Once again Arauna gets her mind mxed up. Firstly she tries in a sly way to bame me for the sins of others. Secondly she pretends that the Watchtower's / GB's rules, are God's laws. Then her highlight, she pretends that leaving the Watchtower / JW Org is the same as leaving God and Christ. Of course she is misguided on all of it.

@TrueTomHarley I honestly cannot make any sense from your sarcastic comment so I will try to break it down to reason on it. online hate campaign Romans 12 :9 "Love must be sincere. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good." I hate what should be hated. But i close no doors. My wife knows that i have a love for God and Christ. She also knows the truth about the Watchtower Soc / GB / JW Org. Tom this honestly makes no sense to me. When I was a JW my behaviour was polite and loving to all in the congregation, except the Elders. I treated the Elders with caution but not rudeness. Then i did three months research, and through prayer and personal Bible study, I came to my own conclution as to what i must do. Knowing that the Elders would disapprove of my action and would announce by their 'normal method', I privately told a few brothers individually, of my plan to leave the Org, and gave them my reasons. I then emailed my resignation to as many elders as possible giving them my reasons for leaving. Your comment seems to be mixing up my time in the congregation, with my time on here. There is no connection between the two. Of course people presume that i was disfellowshipped, that is the whole idea, from your GB, to announce it from the platform as the Elders do. And this Elder that phoned my wife made it very clear that it is for that purpose. Because the Elders, taking instruction from the GB, through the ranks, are told to make it look so. is to accuse. I think what I've done in many instances, is to state facts. And in many cases I've used scripture from God's word to prove things. Jehovah’s organization. That is a matter of oppinion. The Nation of Israel was God's chosen nation, BUT we all know that said nation did not serve God properly. To the extent that they murdered Jesus Christ, and God had that Nation destroyed physically and spiritually. So just because an organisation gives itself a name that represents God, it does not mean that said organistion is serving God properly, or that said organisation has the approval of God or Christ. You mock my idea of a True Anointed, but you know that I am not anointed, nor do I pretend to be. So, i am not pushing myself forward, i am not saying I am special. Unlike the GB who DO push themselves forward by stating that only they are the F&DS, and only they are God's spokesperson on Earth, and only they should be believed, WHILST they are treading down all of their Fellow Slaves, as mentioned in scripture. There are those JW threats again, that never stop.

If you say this about me, then you also say this about my wife, because the main reason of this topic is to prove how this Elder treated my wife. It was Me that first answered the phone, but He asked to speak to my wife. If his interest was for me then he could have spoken to me directly. But he was a coward. However none of it makes me mad. I said it is of concern to me. It does however give me more grounds to distrust him and other Elders.

I am not scoffing, but when an organisation cries wolf many times and there is no wolf, then trust runs out. I know it's coming, but it's coming 'as a thief in the night' and we do not know 'the day or the hour'. So i don't think an Elder should say it is months not years. As i said we will continue to disagree. WW1 happened because of the invention of machines, vehicles, aeroplanes, bombs, machine guns, all improved weapons of war, so it made war easier and more able to cover larger areas. Lockdown is due to a virus, either man made or accidental. But lockdown is because of the knoledge of how the virus spreads and therefore trying to stop it. I will not read into things to try to pretend they represent phrophecy ...........

I know that you have a vast knowledge of politics and you know much about the world, things in which i take little interest. And i know that the scriptures tell us to 'keep awake'. So I will not disagree with you on such matters. I have no idea how fast things will move. But, we will continue to disagree about what part the Watchtower / JW org will play in the outcome of things.

That is so funny . Then it seems you believe he has the authority to condemn me. Why would i need to 'have a change of heart' about the sins commited by the GB and all those supporting the GB ? Arauna, I love God and Christ, but i do not need to be judged by Elders of the Watchtower / JW org. It seems that 'time has been running out' since 1914 according to the Watchtower / JW Org. Of course i believe in the coming Judgement / Armageddon, because that is from scripture, not from the GB / Org. But it is not the Elder's place to pretend he knows when the End is coming. My wife may be deeply worried now when she really has no need to worry. My faith is in God through Christ, and that is how I will be judged.

