Bible Speaks got a reaction from Melinda Mills in Peace Will Prevail Between Humans and Animals
Very soon, peace will prevail between humans and animals.
6 "The wolf will reside for a while with the lamb,
And with the young goat the leopard will lie down,
    And the calf and the lion and the fattened animal will all be together;
And a little boy will lead them.
7  The cow and the bear will feed together,
And their young will lie down together.
The lion will eat straw like the bull.
8 The nursing child will play over the lair of a cobra,And a weaned child will put his hand over the den of a poisonous snake.
9 They will not cause any harm
Or any ruin in all my holy mountain,
Because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah
As the waters cover the sea."

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Carol Ann Torres in What is Crooked Can't be Made Straight
15 "What is crooked cannot be made straight, And what is lacking cannot possibly be counted." (Ecc.1:15).
What, though, determines whether a person is wise or foolish? Proverbs 14:2 states: “The one walking in his uprightness is fearing Jehovah, but the one crooked in his ways is despising Him.”
The upright one fears the true God, and “the fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom.” (Psalm 111:10)
A truly wise person knows that it is his obligation to “fear the true God and keep his commandments.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
On the other hand, the foolish one follows a course that is not in harmony with God’s standards of uprightness. His ways are crooked. Such a person despises God, saying in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.”—Psalm 14:1.
The wise king warns of where knowledge is not to be found. “Go away from in front of the stupid man,” he says, “for you will certainly not take note of the lips of knowledge.” (Proverbs 14:7)
A stupid person lacks true knowledge. Lips that utter knowledge do not belong to him. The advice is to get away from such a man, and it is wise to stay away from him. Anyone “having dealings with the stupid ones will fare badly.”—Proverbs 13:20.
When our words and deeds are guided by wisdom, we have the “riches and glory” that exist with wisdom. (Proverbs 8:18)            They include a peaceful relationship with God and our fellowman, a sense of well-being, and a measure of stability.             Yes, “the tent of the upright ones” can flourish even now. Bible Speaks got a reaction from Afresh in Can You Find Peace in This Troubled World?
“Ever since the days of Adam, man has been hiding from God and saying, ‘God is hard to find.’”

Can You Find Peace in This Troubled World?
Many people yearn for inner peace. They may search for it in religion, meditation seminars, or yoga groups. Others hope to find peace in nature—taking vacation trips, hiking in mountains and wilderness areas, or visiting natural spas.
Even if the searchers seem to find some inner peace, they may soon come to realize that such peace is superficial and short-lived.
So where can you find real peace? The source of peace is our Creator, Jehovah God. Why? He is the “God who gives peace.” (Romans 15:33) Under the rule of his Kingdom that is soon to come, there will be an “abundance of peace.” (Psalm 72:7; Matthew 6:9, 10)
This is far more than just a feeble peace settlement. Such accords often herald little more than a brief interruption in hostilities. But God’s peace will eliminate all causes of war and strife. In fact, no one will learn war anymore. (Psalm 46:8, 9)
Real peace for all at last!
If we sincerely repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness on the basis of Jesus’ sacrifice, God will extend forgiveness, which contributes to our peace of mind and heart. (Acts 3:19)
When we realize that life cannot be enjoyed to its fullest extent until the coming of Christ’s Kingdom, we avoid frantically living as if this life is all there is. (1 Timothy 6:19)
Of course, we are not spared all trouble, but we can find comfort in the sure hope that the best life is yet to come.
Yes, you can find inner peace. It comes from Jehovah God, who gives it to those who draw close to him and who want to follow his guidance. By an examination of his Word, the Bible, you can become familiar with his thoughts.
Applying his directions is not necessarily easy. But it is worth all the effort because “the God of peace will be with you.”—Philippians 4:9.

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Carol Ann Torres in How to Cope with a Thorn in the Flesh..
    How to Cope with a
    Thorn in the Flesh....
ARE you contending with some ongoing trial?
If so, you are not alone. In these “critical times hard to deal with,” faithful Christians are coping with bitter opposition, family problems, sickness, financial anxieties, emotional distresses, the loss of loved ones in death, and other challenges.
Some may even cry out to God, “Why are you letting this happen to me?”
If such a negative attitude were to take root in a person’s heart, it could erode his joy and confidence.
Jehovah God fights in our behalf. He has made sure that his servants are not ignorant regarding Satan’s tactics. (2 Corinthians 2:11)
Paul, having been sorely tried, was inspired to write: “There was given me a thorn in the flesh, an angel of Satan, to keep slapping me, that I might not be overly exalted.” (2 Corinthians 12:7)
What was this thorn in Paul’s flesh? Well, a thorn lodged deep under the skin would certainly be painful. So the metaphor suggests something that caused Paul pain—whether physical, emotional, or both.
It may be that Paul suffered from an eye affliction or some other physical infirmity.
Or the thorn may have involved those individuals who challenged Paul’s credentials as an apostle and called into question his preaching and teaching work. (2 Corinthians 10:10-12; 11:5, 6, 13)
Whatever it was, that thorn remained in place and could not be removed.
Today, Satan is just as pleased when we are similarly troubled by a thorn in the flesh.
God has given us many examples inhis holy Word, the Bible, showing that his faithful servants have successfully coped with thorns in their flesh.
    •Paul
    •Mephibosheth
    •Nehemiah
    •Rebekah
    •Hannah
    •King David
    •Micaiah
    •Job
The preceding examples by no means represent an exhaustive list. The Bible contains many more.
All these faithful servants had to contend with their own figurative thorns. And what a wide variety of problems they faced!
Yet, they had something incommon. None of them gave up in their service to Jehovah.
Read this at this link and know you are not alone with your own personal thorn in the flesh!
Despite all their distressing tests, they overcame Satan in the strength that Jehovah provided them.

