Wow Julie!  This is excellent. The four horses are riding. All brothers and sisters! Listen the that Awake, Pack that GO bag!  I have a friend in a Florida congregation and they advise that have a bag that you can grab is five minutes!  I am also buying flood insurance. Only 20% of America has it as it is NOT offered unless you are on a flood plane.  I realize if it may not be cashable at the end, but look at Houston?  Not many houses have it in the USA. Email your insurance agent. It is really inexpensive to get if you are not on a flood plane.  I love this thread. Thank you my dear brothers and sisters.  

Interesting points all!  I think it could be a cry of anguish as well as the false proclamation at the end. Many things in the bible have a smaller and a larger fulfillment.  They are crying for it.  It is heartbreaking really to look at. I opened the link to the dead hindu villagers.

It is ONE of the cites in Syria (and there are many) that have been taken over by ISIS and bombed perpetually by the UN forces as well as the Democratic Syrian government forces. All I could think was, 'not a stone left upon another stone.'

Thank you for posting the many sites to different news sources.  I felt you have answered what was necessary.  
I decided not to answer further to the questions to PROVE this happened.  One of the  issues the posting person stated, is that the www.jw.org site has 1) participated in the hoax   2) is not reliable for information. There is nothing we will be able to say to make that person think differently.  
I have no idea how many  'errors' this person found in all the news stories they are investigating. But honestly, it has little to do with us as witnesses.  We are not responsible for all of the reporting sources in the world. We are not responsible for people altering or manufacturing photos and videos.  Wrong things are on the internet and TV all of the time.  This person is trying to stir up contention using a young girls death as their vehicle.  They are using the WORLD's problem of errors in news and pointing it back at the witnesses.  Demeaning a girls life, to non-existence. 
It is possible, the government in Finland may have asked to have certain content taken down.  In suspected terrorist attacks, they need to keep a lid on the details so as not to impede the investigation of finding anyone else associated with the attacks. Also, they need to discover if it is part of a larger issue that is being planned. Often it is to locate a cell.   If you read terrorist attack stories, missing names of victims and those arrested are common.  This does not imply a hoax.  Sometimes it seems like there is a lot of information. Other times not.  Please do not tell me this is not fact as well, it is.  That is not the family's problem or the organization.  We do not control the news outlets of the world! 
 How many times have you heard news and they kept changing the body bag count?  The Columbine High School shootings were a perfect example of that.  The body count at the scene was broadcast as MANY different numbers!   How hard is it to count body bags?  But it happened.  They were all racing to report the news and jumped the gun. 
As Jehovah's Witnesses, we do know that our site does NOT publish lies or participate in HOAX news.  As this person clearly feels the JW.org site has some sort of reason to post a lie, there will be NOTHING we can do to help this person understand that a young girl is dead.
This person claims to be an investigator of news stories. But they also believe we publish false stories. This person has an issues with witnesses and the organization. They are not at all concerned about this young girls death. This sad story of a human being dying is just a place for the author to USE. A place to STEP in and disparage the organization and witnesses. 
Instead of bashing the death of this girl where you can clearly see, other members of her faith are grieving and sharing, would it not make more sense for you to contact the news media in Finland as well as the police, law enforcement, etc.?  Take a trip there and investigate it personally.
I  do not think we really care about all the news sources on earth.  But we do care about the loss of our sister.

This thread was intended to let people know one of our sisters was killed during the activity of doing the preaching work.   It also served as a place to send condolences to our dear sister.
This thread is NOT about deciding if her dead body existed or not!  Honestly, its cruel.  This is a thread where people actually care about this human being.
 I hope the family is NOT watching this thread.  People posting that the whole thing is a "HOAX'.  That would be very hurtful to a grieving family.  Her blood is shed in the street;  and people came to the thread  to console one another & share information.  Not to say ' it never happened',  prove she is dead!  Honestly, its horrible.  But then there are people who do not believe in 'the moon landing' or the 'concentration camps in WW2.'  
As we do not want to be part of senseless arguments, I see no point in furthering answering someone who seems to want to disparage the organization, its members and most sadly, the death of our sister. 

PLEASE remember this is a flesh and blood human being. This is a family who lost their precious daughter, or sister, or friend.  This is NOT in a object in which no human feelings are attached. 
Jehovah's people do not lie.  It is agains God's laws.  A person has accused our brothers of lying.  For what gain would that serve?   But diluting her life and death to, 'it never existed,' is cruel. 
No matter what anyone provides, this person is going to just use it as fodder.  I do not think the death of a young girl is a place that should be used for someones issues about witnesses or the organization.  Surely, you can find a different outlet for your opinions. 
Her life matters.  Her family matters. Saying hear death did NOT exist?   I will not participate further in it.

