Heavy Rainfall in Nigeria
Extreme rains in southwest Nigeria from July 6 through July 12, 2017, caused flooding in the states of Delta state, isoko north, LGA,  Lagos, Niger, and Oyo. News reports indicate that at least 18 people have died as a result.
The branch office of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses in Nigeria has confirmed that none of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses have been killed or injured during this disaster, though four were displaced. Additionally, two of the WitnessesÂ’ homes sustained damage and another one was destroyed. Witnesses in Nigeria are providing relief aid to their fellow worshippers as well as their non-Witness neighbors, a number of whom also were displaced or lost homes.

The organization has been able to hold several regional assemblies in Belarus for local brothers in July and  thousands of Russian brothers who will come to receive food and comfort. More than 7,000 attendees are expected.

Jehovah’s Witnesses treat Father’s Day as any other, and will love their Fathers just as much that day as any other day.
Jehovah’s Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures on the Bible.
Yes, the Bible does command children to honor, obey and respect their parents. (Eph. 6:1, 2) But nowhere does it advocate the commemoration of a special “Father’s Day”.True Christians follow Jesus Christ as their Exemplar and realize that to Jesus, every day was Father’s Day. He did not set aside only one particular day out of the year to bring praise to his Father. He did so every day.
It is also worthy to note that the main purpose for the creation of Father’s Day was to complement Mother’s Day. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not formally celebrate Mother’s Day - mostly for the same reasons as stated for Father’s Day above. But they also do not celebrate it because Jehovah’s Witnesses avoid participating in any celebrations with non-Christian religious origins. Some may counter that by saying that Mother’s Day does not have roots in ancient paganism and that it is presently considered a largely secular event. But the earliest Mother’s Day celebrations can be traced back to the spring celebrations of ancient Greece in honor of Rhea, the mother of the gods. The Bible makes it clear that if a holiday or custom is being deliberately participated in by a Christian, it must have absolutely no known pagan religion associations. The group isolated in a small town of Malawi has seven publishers. Gather under a structure made of poles, weed, and reed mats. After finishing my 2 hour shift at Infostand, I was replaced by 2 pioneer sisters. They wanted a double layer on the stand. He said that a woman of over 90, with her walker, had come to the booth and asked about Maulbeerallee and if she knew where she was. By the way, she did not come to the stand by herself. She had walked the whole distance and was now completely exhausted. They promised to take home the lady back and called the stand, he would like to dismantle the stand.
