  1. I don't know who "them" is, but every anointed priest is inspired by Holy Spirit at their anointing, which I have already mentioned. (Rom 5:5; 1 John 4:6; 1 John 2:27; John 15:4-8,16; Rom 2:29; Heb 8:10; Mal 2:7; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10) But if they refuse to act upon it through obedience to Jesus Christ, and his word...and instead listen to men and their lies, they eventually lose God's Spirit. (Matt 5:13; Luke 11:31; Matt 25:14-30) Since an anointed priest under Christ is inspired by Holy Spirit, so too would be any prophet sent by God. "There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift." Eph 4:4-7
  2. There is no scripture that says prophesy has ceased. This scripture you quoted, said by a prophet of God and member of the Body of Christ, is not saying anything about it. In fact, I gave scriptures that proves there would be a prophet to come to God's chosen priests, in the last days. (Matt 17:11; Rev 11:1-3)(1 Pet 2:5,9,10; 1 Cor 3:16,17) Only men are saying there are no "inspired" prophets, which shows they are bold enough to check the hand of God. Every anointed priest is inspired, and among them are prophets. (Rom 5:5; 2 Cor 1:21; 1 John 2:27) "Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are different activities, but the same God works all of them in each person. 7 A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good: 8 to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of tongues, to another, interpretation of tongues. 11 One and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each person as he wills." "Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, leading, various kinds of tongues." 1 Cor 12 Sadly, you feel people could be inspired by demonic spirits, but not by the Holy Spirit from God. To say that prophecy is a gift eliminated from the Body of Christ, means that you believe a vital member of Jesus is not needed. "But as it is, God has arranged each one of the parts in the body just as He wanted." Not by what men want. "19 And if they were all the same part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 1 Cor 12 Prophets from God are spiritual "seers". Do you really believe that God would eliminate an "eye" of the Body of Christ? "And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness." Eph 4 There is not a category mentioned in God's word, where a prophet of God would not be inspired by Holy Spirit, since an anointing is the inspiration of Holy Spirit, coming upon an individual to begin with. The definition by God is straightforward and simple, which also helps us identify the false prophets. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. 19 I will hold accountable whoever does not listen to my words that he speaks in my name. 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a message in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods—that prophet must die.’ 21 You may say to yourself, ‘How can we recognize a message the Lord has not spoken?’ 22 When a prophet speaks in the Lord’s name, and the message does not come true or is not fulfilled, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him. Deut 18:18-22 "Indeed, the Lord God does nothingwithout revealing His counselto his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7
  3. About prophesy, none of us should say with "absolute certainty", that prophesy has ceased. If we do, we have exalted ourselves above the power and ability of the Father. We are suggesting that we know His plan. “Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.” 1 Cor 13:8-10 Has “the perfect” arrived yet? Have people stopped speaking other “tongues”/languages? Has knowledge ceased? “But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Dan 12:4 If the languages still exist, as well as an increase in spiritual knowledge, then why would prophesy, which imparts the knowledge of God, cease? John the Baptist came ‘in the manner’ of Elijah, prophesying the need for God’s people to repent, to prepare a people for the coming of the Son of Man. In the last days, another “Elijah” comes to God’s holy people. This one also “prophesies” the need for them to repent. Matt 17:10,11 - And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” 11 Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things. “ Messengers from God receive visions and dreams, to understand the message that they are to impart. God’s words are put in their mouth. Num 12:6 - Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.” Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6 And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Mal 4 “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts. Mal 3:1-3 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” Rev 11:1-3 “prophesy” - to prophesy, to be a prophet, speak forth by divine inspirations, to predict In this case of the “Gentiles” standing in the Temple of God, this is not the Roman army that invaded the literal city and temple in Jerusalem. This is describing the "man of lawlessness" in the last days, another “Gentile” entity that now “sits” in the Temple dwelling of God – elders who “represent the royal priesthood”. The message to JWs, to God’s holy priesthood, is to flee if any perceive this abomination. Matt 24:15,16 Never in God’s word, does it condone the replacement of God’s priests. So the Lord said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your father's house with you shall bear iniquity connected with the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear iniquity connected with your priesthood. And you and your sons with you shall guard your priesthood for all that concerns the altar and that is within the veil; and you shall serve. I give your priesthood as a gift,[a] and any outsider who comes near shall be put to death.” Num 18:1,7 So, God anoints particular people to be His priests, members of the Body of Christ, and “living stones” of the Temple. Yet, the elders have boldly replaced them, which transgresses all that the scriptures tell us, about God’s appointed priesthood. This is why a prophet brings God’s message to His people, in the last days. Ezek 44:6-9; 1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Matt 24:15,16; Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:3,4 Jesus words do not die. We are judged by his words. (John 12:48) If there were not to be any more prophets, why would he have said, "Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward." Matt 10:41 And why would the apostle Paul mentioned prophets as part of the foundation of the Temple/dwelling of God? Eph 2:20-22 https://pearl-winepress.blogspot.com/
  4. Their use of the “king of the north” suits their purpose to fulfill their interpretation of scripture. GB member Kenneth Cook – It shouldn’t surprise us that this powerful government has been persecuting our peaceful law-abiding brothers and sisters. Why not? Because that government is fulfilling Bible prophesy. Please find Dan. 11. In verse 40 it refers to what the Bible calls the king of the north. Of that king, Dan 11:41 says, “He will also enter the land of the Decoration and many lands will be made to stumble.” He continues, “Today, Russia and its allies are fulfilling the role of the king of the north. As discussed in the May 2020 Watchtower, Russia and its allies are not the first political power to act as the king of the north, but they may well be the last." His helper, Hermanus Van Selm explains that the names, king of the north and king of the south, are determined by the literal location from early Jerusalem. But, “Over time these thrones have been occupied by various political powers” In their video they explains how they labeled nations as king of the north over the years. Whatever suits their purpose at the time to attempt Bible fulfillment, they have labeled as the “king of the north”. https://www.jw.org/en/library/videos/#en/mediaitems/StudioMonthlyPrograms/pub-jwb-080_1_VIDEO Going back to Dan 11:41, he says Daniel foretold that this king would enter the land of the decoration, meaning that he would interfere in a significant way with the activities of God’s people – of JWs. The “land of the decoration” is also referred to in other Bible translations as the “land of Beauty”, “glorious”, “promised”, “pleasant land”; all referring to Israel. Why didn’t he specify that this refers to a people, not to “activities”? He really couldn’t point this out, as it would contradict with their teaching that the anointed “Israel” are the locust scorpions of Revelation 9, bringing their stinging message to the world. Locusts devour land. So the contradiction exists in their two doctrines. Since he says the king of the north halts the “activities” of JWs, should it be said that Russia is the locust army of Revelation 9? We've got one entity apparently interfering with JW activity, as well as devouring a literal land - the Ukraine. Then, we have the anointed appearing as locusts, also "devouring" the world with their scorpion-like stinging message. The anointed must not be very successful at "stinging" since their activities have been halted in one part of the world. Do they know what they are talking about? I believe they purposefully confuse JWs to hide both identities as fulfilled within their own organization. There is an activity and a people that have been “devoured” – the royal priesthood found inside the organization, who must bow down to its leadership and their army, “man of lawlessness”, that “sits” in the Temple of God – over the “living stones” – God’s “special possession”. (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22) The elders have "entered" God's "land" and dwelling of His Spirit. (1 Cor 3:9; Ezek 44:6-9) "Rather than challenge their authority, we truly appreciate our hardworking elders! " wt 02/8/1 p. 13,14 Every JWs, especially the anointed priests, needs to pay attention to Jesus' words: “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." Matt 24:15,16 Locusts desolate - devour - land. The king of the north, the locust scorpions, are the elders who will not tolerate any challenge to their rule. (Rev 13:1,2,5-7,15) “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, (John 15:16) Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” (John 15:5) Says the Lord of hosts; 12 “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts." Mal 3:11,12