Will it affect us?  I have been mediating on this:  
"Pay attention to yourselves that you do not get weighed down with overeating and heavy drinking and the anxieties of life, and suddenly, that day is instantly upon you as a snare. For it will come to all those on the face of the whole earth."  Luke 21: 34-35
I like how 'anxieties of life' is liked to heavy drinking or eating.  If someone is drunk all of the time, they are basically unreasonable and completely absorbed. We see that all of the time in the drug culture. NOTHING is important to them other than the next hit!   The people who are so wound up in, my house, my job, my family, all I have to do.......I liken them to a drug addict.  They are so involved in daily anxieties, they give NO consideration to God, to Jesus, to anything other than their own world. But the last sentence is indeed the place to think!  
Every person on the face of the earth.  We will not be watching this on TV.  We will be actively impacted.  Death does not conquer us.  Even if we lose are lives during the events up to the end, ' not a hair on on head will perish.' 
Keep going brothers and sisters!  We need to get the word out that this world is coming to its inevitable concluding.  And Jehovah's Kingdom will reign forever!

These things for some test our faith. We can pray for the person who committed this crime as well as against Jehovah by defacing His place of worship. We are not exempt from problems arising from even with in the congregation.  Her motives of her heart were 'revealed' in this action. She does not sound like she is mentally sound. Unfortunately, this too happens in the world and within. 
But we know the truth. Yes at times, our brothers and sisters or people associating with the witnesses will allow themselves to be handed over to 'mental darkness.'  However, I will respond that we pray for this woman.  What she thought was certainly brought forward!  
Nothing remains concealed forever in Jehovah's organization. I hope she gets the help she needs.  This kind of act may have some medical underlying issues.

Kurt, thank you again!  I love my photo of this! I printed it out to show my friends at the hall.  I also shared it with my husband who is not of my faith.  This is a strong statement that the community and government are not on the side of hurting those practicing our faith. I know we would all prefer it never happened. But it did. I told my husband, if permitted the witnesses will be back right at that spot to preach.  And here they are. Jehovah, will bless the preaching efforts in Finland. This story has saddened yet encouraged us here to keep preaching "the Good News of God's Kingdom!"   We will meet Krista someday, and we will be able to tell her the aftermath of this terrible event.  This little building will truly bring more to the knowledge of Jehovah. Our thanks to the government of Turku, Finland for this memorial and kindness to our brothers and sisters!  We in the USA have taking notice of all of you.  Kristy Quail 

My wife worries about us working in the North Carolina back country where you are more likely than in the city to be met with hostility over race and religion. Sad that even in what one would consider a safe area for witnessing you can never be truly safe because of the world in which we live.

Everyone in the world is lost, except those who value righteousness exactly as Jesus taught us...this means that there are many who are wild and inconsolable in their outrage and ready to hit out at others to appease their inner turmoil. Jesus' teaching offers such people a solid path to refresh their inner injuries whilst also offering those injured by Satan's unprovoked attacks, with resurrection...into a new heavens and a new Earth...and Jesus proved this to us by his own resurrection...The Fiery Lake of Sulphur can't be too far off...now.

Our dear sister, only 23 years of age. Thank you all for the outpouring of love from Jehovah's People as well as many others in the world who too, expressed sincere condolences. I found the photo of the girl playing what looks like some sort of lap stringed instrument and the young man holding the umbrella over her to be very touching.  The legions of demons roaming the earth with nothing on their agenda but violence and their soon to be here end are the cause of all of the earth's pain, injustice and death. We as Jehovah's People will continue to preach and wait on the Kingdom of God led by Jesus Christ.  This dear sister did not die in vain. She died taking a stand for the true God, Jehovah.  My special heartfelt prayers to be with her family and congregation at this time.  The world is truly cruel at this time of the end.

So upsetting As soon as I saw the cart clearly visible in this photograph of the aftermath of this awful attack we wondered if any of the brothers & sisters had been targets. Hardly any coverage in UK by media or reference to a terrorist attack but the attacker was supposed to have shouted "Allah Akbar" whilst he wielded his knife.

On Attack in Turku (Finland)
Very sad to have that a sister was killed in the attack that occurred on Friday, 18 August 2017, in Turku, Finland. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, as well as with the families and friends of the rest of the victims of this senseless act of violence. It comforts us to know that Jehovah has promised to rescue us from violence and resurrect all his friends (Psalm 72:14). May Jehovah give you peace to know he will deliver all from this bondage of sin and death!
