    Do Jehovah's Witnesses Accept Evolution?
Some people claim that JWs reject the Theory of Evolution in favor of the Bible's creation account in Genesis.
    But is that really true?
Note these frank admissions in Watch Tower publications:
"Scientists have proved evolution to be true." -- Answers to 10 Questions Young People Ask (2016) p. 27
    "Evolution is a fact." -- Answers to 10 Questions Young People Ask Work, Volume 2 (2016) p. 27; W13 10/15 p. 11; “Bearing Thorough Witness” About God’s Kingdom (2009) p. 141; G 9/06 p. 22; W04 10/1 p. 10; g90 1/22 pp. 8-10; g87 7/22 p. 10; Life - How Did It Get Here? By Evolution or by Creation? (1985) pp. 26, 180, 181; G74 9/22 p. 26
"Evolution is as much a fact as the heat of the sun." -- G 9/06 p. 13; Was Life Created? (2010) p. 18
"Evolution is as much a fact as the existence of gravity." -- Life - How Did It Get Here? By Evolution or by Creation? (1985) p. 181
    "Evolution is a fact; God is a myth." G90 1/22 p.11
"Evolution is a fact. It no longer needs to be proved. No competent scientist doubts it. All educated people believe it. Only the ignorant reject it." G87 1/22 p. 10
"There’s no question that evolution is a fact. We see examples of it every day. No responsible person questions it. It’s as much a fact as gravity and atoms!" -- G74 9/22 p. 17

Despite Alan F's protestations to the contrary I agree with you that Lewontin, an evolutionary zoologist was correctly quoted in both the earlier and recent editions of the marvellous Creation book. He made a simple admission/statement that has come back to haunt him and then he protests about being misquoted. One thing I have found common in all atheistic/evolutionary writings that such cannot igore either theistic or metaphysical terms or language in trying to explain the subject matter.

You would almost think from the way some carry on here, that a case of child sexual abuse "properly handled" means it did not happen.
It is like the team of grief counselors called in after a school shooting. Of course, it is nice that they are called in. But it would have been even nicer had the school shooting not taken place in the first place.
Therefore the transcending lesson to take away from this hearing is not the 1006 abuse victims whose cases were not handled properly in the eyes of Australian authorities. It is the 37,000 cases of abuse nationwide (in a single year) that would not have happened were greater society able to imitate the record of Jehovah's Witnesses.

That your only source? I am sure there is probably more than that you can sure in terms of influence (or high influence), as well as the other things listed in blue in my previous post. I read page 914 and onward, somewhat contradicting to your claims in the pages ahead, this influence you speak of isn't that much sufficient as you claim in your source. Got anymore?
That being said, people who seem to state one has an influence in something lean towards accepting said conclusions, therefore, those who "think" someone is something may feel as though said person is something they assume and you are not the first to say this so-and-so is a Mason or have masonic influence.
Anyways this is what he said: Although I have never been a Mason ... Something I do seems to be the same as Masons do, I don't know what it is; but they often give me all kinds of grips and I give them back, then I tell them I don't know anything about it except just a few grips that have come to me naturally.
Note:Throughout his ministry he said that he believed Christian identity is incompatible with Freemasonry. He described Freemasonry, Knights of Pythias, Theosophy, and other such groups as "grievous evils" and "unclean".
He made this comment at a Masonic Hall in San Francisco during a "speaking tour" around June 1913.

Plus most Christians back then are neutral or not a fan of Masons, others tend to reason with them, attempt to convert them.

You could have just left it there.
The spotlight is only on them because they were proactive enough to look into something everyone else ran away from. Other faiths did not know or want to know whether members actually applied Bible teachings or not. Through neglect of what turns out to be a most serious problem, they produced no record for the ARC or anyone else to hold hearings on.
The other case studies the ARC investigated (there were 57 altogether) were social or govenment institutions or schools, who tracked abuse incidents. Other religions did not touch such things.
The finding that should be spotlighted, though it was not because its mission was something else, is that children appear to be 10 times safer in the Witness community than in the general Austrailain popluation.

