  1. Granted that China is a legitmate ally of Russia and Syria, it would be interesting to see how such things turn out. A fun fact: American Flags have been/still made in China.
  2. Yes, but regarding him I do not see how is trying to approach masturbation and pornography in such as to give a helping hand a smoke screen when others are in the same boat trying to help those who have this problem, mainly if said problem grows out of control to the point they will do things they would never think of doing to begin with. For any person and or group who is combating this addiction, such is no smoke screen, for this is the same game those who are for masturbation and pornography and think it is a normal way of life, will often say, and I have run into such ones before who give the wrong ideas to people who are clearly not a fan of the problem.
  3. I haven't missed the point - granted what I quoted from you and what I had said in response. You are again mixing topics together - again, and as I told you, the focus here is masturbation and pornography an you have already been spoken to over a dozen of times regarding child abuse, the topic is still there and what was said and discus is still there, even with various information directed towards you, I believe someone brought this up and the topic itself had most likely been brought up, but this is not the focus here. That being said, my response to you is of what you have stated, 2 things. You've made mention of God's approval, I asked you how do you know of whom God approves and who he does not approve, when you yourself who read the Bible should know how such things play out, mainly in regards to the Covenant that took place after Jesus' death, and later on, resurrection. The other thing I told you is that what you call a "smoke screen "is false because the same action of teaching and advising is used to profess to others when combating pornography addiction. I even gave you 2 links, and in mention of another group who also does the same thing with the common goal being - fighting against masturbation and pornography - I advised you to take a look, read the experiences, and stories, this is coming from a guy who does deal with children and young ones, as I have told you multiple times before. I wouldn't call it hypocrisy either granted 2 separate things are spoken of. The video in question was directed to an audience of their community with the topic being masturbation and pornography , a problem that plagues all men and women regardless of age and race. And as I have told you before, they do not allow it, they, like ALL INSTITUTIONS cannot prevent such 100% because it is global, it is all over the place, it is in the schools, the churches, the clubs, the hospitals, etc. The Jehovah's Witnesses are no different, for thr sins of man seeps into them as well, hence this is what I will say because several times in this regard, I told you time and time again and you are bringing up something that should be spoken of elsewhere, I rather this thread not become like the Glasgow and Trust Funds thread some weeks ago - therefore, keeping it focused. That being said, I did address a question to you of this is of what is being talked about here as well, and I quote:
  4. Indeed. Some advice giving by people, even by religious folk can be cringe worthy by some, but it has a foundation. And advice is given so because sexual immortality is on an increase, in today's day and age, you have VR chat, anything that is done in places that promote sexual immortality, it can be emulated by motion controls and a VR headset, for any move you do, it is reproduced in the virtual game itself. Our children also have to be careful in this domain, for even their favorite characters from shows and or video games, there are those who take those characters and turn them into something inappropriate, for instance, Franklin the Turtle, there are those out there that has made volumes upon volumes of inappropriate material of this one character from a kids show, and it does not stop there. Next we have magazines like Vogue promoting Sodomy to children, and even teaching them on how to do that when they barely hit the age of 18. It is stuff like this that irks me and or anyone who is fighting against pornography and the adult industry, for you can win one battle, then the next wave arrives, and another, and another. With every new piece of technology and new systems, the waves multiply increasingly each time. That being said, I like the verse you used. For if one willingly gives the the problem more firewood, the fire will continue to grow bigger and bigger until it cannot be contained, in this same way this addiction, in turn, sin.
  5. Stuff like this is usually done depending on the individuals. If something regarding the addiction is in association with males, most likely it will be a male audience, the same can be said of women also, for some today do not believe women can succumb to this addiction. Sexual Immortality is catered predominately men, for it is said that anything related to sex and or women can be used as a weapon to men, therefore sending them into sexual immorality and other vile things. Some issues deemed too extreme and or explicit is also another factor. As for the married and or anyone who is dating, it is done so the couple is aware of such issues. Like I said, there are others who do this also, example would be the reboot community otherwise known as The Reboot Nation - another pocket army who is at war with masturbation and porn, it's founder being Gabe Deem.
