WAS IT DESIGNED?
The Storage Capacity of DNACOMPUTER users generate enormous amounts of digital data that has to be stored for access as needed. Scientists are hoping to revolutionize current methods for digital storage by imitating a far superior data-storage system found in nature—DNA.
Consider: DNA, found in living cells, holds billions of pieces of biological information. “We can extract it from bones of woolly mammoths . . . and make sense of it,” says Nick Goldman of the European Bioinformatics Institute. “It’s also incredibly small, dense and does not need any power for storage, so shipping and keeping it is easy.” Could DNA store man-made data? Researchers say yes.
Scientists have synthesized DNA with encoded text, images, and audio files, much as digital media stores data. The researchers were later able to decode the stored information with 100 percent accuracy. Scientists believe that in time, using this method, 0.04 ounce (1 g) of artificial DNA could store the data of some 3,000,000 CDs and that all this information could be preserved for hundreds if not thousands of years. Potentially, this system could store the whole world’s digital archive. DNA has thus been dubbed “the ultimate hard drive.”

Da Noah Jehova gut kannte, entwickelte er Vertrauen zu Gott und konnte weise handeln. Das war ein Schutz für ihn, vor allem in geistiger Hinsicht. Weil er sich eng an Gott hielt, suchte er nicht die Freundschaft gottloser Menschen. Er fiel auch nicht auf die Dämonen in Menschengestalt herein, die mit ihren übernatürlichen Fähigkeiten leichtgläubige, gottlose Menschen bestimmt beeindruckten. Vielleicht wurden sie sogar vergöttert (1. Mo. 6:1-4, 9). Noah wusste auch: Die Menschen sollten sich vermehren und die Erde füllen (1. Mo. 1:27, 28). Es muss ihm daher klar gewesen sein, dass sexuelle Beziehungen zwischen Frauen und materialisierten Engeln unnatürlich und falsch waren. Das wurde noch deutlicher, als daraus unnatürliche Nachkommen hervorgingen. Schließlich warnte Gott Noah vor einer weltweiten Flut. Aus Glauben baute Noah die Arche und rettete so seine Familie (Heb. 11:7). w18.02 9 Abs. 8

Glücklich ist das Volk, dessen Gott Jehova ist! (Ps. 144:15)
Wir leben in einer ganz besonderen Zeit der Menschheitsgeschichte. Wie in der Bibel vorausgesagt, sammelt Jehova „eine große Volksmenge . . . aus allen Nationen und Stämmen und Völkern und Zungen“ ein. Sie bildet „eine mächtige Nation“ von mehr als acht Millionen glücklichen Menschen, die Gott „Tag und Nacht“ heiligen Dienst darbringen (Offb. 7:9, 15; Jes. 60:22). Noch nie gab es so viele, die Gott und ihren Nächsten lieben gelernt haben. Wie in der Bibel für unsere Zeit aber auch vorausgesagt wurde, würden sich Menschen, die Gott entfremdet sind, durch eine fehlgeleitete Liebe auszeichnen — selbstsüchtige Liebe. Der Apostel Paulus schrieb: „In den letzten Tagen werden . . . die Menschen . . . sich selbst und das Geld lieben. Sie werden . . . das Vergnügen lieben statt Gott“ (2. Tim. 3:1-4, NW, 2013). Ichbezogene Liebe passt nicht zu christlicher Liebe; sie steht im Gegensatz zu ihr. Vielmehr fördert sie ein selbstsüchtiges Klima, mit dem man „schwer fertig wird“. w18.01 22 Abs. 1, 2

SOMETIMES....
Sometimes I think, we forget that Jehovah loved us 1st, loved us even before we were born, as we were gestating. We forget, how loves us while we are In the very process of so and the waits for us to come to him.
He waits compassionately with hope, with kindness and with hope and perhaps of course the discipline we might have earned, for the wrongdoing, but it'll always be the right discipline to the right degree, not overly harsh and not bury us and forever harm. That's the beautiful thing about Jehovah.