  5. Prove to me that I actually said that. I’m not part of an institution, an earthly organization, or a corporation. You are too use to the ways of the Watchtower. I follow the scriptures, not “bylaws” created by men. A once JW, I don’t know who, wrote this years ago about your institution and its policies: The Watchtower Society is clearly an organizational IDOL. Anyone who has been a JW for even a short length of time should have no problem discerning this as we are continually commanded to: 1. Reject ALL information pertaining to the bible and its interpretation if it does not come from the "spirit-anointed organization" exclusively 2. Reject ALL persons that do not fully agree with and adhere to all the "spirit-anointed organization's" doctrines, policies and procedures. 3. Reject/dismiss ALL our inner doubts/concerns and even our God-given conscience when these bring into question any of the teachings of the "spirit-anointed organization". Further, just as in the case of King Nebuchadnezzar and the three Hebrews, bowing down to this imposing, shiny image-- the "spirit-anointed organization"--is required by all who do not wish to be thrown into the Governing Body's fiery furnace by their attendants --the elders and others in the congregation! Those that refuse to bow down to, or worship (i.e., loyally obey) this image/idol/god are either marked, shunned or disfellowshipped and also told that they are rejecting Jah; spearing His slave; mentally diseased; awaiting death at Armageddon, etc. (I was marked and shunned [an old WT teaching that's still practiced by some] though never disfellowshipped.) Any who may be shaking their heads in disbelief can prove this to themselves by simply commenting at their meeting that the "faithful and discreet slave" as mentioned in Matthew and Luke has not been appointed by Jesus yet (this is an accurate statement scripturally [Luke 12:39-46], but not organizationally). It may take more than one attempt before the elders and others decide to act, but they will without fail nonetheless. (Try it –I dare you! Lol) Anyone with even a negligible amount of bible knowledge should be able to see that these man-made commandments and policies in themselves directly violate Jah's command to "have no other gods/images against my face...nor be induced to serve them" (Exodus 20:3-5). Contrary to the frequent admonition by the Gov. Body to resist "independent thinking", God's word also tells us to use the thinking ability He gave us to distinguish false prophets from true (Matthew 7:15; 24:23-25; 1 John 4:1) by appraising or scrutinizing them and their teachings (1 Corinthians 4:1; Acts 17:11; Romans 3:4); to not put our trust in earthling man (Psalm 146:3,4); and to obey Him (Jah) as ruler rather than men in ALL things and at ALL times, regardless of how insignificant it may seem (Acts 5:29; Luke 16:10). Most JW's can recite many of these verses in their sleep; yet they unwittingly disobey them by blindly and hypocritically clinging to the unscriptural teachings of their own religious leaders (the men of the Governing Body)while at the same time zealously exhorting others to do just the opposite (Romans 2:21-24; 12:9; Matt 15:8). This interesting dichotomy is clearly due to highly-effective cognitive programming by the GB, not God's word which tells us that Jah is NOT partial (Acts 10:34a). I will never forget one particular meeting where a well-respected elder of many years made the comment to all in the congregation that "whatever comes out of the mouth of the Governing Body should be considered as coming out of the mouth of Jehovah." That in a nut-shell truly sums it up, leaving no doubt as to the real identity of the so-called "spirit-anointed organization". These men are not inspired by God and even admit to this yet put themselves on equal footing with Him (2 Thessalonians 2:4), even going so far as to enforce exclusive devotion to their so called “spirit-anointed organization”. Why JW’s even possess bibles is beyond me; they are of no real use to them anymore than they are to the Mormons. As one individual stated recently, JW’s should change their official name to “Watchtowerites” as this would accurately describe who they really worship/serve.
  6. Do you think they have not received letters from many anointed, including those whom I associate with? Most definitely. Have they received an invitation to meet? Yes Did these anointed receive a response? No. Do you believe that GB would even allow them into their secure compound to talk with them in person? No. They know who we are and they know what is written about them. Have you read the parable of the wise and foolish virgins? Matt 25 The foolish virgins "buy" their oil for their lamps from those who sell it. The wise virgins join Christ. Who "sells" regulated spiritual food in exchange for devotion to them, and to their organization? Rev 13:11,12,15-17 Rev 18:4-8 I do meet with anointed ones and those not anointed. The eight have their ways that you could not imagine, of attempting to stop whatever is written about them.
