    My wife and I attended an Assembly in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and we sat close to the front ... during a demonstration a Brother in a group of four Witnesses sharing their experiences on stage, proudly related that he had not spoken one word to his disfellowshipped father IN MORE THAN 20 YEARS. This was met by a vigorous round of applause from the audience ... EXCEPT myself and my wife ... who were horrified at such cruelty.

    My "Happy Pants" are Levis "blue jeans", ( with a dark blue long sleeve button down collar shirt.) I wear a black suit to the Kingdom Hall, but I feel like a dislocated Penguin, or an overdressed Paladin. With 10 million dollars you could buy a good used helicopter and pilot training and fuel and maintenance. That is as close to heaven as Ah would ever get! (sigh....)

    May I get the source of this information?  I didn't see anything about it on the newsroom site of JW.org.  Thank you in advance! Taken in context with my previous comment in this regard, It is quite understandable that this is not mentioned in the JW.ORG newsroom site, if true .... .... money is supposed to flow UPSTREAM .... NOT DOWNSTREAM. There is an old saying that is always true. "Follow the Money". That will tell you what is REALLY true.

    TTH: I have found that the most trustworthy and dependable friends are the ones you "pay for" ... just never forget that you are your OWN best friend, and everything else is ephemeral ... and when they run out of time, and when you run out of money, they will be gone. Reality, when correctly understood .. is NOT a cause for anxiety. Possibly four exceptions in a person's lifetime. It's like on FACEBOOK ..... man has 473 "friends" ... one shows up at his funeral.

    WOULD YOU PAY SOMEONE $80 AN HOUR TO CUDDLE YOU? My Dad, whose religion was United States Navy, often lamented that in the "early days" of the United States Navy, the men were made of steel, and the ships were made of wood ... but today ... the ships are made of steel, and the men are made of wood. With that in mind, there are people SO UPSET that Trump won the Presidency that they are paying "professional Cuddlers" to hold them while they sob and moan. I know that on some college campi that they have "safe spaces" where it is not allowed to MENTION that Trump won ... and folks are furnished coloring books, crayons, and teddy bears to hug .. at taxpayer (subsidized) expense.     That is why we have an Electrical GRID! They will not be able to sell THEIR generated power, but the power will be made up from the rest of the non-solar powered grid ( gas, oil, coal, nuclear, hydroelectric, wind ..) as far as the consumer goes. THINK ABOUT IT! The greatest use of power is at NIGHT (depending on season and location ...). How much solar power is available at NIGHT? ZERO. The article is interesting ... but it is NOT NEWS.

    If you survive it ... and are not crippled too badly... experience is the BEST teacher ! I so very much enjoy knowing what I know, today. Willy-Nilly ... I survived getting the many tests first, and the expensive lessons afterwards. ...and SOMEHOW ... I survived it.     Among humans there is truly INFINITE variety. It also varies from culture to culture. I would suspect that culture has a great deal more to do with such conclusions. It's like "Global Warming" ... Information is collected from all over the world about weather ... and plugged into any of perhaps 20 different computer models, each programmed with the perceptions and biases of the researchers, and who is funding their investigations .... Then, when the results come out ... they disregard any model results that do not agree with their preconceived notions of the conclusions THEY SEEK! .

    It depends on the skin, the concentration, and the time of contact. The same as being able to pass your finger through the flame of a lit candle. How much time ... makes all the difference. Chlorine is a gas that will pass through plastic over time .... a bottle of household bleach is chlorine gas (sodium hypochlorite) dissolved in water, and if you set it aside for a year or so, what you will have left is briny salt water. After you disinfect drinking water with chlorine, just set it aside for awhile, and the chlorine will "evaporate". I disinfect my skin with household bleach, which is really about 95% water. Never had any problem.

    Men do not have to use ALL their brains ... and ... by drinking massive quantities of beer, which kills brain cells ( but only killing the defective ones that can't take it ...) have a "natural selection" process that is unsurpassed. I once worked for an Engineering Company whose Chief Engineer was an alcoholic, and spent his afternoons drunk behind the office, under a tree (weather permitting), but you could go and ask him any question, and instantly he would give you the correct answer, often, without even waking up. That is not to say that men are superior .... as they wage war against each other, sending the fittest out to die, while the dullards and weak stay home and make babies. Between the beer, and war .... it all evens out.