  6. Masturbation and Pornography, anything in connection to Sexual Immortality and or ill fleshy desires is indeed something of which God isn't fan of. I don't see how it is a smoke screen, as you say, when both the religious and non-religious speak of and do the same thing in order to give their two cents on the matter of prevention. This is why I told JTR, even linking him the very community of where all Christians spoke up on this matter, therefore, Christians doing this, it is not outlandish for the Jehovah's Witnesses to do the same thing - this also goes for the people who are against Okatu culture in Japan and elsewhere, of which people rather give themselves self-gratification rather, which is in the realm of sexual immortality. You are free to look for the 2 links I provided JTR because such things are a smoke screen when the masturbation and Pornography is indeed problematic, I say this because I am someone who actually help young ones with such issues, give advice and so forth, even losing a friend to it when those of the adult industry pulled her in and made her face public, even my own brother who had been addicted to pornography for some years came clean because of the help that me myself and my father provided, what we did was not anything in trying to pretend to do anything, we realized the problem, we went about it both as a as a family and spiritually and because of our efforts, he ceased the addiction. This situation an the situation of a late friend mirrors that of the many, many young ones and teenagers, even adults of whom I had spoken, who are also battling with that of sexual immorality, for this battle matters not race and or faith because it is a problem that is great one and help provided is nothing as you call it, a smoke screen, and to people who deal with these things, hearing these stories, I see this as a jab to the chest. And regarding the problem it isn't an issue of judging, it is an issue of zeroing in on the problem and trying to fix and or help when an individual and or persons is dealing with masturbation and pornography. Next time you want to say something is but a smoke screen, take the time and read the experiences, stories and struggles of those in the same boat. Even what the Jehovah's Witnesses bring forth of this matter, the same information can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap/ https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFapChristians/ (and that is only 2 to the community as a whole, nothing in this regard even when professed by others is a smoke screen) When you actually help a great deal of people and listen to them about this addiction, it would never be wise to call it a smoke screen. You of all people should know this addiction that plagues today's society is like that of a virus, whereas people have to fight their own inner demons to overcome it while others fall victim to it and see themselves as worthless people such ones who do not take the time to see, listen and hear do not extend their hand to help. The other factor here is if they are trying as do others who actually use their blood and sweat into doing so, what are you contributing to helping prevent masturbation and pornography addiction, how would you deal with a young one who nearly did something very, very grave because of the addiction? That being said, you've yet to show how and where did a Restorationist group had suddenly lost favor in God when their Christology points to them striving to and or have been attempting to be like the early church - in this regard, informing their community about masturbation and pornography.
  7. This is insane and tragic, and there are other situations far worse than this. @Andreas Meier The forums have changed so topics have been moved over to this section. Also a majority of the users are on this section.
  8. In short, I assume you were talking about corporate firing of someone who is found to be in error in the workplace. I wouldn't call it fantasy, this is the case with cooperate businesses and the like. I should know because I had a hand in dealing in such places and out of experience this is the case when you are a man of color in such places, mainly if such ones are aware of your background and or history, and or what race you are. This stems into the medical field as well (also including labor and pharmaceutical companies), whereas it is a bit harsh and far worse compared to corporate. That being said, I assume you were talking about workplace firing and the like, the very reason I bring up what is actually a reality. I would also like to add such things can happen indirectly be those within the company and or outside of it, which will prompt targeting and or gang-stalking of the targeted individual.
  9. This you must do to continue to gain more understanding, also to keep yourself in check, in regards to doing so there will be some path that opens that leads you in the correct direction. Indeed Jesus spoke of Jerusalem and her destruction, and this gives us an example today of how people take to warning of what is to comer. Like I said, we do not know about God's approval and or not, but the fact that they strive to follow the early church is a telltale sign, as is with ALL Restorationist, the very reason why a lot of true Christians remain in total neutrality them. But stuff like this will continue to happen and will only continue to do so until the Son of God returns, therefore what is plaguing mankind that comes from sin itself, will continue to happen until then. That being said, regarding masturbation and pornography, as is discussed here, those afflicted with such an addiction, it will continue onward, even among the greatest of people be it religious or not. Some give in, and some actually try to find solutions to their problems, some fail, some succeed. Going with I professed before, it is not something out of the ordinary for religious people to speak on the matter and give some advice of what to do, as well as to explain it. The very reason why I links and information to such ones who also do the same thing of which the JWs are doing, but these people are confined to a sole sub-community on the website known as reddit. Although it is solely Christian, it branches out to the community as a whole who put their differences aside because they have a common enemy - sexual immorality. They themselves know you cannot erase sexual immortality from the world, reality and virtually, however, it does not stop them from helping and preventing some instances. When God sends Jesus to earth, only then such things will cease.