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Queen Esther in "Where Were YOU When I Founded the Earth?"
    38 JOB
"Then Jehovah answered Job out of the windstorm:
2 “Who is this who is obscuring my counsel
    And speaking without knowledge?
3 Brace yourself, please, like a man; I will question you, and you inform me.
4 Where were you when I founded the earth?
Tell me, if you think you understand.
5 Who set its measurements, in case you know,
Or who stretched a measuring line across it?
6 Into what were its pedestals sunk,
    Or who laid its cornerstone,
7 When the morning stars joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause?
8 And who barricaded the sea behind doors
When it burst out from the womb,
9 When I clothed it with clouds And wrapped it in thick gloom,
10 When I established my limit for it And put its bars and doors in place,
    11 And I said, ‘You may come this far, and no farther;
Here is where your proud waves will stop’?
12 Have you ever commanded the morning Or made the dawn know its place,
13 To take hold of the ends of the earth And to shake the wicked out of it?
14 It is transformed like clay under a seal, And its features stand out like those of a garment.
15 But the light of the wicked is held back from them,
And their uplifted arm is broken.
16 Have you gone down to the sources of the sea
    Or explored the deep waters?
17 Have the gates of death been revealed to you, Or have you seen the gates of deep darkness?
18 Have you understood the vast expanse of the earth?
Tell me, if you know all of this.
19 In which direction does the light reside?
And where is the place of darkness,
20 That you should take it to its territory
And understand the paths to its home?
21 Do you know this because you were already born
And the number of your years is great?
22 Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,
23 Which I have reserved for the time of distress,
For the day of battle and war?
24 From what direction is light dispersed,
And from where does the east wind blow on the earth?
25 Who has cut a channel for the flood
And made a path for the thunderous storm cloud,
26 To make it rain where no man lives, On the wilderness where there are no humans,
    27 To satisfy devastated wastelands
And cause the grass to sprout?
28 Does the rain have a father, Or who fathered the dewdrops?
29 From whose womb did the ice emerge,
And who gave birth to the frost of heaven
30 When the waters are covered as if with stone,
And the surface of the deep waters is frozen solid?
31 Can you tie the ropes of the Kiʹmah constellation Or untie the cords of the Keʹsil constellation?
32 Can you lead out a constellation in its season Or guide the Ash constellation along with its sons?
33 Do you know the laws governing the heavens, Or can you impose their authority on the earth?
34 Can you raise your voice to the clouds
To cause a flood of water to cover you?
35 Can you send out lightning bolts?
Will they come and say to you, ‘Here we are!’
36 Who put wisdom within the clouds
Or gave understanding to the sky phenomenon?
37 Who is wise enough to count the clouds,
Or who can tip over the water jars of heaven
38 When the dust pours into a mass
And the clods of earth stick together?
39 Can you hunt prey for a lion
Or satisfy the appetites of young lions
40 When they crouch in their lairs Or lie in ambush in their dens?
41 Who prepares food for the raven
When its young cry to God for help
And wander about because there is nothing to eat?

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Richteresa in Speak the Truth in Your Heart
    15O Jehovah, who may
be a guest in your tent?
Who may reside in your holy mountain?
2 The one who is walking faultlessly,
    Practicing what is right
And speaking the truth in his heart."
(Psalm 15:1,2)       Do not let your mouth say       what your heart doesn't feel.

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Queen Esther in “Have Love for the Whole Association of Brothers."
“Have Love for the Whole Association of Brothers."
Our main reason for being a part of our Christian brotherhood is our love for Jehovah. So we love to learn about him and to teach others about him. And we love the people whom Jehovah loves. When we help them in times of need, we do not expect God to thank us. Instead, we thank God because we view our Christian brotherhood as a precious gift from him. As the last days of this loveless world are winding down, may we continue to demonstrate love for the whole association of brothers!
