Over 1,000 devotees had coconuts smashed over their heads at the annual Hindu-Tamil festival of Aadi Perukku in Mettu Mahadanapuram, Wednesday. The event, held at the Sri Mahalakshmi Temple, is a celebration of the life-sustaining properties of water, part of a two-day festival which attracts crowds of worshippers from across southern India. Medical teams were on hand to stitch up head wounds for those who had been injured in the ritual, although devotees often refrained from seeking medical help, preferring to apply turmeric or sacred ash on the open wounds, in an effort not to offend the deities. 'The pain is nothing' said one devotee.

Hahaha, the half INTERNET is searching and puzzling, *where is the cat* ? A tired tabby named Lloyd decided, that the best place to take an afternoon nap was a big pile of cut wood that was the same color as his fur and where he’d be left undisturbed, because NO one would see, that he was there ;o) Did you find the cat ? ( she has wood - color...)

Warning: You can't unseen this footage! An Australian street artist has made headlines with his portrait of Hillary Clinton. He painted a wall in Melbourne with an image of the U.S. democratic presidential candidate wearing a rather skimpy swimsuit. However, the city complained that the mural violates gender equality principles. So, to avoid legal action, the artist painted a niqab over Hillary. Finally, the artist posted a photo of the wall online, after it had been painted completely black, with the caption "Looks like the council wins". RT caught up with the artist.
