Checking out the books in the Kingdom Hall library and looking at the “Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained” book. Who remembers studying that book with the family many years ago?

THE REALITY OF AN EARTH-WIDE PARADISE
Jehovah God, who created the original Paradise, has promised to restore what was lost. How? Recall that Jesus taught us to pray: “Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.” (Matthew 6:10) That Kingdom is a world government in the hands of Jesus Christ that will replace all human rule. (Daniel 2:44)
Under the rule of that Kingdom, God’s will regarding a paradise earth will “take place.” Earlier, the prophet Isaiah was inspired to describe conditions in the promised Paradise, where all the tension and conflict plaguing mankind today will be gone. (Isaiah 11:6-9; 35:5-7; 65:21-23)
We urge you to take a few minutes and read those scriptures in your own Bible. Doing so will reassure you of what God has in store for obedient mankind. Those then living will enjoy a paradise as well as God’s favor, both of which Adam lost.—Revelation 21:3.
Why can we be sure that the hope of Paradise on earth is not fantasy but reality? Because the Bible tells us: “As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.” The hope of Paradise on earth is one that “God, who cannot lie, promised long ago.” (Psalm 115:16; Titus 1:2)
What a wonderful prospect the Bible offers—Paradise forever!

Thank you for posting this. I've been thinking about the brothers & sisters in Russia & worrying how they managed to observe this year's memorial. 
Hope all our prayers to Jehovah on behalf of all those undergoing intense persecution around the world, helped.
I don't think I'm alone wondering wether this year's Memorial will turn out to have been the last...but whatever we love our worldwide brotherhood & just encourage one another to endure to the end & not give up! 

Yes!!! The Russian brothers and sisters enjoyed the Memorial of Christ Death. It was done in private homes. The brothers and sisters  sang kingdom songs very low  to avoid detection.

THE 'MONKEY ORCHID' LOOKS LIKE A MONKEY! - I Love Orchids!! - Had to post! ~
This is the rare Monkey Orchid, found only in high elevations of Ecuador and Peru. The primate-esque flowers are formally known as 
Analysis: The photo is real — this orchid does exist, and the colorful center of the flower does resemble the face of a monkey or baboon — but the captions above are only semi-correct. The actual species name is Dracula gigas (Dracula meaning "dragon," gigas meaning "giant"), not Dracula simia. The latter is also a real species, and its flower resembles a monkey face as well (as do several other members of the Dracula genus), but it's not the same orchid pictured above.
Nor, despite its appearance, is the common name of the pictured flower "Monkey Orchid." That distinction belongs to yet another species, Orchis simia, whose purple flowers resemble a monkey's torso (there is also a "Monkeyface Orchid," Platanthera integrilabia). There are over 20,000 species of orchids, many of which are visually reminiscent of other creatures and sundry inanimate objects, both natural and man-made. "Orchids have diverse and unflowerlike looks," observed Susan Orlean in her 1988 book, The Orchid Thief (New York: Ballantine). "One species looks just like a German shepherd dog with its tongue sticking out. One species looks like an onion. One looks like an octopus. One looks like a human nose. One looks like the kind of fancy shoes that a king might wear. One looks like Mickey Mouse. One looks like a monkey. One looks dead." They aren't the only mimics in the plant kingdom (cf. the Parrot Flower of Southeast Asia and the South African Bird of Paradise), but in terms of sheer inventiveness and diversity the orchid family is in a league of its own.
Native to Peru and Ecuador and available for purchase on the Internet. Here's a site that sells monkey orchids of various types.
WARNING: Do not confuse D. simia and related species with Orchis simia, also commonly known as a "monkey orchid." Where D. simia looks like a monkey and smells like a ripe orange, O. simia doesn't look at all like a monkey and smells bad.

We finished the memorial. I invited my grandmother, she is not a witnesses, to this ceremony. She accepted my request and came to our kingdom hall even if she has a bad condition. Thank Jehovah for giving us a great opportunity!
My mother, she is a pioneer, my grandmother and me. ItÂ’s a 3 generations from Japan! #jw #jwjapan