  10. Not always the case. There is always training, warning, and restrictions to be made. Sometimes a suspension and or a revoke of title, or someone being displaying an in real life problem called the ID 10t error in the work place. Firing would depending on the person and employer and what was actually done and it is often a last resort, but others only fire out of hate, example, because the best worker in the force is a woman of color and is not liked by the boss, she can be fired for something very minor while that same mistake done by someone else who is not of color will be given a warning and or a minor suspension - other times it may not be a minor mistake, something can be made behind the scenes to "set up" the targeted person.
  11. The Apostolic Church was also organized. It comes down to the matter of who is striving to be like, is already like, and or attempting to be like the early church, of this order is of God's approval, as well as what Jesus entrusted the church to do. We cannot come out of the gates and say that their direction is not approved by God, for as I told you before, God knows who is for him and who is not. If you have several people actually attempting to follow the early church, that alone should tell you something and it is easy to see what direction the early church was going for before the council itself, the teachings and practices of the church prior to the council, of which I was telling the Trinitarian, who thinks there is an afterlife, here several months ago. And we have talked in 2-3 topics already about child abuse and such have already been explained to you, we are now on the discussion of the church and those who partake in masturbation and pornography, you are free to post any new information on the other threads, but clearly we do not want another storm here, mainly when the topic is of serious concern. Lastly, it is common for anyone to say they are the only line of communication to God, mind you, they are Restorationist Christian, it is very, very common with them to say such and they do this because as their Apostolic roots, they are actually doing what needs to be done in order to make that claim, be is Restorationist that are of an organized religion and or a sole individual. That being said, this is why I encourage people to learn the history of the early church, if the Agnostics can do it, so can others. Also regarding to the other thing you said, you should be discerning, not going upon opinion and feelings in this regard, granted that such things are taking place with mankind as a whole.
  12. Or how far they've gone off the rails, which will enable grounds of excommunication, mainly if the person in question is aware and accepting that his actions are not wrong vs. those who are in agony who speak up on their problems and seek help, such ones are not expelled compared to the ones that are expelled for committing the act willfully, but yes, it depends. Some people commit masturbation and view pornography will eventually dwell into things that is not normal to them, bizarre even, others will go about seeking to actually get themselves in sexual immortality such as sexual relations and so forth. Another factor is anyone in a relationship can shatter what they have due to this addiction, they'll be lucky if the mate helps them to break free from the addiction. Regarding the addiction, better to stamp out the weeds in the grass before it grows, next thing you know, the one with the addiction will take it a step further, and will end up meeting people for one sole purpose, granted today's society allows one to do such, as they say, hookup with others by a simply click and or swipe. Somewhat unrelated, but a brief example of someone who has been heavy on this addiction, but today is fighting against it and inspiring others to do the same: An example I can bring up in this case is a story about a man who had it rough as a teenager into his adulthood regarding this addiction. He's been watching pornography and masturbating since he was in his 2nd year in high school when such was introduced to him by peers at school, and after high school, around the age 20-21, his addiction grew to the point where he is unable to focus, unable to sleep properly and eventually he began seeking as well as talking to prostitutes and eventually over time, he found one via online, for this time the struggling man had some money and he knew exactly want he wanted and what he is doing. How he changed over time in an instant was like dodging a bullet, for he was well on his way to meet the prostitute, as he said, an Asian woman, he entered the room and everything and before anything had been done, he stopped himself at the entrance and went about his own revelation of things, telling himself what was it he was doing, what did he get himself into, thinking to himself and ignoring what the woman was telling him, and he simply fled he area, as the woman was trying to tell him where he is going, as he puts it, she was trying to influence him to come back and carry on with what was going to happen. From that day on, has been working to better himself, although he, as do many continue to fight to not relapse, this man has worked to inspire others to stay away from masturbation and pornography. He is also someone who is trying to live a peaceable life too, he is also a YouTuber, and like many who are fighting against masturbation and pornography, he is one of them. This is the only image I can pull of the man that isn't a huge picture, but this is an image of him months after what took place.  This is but one of many stories from those in the trenches. That being said, this is the next step in fear of those who practice the addiction. For some people, they end up falling to the point they cannot get up, so the help is necessary. For this is why problems like this it is best to speak to someone about it, but some do not because the fact that their actions is made known by someone else, they will feel embarrassed. To some Christians, if they do practice such they feel worthless in the face of God, but God knows we are imperfect, and we sin, by means of His Son, repentance is a possibility, for we repent and while we do so, we speak with others so they can also provide some help.
  13. Yes, The Woz is only in the million dollar club whereas others are above him, for instance, singer Tina Turner, her net worth is net worth is estimated to $250 million.
