Hello @Queen Esther, maybe you could post it in Spanish too, so @The Librarian could check the translated text into English, thanks for sharing it :)

Or maybe you could add more details in English... honestly I don't understand the above text  :(

It would be nice to know the circumstances of the photo,  what I can read in Spanish is that policemen continued being bored and continued taking pictures and getting gifts from the brothers.

Thanks for the photo @Queen Esther, I love the facial expression of the kid :)

Its  of  sure  a  Reg. Convention,  yes.   I  only  have  the  one  sentence.  But  my  fantasy  and  what  I  see  here,  is  that,  what  I  wrote  in  English !   Some  sisters  understood  it  very  well,  just  curious :)  For  me  its  okay !

I'm glad to know that others understood it. I'm slow to understand English, it is not my mother language and I don't speak it everyday. What  confused me was that word "abolished":

a·bol·ish

  (ə-bŏl′ĭsh)

tr.v. a·bol·ished, a·bol·ish·ing, a·bol·ish·es

1. To do away with; put an end to; annul: voted to abolish the tax.

2. Archaic To destroy completely.

Thanks again :)