Because the Watchtower did what no one else was proactive enough to do.
With an eye to keeping clean as a congregation before God's eyes - as clean as possible - which the Bible obligates Christians to do, they chose to look into reports of abuse, and not hide their heads in the sand, as did everyone else. That is why there is this list of 1006 over 60 years that you and Rook have focused on.
Everyone else (except for clergy) have had crimes of child sexual abuse discovered independently by authorities, and no connection is ever made with whatever religion they belong to.

So now you seem to be walking back on your acknowledgement that the JW organization is 10 times more successfull in preventing child abuse than the general Australian population. Or are you? I am not sure what you are doing. It may be you just gag at the thought of saying anything good about them, though they have clearly earned it.
However, to draw an analogy that I think is parallel:
Unilke Jehovah's Witnesses, who are politically neutral, or at the very least, keep their politics to themself, you wear yours on your sleeve. You have made it very clear who you regard as the better political leader, even calling HRC the Devil.
Trump, in your eyes, is (at least) 10 times better in leadership than Hillary.
Therefore, I would expect you to be maligning and castigating him, as you do here with the ones whose record is 10 times better. Don't let anyone give him any credit for anything. Blast him away. Say something nasty about past business dealings, or comments to Billy Bush. Don't let them tell you there is nothing to Russian collusion. Dig into it!
You do not hesitate to do it and more with Christian leadership. Do it with the political leader you favor.

Nana Fofana reacted to Melinda Mills in What single decision had the greatest effect on history?
It did not just depend on Alexander's  decision.  God has a say in these things.
Satan is the ruler of this world (1 John 5: 19) but Jehovah is the Supreme ruler in the kingdom of mankind (see scripture below)
(Daniel 4:34, 35) 34 “And at the end of the days I, Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar, lifted up to the heavens my eyes, and my own understanding began to return to me; and I blessed the Most High himself, and the One living to time indefinite I praised and glorified, because his rulership is a rulership to time indefinite and his kingdom is for generation after generation. 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are being considered as merely nothing, and he is doing according to his own will among the army of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth. And there exists no one that can check his hand or that can say to him, ‘What have you been doing?’
(Daniel 4:16, 17) . . .Let its heart be changed from that of a human, and let it be given the heart of a beast, and let seven times pass over it. 17 This is by the decree of watchers, and the request is by the word of the holy ones, so that people living may know that the Most High is Ruler in the kingdom of mankind and that he gives it to whomever he wants, and he sets up over it even the lowliest of men.”
(Proverbs 21:1) A king’s heart is like streams of water in Jehovah’s hand. He directs it wherever He pleases.
Remember, too, that Jehovah said that Babylon was not be rebuilt, but Alexander had plans to do just that.

I believe it was addressed, specially when you take into account the case studies and the final reports of the ARC and before that. What can be done is to educate the elders and better clarify the rules, as the ARC addressed this in accordance with the rules the JWs follow, which is said to be biblical. I wouldn't call it pride though, if you understood why the name of God is used by the group and not what to say in God's name you'd understand, it says it in the bible and even Jews and Muslims today know what it means, therefore, not really much a thing about pride, especially if one openly uses the name and or a transliteration of the name of God.
The recommendations of the ARC were address, even including what the JWs have learn and what needs to be clarified to elders of the church. Also Catholics offering to help JWS? Do you have a source to this claim? Catholic leaders are not a fan of JWs, in fact, they had a hand in the situation with the ban of JWs in Russia as well as Egypt. Also there is no problem with a church taking in money and or resources since it is to push out the advancement of the Great Commission as well as maintaining the church of where people come to worship, this also includes the material used. As for situations that can't be helped, it isn't limited to JWs, everyone has problems regarding abuse, even to us Unitarians, to be ignorant of that just only proves the response is to target a sole group.
As for justice, you should know what Religious Laws and Secular Laws are and how they are not always so mixed in well with each other. With that in mind of what thing that sometimes keeps a church from taking action, thus not really ignoring  Peter 2:13-20. In addition to that, there is also religious exemption laws on the behalf of state and government, you may want to take a look into that as well, since of course, most states bare some responsibility, especially in the United States for proof of these can easily be found.