  14. That can be a yes and no in some cases regarding excommunication. If anything, there would be a push to help that one person who is dealing with that problem some help. This was the case of my brother, who was literally deep in the trenches when it came to masturbation and pornography. Before myself and my father stepping in to help, after he commits such an action, you can tell, even though you do not know what he did until he spoke up, he was not 100%, and didn't get enough sleep. Agreed. In the community I linked here several times already, self-control is a key factor in trying to stop the habit. That and a ton of willpower, mainly if such one is practicing the habit for a very long time, and it is not easy. Those who succeed act as an influence and or leaders to those in the same boat they use to set sail in.
  15. Not only Bullfrogs, but what if.... Just what if pigs can truly fly? Whisk away into the heavens alongside birds and flying insects. Â The Chickens will be very jealous. For us of mankind this would be extremely bizarre to see, moreover, the phrase "when pigs fly" would have been literal this time.
  16. @Jack Ryan John 5:28-29 - (28) Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice (29) and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment. Revelation 21:4 - He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” 1 Corinthians 15:26 - The last enemy to be destroyed is death. And there's more.
  17. @Anna I know there is a guy by the name of Daniel who is a Jehovah's Witnesses and he had a lot to say about the matter. When I have the time to look up his blog posts I will just list them here for you. @Srecko Sostar You have Secular Law and Religious Law. Not all the time, if any chance given, such crosses paths with each other.
  18. @James Thomas Rook Jr. God isn't ignoring anything, he is and always is watching, it is up to us of ho we do things with our free will and time, decisions and whatnot. For he knows what he will do when he informs his Christ to return. Masturbation and Pornography has been around as far back as ancient Egypt, perhaps even further back so I wouldn't stop at Victorian Era/Age, granted we know even during those times, immortality was not only high, but obvious. Prostitution was pretty much riddled to your left and right: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victorian_era#Morality Other than that, anything that pertains to Sexual Immortality is indeed Sexual Immortality, any unclean ideas and or thoughts, etc, mainly when you live in a society of which sex sells. For instance, New York, specifically Manhattan, there are people allowed to roam about in their birthday suits, be it male and or female, and they sport body paint on a small portion of their body, this same area is where children, police, and other grown adults roam and it is the Time Square area. So among your Mickey Mouses, Wolverines, Spidermans, Marios and Woodys from Toy's Story, you will have a small few of nudist that are in the area and to anyone who is fighting with trying to stop practicing sexual immortality, they can relapse later on just by the sight of such ones in the crowd, mainly if so and so is been trying to avoid such for merely a few days so far. But New York is but one of many, many examples, for you have the real world and the virtual world that consist of immorality that anyone can stumble upon, far worse if it is a young person who gets caught in that problem. That being said, such an addiction is not easy for some to break away from. Think of it as this way - it is like trying to break free from chains. As for your video it is hard to laugh at that when this community, with those who actually have the same goals here (ironically none of that Trinitarian vs. Non-Trinitarian here, just everyone vs. Sexual Immortality), exist: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFapChristians/ (This is just but one branch of the olive tree too)
  19. Unfortunately it is not of any of the older sources, and was never written by John, hence such a passage is not authentic. This is why God himself said in Deuteronomy 4:2: You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you. And his Son Jesus stated in John 10:35b: and Scripture cannot be broken— The references: Deuteronomy 12:32, Proverbs 30:5, 6, Revelations 22:18, 19. Let's put John in modern day. If John was a chef and he made Pizzas with sausage and pepperoni, his signature style. If someone came in and try to emulate and prepare a Pizza similar to John. changing it up and adding on something new, removing what John put, clearly the Pizza isn't of John's design - not the best example, but a slight bit of the point made. That being said, you can like the passage all you want, but regardless of what you think, opinion and or feeling, it is not authentic and such you cannot say is true when it is spurious. The worse thing you can do is confront an advanced Bible reading Christian/Muslim who is educated on this and say this is an authentic verse, you'll only be met with a powerful critique. Therefore John 7:53-8:11 is not Bible Canon, the same can be said of Mark 16:9-20. NOTE: There are two passages (both 12 verses long) that continue to appear in the main text of most of the modern versions, but distinguished in some way from the rest of the text, such as being enclosed in brackets or printed in different typeface or relegated to a footnote. These are passages which are well supported by a wide variety of sources of great antiquity and yet there is strong reason to doubt that the words were part of the original text of the Gospels. In the words of Philip Schaff, "According to the judgment of the best critics, these two important sections are additions to the original