@Bible Speaks.......that is certainly good news to hear..........unfortunately, I do not become involved with Facebook, twitter, Instagram,etc.............I can get into enough trouble 'technologically speaking" with just my "not very smart phone" that I use for pone calls and messaging and my PC is OK for what I want, and my old Apple I Pad for witnessing...........I bought a new car a couple of weeks ago.........top of the range Subaru Impreza.........I still do not know how most of electronic technology on it works............maybe one day????

BUT had a good day nearly 7 hours on the territory  and rv's, same tomorrow......and then,as you said the Memorial.........hopefully some of those invited will attend..........guess we'll just have to wait and see???

@Bible Speaks Yes I read that article.........and "..........the Holocaust Museum is concerned about Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia!" ............also very interesting is how several other non- witnesses individuals and organisations are against what is occurring to our Brothers in the Russian Federation. 

@Bible Speaks ..............I wholeheartedly agree with you........personally I loved studying the Daniel books "Your Will Be Done on Earth"......that was my first book that I studied in 1969.....the Brother who took my study after first couple of studies made me have a "closed book study"........also the older Revelation Study books "Babylon the Great Has Fallen and "The is Finished the Mystery of God".....these were both done in the book study groups, at least twice that I can remember..........and of course we now have updated versions of both of those prophetic books........I really enjoy them.

I agree.......it is the politicians that start wars..........perhaps we could put, those who want to fight, on some island, with swords or dueling pistols and just let them "go to it"...........and leave everybody else alone???

I am not sure where Brother Lett is Witnessing..........but, I did notice, no ties...........I like that idea........especially if one is witnessing in temperatures of 35⁰C to 40⁰C+ .............many days in summer, that's what sort of temperatures we have to work in..........WITH ties...........not funny especilly when it is high humidity as well !!!!

The public talk at my meeting today was on "Babylon the Great"..........the talk was based mostly on Revelation 17 and 18.......naturally............although the speaker did not mention it, I thought boy! With events that have come to a head, particularly in the last few weeks, show how the Russian Orthodox Church fits neatly into these chapters as one of the prostitutes that make up the great harlot............those chapters of Revelation are well worth reading again, with that in view.

Jehovah would certainly view this as something disgusting..........reminds me of what evils the Israelites were doing from our weekly Bible readings in Jeremiah.

I love using Isaiah 40:26, if I can get a chance re Jehovah's creations..........I try to get across: "You get energy from matter, e.g. you can generate steam in a boiler by burning matter (coal, ugh!, oil, gas, atomic reactor, steam drives a turbine/generator, "pow" electricity".............the process is reversible i.e. you can create matter from energy, (scientists have only been able to achieve this in a very small way)..........NOW Isaiah 40:26, Jehovah is a vast source of dynamic energy.........hence not a problem to create the entire universe whilst applying Laws of Thermodynamics, Physics, etc.,.........problem sol-ved!!

Tom, in Australia on April 25^th they celebrate the "glorification of war," it is called ANZAC Day, (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps - but, involves the 3 armed services, with marches of servicemen and ex-servicemen through cities and towns, services at war memorials and churches, etc............around that day some people get a little "uppity" with "us pacifists," I do not have a problem with that..........I usually tell them that I had served in the Royal Australian Navy for over 13 years, before I saw the error of my ways..........I find that most times we can then have a friendly chat about the words recorded for us at James 4:1-3, if they let me go to the scriptures.........it may go to the point of discussing where both they and I served in various war zones, sometimes medals are mentioned, my reply is usually........."I had 3, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Indonesian confrontation, (something like that-I think), I gave them to my kids to play with and I have not seen them since 1970" .............it is also good to ask them whether or not the war(s) that they fought in actually achieved anything - except a lot of death, destruction and misery -...........the answer in the main is "not much," but, occasionally you get the real patriot, who will "stand up on his soap box" and start "singing the National Anthem." so to speak.

We so look forward to the time when all this will be a thing of the past, and see the words outside the United Nations HQ in New York quoted from Isaiah 2:4 come to their literal fulfillment under God's Kingdom.

The comments by Anatoly Vasilyevich Pchelintsev, reminded me somewhat of the words spoken by the Pharisee, Gamaliel in Acts 5:33-40, when he warned the Sanhedrin

PS Well worth listening to the others  as well as they express their concern over the actions of the Russian authorities seeking to ban our brothers and Organisation there in the Russian Federation. (and, as I pointed out recently, ALL NON Witnesses).

.......and what is more Anna..........they have NO CHOICE in the matter............sort of like the proverbial fish with the hook in its mouth and the barb solidly embedded in the roof of its mouth.......you may have to cut the fishes head off to retrieve the hook......just what will happen to the kings of the earth.......they will certainly have their heads "lopped off," as it were, in the not too distant future......methinks

You know Bible Speaks...........this is one account in God's Word that fills me with awe.......just imagining that great crowd passing through the parted Red Sea.........on dry land.....the Egyptians trying to follow them...........then sudden destruction came upon them, as the sea rushed in......along with the flood of Noah's Day........provides proof to me that Jehovah WILL save his loyal ones at the end of this system......they are faith strengthening accounts, that we should never forget.

As they say "A picture is worth a thousand words"........very true with this case in point.

Just a snippet from what Donald "Duck" said on the US missile strike on the Syrian air base........I guess that in those few words that I have chosen, he is definitely right on one thing...........we certainly do live in a troubled world...........however I am afraid that the "wisdom of God" will elude him......I liked one dictionary definition of elude: to escape the understanding, perception, or appreciation of: ........I thought that it fitted quite well.

I must say that their view of things seem to change like the weather.........one minute they will overrule any international court decisions and now they are seeking redress through an international body.......can't seem to make up their minds what they want!!!

PS..........and I am only guessing that the annexation of part of the Ukraine was not a violation of international law

Too true Miriam..........recalling the words of Isaiah 55:8, 9 is always a comfort, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, And your ways are not my ways,” declares Jehovah.  “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So my ways are higher than your ways And my thoughts than your thoughts..........because whatever happens, it is not man's thoughts or will that will be used to solve this world's problems. It is Jehovah's thoughts and His will that will take place..........and can't we be glad of that?

I think that the authorities, or powers that be have a little more to worry about now, after Donald "Duck" ordered the missile strike against one of Assad's air bases.......we certainly do live in interesting times.............dare one ask, "Is this the last days of the "Last Days??""

Will certainly be interesting to see what Russia's response will be.......this is probably the biggest problem they have at the moment, among the several problems that they do have on their plate!!!