  7. That is how the scripture is to be applied, but according to your leaders, any outside of the organization, are condemned to a fiery Armageddon. Even SM would not on be on board with that.
  8. I am sure if this is a huge issue with Admin, either the post will be taken down, I will be banned, or at least receive a message from him. Not saying it may not happen, but I'm still waiting. You are saying that the site puts God in a bad way? How so? Don't you think that an organization and its "site", that boasts pure worship yet tells a generation of people that they will not die...don't you think that puts a bad reflection on God and the definition of pure worship, as not so pure?
  9. Your leaders judge all people outside of the anointed Body of Christ as condemned to a fiery Armageddon. Is that what the scriptures tell them to do? 1 Cor 5:12,13
  10. Oh my goodness, I left in disgust, why would I ever be jealous of being enslaved to a corrupt organization?
  11. Right. You are the only one to pry whether I am anointed or not. From there it has become fuel to foster lies about my intentions. I don't recall demanding that I be acknowledged as anointed. Do you?🙂
  12. This is what I said, "Jesus is King of kings (Rev 19:16), but he is not king over the national leaders of the world. They are not under covenant with him. (Jer 31:31; Luke 22:20) His kings were chosen when anointed, but that doesn’t mean they all remain faithful to his truths. (Deut 29:18; Heb 12:15; 2 Pet 3:17; Rev 8:11; 17:1; Rev 13:11,12) In the last days, the anointed remnant, the remaining “kings of the earth” are deceived by the “teachings of demons”. Matt 24:24,25; 1 Tim 4:1; Luke 22:31; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10 The anointed are the kings of the earth. (Rev 1:5) If they fail to remain faithful to Jesus, and instead listen to false prophets, they are still referred to as "kings" but haven't been sealed into the Kingdom, because they are listening and accepting the lies. They are the "ten kings" that merge with the Beast/organization when the Harlot false prophet is done away with. (Rev 17:12-18) The "kings of the earth" in Revelation always refer to God's chosen people. The Beast with two horns (horns meaning "kings" Rev 17:12) rises out of the earth. They are false prophets, fallen anointed ones. (Rev 8:10,11;13:11,12) Revelation describes God's people taken captive by lies of false prophets (Rev 13:10, 5-7), their falling away from truth, (Matt 24:24,25; 1 Tim 4:1;Rev 16:13-16) and those who repent and stand up to the lies, leading to their gaining salvation through that repentance. (Rev 10:11; 13:15; 11:1-3,7; 12:11) They gain victory over the Beast of Rev 13, that "made war", with them. (Rev 13:5-7; 15:2) This is the division of truth against lies spoken between God's chosen ones and whomever side their heart decides to follow. The apostle Paul mentioned the kings who had fallen from God's grace in his day, in 1 Cor 4:8; yet who are confident that they will rule with Christ, as your leadership believe they will also, no matter how many times they mislead the sheep with their lies. Look at it this way, when you read Revelation, keep Rev 1:5 in mind. "and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood" And, Rev 5:9,10 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” We can't mix two definitions of "kings of the earth", but must rely on the scripture's definition.
  13. There is no way to add a note near the link, since the option to edit is gone. For anyone to find out more, they would to read through the conversation. That is, unless I totally remove the post. After searching, I think even that option is up to Anna. This may have been posted on reddit, but I first saw it on another forum, where exjws and jws congregate.
  14. Tom, as I have said before, this crazy women would just as soon pull you and your family out of the org. This isn't hate against JWs, it is hate against lies, false doctrines. JWs have put their organization on a pedestal, yet it is full of the same corruptive elements as any other religious organization. God has never dismissed corruption when His people have abused and ignored His decrees, as the organization has. The wrath of God is real, and is enacted against His people. Will you be prepared to face it? Rev 18:4-8
  15. Okay, no one wants to experience what you are talking about. I can either highlight what you say here, or I can delete the entire post. What do you suggest?