Technically what you are asking of is pretty much one-sided the way you worded out everything.
It isn't about money, as you claim it to be, and with what I have dug into, and seeing with what they also do with their money pretty much tells the world that unlike some Christians, money is use mostly to push the advancement of the gospel, keep their churches well kept, and maintaining it, etc as well as produce publications. I am also aware of the whole apartment/estate thing, but it would seem that it is used by their members, especially those that come in and out of the states. Now if they bought a jumbo jet, have private planes, and selling bibles at nearly $200 dollars a pop, then I would be convinced it is all about the money.
They do see it, you see it and make it out as something as it is not, which contrasts with our last conversation about Jesus' birth.
Apostates of any faith bare strong hatred for a group,an example is they will gun for anyone who thinks otherwise or anyone who oppose them.
How exactly are they being robbed? Money isn't be used for to advance the gospel?
I am pretty sure people know this, and there are people who know when cross a line that shouldn't be crossed is a bit much. An example would be a locales in Warwick actually defending JWs after a failed stunt by JW opponents stopped by an ex bible Student, a Passaic county graphic designer, interestingly a homosexual guy who even spoke up, and all 3 of them were attacked by JW opponents, who blamed the JWs for ceasing an assault until the truth and came out and these 3 were targeted, threatened, and insulted, until a commenter had to even go to Cedars that the JW opponents have gone too far. In addition to that, local churches did not get involved for the very reason of religious/Christian infighting.
Plus if you answers to questions that will suit you, the best place to ask them is a place where people share your views in targeting a faith.
PS: You wouldn't want to know what the graphic designer said in describing the masses that assaulted her channel before she and the others went private.

Nana Fofana reacted to David Normand in What Does the Bible Say About Dinosaurs?
*** g90 2/8 pp. 3-5 Discovering ‘The Great Reptiles’ of the Past *

    The Genesis Account and Dinosaurs
While the radioactive dating method is innovative, it is still based on speculation and assumption. In contrast, the Bible account in the first chapter of Genesis simply states the general order of creation. It allows for possibly thousands of millions of years for the formation of the earth and many millenniums in six creative eras, or “days,” to prepare the earth for human habitation.
Some dinosaurs (and pterosaurs) may indeed have been created in the fifth era listed in Genesis, when the Bible says that God made “flying creatures” and “great sea monsters.” Perhaps other types of dinosaurs were created in the sixth epoch. The vast array of dinosaurs with their huge appetites would have been appropriate considering the abundant vegetation that evidently existed in their time.—Genesis 1:20-24.
When the dinosaurs had fulfilled their purpose, God ended their life. But the Bible is silent on how he did that or when. We can be sure that dinosaurs were created by Jehovah for a purpose, even if we do not fully understand that purpose at this time. They were no mistake, no product of evolution. That they suddenly appear in the fossil record unconnected to any fossil ancestors, and also disappear without leaving connecting fossil links, is evidence against the view that such animals gradually evolved over millions of years of time. Thus, the fossil record does not support the evolution theory. Instead, it harmonizes with the Bible’s view of creative acts of God.

Hmm. It is Pastor Inqfist's wife salivating over her upcoming stay at the resort during the Lutheran minister's retreat, which they colloquially renamed 'stampede.' At long last she can sit around a swimming pool in a two piece bathing suit, sipping a drink, without triggering frowns. But then the befuddled pastor discovered he had mixed up the tickets. He has the expired ones from two years ago. The event this year has already taken place.

grumble, grumble... Well...he stayed in a Coleman tent in my back yard when he visited here.
About 3 he knocked on the door to use my bathroom. I told him that there was a perfectly fine outhouse in back. Then I made him pull my millstone, and I wouldn't let him eat off the threshing room floor.

New Update!  my ama is 101 years old now. And will be baptized this month! After studying the bible for only a year,  Ama routinely attends  the meetings!  She commented that she is really happy, many brothers and sisters like to be my friends. They love me. It's so different with others; i like to be here...
Yeah.. Ama has a good  memory. Even tough biblical figures are difficult to remember, but she tried and tried to remember it all. The numbers in the bible also she tried to remember.  And Jehovah knows her struggles..
Today I visited my enthusiastic bible student. She is 97 but still doing good in remembering something. She remembered what we have learnt before. Then we inquired her : "Have U started to pray to Jehovah madam?". In response she said "Every single morning I pray to Jehovah, I ask for healthier life so I could walk vigorously". (And my smile shows my happiness). And again we asked : "Do U love Jehovah?". And then she said "I love Jehovah because He loves me as well". @angelina_tarigan
