Dear housedoctor many questions indeed, but you are wrong about the "There is no specific time given before a person might be reinstated". The watchtower is clear : "one year" (Watchtower 1963 Aug 1 p.473).|

I suggest you to read both the old and new testament where you will find that the "judicial committees" were held in the gates of the city and later in front of all the congregation."Since the local court was situated at the city gates, there was no question about the trial being public! (Deut. 16:18-20) No doubt the public trials helped influence the judges toward carefulness and justice, qualities that sometimes vanish in secret star-chamber hearings." Dear b4ucuhear thank you for admitting that you was an elder and in many cases you wrongly removed/disfellowshipped brothers. in a case like this and because the flock belongs to Christ I think all elders responsible for the lose of even one of the little ones know exactly what to do. (If anyone causes one of these little ones--those who believe in me--to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea) - Matthew 18:6, Luke 17:2, Mark 9:42.

It does not give a rule for that. Our last Brother has to wait 3 years and 8 months.....  another Brother 18 months....  The last word has the Bethel, after talking with the Elders ! So I know from Germany.

Unglaublich oder wer hat hier geholfen ?
Nachdem ich meine 2 Stundenschicht am Infostand beendet hatte, wurde ich von 2 Pionierschwestern abgelöst. Sie wollten eine Doppelschicht am Stand dienen. Etwa 1 1/2 Stunden vor dem Ende, rief mich der Bruder, der sich um den Auf - und Abbau kümmert, an und teilte mir mit, dass er den Stand abgebaut hätte. Ich fragte ihn, was passiert sei. Er erzählte, dass eine über 90 jährige Frau mit ihrem Rollator an den Stand gekommen sei und nach der Maulbeerallee gefragt hätte und ob sie wüssten, wo die sei. Sie ist übrigens nicht von selbst an den Stand gekommen. Ein Mann hatte die geschwächte Frau an unseren Stand gebracht, mit der Bitte, ihr etwas zu trinken zu geben. Dann war er plötzlich verschwunden.
Nun gibt es bei uns in der Nähe keine Maulbeerallee. Da sie sehr zittrig und schwach aussah, boten unsere Schwestern ihr einen Platz an und gaben ihr etwas zu trinken. Sie erzählte, dass sie seit ca. 8:00 Uhr unterwegs sei ( inzwischen war es 14:30) und sie jetzt nicht mehr wüsste, wo die Maulbeerallee sei.
Mit Hilfe von Handy und Internet fanden die Schwestern heraus, dass sie in einem Heim in der etwa 10 km entfernten Maulbeeralle bereits vermisst wurde. Sie war die ganze Strecke zu Fuß gegangen und war nun völlig entkräftet. Sie versprachen der Heimleitung, die Dame zurück zu bringen und riefen den Standbruder an, er möchte bitte den Stand abbauen.
Die Schwestern haben mir erzählt, wie es weiter gegangen ist. Im Seniorenwohnheim angekommen, wurden sie von der Frau zu Tee und Kuchen eingeladen. Die Cousine der Frau, die gleich nebenan wohnt, tauchte dann auf und blieb. Über eine Stunde waren die 4 Frauen zusammen und während der ganzen Zeit konnte ein sehr schönes Zeugnis gegeben werden. Als unsere Pionierschwester den beiden Frauen Offb. 21:3,4 zum Schluss vorlas , hatten beide Tränen in den Augen. Unsere beiden Schwestern dürfen gerne wiederkommen.
Die alte Dame wusste bis zum Schluss nicht, wie sie nach Haselhorst gekommen ist.  Die Schwestern meinen, dass die Engel bestimmt ihre Hände im "Spiel" hatten, damit sie letztendlich an unseren Stand gebracht und ihr geholfen wurde.

