"With someone loyal you will act in loyalty."—2 Sam. 22:26.

The Israelites Ask for a King

Israel’s first king, Saul, proves disobedient. He is succeeded by David, with whom God makes a covenant for an everlasting kingdom

At first, Saul was impressed with David’s courage and placed the young man over his army.

But David’s successes made Saul bitterly jealous. David had to flee for his life and live as a fugitive for years. Still, David remained loyal to the king who was trying to kill him, reasoning that King Saul had been appointed by Jehovah God.

Finally, Saul died in battle. Before long, David became king, as Jehovah had promised.

    Psalms

To the director. By Jehovah’s servant David, who addressed the words of this song to Jehovah in the day that Jehovah rescued him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said:

18 "I have affection for you, O Jehovah, my strength."  "Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the One who rescues me. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, My shield and my horn of salvation, my secure refuge." "I call on Jehovah, who is worthy of praise, And I will be saved from my enemies."  "The ropes of death encircled me; Flash floods of worthless men terrified me."  "The ropes of the Grave surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me." "In my distress I called on Jehovah, To my God I kept crying for help. From his temple he heard my voice,And my cry to him for help reached his ears." (Psalms18:1-6)

somehow the greenish robe turned blue and David got younger loosing all his beard, Saul got older too overnight. =)

  2. Brothers and sisters, this is just a warm up for all of us.  Do not always believe in what you hear. (Read the article:http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2013923)

Follow the proper channel and remember the moral lesson of 1Ki 13:11-24.  If there's anything that the GB needs us to know, there will be a letter to the elders.

By doing so, we don't spread any rumours because if we do, we are actually going against the spirit.

Note:  we always see many asking if there were any letters or bethel 'morning worship' announcements, stating not to mention in social media.

  3. "Humility"
When a person is "known rich" or "looks rich" and buys a decent mode of transportation - many views that person as humble but when a person is "viewed poor" or "looks poor" and drives the same decent mode of transportation - many views that person as arrogant.
This is not about wealth, but the perspective. Might there be a difference between the definition of humility vs personal view of what "suits" an individual?
Richest-Beggar-678x381-c.jpgIn some countries, may locals view the minorities as "minorities"(incl. migrants from "poor" countries) and when these "minorities act" not as what they want to view them - many say that they "lack humility".
Many fell on the same trap back in the first century, many expected the messiah to be someone prominent, handsome like David and maybe very tall also like Saul but the scripture indicated otherwise. - for "No stately form does he have, nor any splendor; And when we see him, his appearance does not draw us to him. " (Isa 53:2) ft:" Or “there is no special appearance that we should desir
e him.” "and yet, he is a known carpenter and declaring that he is God's Son - " do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? " (John 10:36)
Now, we view Jesus to be humble because we know his position before he took a human form (Phil 2:7). But just imagine living in the time of Jesus - those Pharisees and Sadducees views him otherwise. (John 10:36)
Something to think about... (Lu 6:38; Phil 2:3)

I remember that was taking my first year learning German in school when I first read the highlighted sentence, and assumed that the writer was foreign, because the word-order in the sentence is not standard English. Now I know that the style was that of Fred Franz, who could sometimes sound like he could "speak Yoda" from the assembly platform once or twice per speech.

Yoda, in Star Wars, said things like:

    • "Do not underestimate the power of the Emperor or suffer your father's fate you will."
    • "Not if anything to say about it I have."

On the subject of Gog of Magog, however, Yoda's most appropriate quote would probably be:

    • “Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future..”

    I think it's more like:

    • “Difficult to see. Always in motion the future is..”  =)
  6. one thing is sure, nobody is 100% sure of anything behind the videos to be true or false... even for the house of Jesus, there are many sites in Jerusalem now that was created by apostate Christians and the fact that we "worship in spirit" will give no weight on those place.

As for the seal, there are many reasons and we can only wait and see as time goes by.

What we know is sundisk and ankh are pagan symbols, so to throw a sample wild card answer: it may be a seal for a gift to King Hezekiah from Egypt.  who knows, will it matter?

Who knows, someone might find that's its a fraud or whatever.  We will know more in the new system.

We know better now that they did before, that's for sure.  Hence, we can be sure of what is acceptable form of worship for Jah. - IMHO

  7. I wonder what is there to 'beware' of?

we know this already - same as our body that create new cells every time; so, the new supply of annointed brothers and sisters but that doesn't mean that the time will be shortened or lengthened or even changed - Jehovah set the time limit since Jesus enthronement like in Noah's day.   The coundown is there already - we are not just aware exactly when it will be over but it is very close! Like how we observe the leaf of a fig tree - when you see new leaf - you know that the summer is near.  Finding new and young member of the Governing Body is the same -. The Great day of Jehovah is REALLY near.

    - if the world says 'calm before the storm'. We say 'prepare for the coming storm and then there will be calm'. ?

    "Eye Salve" - http://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2014/11/eye-salve-humility-repentance.html

I feel the same if not more so, nonetheless I will seek to clear it up.   It could be a mistake or a careful decision was made for a reason.  I remember that Jah allowed imperfect men with their imperfect action for the rendering of a bible version. (Septuagint)

The music is from 'epic music' producers 'audiomachine' who do tracks for movie trailers. The track the Org used for its 'Paradise video' is called 'Eternal Flame' and it's from audiomachine's 2012 'Epica' album.

Thank you Ann,. I wonder if Paul Dinletir is a JW
