Patiently waiting for Truth

I have read Revelation many times. We 'studied' that Revelation book at least three times in the 'ye olde book study' of a Tuesday evening. But i think that book has been d/fed now . I'm now trying to read the Greek Scriptures, word for word, not rushing through. I don't expect to understand much because I'm not Anointed, but reading scripture is relaxing and does help me to reason on life and living.

Don't twist my words Elder. There in no organisation serving God properly right now, BUT, that does not mean there are no 'people' serving God properly right now. However YOUR GB tell the Anointed NOT TO GATHER TOGETHER. So who is at fault there ? As a side note : When Russell 'ruled' the Watchtower, he said there was no need for an organisation. And he was the foundation of your Org. Quote "The reason you give is that they are all imperfect." I never gave that reason. That is you twisting words Elder. You see Elder, you are just a servant of the GB and the Org, and your words here prove that. I think it is very sad that you find it necessary to twist my words. But unfortunately the GB & Co have brainwashed you to a point where you do not recognise truth anymore it seems. Either that or you prefer to put lies in the place of truth.

I've just started reading Revelation. This time I'm trying to concentrate on every word. An old, wise, Elder once said to me, "Every thing in the Bible is there for a reson. It's not just to take up space". Revelation chapter One. v5 & 6 To him who loves us and who set us free from our sins by means of his own blood— 6 and he made us to be a kingdom, priests to his God and Father—yes, to him be the glory and the might forever. Amen. So this is to the Anointed ones. v 7 & 8.... Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and those who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief because of him. Yes, Amen.8 “I am the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga,” says Jehovah God, “the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.” Now this confuses me a bit. Verse 7 is talking about Jesus. It says He is coming with the clouds. But verse 8 is talking about GOD, and it says 'and who is coming'. So, are they both coming ? If so how ? Also verse 8 says, “I am the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga,” says Jehovah God" which is fully understandable as Almighty God has always existed and always will. But verse 17 says, "And he laid his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, And this is Jesus speaking So God is the Alpha and the Omega, and Jesus is the First and the Last. This will need some explaining. I've said that i understand the bit about God, but I'm not sure about the bit concerning Jesus Jesus was of course God's First creation..... But in what way is Jesus the Last ?

This arguement has been used before. Tom has said this. My opinion is that no organisation is serving God properly right now. This had happened before in the times of the Nation of Israel. When Israel was in captivity, being punished for not serving God properly, there was no other nation that was serving God either. So, there was no where for anyone to go then, just as there is no where for people to gather together right now.... But I have suggested that Almighty God, through Jesus Christ, will 'raise up' (make known) a True Anointed remnant, and they will be used by Holy Spirit, to either cleanse the JW Org, or to start a new organisation. Hence I have said that Armageddon wil not be for, maybe, ten years. Yes of course, God could do it in ten minutes if He wanted to. But I honestly think that God and Christ are holding back the Holy Spirit as punishment on the Watchtower / JW Org, and that there will be a process of cleansing or removal of the Org. It seems to me a bit like a father may give his child some money, and if the child spends that money wisely the father may give the child some more. But if that child wastes the money, then the father will hold back any more money he may have given. Now this could be to the point that if the child seriously abused the generosity of the father, then the father may take away all the good things that child has. The child of course will be worse off because of their disrespect and disobedience of thier father. So it seems to be with the Leaders of the Watchtower and JW org. They disrespect the Father and the Son.

You are good for a laugh. So is good old Tom. JW's serve the Watchtower / JW Org. They do not serve God through Jesus Christ. JW's stand (or did) at a cart / trolly full of GB dictated literature. Now that is serving the GB / Org. ... JWs used to go door to door with similar GB dictated literature, amd JWs do, so called, Bible studies, but again with GB dictated books. It is all based on GB, uninspired indeas. It's what the 'world' would call propaganda. As for the roadmap, it changes every couple of years, direction and length.