Seit gut zwei Wochen wird die 15-Jährige Rebecca aus Berlin vermisst. Ihr Schwager wird des Totschlags verdächtigt - und ein zweites Mal festgenommen. Die Ermittler erhoffen sich von ihm Angaben zum Verbleib des Mädchens.Im Fall der vermissten Rebecca aus Berlin kommt der erneut festgenommene Schwager der 15-Jährigen am Dienstag vor einen Haftrichter. Dem 27-Jährigen soll am Vormittag der Haftbefehl verkündet werden, wie die Polizei mitteilte.
Er war am Montagabend zum zweiten Mal innerhalb weniger Tage festgenommen worden. Es gebe einen gültigen Haftbefehl wegen des dringenden Tatverdachts des Totschlags gegen den Beschuldigten, teilte ein Polizeisprecher mit.
Die 15-jährige Rebecca wird seit gut zwei Wochen vermisst. Die Polizei geht inzwischen davon aus, dass sie einem Tötungsverbrechen zum Opfer fiel.
Rebecca hatte nach bisherigen Erkenntnissen bei einer älteren Schwester und deren Familie übernachtet, erschien am Morgen des 18. Februar aber nicht in der Schule. Eine Mordkommission übernahm einige Tage später die Ermittlungen.
Der 27 Jahre alte Verdächtige war bereits vergangene Woche in den Fokus der Ermittler gerückt und am Donnerstag schon einmal festgenommen worden. Die Ermittler hatten unerklärliche Widersprüche zwischen seinen Angaben und Ermittlungsergebnissen gesehen. Der damalige Ermittlungsrichter erließ jedoch keinen Haftbefehl, sodass der in Deutschland geborene Mann am Freitag zunächst wieder auf freien Fuß kam.
Nachdem die Staatsanwaltschaft Berlin Beschwerde dagegen einlegte, erließ ein anderer Ermittlungsrichter den Haftbefehl. Ob dem neuen Richter weitere Beweise vorgelegt wurden blieb unklar. Auf Grundlage des Haftbefehls nahmen Ermittler der Mordkommission den Verdächtigen am Montagabend in Berlin fest. Sie erhoffen sich nun Angaben von ihm zum Verbleib Rebeccas.
Nach wie vor scheint von dem Mädchen jede Spur zu fehlen. Trotz intensiver Suche wurde sie weder lebend gefunden noch wurde ihre Leiche entdeckt. Am Freitag untersuchte ein Team von Kriminaltechnikern das Haus des Schwagers auf Spuren.
Nach der erneuten Festnahme des Schwagers geht die Polizei weiterhin zahlreichen Spuren nach. Fast 350 Hinweise seien bisher eingegangen, sagte eine Sprecherin. (dpa)

Als wir Diener Gottes wurden, haben wir uns grundlegend geändert. Das hat sich auf jeden Bereich unseres Lebens ausgewirkt. Mit der Taufe hören diese Veränderungen nicht auf. Da wir nicht vollkommen sind, müssen wir alle weiter an unserer geistigen Gesinnung arbeiten (Phil. 3:12, 13). Fragen wir uns, ganz gleich wie alt wir sind: „Mache ich geistige Fortschritte? Wird meine Persönlichkeit der des Christus immer ähnlicher? Wie denke ich beispielsweise über die Zusammenkünfte und wie verhalte ich mich dort? Was verraten meine Gespräche über meine Prioritäten? Was lassen meine Studiengewohnheiten und mein Äußeres erkennen? Wie reagiere ich auf Rat? Wie gehe ich mit Versuchungen um? Habe ich mich zu einem reifen Christen entwickelt oder bin ich bei den Grundwahrheiten stehen geblieben?“ (Eph. 4:13). Albert Einstein was by no means a bad student - even if that is always told.
For every student who struggles with his grades, it may sound comforting: even Albert Einstein, the epitome of genius, should have been a bad student. Ironically, in physics, the later Nobel laureate had a smooth "six" in the high school diploma.
But the story, which many like to believe, is not true. Some facts from Einstein's life have simply misunderstood biographers.
The student rebelled against drill and pointless timpani
Thus, there is often talk of difficulties with which the young Einstein had to fight at his Munich grammar school. But most of all, they were related to the freedom-loving student rebelling against lesson drills and senseless drumming. To good grades it was enough anyway. Even then his achievements were outstanding, especially in the natural sciences.
The fact that Einstein finally dropped out of grammar school in Munich did not have anything to do with academic failure either. His family had moved to Italy because of economic problems, so that those left alone no longer kept in Germany.
Einstein's biographer mistook the grades
The next stage of his life later fed on the myth of school failures: Einstein did not succeed in the entrance examination for the Polytechnic in Zurich. However, the gifted could compete only with a special permit, because instead of the prescribed 18 he was only 16 years old. Nevertheless, he achieved the best results in the mathematics and natural sciences, while he showed knowledge gaps in other areas.
As a result, Einstein first took his Abitur in the Aargau Cantonal School. His diploma was full of "Fives" and "Sixes" - among other things he had a "Six" in physics. Unfortunately, his biographer overlooked the fact that they were the highest scores in Switzerland and so finally created the myth of the weak student, who later miraculously mutated into an incomparable genius.

