Mic Drop got a reaction from The Librarian in Which Religion will be the first to embrace Bitcoin?
@The Librarian - It's not just money as you say... it is also a "store of value" and even a "payment network". Some even refer to it a a new form of digital "energy" that can be captured and frozen.
You should also notice that Bitcoin holders don't rely on "interest" to make money as the modern fiat banking system is designed to run. Isn't interest against God's law? So it would be better for y'all. (or at least more ethical / moral. Right?

Interesting @Mic Drop....You did get me to thinking....
Bitcoin is the first international currency that isn't biased to any one government, head of state or nationality so "truly impartial"..... but we have always had gold which does the same thing.
Interesting thought occurred to me that it would be a currency without a "false set of scales" since it is based on purely mathematical computations as you have shown previously.
I can't really see where the Bible or Jehovah God would have anything against using such a system... after all he made the very math it uses. Isn't the Fibonacci used sometimes even referred to as "God's fingerprint"?
In the end .... it is just money.... so just beware of loving it.
I guess it remains to be seen if we will have the "Internet" during the Great Tribulation or even into Paradise. It might be part of the "olive oil and the wine" of luxuries that will not disappear during the GT.
    Thanks for the thought experiment.

There is talks about the Amazon Fresh store that opened up in London. Should it become successful, it could pose a problem for others stores, and later on will try to compete and will unfortunate adopt the same format.
The more they get you into the system, the more they have control over everything you own.
Even just days before, The rapper Rick Ross mentioned something interesting about Tesla and EV cars, which could be a possibility in the future should the government seek such an option, and surely, they would consider such an idea when they win people over with the pros rather than cons.

Mic Drop reacted to burtonalex in TikTok has reportedly turned down Microsoft/Walmart's acquisition offer and is planning to sell its US operations to Oracle.
This reminds us that the business landscape is changing fast and that companies are always looking for new opportunities to grow and expand. While TikTok is a relatively new platform, it has quickly become one of the most popular and influential social media platforms in the world.
TikTok's audience is growing, and that means there are more opportunities for creators, especially if they buy real TikTok views to reach a larger audience and boost their account's influence.
I think that sooner or later TikTok will become the most important social media platform.

    Look at it this way:
You don’t think Solomon came up with every Proverb himself do you?

Rather he “collected” them and put it into “his” book.

Mic Drop reacted to James Thomas Rook Jr. in How long would it take us to build an Egyptian pyramid with today's advancements?
The simplest solution if you wanted to use a ramp ... would be a spiral ramp around the outside of the pyramid, and start building it from the center of the square bottom .... not from the bottom up...but from the inside out.
The "trick" they had was telekinesis, which does not exist among humans today.
Remember ... the Egyptian High Priest ALSO changed his staff into a serpent, during Moses' audience with Pharaoh.

Mic Drop reacted to admin in Bitcoin buyer beware
They say that no press is bad press, but that may not be true for Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency has been getting a lot of negative publicity lately, with both the Wolf of Wall Street and the CEO of JPMorgan (ahem, they’re two different people) calling the digital dollars a “fraud.” The investors’ concerns stem from the fact that the increasingly popular monetary system currently has no government backing and is based on “artificial scarcity.” Despite this lack of government support, federal regulators are certainly taking notice of Bitcoin. Last month, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission charged a hedge fund company with fraud, misappropriation, and issuing false account statements in its operation of what they called a “Bitcoin Ponzi scheme” that bilked $60,000 out of investors. Meanwhile, the Securities and Exchange Commission recently charged both a real estate and diamond sales company with defrauding investors after prompting them to sink money into an “initial coin offering” (ICO), the first of its kind. A New York Times columnist described ICOs: “Imagine that a friend is building a casino and asks you to invest. In exchange, you get chips that can be used at the casino’s tables once it’s finished. Now imagine that the value of the chips isn’t fixed, and will instead fluctuate depending on the popularity of the casino, the number of other gamblers and the regulatory environment for casinos. Oh, and instead of a friend, imagine it’s a stranger on the internet who might be using a fake name, who might not actually know how to build a casino, and whom you probably can’t sue for fraud if he steals your money and uses it to buy a Porsche instead.” Buyer beware!

Not sure which is better... batteries or oil?  Both seem to exploit the lands of the people where the natural resources lie.
It always seems to be the children that suffer the worst where these resources are found.