No, it's Empathy I've answered this many times but you and others don't like my answer. The Watchtower / JW Org is not supposed to be like any other group. It is suposed to be 'God's chosen Org'. It would be like me, if I wanted to compare myself, to make myself feel good. I'd compare myself to a drug addict, an alcoholic or a murderer. I could then say, Well I'm better than them. You and other JWs are doing just that with the Org. You are comparing it to things that you know are worse. Of course the JW Org is better than a whorehouse. now try comparing the JW Org to God's standards. You will find it fails miserably. Physically in - spiritually out. BUT that creates a problem. What will you preach or teach to others ? Will you teach GB speak, or will you teach truth ? That was one of the problems i faced because the GB / Watchtower goes beyond the things written. This breaks down into a couple of things. Firstly I have NO interest in politics and NO interest in this idea of pigeonholing / name calling. "zeitgest of marxist-post-modernism" Secondly. Lumping all JW's together as if they had a collective responsibility over actions others have taken (etc) All JWs do have the responsibility because they follow the insrtutions of the GB, through the Watchtower and through the Elders. They are taught to no longer BE individuals. As an example, when I've asked an Elder about a certain point in scripture, he has said to me, I'll have to look at how the organisation sees this. He would not give me HIS individual opinion. And when there is action to be taken it is done inline with GB / Watchtower insructions. Everything preached is by order of the GB / Watchtower. There is not supposed to be any individuals in the JW org. There are only sheep. The problem is that their shepherds are not serving God. You try to be clever and to mix so much up in one ortwo sentances. You fail. The ordinary congregant has two chioce, as i found. Stay in and put up with it, or, leave. As for you, you are one Elder, so I wish you well in sorting out your own congregation. But you'll probs not be looking to see where the problems are, as you say you just let things go by.

I just asked if his comment was related to that topic. I don't care how much booze the GB buy. I actully thought the booze topic was not necessary. Lets examine this : Believe me, I understand the feeling. Do you ? What feeling do you understand ? Being abused as a child ? Being called a liar by the Elders of a congragation ? Being D/fed for complaining about yourself or your child being sexually abused ? So which of those things do you understand ? But the organization isn't the issue That is your own opinon. My opinion and the opinion of many other people is that the Org Leaders over many years are to blame. which after a time we realize from viewing many who leave for one reason stay away from God altogether I would suggest that JWs do not have any idea what 'many who leave' do after they have left. As the ones that leave are totally shunned then how do JWs know what they are doing. Do you go around spying on ex-JWs ? Do you know if ex-JWs pray or study the Bible in their homes, in private ? TTH uses this idea lot, but does he go spying on ex-JWS, I doubt it. This stupid brainwashing from the ORG, that people who leave the Org turn against God. And JWs fall for this brainwashing. Oh dear. Are you impatient ? I'm not. The longer it goes on, maybe the better. It gives more time for God, through Christ, to sort out a clean organsation to serve Him. It also gives more people time to serve God properly. And, if conditons get much worse it may help other people to see the contrast between good and evil. So, more time can be a good thing. It has been proven many times that Elders and Ministerial Servants have sexually abused young children in the congregatoins. But TTH is in denial. However TTH points at other religions and blames them, BUT TTH also has said that other religions don't have any records of such things ?????????? So, there are no records but TTH 'knows' that the leaders of other religions are to blame. Whereas there ARE records in each country, of the JW sexual abuse. Oh dear, where are the GB and their Lawyers hiding that 25 year Pedophile database ??? And why are they hiding it ? I've no idea who this HF is. But, TTH seems to like them. Vendetta. Um, is that what Jesus had against the Pharisees ? I think not. I do worry, seriously, about how JWs have had their 'natural affection' switched off by the GB and it's Org. How JWs can treat victims of CSA as just being collateral damage. All the 'dirt' swept under the carpet just to keep the Watchtower / Org 'alive'. Really ??? I think not. I think it's ex-JWs that have brought it out into the open. They have helped to get it into the courtrooms. Ex JWs have been the reason that the Shepherding book has been revised, though of course you won't admit to that. Ex-JWs opened up the biggest 'can of worms' possible in the JW Org. And that is why people like TTH and others hate ex JWs.

BUT could it affect the Watchtower / JW Org ? In honesty I can see some practical reasons for bringing in tighter restrictions, but of course it is worrying that it might be misused.

Stopping the door to door work probably stopped a lot of exercise for JWs. I used to love the door to door out in our Devon countryside around the farms. Of course I believed the message then so it was a good feeling too. But exercise equipment is cheap enough so no real excuse to stop exercising. I have a stepper, a sit up bar that fits under a door, a chin up bar which fits into a doorway, all cheap and chearful stuff. I have a skipping rope too, but tend to hit the light bulb on the ceiling .