  16. I can see that this is upsetting the two of you! If they call me in for distribution of copyright, they will have to haul in thousands of other people with me. I don't own the website, I linked it, just as everyone else has. I'm not having any of the problems that you are talking about SM, but I'll let you know.
  17. Whether that is true or not remains to be "seen". Amazing that within 15 minutes you found out that "half" of the site is dead. You're quick! Grant it, I haven't opened everything, but I have yet to come across links on the other pages, that don't work. Are you trying to dissuade JWs from checking it out themselves? If so, why? No kidding. 🙂
  18. After reading what R.Franz said about the 1975 issue in "Crisis of Conscience" I'd say that it is probably the most accurate recounting of the 1975 situation. I don't think anyone who was at Bethel during those years would find any inaccuracy in what he said. Remember, Ray (R.) Franz, was a GB member. Ray Franz, “In Search of Christian Freedom” – "I have seen people very greatly harmed by the false urgency surrounding the 1975 predictions, with some undergoing extreme emotional stress, families facing enduring economic strain for years, men who had given up good jobs having bouts with alcoholism due to the difficulty in finding new employment, elderly persons who faced a bleak future due to using insurance or similar funds prematurely, persons whose physical health was seriously damaged due to putting off surgery or other treatment. If the sacrifice had been for truth, for God, for a noble purpose, then it would be worth it. But it was due to a mental concoction (Col 2:8) originating with one person and then promulgated by an organization and it ended in nothing, proved a complete fiction. They may try to shrug it off, but the responsibility for all this rests with those who gave birth to the false hopes, who stirred up and excited illusionary expectations” (p. 567) Ray Franz, “In Search of Christian Freedom”, p. 425 – "The organization seeks to robe itself in the awesome role of a prophet of God and claim the deference that such a prophetic office merits. Yet it disclaims the responsibility for accuracy that goes with the office. If confronted with God’s words at Deuteronomy 18:20-22 about such prophetic accuracy, it presumes to set this aside as not applying to it in its role of a “genuine prophet”, and “authentic prophet class”. By what right does it do so? Does merely saying, “Well, we’re all imperfect”, excuse the organization from having that Biblical standard of a genuine prophet applied? It asks its adherents to disregard its past trail, which is strewn with unfulfilled predications and now-rejected erroneous interpretations, and to continue to put near reverential trust in what it publishes, granting it the dignity and honor and credence due a prophet of God. Instead of feeling humbled by the clear evidence of its erratic, zigzagging course, it becomes more strident in its claims, more dogmatic as to its pronouncements. Is this the course of a “genuine prophet” of God? When “the Assyrian” attacks, the elders must be absolutely convinced that Jehovah will deliver us. (3) At that time, the life-saving direction that we receive from Jehovah’s organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint. All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not. W 13/11/15 p. 20
  19. However, Jehovah did not let the people of Christendom, as led by the clergy, go without being warned that the League was a counterfeit substitute for the real kingdom of God. He had a “prophet” to warn them. This “prophet” was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah’s Christian witnesses. They are still proclaiming a warning, and have been joined and assisted in their commissioned work by hundreds of thousands of persons who have listened to their message with belief. Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a “prophet” of God. It is another thing to prove it. The only way that this can be done is to review the record. What does it show? (Wt 4/1/1972 p. 197) Have you done that lately? They are inviting you to go back the birth of the organization and "review the record". Here is your guideline to follow, when researching the record - Insight Book 2, p. 694-698: The true prophet would speak in Jehovah’s name; the things foretold would come to pass (De 18:20-22); and his prophesying must promote true worship, being in harmony with God’s revealed word and commandments (De 13:1-4). The last requirement was probably the most vital and decisive, for an individual might hypocritically use God’s name, and by coincidence, his prediction might see fulfillment. But the true prophet was not solely or even primarily a prognosticator, as has been shown. Rather, he was an advocate of righteousness, and his message dealt primarily with moral standards and their application. He expressed God’s mind on matters. (Isa 1:10-20; Mic 6:1-12) Hence, it was not necessary to wait perhaps for years or generations to determine whether the prophet was true or false by fulfillment of a prediction. If his message contradicted God’s revealed will and standards, he was false. The true prophet never foretold simply to satisfy human curiosity. Every prediction related to God’s will, purpose, standards, or judgment. (1Ki 11:29-39; Isa 7:3-9) Often the future events foretold were the consequence of existing conditions; as the people sowed, so they would reap. The false prophets lulled the people and their leaders with soothing assurances that, despite their unrighteous course, God was still with them to protect and prosper them. (Jer 23:16-20; 28:1-14; Eze 13:1-16; compare Lu 6:26.) They imitated the true prophets, employing symbolic language and actions. (1Ki 22:11; Jer 28:10-14)