I have added a bit to my original comment to show that the Elder actually said Armageddon is only months away not years away. And no, i hadn't read your comment before adding that point. But, point 1, you obviously didn't bother to read what i wrote. He upset my wife and that is what bothers me. For myself I just laugh at it all. Point 2. When a person is disfellowshipped it is 'supposed to be' for sinning against God and not being repentant. Whereas he knows the true reason i left the immoral organisation of JWs. It is the GB and their supporting JWs that sin against God much more than i do. I ask forgiveness of my sins through prayer to God through Christ, so God or Christ can judge me. I don't need JW Elders to judge me. Point 3. I have no need to be concerned of his feelings. My wife has now told me that she no longer wishes to converse with any JW that may phone, and I am able to stand my ground with any of them. I can be polite but assertive because i know that they have no authority from God or Christ. Point 4. Just because you have no faith does not mean that things cannot be achieved by God through Christ. The world is wicked enough for God to destroy it right now, but there is no True Organisation serving God properly. Do you ever read scripture ? Do you ever have spiritual thoughts ? Luke 19 : 39 & 40 However, some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to him: “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” 40 But in reply he said: “I tell you, if these remained silent, the stones would cry out.” Ye of little faith, Tom and others. God will always provide exactly what is needed. A True Anointed to serve Him through Christ. Not elders that threaten women on the phone.

This is of no concern to me BUT it did upset my wife. And when an Elder upsets my wife THAT IS of concern to me. An Elder phoned today asking to speak to my wife. I called my wife to the phone then I left the room. The phone conversation was quite long and during that conversation the Elder said to my wife that I am disfellowshipped. My wife replied that I wasn't disfellowshipped but that i had disassociated myself from the Organisation. The Elder replied "It all means the same to us". Just think on that for a while. ........... That Elder has basically condemned me to death.... Then at the end of the phone call he said he may phone me to try to talk me into going back. Oh dear. Does he really think he has any authority from God ? But my point is, that this is PROOF positive of how Elders think and act. This is not theory, it's FACT. Elders really believe they have some authority from God, to condemn to death or to reprieve. We NEED God through Christ to provide a True Anointed remnant to guide an Organisation to serve God properly, before the Judgement arrives.. Update : Having had further conversation with my wife about the phone call, she tells me that the Elder said (concerning Armageddon) "It's not years away, it's months away". ... So it seems this Elder has special insight, he seems to know the 'day and the hour' But no. In reality it's just another threat. He was trying to frighten my wife. Such a cowardly thing to do. THIS IS HOW Elders work.

Out walking today I noticed how people are avoiding each other more then ever. They look at each other as if they do not trust each other. Of course the 'virus' may be the main problem but is it the only problem. Naming it 'social distancing' did no help, but was that done deliberately. It brought to mind the words from the scriptures 'like sheep without a shepherd'. I often think it is my 'old age' that puts fear into me. When I was young I longed for 'excitement' but now I just want 'peace and security'. It is impossible to separate happenings in this world from God's word..... 2021, a 'new year' but it will of course bring with it new problems. I am in England but I care not about Brexit or politics, I care about people. Are any of you, in any country, noticing that neighbours are distancing more or becoming more suspicious of each other ? Or is it just my frame of mind ?

Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. But this of course refers to the True Anointed, as shown in the first scripture. Now as for your "We are not supposed to look for "True Anointed" because this would make us followers of men." You already follow MEN. Because you follow your GB and the Watchtower Society. Even though you say they 'twist scripture' you continue to follow them. If you say you only follow Jesus Christ, maybe you could tell everyone HOW you follow Jesus Christ ??? From my viewpoint we won't need to look for the True Anointed because by their works we will know them. But look back at the works you describe of your previous leaders and you present GB.