Doch die Geschichte, die viele gerne glauben mögen, stimmt nicht. Einige Fakten aus Einsteins Leben haben Biographen schlicht und einfach falsch verstanden.
Der Schüler rebellierte gegen Drill und sinnloses Pauken
So ist häufig von Schwierigkeiten die Rede, mit denen der junge Einstein an seinem Münchner Gymnasium zu kämpfen hatte. Doch die hingen vor allem damit zusammen, dass der freiheitsliebende Schüler gegen Unterrichtsdrill und sinnloses Pauken rebellierte. Zu guten Noten reichte es trotzdem. Schon damals waren seine Leistungen insbesondere in den Naturwissenschaften herausragend.
Dass Einstein das Gymnasium in München schließlich vorzeitig abbrach, hatte ebenfalls nichts mit schulischem Versagen zu tun. Seine Familie war wegen wirtschaftlicher Probleme nach Italien umgezogen, so dass den allein Zurückgebliebenen nun nichts mehr in Deutschland hielt.
Einsteins Biograph verwechselte die Schulnoten
Auch die nächste Etappe seines Lebens nährte später den Mythos vom Schulversager: Einstein schaffte die Aufnahmeprüfung für das Polytechnikum in Zürich nicht. Allerdings konnte der Hochbegabte nur mit einer Ausnahmegenehmigung antreten, denn statt der vorgeschriebenen 18 war er erst 16 Jahre alt. Trotzdem erzielte er in den mathematisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Fächern beste Ergebnisse, während er in anderen Bereichen Wissenslücken zeigte.
Daraufhin holte Einstein erst einmal in der Aargauer Kantonschule sein Abitur nach. Sein Abschlusszeugnis wimmelte von „Fünfen“ und „Sechsen“ – unter anderem hatte er in Physik eine „Sechs“. Sonntag, 3. März 2019Geht und macht Jünger aus Menschen (Mat. 28:19, 20)
Die Bibel legt kein Alter für die Taufe fest. Das griechische Wort, das in Matthäus 28:19 mit „macht Jünger“ übersetzt wurde, bezieht sich auf das Lehren mit einer bestimmten Absicht, nämlich Schüler oder Jünger zu machen. Ein Jünger ist jemand, der Jesu Lehren kennenlernt, sie versteht und entschlossen ist, sie zu halten. Eltern sollten ihre Kinder daher von klein auf mit dem Ziel lehren, getaufte Jünger Christi zu werden. Auch wenn sich ein Kleinkind natürlich nicht für die Taufe eignet, zeigt die Bibel doch, dass selbst verhältnismäßig kleine Kinder biblische Wahrheiten verstehen und schätzen können. Timotheus zum Beispiel machte sich die Wahrheit in jungen Jahren zu eigen. Sein Glaube war unerschütterlich (2. Tim. 1:5; 3:14, 15). Mit ungefähr 20 war Timotheus ein Jünger Christi und kam für besondere Aufgaben infrage (Apg. 16:1-3). w18.03 9 Abs. 4, 5

Eine der größten Prüfungen für manche Eltern hat mit dem Verhalten gegenüber einem ausgeschlossenen Kind zu tun. Eine Mutter, deren ausgeschlossene Tochter von zu Hause auszog, gibt zu: „Ich suchte nach Schlupflöchern in unseren Veröffentlichungen, um mit meiner Tochter und mit meiner Enkelin Zeit zu verbringen.“ Dann sagt sie: „Aber mein Mann erklärte mir liebevoll, dass wir es nicht mehr in der Hand haben, wie es mit unserem Kind weitergeht, und dass wir uns nicht einmischen dürfen.“ Einige Jahre später wurde die Tochter wiederaufgenommen. „Sie hat großen Respekt vor meinem Mann und mir, weil wir Gott gehorcht haben“, sagt die Mutter. Hast du ein ausgeschlossenes Kind? Vertraust du dann „auf Jehova mit deinem ganzen Herzen, und stützt dich nicht auf deinen eigenen Verstand“? (Spr. 3:5, 6). Vertraue Jehova und folge seiner Anleitung, selbst wenn es schmerzlich ist. Arbeite in Erziehungsfragen immer mit Jehova zusammen, nicht gegen ihn. w18.03 31 Abs. 12, 13