  20. Rev 19:19 – “Then I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and against his army.” “John: To the seven churches in Asia. Grace and peace to you from the one who is, who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by his blood” Is Jesus ruler over the “kings”/leaders of the nations as well as his own "kings"? If that is the case, then why is there a need for the Wt to declare that Jesus is head over only the Watchtower, and only rules over its leaders? The kings of the earth are spoken of in Rev 5:9,10 “And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and you purchased people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation. You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.” The battle between the “kings of the earth” is between those faithful to Jesus, and those once under covenant with him but who have since become his enemies. (Rev 19:19; 12:7) Of course, we know that in “heaven”, the nations “kings”/rulers will not be found, but only Christ’s “called, chosen and faithful” priests/kings who successfully “rode” with him bearing truth during Armageddon, and rule with him in Zion. (Rev 17:14) “I did not see a temple in it, because the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.” Rev 21:22-24 Jesus is King of kings (Rev 19:16), but he is not king over the national leaders of the world. Matt 24:24,25; 1 Tim 4:1; Luke 22:31; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” So, which “kings” do you think Jesus is talking about that are being deceived by a false prophet? The nation's leaders who could very well be atheist? It is established by Rev 1:5 that the kings of the earth are under the rulership of Jesus Christ. Those with them, are all JWs from around the world - found in the organization. These kings were gathered over the years into one ”camp”, the Wt. (Rev 20:7-9) In there, they are presented with teachings that they must discern as either truth or lies (Joel 3:14); making the choice to either ride with Christ and his Truth, (Matt 25:1,2,6-10) or remain under the influence of “demonic expressions”, spoken by the enemies of Christ. This describes the division that is now occurring, the choice to follow Jesus Christ and his word, or to follow the “empty philosophy” of men – “kings” who have fallen from God’s grace. (1 Cor 11:19) “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Eph 6:12,13 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Cor 11:13-15 “I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.” Rev 2:2 “And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Rev 6:15-17 Jesus would not apply the term “kings of the earth” to world leaders that are not under covenant with him, nor ever have been; and then also apply that term to his anointed under covenant.
  21. Falsehood and deception? If you indeed "call it out", you would question just why 1975 was a topic among the leadership of the Watchtower, since false prophets are described in Deut 18:20-22, labeling the Wt's leaders as such, when all of the Armageddon dates failed. You would question their continuous change in doctrine, when Jesus told his disciples to "produce fruit that would last". (John 15:16) You would question why they push men's doctrine that contradicts the word of God, since Jesus blamed the Pharisees for teaching doctrine of men. (Mark 7:7) Instead, you take a topic and narrow down your focus onto one thing, letters of words that to you "prove" 1975 is...what, NOT a lie, NOT a false prediction? Then, you call exjws, the liars because they know how the organization works. You disregard the point that Watchtower danced around the topic every way they wanted, successfully misleading thousands to believe them - that Armageddon would arrive in 1975. And then, when it didn't happen, the members receive the blame for the leadership's lies. That - the fact that the leaders are false prophets, and not following the teachings of Jesus Christ, is what you could "call out"; but instead, you seem to defend the leaders and their lies. What sort of "Truther" Preacher are you? Here is a backward glance to 1975, which targets the year: "In modern times such eagerness, commendable in itself, has led to attempts at setting dates for the desired liberation from the suffering and troubles that are the lot of persons throughout the earth. With the appearance of the book Life Everlasting-in Freedom of the Sons of God, and its comments as to how appropriate it