Physically yes, as proven by the fact they can be put to death in the flesh. But on the inside they are spirit persons. As the apostle Peter made clear. They are happy to cast off thier physical body to move on to something far greater. The problem is, us humans can only see physical things with our physical eyes. But in my opinion the True Anointed can see the spiritual things too. They have to know they have that heavenly calling and they have to know exactly what it is.

I hope you can see here that the apostle Peter is saying he is not just human. He is saying that his body is only a tent or tabernacle, a covering, a human life encasing a spiritual one. Peter was awaiting the time for this 'outer covering' to be removed.

However, this is where I am trying to go beyond what I am suppose to understand. I am not annointed, so not entitled to know. It does mean that the True Annointed WOULD NOT ERR in matters of interpretation or doctrine. Hence it shows that the GB / helpers / Watchtower / et al, are not of the True Anointed. Why would God annoint a person then feed that person lies ? It's complete contradiction. God and Christ might hold back information until a chosen time, but not feed false information to the anointed. Another thought. Why would they be annointed early on, if they were not going to be used NOW ? Why wouldn't God just watch them through their lives and then annoint them upon their death when they had proven worthy ?

Yes, the True Anointed Remnant are not men and women in one sense. They no longer belong to this earth. So they have no reason to want things of this earth or of this life. I think the apostle Paul made it clear at one point that he was ready to give up his earthly life for a much better life as a spirit person, but that he realised he had to stay alive as a human to encourage others and help build congregations. God does not see then as 'men and women'. God sees them as spirit persons, and spirit persons have no gender. Jesus said that he was no part of this world andthat his disciples were no part ofthis world either. So, whilst we as humans, may look and see the True Anointed Remnant as humans, God and Christ see them as spirit persons. They are part of the body of Christ. But you will chalenge this because you are a 'physical' person and can only understand physical things. Whereas servants of God through Christ, are more 'spiritual' people and can understand both the spiritual and the physical things. As a side note: I think the GB of the Watchtower are physical people and cannot understandspiritual things.

And this is why we need the True Anointed Remnant. Because without them we cannot know the true meaning of scripture. But i am past trying to converse with athiests. There is enough probem proving the GB/Watchtower/JW org wrong on many things. I have no idea where athiests stop calling people liars. Why ? Because if you don't believe in the Hebrew writings, then you can't believe in the Greek writings. Because the Greek writings quote from and make reference to the Hebrew writings. And if you don't believe the Greek, then maybe you don't believe Josephus or Pliny or other historians. So you see, i don't bother with athiests. And as for believing 'scientists', they are only men and women. They get paid for results. And he who pays the piper calls the tune.

I suppose the real issue is Faith. it's like the issue of Mary / a virgin birth. The point being that if you believe Almighty God created the Heavens and the Earth, then you will also believe that, that same God can do anything with it, that pleases Him. And if you believe that the Hebrew scriptures are 'inspired of God', then why would you want to call God a liar ? FAITH. Faith in the things unseen. But it seems, once again, that many of you prefer to have your ears tickled by the words of men. And the 'emperors new clothes' issue comes into play also. Some of you have fear of men, so you want to look 'clever' in the eyes of others. Please yourselves, either believe God or believe men. But remember that your life depends on it, and possibly the lives of your family too.

As I cannot see any organisation serving God properly right now, then no Bible will have had the guidance of God's Holy Spirit. However, to produce a Bible in people's own language, is a good thing, in my eyes. If God, in His mercy, wishes to guide a person through His written word, and through Jesus Christ, then I think that any copy of the Bible would be suitable. As for worshipping Jesus Christ, I think not. I worship God, through Christ. Berean Study Bible John 16 v 23 Jesus said to the Anointed, In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. The prayers go to God not to Christ.

