches that acclaim apostasy. So Christendom has a long way to go before they can walk in Jesus footsteps. 1 Peter 2:21 Context: Christ's Example of Suffering 21For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His footsteps. So are Jehovah’s Witnesses taking the lead on those things mentioned in scripture? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. The Watchtower is not in the habit of listening to every Shyster that comes along with a Detrimental claim of child Abuse. The individual has the responsibility to seek secular justice, as has been done with any heinous crimes. If that were the case, anyone could sue the President of any respective country with all the problems lobbied against it.
  11. Nice epilogue, with MIXED signals. Once again, if you’re going to use Bible Student Ideology, understand what they were dealing with, with world events and religious views at that time. What the IBSA message was for that era. If you want to criticize the WTS, then start from 1931…forward. That way people can see the nonsense for what it is, instead of thinking people are smart for throwing out a bunch of meaningless research, just like how FALSE it is to think and QUESTION if the bread used was UNLEAVENED or LEAVEN, please…read the bible. Read and learn what the difference was for the Passover and the Lord’s evening meal, and why so many have misconceptions about the DAY and HOUR. However, after the finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Most scholars that research the gospel focus and understand the theme and language to be generally Jewish. But conflicts with some of the Judean establishment as an Intra-Jewish Debate. JW’s literature: Watchtower December 15, 2013 Page 15 Jehovah Witnesses obey God’s commandments, NOT the meaningless rhetoric that MAN makes, if Christians should or shouldn’t observe a Jewish Tradition based on Christ words that EVERYONE should observe…since salvation was extended to EVERYONE. So Jews, None Jews, or anyone seeking salvation is invited to the observance of Christ Memorial. Exodus 12:8 context: The First Passover Luke 22:19 context: The Lord's Supper Instituted Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary 22:19,20 The Lord's supper is a sign or memorial of Christ already come, who by dying delivered us; his death is in special manner set before us in that ordinance, by which we are reminded of it. The breaking of Christ's body as a sacrifice for us, is therein brought to our remembrance by the breaking of bread. Nothing can be more nourishing and satisfying to the soul, than the doctrine of Christ's making atonement for sin, and the assurance of an interest in that atonement. Therefore we do this in remembrance of what He did for us, when he died for us; and for a memorial of what we do, in joining ourselves to him in an everlasting covenant. The shedding of Christ's blood, by which the atonement was made, is represented by the wine in the cup. Side note: Ann O’maly The only thing you dismantled was how WRONG you are and have been for MANY years. You do better when you criticize the WTS in other sites. At least everyone there knows you’re a non-witness. And yes, there is a conspiracy when your friends DELETE the proof needed to see how wrong you were. But then again, I don’t need that kind of assistance to defend the truth.
  12. I would expect no less from a staunch supporter of ANN, JWinsider. However, half-truth and lies don’t make a factual answer. Something you should be familiar with yourself, since you also agree with ANN on the UN NGO DPI fabrication, by reading between the lines and misinterpreting the WTS intended purpose. “Just to continue access to the UN Library” Anything else is just embedded rhetoric. Now I’m being generous. If people want to actually learn about the truth surrounding scripture? The WTS has done that to the best of its ability. Fractal fallacies dreamt by opposers isn’t research. I would say, the majority of things posted on the internet are FALSE and FABRICATED to look good for others to criticize. I would venture to say, an active witness with over 30 years of bible truth, has just begun to understand scripture. It takes a life time of dedication to achieve half of what the Apostles learned from Christ. That’s why Theology is NOT just one factor but many levels of understanding. Something the GB has done very well. And thank you JWinsider for seeing my latter point at least. It’s always a pleasure. Dear JWtheologian I believe that some people don't like to listen the truth and they even try to hide it... are you one of those people? Not at all GD. I enjoy reading the truth. People that are disassociated but pretend to be an active witness does not qualify as written truth. Something you are correct about. The day someone other than brothers and Ex-Witnesses show me something new here? Then, just like GB Jackson told the ARC, We are always interested in new research to see it does or does not harmonize with scripture. Meanwhile, about 99.3 % have been wrong with understanding scripture. Especially ex-bethelites. Lol!