I laugh at you JWs trying to clear your own conscience, just so that you can continue your 'comfort zone' way of life. Your social club. For that's what it is. Well it has in some ways. It's given me a better conscience, but of course I have a long way to go to have a good conscience. I have also spent more time in personal Bible study, but of course there is so much that I don't understand. I think that is because the Bible is meant for the Anointed not so much the Earthly class. But it is good for basic guidance. I have purchased one other study bible and intend to purchase the new Berean Study bible when it is released in March. the idea is to read each and to compare. Well it will encourage me to read a Bible even more. I have been able to post information online about the CSA problem Earthwide in the Watchtower / JW Org, which I wouldn't have done if I'd stayed in the Org. (That would have been hypocritical) The reason for posting it was to warn others of the Pedophilia, but also to warn JWs that people in the world know about it. The warning for JWs was to say that they might get abuse or attacked because of the news about the CSA. (I think this has happened in America). I was hoping that many more people would leave the Org but it seems, as I've said, that congregants are just 'turning away' so as not to see the immorality or false teachings. I comment on here also to warn people of the Pedophilia and to give encouragement to others that have left the Org. So yes, it has strengthened my faith in God through Christ because I'm not leaning on other humans. The 'isolation' from being shunned hasn't bothered me because i have a lovely wife and a great son to share all my time with. I do feel sadness for those that are totally alone physically even though they may feel closer to God and Christ.

Well one big problem is that 'boots on the ground' JWs can do nothing to solve the problems in the JW Org. A. The problems start from the very top of the Org, and they are not interested in listening to 'ordinary congregants'. I've written to London Bethel. They basically told me to mind my own business and talk to the local Elders if I have problems. B. It is basically 'forbidden' to express one's concerns within the congregation, as it will be treated as 'Causing a division within the congregation', which is a disfellowshipping offence. I was able to discuss a few things privately with a few brothers individually, but not as a group. I did exactly that. I had complete control over whether I be in or out of an immoral Organisaton that was/is controlled by dishonest leaders. And I used my 'energies' to tell people why I was leaving, and then to leave. Of course I could have remained in the Org, and 'turned away' / 'walked on the other side of the road', ignored the victims, and of course kept silent. But my Christian trained conscience would not have been happy.

What this Elder is really saying is, Turn away, Walk on the other side of the Road, ignore the victims, who after all are just Collateral Damage. What this Elder forgets is, it was a Samaritan, an outsider, that helped. Now why would Jesus do that, use an outsider in His example ? Was Jesus saying that outsiders care more for people than those who are too busy on the inside ? And what this Elder also forgets is that Jesus made it clear that it was important to show up hypocrites for what they really are. And the Apostle Paul, too, made such things clear. Meditate on what it means to have a CLEAN organisation.

Show us proof of this please. Witness is concerned for the welfare of the Anointed ones. You, it seems, are not. You seem to be such a 'physical man' that you seem to lack any feeling for the Anointed as spiritual ones. They physically gather together because the GB are mostly Americans and all in America. The difference being that they will be replaced by ones of God's choosing through Christ. You still keep looking at men choosing men. Still so physical. Wake up, think in a spiritual way. God and Christ are not physical.... Um, let me think now. Who is ruling now ? Oh yes, the GB, who say they are Anointed. Those 8 men that say they are the ONLY Faithful and Discreet Slave. Those 8 men that say that 'God and Christ trusts them, so the whole JW congregation should trust them'. Yes that's who's ruling now.

John Butler was removed for suggesting that the GB might be removed and replaced. Then Billy the Kid twisted it that John Butler was threatening the GB. That upset some JW Elders here and it was taken as fact without any proof being required. John Butler was not even given one warning. He was just removed. But this is all totally off topic.

It is sad to see how so many JWs have been brainwashed by the GB through the Watchtower magazine and through the talks / videos etc. If you don't want to believe in the scripture at Zechariah 8:23 that is your choice. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, 'Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.'" The True Anointed ones are that JEW. Each of you must choose whom you will 'go with'. Yes, we serve God through Christ, but God is here showing that there IS a JEW, a True Anointed, to go with. How will you know that JEW if you do not inquire ?