text from apostolic tradition." The JWs are also and have been aware of this also: The earliest authoritative manuscripts do not have the passage from Joh 7:53 to 8:11. These 12 verses were obviously added to the original text of John’s Gospel. (See App. A3.) They are not found in the two earliest available papyri containing the Gospel of John, Papyrus Bodmer 2 (P66) and Papyrus Bodmer 14, 15 (P75), both from the second century C.E., nor are they found in the Codex Sinaiticus or Codex Vaticanus, both from the fourth century C.E. They first appear in a Greek manuscript from the fifth century (Codex Bezae) but are not found in any other Greek manuscripts until the ninth century C.E. They are omitted by most of the early translations into other languages. One group of Greek manuscripts places the added words at the end of John’s Gospel; another group puts them after Lu 21:38. That this portion appears at different places in different manuscripts supports the conclusion that it is a spurious text. Scholars overwhelmingly agree that these verses were not part of the original text of John. The Muslims also gave some info/Da'wah on this also: There are 267 Greek manuscripts, which are the earliest versions, and are considered the most important by textual analysts, and none of those 267 contain this passage. Newer Bibles that were compiled, and wrote after the more ancient manuscripts were discovered, either omit the passage or add a note along with the passage, stating it was not found in the more ancient manuscripts..... Now, should we follow the words of Jesus in Matthew, which has foundation in manuscripts, or do we follow the words of Jesus in verses not found in the ancient manuscripts? Which is the more logical answer? The pericope of the adulteress is easily a corruption invented later and inserted into the Bible. Any Dawah material regarding the omitted verses are insanely critical, read at your own risk, since you like that passage. I'd also like to mention Misc: https://christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/46748/why-do-some-bible-translations-omit-john-753-811 https://christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/3506/was-jesus-and-the-woman-taken-in-adultery-in-st-john-a-later-addition-and-do The CSE community is a mixed bag so you are bound to find something. As I had spoken to your friend, Witness, a while back who tried to use a typo against me when every thing I say is adhering to Textual Criticism, regardless of what you think, you should be very careful with spurious text and are actual persons who are of the extreme who act upon said spurious text. You being acceptive of such only proves here that may most likely accept all spurious text if you accept this one, for anyone does are met with those who adhere to Textual Criticism, some far more strict than others - the irony here is you tend to use the JW's Bible and still fail to see this, mind you, that Bible even tells you in the footnotes as in WHY such things are omitted, clearly;[hence what is noted above]. This is true, but in Peter's case he is witnessing an injustice, and was one among the others who took action. Peter, who had fled immediately after, also goes further than that, to keep watch over those who took Jesus, but he does so at a distance, for who knows what the mob would have done to him if he had been compromised, most likely kill him. Again, we do not see anything regarding temptation here.
  20. Stay focused, you are being asked right now. Everyone knows what temptation is and when and where such things take place in the Bible, for instance, Eve, Joseph, David, etc with examples being negative and or positive, Jesus himself had been tempted by the Devil, but the Son of the true God prevailed, even uttering the Law of what is written. That being said, what you have stated still does not answer the question. If you are going about the word itself and or anything regarding Temptation, why bring up Luke 22:36-38 in the first place and or Peter? The verse and references even tells you that [1] An act of injustice has been done [2] the Disciples themselves knows of the injustice when they came to take Jesus away, Peter included [3] Before anything could be done prior to the arrest of Jesus, he taught the disciples a vital lesson. I'll ask you again, in simple terms, where are you drawing temptation from? Symbolic in terms of lesson professed by Jesus, however the action done by Peter is also literal. Peter himself did what he did because he himself knew what was being done was an act of injustice. For instance, I can lie to the police and say you are a thief, as well as a violent person, anything to get you arrested when such is untrue, the police goes to your home and apprehends you, and any relative of yours will say and or do something to prevent what is going on, but what is done is done until real justice is done, since I brought up the lie, I will be held accountable in this example. Back to the passage at hand. The disciples saw and was in direct line of sight of the angry mob who came to take Jesus away, and they suggested and asked if they should fight, better didn't wait around to find out and took action, he acted. With a sword in hand, he took aim at one of the people among the mob and the result was the cutting off one man’s ear with a single sword stroke, Peter's intent was to do some real damage (mind you, he's a fisherman who is capable of basic swordplay), but he was stopped, reproved by Jesus, he [Jesus] said to him "Put up again thy sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Unlike the others, Peter had soon abandoned Jesus, he thereafter followed the mob from a distance, apparently torn between fear for his own life and his deep