Thank you so much Blanchie ;o)  I love Sisters like you...  and I have 2,3 in my cong. too.  We're all different, yes, but I more like the kind of heartiness. I wish you a quickly recover !  I just finished a bronchitis and before heavy sciartica pains, haha... not so funny, but I could endure it. Yes, we need soon the NW...  thats really true ! I posted a pic in the Gallery here, there we can read, for Jehovah is Armageddon already in few min. over - bec. 1000 years for him in 1 day over ! WHAT a different thinking and live to see... The same big hug all the way back to you from Germany, dear Blanchie ;o) ??☀️

Just home from our Meeting and it was so nice again, the Talk and the WT study too ! I mostly make alot notes by hearing the Talk, a good help for different things... Myrtle Beach | A South Carolinian family made headlines today after giving birth to twins and naming them  Donald and Trump.
The birth of the twins occurred this morning at Grand Strand Medical Center, only hours before South Carolina’s Republican voters will show up to the polls across the state to cast ballots in the GOP’s third presidential nominating contest.
“We weren’t planning on naming them after Donald Trump at first, but it is clearly a divine sign that our next president shows up in our state on the day my little sunshines are born” explained Latifa Huxley, proud mother of the two. “Donald Trump is a bright, wealthy, successful man with strong moral values that represents what America is all about. This man is a symbol of the greatness of what America once was and shall be again” she told local reporters, visibly emotional.

Both parents strongly believe the timing of the South Carolina GOP primary with the birth of their twins is no coincidence.
“It is truly a blessing and a God-given sign” says Damian Huxley, father of the twins. “After all the division Obama has brought upon this country, it is a great privilege to have my children born on this auspicious day,” he explains with pride. “I don’t care if my president is black or white, all I know is that Trump is a man of his word and we believe him when he says that he will make America great again,” he adds.
The time for change
Although Donald Trump was not available for comments, Donald Trump’s campaign supervisor, Adam Goldberg, was enthused by the news.
“I think Americans are ready for real change. Eight years of Obama in the White House  has left the American dream in shambles and Americans want a president that will unite the country and make things better as they used to be. These twin babies will one day be very proud to be named after a great man and a great leader that will spare no expense to make America great again,” he told reporters when joined by phone.
Recent polls show Donald Trump maintaining a wide lead in the South Carolina primary  with Ted Cruz and  Marco Rubio in a fight for second place.

The Obstacles in Our Path...
In ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand.
Moral of the story: Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one’s condition.

Great poem, may I make copy? I would like to pass it around in my congregation. I think it would shake the cobwebs off their tussles and let them know, if they believe the hype of the brotherhood of over 8+ million of us then this friendship, the self sacrificing love we should have for ALL , everyone of us should be there in action and deed, not just a part on the meeting or during the meeting then gone like the mist or fog of the morning. what a sad loss i personally have enjoyed your comments(most) and your often humorous take on things although not agreeing with everything, never the less you make us think and our faith is tested .wishing you Jehovah's rich blessing in future 

I just found this, and I feel like I'm losing a friend. A friend I never met, that is, and a friend with whom I probably disagree with on more subjects than I can remember right now  Forums aren't the same as "real-life" congregations, and friends on forums aren't the same as friends in "real life" either. Still, it's a bit like when one of your favorite elders steps down or moves away.
There is something liberating about being free to speak about whatever we find interesting. The freedom of speech that you, JTR, have enjoyed here was a true achievement. I'm sure it turned away a lot of friends here (I know the feeling) but it also made some points that will forever be remembered for good.
Thanks for what you've done. I hope I'm still here when and if you decide to find your way back for some additional rounds. I doubt you've run out of ammunition.
 

If this person is currently disfellowshipped, then you would treat them the same as any other disfellowshipped person. Also, I know those persons are not perfect, but I don't see how Jehovah would view them as one of the anointed if they are practicing sin worthy of being disfellowshipped. Maybe they were mistaken about being anointed in the first place, or maybe they were and have fallen, and maybe Jehovah would use them in the future, That would be up to Jehovah, and depends on whether  they become repentant or not.
