    .... a little souvenir from the early 1970's I keep as a memento of interesting times ... and to surreptitiously quick flash when I show a traffic officer my drivers license. The gold flash has gotten me out of seven speeding tickets, and I never asked for any consideration, and never gave any explanation. My eldest son was stunned when I got stopped in a 35mph zone doing 57 miles per hour.. When we pulled off without a ticket he said "I gotta get me one of those!". By the way ... the little red thingies are Chicken Nipples. They sell them on Amazon. .... really!

    I use Windows 7 Professional as my preferred system, and I have two Windows 10 Desktops, one my wife uses. The other is not used at all. I have configured it to look and act like Windows XP, and never wonder what I am missing. I have four 7 port USB hubs daisy chained together supporting various hardware, and three monitors going at the same time, and can have six if I want them. I never have any viruses, and it runs about 35 software programs of every sort. Why would I need Windows 10?.

    I don't care if it was encouraged by Mickey Mouse from the future! If it is the death penalty to park your car in a handicapped parking space, and you DO park your car in a handicapped parking space ... it does not matter WHO made or influenced the laws. You have committed a capital crime. You are GUILTY of a capital crime! .... and it is lawful to execute you. The fact that the law is changed at a later date IS A WHOLE OTHER SUBJECT!

    The FACTS were that they were encouraging Christian values .... which to a nation involved in a global war for survival ... true Christian values ARE SEDITION. The rules change as a practical matter when a million men die in a year long battle, and Europe looks like the craters on the face of the Moon. The Society WAS guilty of sedition, in encouraging men to uphold Christian Values, and NOT WAR, at a time when the Republic faced destruction at the hands of the Germans. ...and that's the fact, Jack.

I challenged you MANY times to point out where JUST ONE thing I have ever said on this forum was a lie ... and of over seven years and perhaps 9,000 or so comments I have made on every imaginable subject ... you ALWAYS choked and never provided not even ONE single example. NOT ONE! I may be occasionally wrong ... but I do not lie. You are really at war with yourself, Billy. I sincerely hope you win!

    That is so ludicrous I don't even know where to start. The reason the Brothers were imprisoned for sedition, etc ... IS THAT THEY WERE GUILTY ! They were not let out of prison early because of some imaginary vindication ... they were let out because the "Great War" was over.

    As the Admin pointed out ... by the time I had entered this thread, the Admin had REMOVED THE REFERENCE. Therefore, you were reacting to what you saw ... and I was reacting to what I saw. I personally do not even take threats, real or just bluster, too seriously. I had a very wealthy Elder once call me up, and he said he was going to destroy me. I nonchalantly replied that he knew where I lived, and I would meet him in the street, in front of where I was staying, anytime, and we would shoot it out. I never saw or heard from him again. ... and I do quite often TRY to act like a three year old little girl ... they are so happy and full of life, and wonder ! Very, very inspirational! The best I can manage is a 24/7/365 sense of humor. I seriously doubt the Governing Body has anything to fear from John Butler, he has no firearms .... whereas YOU, on the other hand, have claimed to own a small arsenal, and a 50 caliber BMG sniper rifle capable of shooting about a mile and a half, accurately, and 4.5 miles total, and I would not be surprised if that foam on your mouth. is NOT shaving cream.

    You may be familiar with the fact that it takes 25 MAN YEARS of witnessing to bring ONE newly interested person into the Truth, who will stay his or her whole lifetime. 25 YEARS! for ONE person! What's wrong with THAT picture? .... there is a very real answer, and it is NOT pretty.

    Well, BTK46, I personally do not think we have much to fear from external enemies .... if we are doing things that are correct ... they have no case at all . All sane, reasonable people know this. The fact of the matter is this ... day by day, in the eyes of the World, Jehovah's Witnesses are losing what credibility we USED to have, with general nuttiness .... and the Governing Body, in it's self aggrandizing attempts at damage control, are day by day, losing THEIR credibility, except with the slowest, the dull, and the trusting. They are their OWN worst enemy. With all the real good that they do in directing the preaching of the Good News, the drivel that they add chases just as many people away, as the Truth attracts. When you have the TRUTH ... we would not have to knock on THEIR doors ... they would be knocking on OUR doors. The general impression is that we dress well, are fine people, but are bat-crap crazy.

    I may have missed something BTK46, but I do not see where in this particular thread, as shown above, where John Butler threatened ANYBODY. Please correct me with a quote, as you apparently see something that is NOT THERE. No surprise at that ..... It's either you, or me that is wrong about this, and historically, it's always been you. If I say the Governing Body is it's own worst enemy, because they keep shooting themselves in the foot and systematically destroying their credibility, day by day, that is NOT a threat. .... merely a figurative observation.

    Yes, his last name is Bond This is why I prefer to be called just "Rook", (no first or middle name), or JTR ... to keep from being identified with the Apostle James, which would be a stretch of multi-dimensional proportions .... or with Sean Connery , the only REAL James Bond ...... I mean .... besides the Ornithologist ( Bird Watcher, for those in Rio Linda ...) named James Bond, from whom Ian Fleming the author and creator of the James Bond Character took the name., who wrote several books on birds that impressed Ian Fleming, also a bird watcher ... ....     I have given my reasons before on this forum at great length .... In one sentence ... it is the ONLY "game in town" ... and I do not have unrealistic expectations about what humans are capable of doing as regards righteousness. I am a retired Engineer, and I recognize when machines are operated beyond their design capacity. This is also true of ALL people. There are NO exceptions. Reality is what it is .... not what we WISH it was.