You are proving yourself to be a complete joke Tom. You spent ages insulting me for bringing up this topic, now it's you that revive it. Lets get serious. Persecution for serving God (OR pretending to serve God), is completely different to people hating CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE. Trying to cover up the CSA problem, which still exists, by bringing in the persecution of JWs elsewhere, does nothing but make you look sly and silly. It is horrible that anyone is physically persecuted in any way. My wife showed me a video of female children being persecuted, just for being female, in China. Thrown into 'orphanages', tied to chairs, these tiny young girls, persecuted just for being female. Hundreds of people, maybe thousands, are persecuted daily, in different places, for different things. Many people of different religions are constantly persecuted, BUT, this has nothing to do with CSA. The Myth about CSA in the JW community is that the Victims have been treated fairly or with mercy and love. The truth about CSA in the JW community is that the Elders are believed, above the Victims. Which means, when an Elder is the Paedophile, he gets away with it, unless the Victim / victim's family, takes it to the Police / Authorities. Add to this that Elders HAVE claimed Clergy Penitent Privilege, whilst pretending not to be clergy. GB lawyers HAVE lied in courts. And is that 25 + Year Database still being kept hidden in America ? On this subject, last year in February, there was a rumour about the GB being ordered to appear in court on charges 'relating to' CSA. The Covid-19 happened and it all seemed to go quiet ????????? Any update on this court appearance ? The CSA in the JW community earth wide is still a serious problem. It must still be a big stumbling block for many people and we know what, Luke 17 : 1 & 2 say about stumbling blocks. By the way, I presume Tom was just bored or had nothing intelligent to write, so he revived this topic.

I don't know if you have accidently or deliberately side tracked on my comment. I did not even mention the CSA problem in my comment. My comment was more about the Leaders of the Watchtower Soc / Org being puffed up with pride, and running in front of God and Christ, to declare that they knew the 'day and the hour', many times. As for some “American scholar of religion Holly Folk " having any importance, I think not. Americans are born and bred on a diet of 'collateral damage'. That's what they know, that's what they live by. That is one reason the Leaders of a True Organisation serving God, cannot be all American. Let's say the British Government have murdered thousands of people in wars over the years. So in the opinion of Holly Folk it would be fine if I murdered only a few people then ? Child Sexual Abuse is as bad as murder in God's eyes. But of course 'Holly Folk' is not a spiritual person. Neither is anyone that says CSA is ok in small numbers. CSA is NEVER OK. BUT remember Tom, it wasn't me that started on this subject, it was YOU. Back to your comment. This is a serious problem with the Leaders of the Watchtower and the CCJW. Your leaders pretend to know the things they, in reality, have no idea about. If they stuck to basic Bible truth they might actually start to serve God properly. Hence I admit to not understanding the Bible fully, as the Bible was written for the True Anointed, not for me.

Please relate this to the Leaders of the Watchtower from it's begining. I doubt you bothered to note my topic on the wonderful increase of languages that the Watchtower has achieved. The more Bibles in the more languages, the better. Fantast achievement. Now, compare that with the false teachings of the Watchtower. The false predections. We don't need to mention years or specifics here because you and all others already know. But, you surely can see how it relates to your comment. Those Watchtower leaders thought so much of themselves that they presumed they had the right to run ahead of God and Christ, to predict Armageddon on so many occasions. Still questioning the name Jehovah, i had a thought, as per the heading. The name Jehovah was well known, a long time before the JWs invented themselves. And it seems the leaders knew that YAHWEH was favoured by most Hebrew scholars. INSIGHT ON THE SCRIPTURES Correct Pronunciation of the Divine Name. “Jehovah” is the best known English pronunciation of the divine name, although “Yahweh” is favored by most Hebrew scholars. The oldest Hebrew manuscripts present the name in the form of four consonants, commonly called the Tetragrammaton (from Greek te·tra-, meaning “four,” and gramma, “letter”). These four letters (written from right to left) are and may be transliterated into English as YHWH (or, JHVH). The Hebrew consonants of the name are there. We know, of course, that the name Jehovah was in use since the 15th Century, and is found in many old Bibles. BUT, my point is, that the Leaders of the Bible Students did not know the true translation / transliteration of YHWH when they chose Jehovah. They chose what was already popular. It was an advertising gimick, not for God, but for the Org. It would bring in people and that would mean bringing in money. Some on here will say it has now been 'proven' to be Jehovah, but I say how so ? Are you still worshipping men that you believe the words of men ? Show me proof of Almighty God's Holy Spirit changing YHWH into Jehovah. Or is it still an advertising gimick ? Will people say, 'Oh look, they are using ' God's ' name, they must be the right religion'. The old saying, 'tell a lie enough times and people will start to believe it'