'deception' = Lies and deceit. The Watchtower foundation is based on that and it continues along the same lines. BUT, I was completely innocent as a Bible Student because i wasn't aware of how to study God's word properly. However, the leaders of the Watchtower were NOT innocent because they had (or pretended to have) the Responsibility of being God's spokespersons here on Earth. This is why I could no longer preach or teach God's word to others, because I now know I have no true understanding of it. And this is where I say the scriptures are really only meant for the True Anointed. Because the True Anointed will not inherit deception. Only the True Anointed will be inspired of God's Holy Spirit so as to know truth from lies. Otherwise, what will happen ? Your Watchtower / JW Org, will advance from bad to worse with more deception and twisting of scripture. You can see hype and deception from beginning right up to our present time. what more is to be said

And you expect people to seriously believe that those men were being guided by Almighty God through Jesus Christ ? And you seriously expect people to believe that today's GB are guided by God through Christ ? You expect people to follow an Organisation that is built on lies and deceit, or even on mistake after mistake after mistake .... ? And some on here mock me when I suggest that a True Anointed are needed to guide people to truth. Reading the comments on these topics is becoming very sad. The blind leading the blind. Yes it makes for passing the time, but gives no proof of hope, no proof of the guidance of God's Holy spirit. But still you and others follow them.

To spend so much time 'researching' all that 'stuff' and so much more time arguing about it all, when it has no real purpose. 1914 has no real purpose in relation to our Christian love toward God and Christ. And no one knows the day or the hour, and a 'day' in this instance would not mean a literal day. The scriptures, especially Paul's letters, tell us not to get caught up in silly arguments. Multiple Blunders Considered Antithetical to The Faith First of all and despite its attempts to be inclusive, Blessings is fairly obviously an album aimed at the Christmas market. However, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not celebrate Christmas, believing that the festival has pagan origins. Is all of this supposed to be proving something about 1914 ? If so what exactly please ? We already know that the Kingdom existed whilst Jesus Christ was here on earth and we already know that HE had been given all Authority after His resurrection in 33 C .E. So what exactly is the point of this 43 page discussion ?

I agree with @Srecko Sostar exactly on this. @Arauna you do it every time. You bring out the faults in the people that you serve. The Governing Body 'lift themselves up' by saying only THEY are the F&DS. They 'pretend to all they are important' by pretending that are the spokesperson for God and Christ. 'because of what their job is.' but it is a job and title that they have given to themselves. Luke 14 v 11 How the 'mighty' will fall. Arauna wants to blame everyone else, whilst she blinds herself against the many faults of the GB.

I followed the advice from your first sentence a few years ago. I removed myself from the JW Organisation. And I agree with the scripture you quoted. The advice of your wicked GB / Watchtower was to keep Child Sexual Abuse hidden inside the Organisation by not reporting it to the Police or Superior Authorities. And I will not 'sit in the seat of scoffers', because I will be no part of the lies and deceit that your GB spew out. Your GB and their helpers are the ones who are in opposition to love and truth. Everything you 'throw' at others always seems to be better at describing your GB and it's many organisations.

Here in the English countryside all is good, thank you. Far enough away from the city and with a view over the fields, we spend all our time at home, only going out to buy food. Even as an ex JW, we do not celebrate the pagan festival, so we don't have any fuss and bother with getting extra things in. Life is just peaceful but a bit boring. I spend too much time on Facebook and Ebay, but i do try to read from the Bible every day. The feeling about the vaccine, here in England, is mixed. I don't want the vaccine but it may become compulsory. It's winter here and quite cold with lots of rain. It gets dark quite early in the evenings. Our central heating is good and our home is comfortable. We are very happy to have all the things we need, but I do remind my wife that one day all we have may be gone. We have much more than many people have and i thank God for our daily food and for our home. I hope you are safe and well. Christian love to you and your family.

Well I'm not a JW but there does seem to be evidence of pagan rituals in that part of December, such as worshipping the Sun. So maybe not worshipping pagan gods, but more like celebrating pagan customs. What religion is Yule? The Pagan celebration of Winter Solstice (also known as Yule) is one of the oldest winter celebrations in the world. Ancient people were hunters and spent most of their time outdoors. The seasons and weather played a very important part in their lives.

I won't bother with the video. I know that true Christians would not want to celebrate a pagan festival. I think it has been proven that Jesus was born around October time as he lived 33½ years and was killed around March / April. However giving thanks to God for sending Christ to Earth is a good thing, but it doesn't need all the pagan extras to do it.