  13. 'Erred view'? Lol, I think your memory might be tricking you. You rehashed Hislopian misconceptions, tried to pass off fiction and fable as historical fact, and copy-pasted any old bits of nonsense off the internet in a vain attempt to add weight to sensationalist, unverified claims about ancient Christmas practice. Is it the Org, or you puffed up with pride? It seems you have forgotten ALL the Encyclopedia and book references I used to illustrate how wrong you were. That’s how you trend this reverse psychology manifestation technique. And now you have just proven another point when disassociated people as yourself find a need to show how wrong the WTS got its dates and time wrong, when all the time it was the original poster that got it wrong. Anyone can misrepresent the WTS literature, and its intended purpose. How about linking the thread that disproved your theory on Saturnalia that was DELETED by TheWorldNewsMedia in your behalf. So people can have the ACTUAL FACTS. Lol
  14. The point would be the impression that the 14th of Nissan should be observed flawlessly on that pinpoint precise time. Depending on which sequential calendar scheme one uses. The 14th of Nissan can fall on, before or after. The observation is done at the Jewish rendering of sunset. Their calendar runs from sunset to sunset per day, so it really doesn’t matter what hour equation one uses. The timing is not important much more than the observance, another thing you’re missing. Just like the erred view you have with Saturnalia in other posts. I believe, I was clear on that. So unless, one has been to the past to define the exact time? Modern mathematical computation tables will defer, there's nothing absolute. Just as illustrated with the Solstice and Equinox. Time will defer from GMT to any other time zone. Gregorian calendar: 2016 March 23 Julian Calendar: 2016 March 10 Hebrew Calendar: 5776 Veadar 13 Hebrew Calendar: 5776 Nissan 14 / Gregorian calendar: 2016 April 21 Hebrew Calendar 3776 Nissan 14 / Gregorian calendar -3727 March 24 / Sunset to Sunset 23/24
  15. Is it the actual time, that fails people, or is it the commandment that Jesus proclaimed to be observed. In a world full of imperfection, it would be mundane to cherry pick fallacies that are made daily by an overwhelming majority. The only logic behind such nonsense is to criticize. However, criticize what? Some here have failed with Saturnalia, what point can be made from those that question God’s Will. The disassociated can always find a reason. Does that make a person a genuine Witness, you decide. Just don’t blame the WTS or God if you chose poorly. Remember what the cup of Christ and the unleavened bread mean, not the object themselves. The Christ myth and solstice WILLIAM EDELEN We are buried this time of year in mythology, legend and folklore. How many hundreds of times have we been told that Christmas celebrates the origin of Christianity? This, of course, is false. Christmas was around for eons before Jesus was ever born. For thousands of years, the Winter Solstice -- Dec. 22-25 -- has been the most special time of the year and the most important date in human celebration. The sun has started its long journey home bringing springtime. Celebrating this event in this month of solstice I am part of the line of descent that has been uninterrupted almost from the birth of humankind. There has been no time when someone, somewhere, was not celebrating this date. Long before the mythological birth date of Jesus in the solstice period, our bloodstream ran in the veins of sun gods and sun worshippers, Greeks and Romans, barbarians in the Germanic forests, northern worshippers of Thor, and Egyptians, Jews, Gauls, Persians and Indians. No wonder humans have celebrated the date of the Winter Solstice for thousands of years considering our survival depends upon the return of the sun. No wonder that the birth of the gods in almost all religious traditions were said to have taken place during the solstice period. Solstice comes from two ancient words, sol, the name of a sun god, and stice, meaning still, or the day that the sun stands still, the shortest day of the year. Since all cultures have been so dependent upon the seasons, the four major festivals centered on the summer and Winter Solstice and the spring and autumn equinoxes. An equinox, equi, meaning equal, and nox, meaning nights or equal nights, occurs midway between the winter and Summer Solstice, when days and nights are equal in length. Those are the four corners of the celestial year. But with the return of the sun to once again warm the earth and bring forth a resurrection of life, the Winter Solstice became the greatest of all the festivals. The ancient festival in Rome was known as the Saturnalia. The emperor Aurelian established an official holiday called Sol Invicti, meaning unconquered sun, in honor of the sun god. It was held Dec. 24 and 25 and established Dec. 25 as the official solstice. All the other religions that worshipped sun gods also took Dec. 25 as the fixed date for their festivals. A major one was in honor of the Egyptian divine mother, Isis. Early Christians used to worship in front of statues of Isis suckling her divine child, Horus, the babe that she had conceived miraculously. [P.2] When is the Longest Day / Summer Solstice?