This is so funny. BUT, the Watchtower / JW Org was built on, deliberaterly putting down other religions. In fact it still happens even on here. JWs on here compare the Org to other religions, big time. CSA being a 'case en pointe'. Other comparisons being : the trinity, war, dead go to heaven, et al. As TTH says, why even mention them as they are wrong anyway ? Did they really teach non Christians, false teachings ? Nothing much has canged there then.

Yep very true. And JWs have been fools for over 100 years. Why ? Because they have believed every word of the Watchtower leaders. Well they must have either believed or knowingly followed lies, which is it ? Going door to door with lies from the leaders of the Watchtower. Just acting as postmen or delivery agents, delivering a 'message'. 1914, 1970's, berore the end of the century, last hour of the last day, must be baptised JW, and many more failed messages. Yes like you say Tom, fools believe it all. But some of us are wise enough to 'wake up' and to consider our steps.

Oh dear not that old record again. The whole Watchtower / GB / JW org seems to pivot on that one false belief of 1914. In scripture we read at Matthew 28 :18 - 20 English Standard Version 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” So there you have Jesus' words. 33C.E. Not 1914. And when will your GB get baptism right ? Once again the words of Jesus. "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," NOT in the name of JW Org.

The disciples of Christ had the Hebrew scriptures. Ah but they had more, they had the direct words of Jesus himself. They were also anointed of God's Holy Spirit. So what of today ? Well we have the 'Bible' 'in full', but translated by probably hundreds of different people, in many different ways. Most people (hopefully) have a reasonable education and therefore can read, and hopefully have a printed Bible available, or internet access. But what more is necessary ? With Bible knowledge one can build faith in God, and with prayer one can upbuild that faith. But what more is needed ? I'm asking because this forum is becoming an arguement centre of those that think they have superior knowledge. It's also becoming a place of insults and ridicule. Even some (so called ) JW's here are arguing with each other. So, I'm asking, how much knowledge is realy important ? We have the other problem of course. It would be realy good if people that lacked true knowledge about God and Christ could find truthful advice and teaching. But there is no 'God inspired' knowledge being given to anyone right now, or so it seems. Those arguing on this forum are quoting 'men' not God. There are scriptures that advise people not to argue over dates and times. There are also scriptures that tell us to be humble. And I keep looking for some 'spiritual' content on this forum but I see none. But then in the past I looked in JW organisation for spiritual content and found none. The idea of keeping awake and keeping on the watch has only led to false predictions. Each person 'keeps on the watch' in their own way. The JW org does the same. Time 'may' move along quickly soon, and we may find ourselves without any organised 'religion' then our faith will be between each person and God through Christ. However I have my own idea what will happen first, but for those that just put their faith in the GB and the Org, what will they do once it's gone ? Will any of the arguing on here upbuild your faith or mine ? I doubt it. I think it is the devil's way of dividing people that are looking to serve God. So i think it more important to be sure of the very basic teachings of God's word, not to be so worried about dates or years. I think if we live long enough we will know when the end is here.

In truth though, has God ever allowed humans to rule themselves ? Who is the ruler of this 'world' ? Satan the devil. He even told Jesus that he had authority over the world, because he offered all the kingdoms to Jesus as a bribe. So humans have always had a ruler over them. Firstly it was God, then it was/is Satan.