concern as to what would happen to friend and teacher, Jesus. As we can see, nothing regarding temptation was at play here. I believe you have been corrected on this before and even given some examples, other than that, it has nothing to the passage in question, let alone nothing to do with temptation regarding the arresting of Jesus. This is correct. The Jehovah's Witnesses, as do may have omitted the verses from the Bible and yet people attack anyone with a revised version that omits such verses are often attacked and or ridiculed. Jehovah's Witnesses/Bible Students use to use the KJV Bible, but never have they made use of the spurious text. Other Christians as well as Muslims, who take Bible Hermeneutics seriously, also avoid using spurious text. Also Biblehub and Gateway are websites that you can checkout to see what is omitted and what is not. The King James Version (KJV and or NKJV) of the Bible, and or anything in regards to Textus Receptus and or the TR 1245. Surprisingly one of the few things I agree with you on - a bit rare compared to your friend who has no idea what difference is there in the interlinear Bibles, of which he/she has been corrected on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_and_the_woman_taken_in_adultery https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_New_Testament_verses_not_included_in_modern_English_translations#John_7:53-8:11 I myself, personally, do not like the changes and or spurious text from the KJV, hence why I do not use it otherwise it would cause confusion. If anything some draw example from some verses and or passages. That being said, I have always been critical of the KJV and or anything in relation with TR1245. Although I have a lot to learn still, this is among the basic things hat people should be aware of. My only great issue is with people who confuse Jesus for God, or saying the Holy Spirit is a separate being, and these same people who back up such doctrine with spurious text and or passages, as well as Bible Canons are are false - such things irks me and I will speak critically.
  21. At times cold showers don't always work. What needs to be done is keeping yourself busy with other things, or find new hobbies, read more, be around people, friends and family members and or others because being alone is the worse thing that can happen when those thoughts come to mind, but when you keep yourself busy with other things, the chance of avoiding masturbation and pornography is increased. True it isn't easy for some, there are those who if see a woman or man, they are immediately triggered. In the anti-masturbation community, there are those who avoid going to the beach because they would see someone in a bathing-suit, which will trigger them, others who try to o their best to do other things while at the same time flee from what is fueling the temptation to act upon fleshy desires. Going to the gym is another method of avoiding the habit, but at the same time, the guy would have to avoid all the Beckys in the Gym, while the girl have to avoid all the Tylers in the gym, it isn't easy, but what helps some is listening to music as they workout. But 100% of the time when one actually kicks the habit, they become better people, even feel better and by means of their experience they help others. Another problem is in today's society, sex sells, and it is all over the place, advertised, on the TV, in the books, even video games, speaking about video games, most Japanese game developers (I'm looking at you Tomonobu Itagaki) tend to add lewd and or inappropriate contain to the games, so it may not be the violence and or difficult of a game that gets someone, it is the inappropriate sexual immortality in the game itself that will cause some problems, and knowing how Japan is, they have a culture and community that is centered around sexual immortality. What adds more fuel to the fire is hackers, they tend to add pornographic imagery to a game that can cause a young one or a teen to later explore such things without warning, examples here, a Super Mario game being affected by hackers: https://www.polygon.com/2018/6/22/17494552/nintendo-switch-hack-super-mario-odyssey-luigis-balloon-world And there is yet ANOTHER problem, the dark side of the internet whereas anything that EXIST (literally anything) will be turned into something very very inappropriate, so it is all over the place, so one has to avoid pornography as well as masturbation like the plague. So we have to be very very careful, granted that the internet is accessible by anyone, anytime, anywhere.
  22. @James Thomas Rook Jr. Depends on the person. I've seen and met those who literally deaden such desires totally and think very ill of those who subject themselves to such. The big thing is, one who is in suffering of such a problem, they have to combat it. It comes back over and over again and it is up to that person to conquer this fleshy desire. It is not an easy fight either, mainly for those that are deep in it as if they are chained by the immorality. There was a nice quote I read somewhere, wish I remembered it, but it will come to me when I recall it in regards to this. But yeah, I've seen and talked to people who are broken by this addiction and trying to piece themselves back together, it is not a pretty sight.
  23. @Srecko Sostar In some cases, it is both. They fall under the same category, as is with other things pertaining to masturbation and viewing of pornography.
  24. Somehow he is coming up with temptation. If anything, Peter himself sees the situation as a complete injustice against Jesus, only then Jesus taught him and the other a vital lesson. But in Srecko's eyes, Peter seeing injustice is somehow temptation - of which still remains to be seen.