would be for the millennial reign of Christ to parallel the seventh millennium of man's existence, considerable expectation was aroused regarding the year 1975. There were statements made then, and thereafter, stressing that this was only a possibility. Unfortunately, however, along with such cautionary information, there were other statements published that implied that such realization of hopes by that year was more of a probability than a mere possibility . It is to be regretted that these latter statements apparently overshadowed the cautionary ones and contributed to a buildup of the expectation already initiated. Wt 3/15/1980 Did they stress it as "only a possibility" one hundred percent of the time? No. They bolstered their lie, and then they downplayed their lie. As I said, they danced around, back and forth: "Yes, the end of this system is so very near! Is that not reason to increase our activity?...Reports are heard of brothers selling their homes and property and planning to finish out the rest of their days in this old system in the pioneer service. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the short time remaining before the wicked world's end." (km 5/1974, p. 3) 'It also tells us that this millennium must be preceded immediately by the most destructive war in all human history. We can now see the political rulers... being gathered... for that War of all wars....' (Wt 7/1/1974) Post 1975 - "It may be that some who have been serving God have planned their lives according to a mistaken view of just what was to happen on a certain date or in a certain year. They may have, for this reason, put off or neglected things that they otherwise would have cared for. But they have missed the point of the Bibles warnings concerning the end of this system of things, thinking that Bible chronology reveals the specific date." Wt 7/15/1976 Oh! Now they are chastised for neglecting their homes and property that they were commended for selling, in order to pioneer. Who "missed the point"? Who had the "mistaken view"? Well, who "published" the articles? Who approved the articles? This religion is an organization built on lies from the beginning. It's leaders are false prophets, according to the word of God. If one looked into their Insight book under "prophets" it clearly proves that Wt leaders are false prophets. So, I will continue to call them out for it, just as you are trying so hard to call me out as a liar. You, spin your wheels trying to take down people who realize this - people who lived it, lived the lie of 1975 and all the other failed dates, as well as their continuous need to change their "understanding". Their biggest lie? Hmmm. 1914 "Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him: We ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to be easily upset or troubled, either by a prophecy or by a message or by a letter supposedly from us, alleging that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy[c] comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits[e] in God’s temple, proclaiming that he himself is God." 2 Thess 2:1-4 Done now!
  22. I think my "half-truth" and your "truth" are saying the same thing. "Just think, brothers, there are only about ninety months left before 6,000 years of mans existence on earth is completed... The majority of people living today will probably be alive when Armageddon breaks out, and there are no resurrection hopes for those who are destroyed then. So, now more than ever, it is vital not to ignore that spirit of wanting to do more." (km 3/1968 p. 4) "There is only a short time left before Jehovah will destroy this wicked system of things." (Wt 1/15/1969) "The Bible book of Revelation (chapters 20 and 21) reveals many of the good things that the thousand-year rule will bring. It also tells us that this millennium must be preceded immediately by the most destructive war in all human history. We can now see the political rulers or “kings of the entire inhabited earth” being gathered, under forces beyond human control, for that War of all wars, at the place called Har–Magedon" (Wt 74/7/1 pg 397)
  23. This is what I suggest. Buy yourself a 25 piece puzzle on Amazon, and practice putting it together until you see the entire picture on the box. Then, revisit 1975, put the pieces - all of the Wt articles pertaining to 1975, together, and you will see the entire picture. (but you already know that) Better yet, find a JW who sold his house around 1975, and forfeited his job to prepare for Armageddon. Ask him, if he believed the organization's leaders told him that 1975 was the date for Armageddon. (you already know his answer) If you can't envision the "picture" puzzle, or you don't believe the JW, you are either blind, hard of hearing, a liar, or a manipulator - for whatever reason, only you know.
  24. Dear Dmitar, dear Allen, Who are you trying to protect? What are you defending? The sly way the leadership promoted, but didn't promote, a date for Armageddon to come? Isn't that called hypocrisy? Is this how Jesus expects those whom he sends, to teach his sheep? John 13:20 Prov 13:5; Luke 12:1
